Sure you won't get to use it in approx 70% of your matches (and in the 30% you do get to use it, it won't do you much good for 15% of those matches and it will only get you one more kill in 10%)
BUT…
Those 5% when you get a total team kill because of Bloodwarden? Almost always because of griefing teams being jerks and you having to bide your time to get that EGC timer to go to half without making it obvious what you're doing…
There is literally no better feeling in this game (and much of life!) than that.

We don't really know if Pinhead can actually leave the realm or not or if the Survivors actually gets sent to hell or not though, his voicelines are not enough to tell us since most of them are just mostly references to the first movie.
For all we know, Pinhead could be believing that he's sending Survivors to hell, but actually doesn't do so as The Entity always returns them to the campfire instead since it doesn't allow anyone to actually leave unless it desires so.

But yeah, I suppose Pinhead could be under the belief that his victims are being sent to Pinworld but that's just what the Entity is "showing" Pinhead/the player and it's not actually happening.

I'd say…1/6ish. Give or take.
Some days no one gives up and some days it seems like every damn game has someone quitting or killing themselves on hook but I'd put it at about that number.
I like when people save them off the hook so I can serve up some Street Justice and slug them :D

It seems like once a game/studio gets big enough, rewarding your players with big things like that kind of just goes out the window. They packaged a bunch of the older killers together in bundles so if they were going to start offering older killers/survivors for free, that would have been the time.

I had seen this earlier and was disappointed but not particularly worried or concerned about it
However, a lot of people I respect from the community are super irked about it and stating that they may just plain quit the game over this, which makes me a lot more concerned over the whys than I had been previously. I don't know if people have more info than I do (which granted, I haven't exactly looked into this since it just happened today and all I've seen was the initial tweet) but that has concerned me far more than the news itself…

I hate that it is gone. I didn't touch normal mode at all during and I have no real desire to again. I probably will cause what else am I gonna do, not play?!?! Ha haaaa….I need a hobby.

Killers are always faster than survivors regardless of what platform they are on. Some killers are faster than others but except for Nurse, every killer will be faster than the survivor, especially running in a straight line. Looping can help as not every killer is adapt at running around loops with the larger hitbox but even then, they'll eventually catch you.

Him or Pinhead as it sounds like Pinhead was accidentally summoned to the realm and decided this was fun. His Mori also implies that he can leave whenever he wants as he can send survivors to The Labyrinth, he just chooses not to because there are plenty of victims for him. Not to mention The Leviathan that Pinhead can call for backup from...
Although the lore to The Dredge also implies he might be an Entity Level Threat as well. Like The Garden of Joy, there is way more to him than meets the eye.
A dark horse contender could be The Demodoggo. Obviously doggo himself isn't that powerful but The Mindflayer could arguably be part of that package.

About consultants and requirements:
- Consultants do not need to be content creators. While some are, others are not.
- There is no application process. We select and invite people who would be a good fit for the program and fill the needs we have in terms of experience with specific aspects of the game.
- Being selected as a consultant is not simply a reward for being a die-hard fan. Consultants are contractors who are paid and have certain responsibilities.
- Consultants have varying experience (e.g. Killers they've mastered), preferences, playstyles, and skill levels.
About the consultants role & responsibilities:
- Consultants must participate in closed playtests. Inactive consultants would be removed from the program and replaced with someone who is able to participate.
- It is a consultant's duty to give feedback on upcoming changes that are presented to them.
- Consultant feedback is used to help make informed decisions, but it is not the sole deciding factor. We need to keep in mind that consultants are highly experienced players and that their impressions may not always align with the wider community (though they often do).
- Consultants do not come up with balance changes and are not responsible for how things turn out. It falls on us to decide what needs to be acted upon. (Please do not harass consultants if there is a change you do not like.)
- Consultants are not QA - it is not their responsibility to test the game and find bugs.
Qualities we look for in consultants (among other traits):
- Trustworthy, as they are given information early
- A wide range of experience within the game (and ideally experts in certain areas)
- Able to provide constructive feedback
- Able to maintain a civil discussion with people who have differing opinions
- Able to set aside biases when giving feedback or acknowledge that their biases may be influencing their opinions
Most importantly, none of this means that your feedback doesn't matter. This program helps us gather feedback for changes early on in development and make adjustments before they are revealed. Once they hit the PTB, feedback from the wider community is just as important.

If I'm a killer and I see a survivor do that to their team (right away at least), I will slug them and make them lie there and think about what they've done while letting the other three go.
Is that petty and bad? Maybe! But if you're going to go out of your way to ruin the game for four other people, I'm giving you a DC penalty Street Justice Style.

The biggest problem is there are over 100 perks per side at this point
If you're not constantly playing like me, you don't know what a lot of the perks do. Hell, I have WAY too many hours in this game and there are plenty of perks that I don't know what they do and I need to look at them at the end game screen to find out what they do.
The Chaos Shuffle has been wonderful for me because I'm now learning what a bunch of perks I never look at do.

I absolutely love it. It's fun getting random perks and trying ish that I never really thought too much about AND it's great knowing that every player is in my boat so it's not just yet another 4 meta snoozefest.
I use a lot of non-meta perks because I find them fun so it's nice to have a mode where I can do that (even if I don't get to choose my non-meta perks) and not have to worry about getting curb stomped by someone playing like their life depends on winning the game.

They have not. My D&D days were before I got my kitty cats. Though I still have all my stuff and am trying to find a nerd store around here that does D&D cause I'd love to try to get back into it (or maybe Warhammer but I know that one is spendy...)

So far, the only thing that has been revealed is that it is D&D related but everybody and their mother knew it was not only going to be D&D, it's presumed to be Vecna
So the trailer didn't reveal anything that we haven't already known for weeks.

I am never going to generalize and say "All Killers are X" (or vice versa for Survivors).
HOWEVER
I will say that I have found more and more players who just tunnel and camp as killers. Which is their right as a player but it just kills the experience of playing the game and is at least part of the reason why my playing of this game has dropped considerably.
As I stated, I won't paint all killers with that broad brush but plenty of players do not hold that viewpoint and therefore will dump on all killers. I imagine a lot of the current "killers suck" discussion is coming from that place of frustration.

I love Oppression!
I run it on most of my builds
Sure there are better perks for gen regression but I've always liked running Oppression. Especially useful when there's 3 gens left as one kick and you're good on patrolling gens.

DBD isn't built on some point system. You don't have to add something to X just because you added something to Y.
I'd rather BHVR just go nutter butters and just buff the like….150 perks that are not very good that no one uses and have some dang fun.

I've kind of fallen away a lot from both
For the game, I still play but I'm at the point where I play maybe 2-3 games a day (assuming I even boot it up)
For the forum, as stated, there's only so much to talk about on here so it's consistently the same arguments with the same people with the same talking points. I was never a super prevalent poster (I've just been here a long time :D) but it's common that I don't even check the forums anymore except for Off Topic in case someone has posted something adorable in the animals thread.
