Honestly, this complain sounds completely fair to me given BHVRs statements in the past.
I get Nintendo might say No to the DLC Sharing but this feels like something BHVR should then make right themselves. Like…just unlock the Original Characters and give an "At Cost" discount to the DLC (I have no idea how much of the $4 per character goes to BHVR versus whoever owns the rights to the character. While it would be most right for them to just give everyone on Switch the characters on other devices, I can at least understand why they wouldn't just want to eat those costs).

Thanks! Also one last question about crossprogression. It is in the FAQ but just to confirm. Dlc purchased on psn (not in game store), will be shared with other versions? And trophy/achievements?

I would assume so because the game would see it as DLC whether it was purchased from Steam or from the game itself but I can't confirm that for certain.
EDIT: For example, I have bought most of my DLC on Xbox Live but when I look at the BHVR Store, it states that I already own it.

I've talked about this on this forum before but I have a chronic pain condition thingy. It always limits a lot of what I can do just because so much stuff aggravates it and makes it hurt. However…
I am hopeful with the new treatment I'm getting done. I've been getting Botox Shots for about 3 years now for the pain, which I just got at the beginning of the month. Generally they take 2-3 weeks to really kick in so I'm just about getting into that zone, which is when I feel the best. Unfortunately the shots have been really hit and miss as they give me great relief but they don't last. However (again)…
I started a treatment called Dry Needling with the Physical Therapist. It hurts. A LOT 😅. BUT I actively feel looser after the treatment. The Botox shots always seem to get me to like….90% healthy before they start wearing off so I'm hoping that by combining the two, I might have a shot at completely breaking this issue. One year I had the Botox shots last almost the entire year pain free and my ongoing theory is that the muscles never get to 100% good (so it's just a matter of when, not if the pain comes back) but that year for whatever reason the muscles got to 100% and it stayed that way until I re-aggravated it).
I'm trying to make sure I still stay realistic because I have a bad habit of getting my hopes up really high when the Botox works but then I get really low when it inevitably comes back but this feels really promising to me.

Cross Progression Update
Microsoft just announced another Price Hike on Game Pass and I realized that except for DBD, there is no multiplayer game that I play. Since I can plug my controller into my PC, I realized that I should just get DBD on my PC instead and dump GP all together but I've bought every DLC Character and have no desire to rebuy all that stuff…
Even if the ultimate answer is "Not gonna happen", it would be nice to know what is going on with that so I can decide what I do with GP before September and the price hike comes

We should probably wait for it to come out before we declare anything.
I can't say for sure cause…you know…it's not out yet but I feel like 2v8 is gonna go the way of "My Lil Oni". It'll be super cool and everyone will freak out over how awesome it is and it'll fizzle out really quick. It'll probably survive a little bit longer than Oni but I give it maybe a week before people wander back to the normal mode.
Cause a few things you need to keep in mind. You can't use every killer in the mode. I don't know if BHVR has confirmed for sure who is going to be playable but the articles I read said only five killers (Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, Hillbilly, and Nurse) will be available in the mode. Second, while the mode sounds like it would be great for killers, I'm not sure survivors are going to be on board with two killers. Tunneling and camping are major issues as it is, now imagine you have two killers that can tag team you. The mode isn't going to do anything if you can't get the survivor player base on board as well…

Very few players legitimately consider a survivor body blocking you as you tunneling.
Personally I always like to try to go around them but if they stop me, I stop and slow turn look at them. I like to pretend like they realized they just F'ed up because now an angry killer is doing the Myers Head Tilt Stare at them.

it's a visual bug; sometimes some of the bonus BP is shown in the match results screen (which usually doesn't have the bonus BP, except for glyphs and event-specific score events)

On the plus side, that explains that. On the negative side, I thought I was getting a STUPID amount of BP in one survivor match and now my illusions are broken 😭

The survivor points system in this event confuses the hell out of me. Usually I'm getting 10-40k BP but once in a while, I'll get like...110,000 and I have no idea what I did. Every match I go for the party chests/totems and I do gens plenty. I'm sure there's something simple I just missed and/or skipped in the events notes.

I love the voice lines. I want them to keep talking. I love Tryx cause of her voice lines (huh, I guess you can't attach URLs cause it posts the thread but all well, see below I guess).

I would love for them to introduce lines to every character. The one thing I will say is that I understand a lot of people DON'T like it so they should have like…either a meter where you can customize how often it happens (Low, Medium, High or something like that) or at the very least just an option to toggle them off or on with the only exceptions being characters who do voice things for balance reasons (like Chucky giggling when he's in Hidey Ho mode, that should remain because it's part of his balance).

I'm perfectly fine with Survivor. It is almost exclusively what I've played during the event (I choose whichever side has the Bonus going for them, which has been almost always survivor).
I do think the killer powers in the event outperform the survivor powers but I'm still enjoying it just for the novelty of it all. I suppose if this were a permanent thing or whatnot I'd be a lot more irked but I have no real issues with the slight power imbalance for a timed event.

During normal time (so not the Anniversary Event), I will always spare the survivors if at last 2 BPS items are in play. A lot of times I'll do it if even just 1 is in play but by default, unless you REALLY go out of your way to piss me off, I will let everyone go (I will basically just play normally but then not Death Hook anyone).
Along with that, if the Killer has a BPS, I will let myself die at the end if I would have escaped otherwise as my own "Thank you for bringing 2X BP" gesture.
It's really the only time I'll change my tactics based on offerings.

Most people's definition of camping is sitting near the hook WITHOUT reason.
Seeing/hearing other survivors running to do the save is a very good reason to go back to the hook/hook area.

I suppose the only thing they could do is just like... double or triple bp even for the normal queue while leaving the anniversary event the way it is. Probably still worth more BP even at Triple BP but it would make the points closer

It might be harsh and unfair but...yeah, if you want normal DBD, play the normal mode
All the extra points you get in the whacky mode are from doing the whacky things. If you don't want to do the whacky things (or go against the whacky things), go play the normal mode.
You can still stack all the cobblers you want over there so still plenty of points for you to gobble up

Every day we see this game is X sided threads. People can't even agree how well balanced (or unbalanced) the regular game mode is.
I'd much rather BHVR go nuts with the goofy ass mechanics and accidentally go too far one way or the other rather than just play it safe because they're scared it's too X sided this time

If I'm on hook with only one other person left, I'm letting Death take me (though sometimes they rescue me anyway before I can "fail" my second skill check).
However, while I'd like survivors to show me the same courtesy, I don't expect it. If they wish to keep trying to survive and I get the opportunity, I will try and save them.

It'll almost certainly never ever happen. BHVR is very gunshy about adding anything political and whether you agree or not, country flags are part of that (especially given the landscape in Israel, Palestine, Russia, and Ukraine)
