Swf isn't fun, not in any reality.
too easy as a survivor (auto win)
not fun as killer.
you want to know the real reason ppl play in swf groups, because they want to gang up on one person.
that's right, the real reason you want to play in a SWF group is cause you are a bully, no other reason
Yes. Every single swf is out to bully the poor defenseless killer. None of them could possibly want to play a game with their friends. It couldn't be they like to joke around with and talk to people they like. No, it's clearly because they're the worst kind of scum imaginable.
-
You expected a game based around being trapped in the realm of a giant spider monster to not get a bit ridiculous? Okay, good luck with that.
-
I was making my first real attempt at the game around then. It was pretty cool.

The bloodpoint hard-cap for each category is 8k and it's the same for survivors as it is for killers: there is no gap.
Survivors lobbied intensively for one particular playstyle to be supported above any alternatives. That gives the most bloodpoints for them but they are competing with each other for saves, heals, pallet-stun, gen-progress when they are doing them separately to power the gates faster and the killer's attention.
If killers are consistently getting more points(per match does not matter if it doesn't translate to points over time), it's because they're simply doing more than any individual survivor is.
WGLF appears to be a rare case of joined-up design as it works with BBQ. BBQ encourages the killer to leave a hook and get everyone at least once, whilst WGLF is for increasing the reward for taking the opportunity provided by BBQ. Survivors don't use it simply because it's not a 2nd-chance perk nor does it have synergy with any other survivor perk; only it's killer-side counter-part.
It's not entirely true that the killer is doing more to earn the blood points. A killers BP categories all play together. You earn points while you chase in the Hunter category, while raking up points in Brutality from the hits you get during said chase. Which lead to your Malicious points. Depending on the killers power you can be getting Deviousness points during those chases too.
A survivor on the other hand has four completely separate BP categories, where you can only earn points in them one at a time.
-
It's not about getting a 4k every match. It's about giving them a fair chance to do so.
-
I agree they can and should change perks if they need rebalancing. The cosmetics thing is more bothersome since people buy them for the look.

I agree. Crying is fun
Lol. At least some people got the joke.

But I want to cry about Noed.

Great argument supported by facts and logic. You seem to fail to understand the entire purpose of a game in general, and ALL games, not just video games.
Again, I will point to Super Smash Bros, a game born to be casual, but still balanced around the top 1% of players.
Bring substance or just dont bother.
Any game can be made competitive depending on how seriously people take said game. The purpose of a game is to have fun. That's why they're called games. Can games be competitive? Of course. DbD isn't really a competitive game. Nor is it entirely causal either. It's caught somewhere in the middle.
To the OP, the game isn't balanced around top players because it's an extreme minority. Also in general new survivors get smashed by new killers. If you made it even worse you'd likely run off any new people from playing. I do think that balance changes are needed, they just need to be done with care so as to not alienate new players.
-
@Tsulan my point was the two perks aren't a one to one trade like people say they are. While I don't personally care for Noed, I don't have a problem with it.
-
@Tsulan Noed and Adrenaline aren't really equivalent. Adrenaline triggers after survivors completed their objective. Noed triggers after the killer has failed to stop the survivors. I'm not advocating for noed to go, just saying the one rewards success the other failure.
To the OP, survivors still have plenty of things to work with.
-
Why does everyone think that everybody records their games?
-
To avoid skill checks on ruin. I did it once when my skill check wheel was invisible.
-
Yeah, that was rough.

Most of them yes
Jesus.

So Wake Up is making all actions 15% faster?
-
Wth is Wake Up doing?
-
I personally like Haddonfield from both sides. Which is not to say that I don't get stomped on it sometimes. I do agree it needs some changes. But if you DC because of the map, you are a pansy. Should I DC everytime I face a killer I can't play well against? I'm pretty sure nobody would say that I should.
-
@George_Soros See that is an actual argument. I agree that it's fine as is.

Don't be an ass. Make an actual argument.
To the OP, while I share your dislike of camping the counter already exists. Your team doing the gens. If survivors didn't reward camping, it would be all but gone. While there will always be those who camp to ruin someone's game, the majority do it because it works.

Raaaawr! Do what I say! Raaaaaaaaaawr
Dude #########. They asked nicely to have the event extended. How does that deserve mockery?
-
I feel that if they couldn't get the license for Scream, they shouldn't have bothered with the Ghostface mask. To me it would be like the could only get the rights to the mask for Myers, so we got an entirely different character.
-
Because you want him. That's the only reason to buy any killer. If there's nothing about gf that appeals to you don't buy him. I'm not.
-
I was going to ask what the OP was talking about. Now that I know, this seems like a terrible idea.

I love it so much when the first survivor I get to eliminate was the one that broght the BPS :-D Think of their frustation

@Tsulan said:
And people give me downvotes, when I ask for the hatch removal...
I don't agree that it should be removed. They should revert back to needing two gens completed though.
-
The game is about as stable as a hippo on roller skates half the time. It's just as likely they got kicked.
-
That's why my messages are off.
-
He's not. He's strong, but not op. I will agree the chainsaw hitbox can be a bit wonky at times.
-
I certainly wouldn't oppose it.
-
I won't use streamers because it seems to always lead to people being jerks. At this point I don't usually bother getting them in blood webs.
-
Not really.
-
Spirit is fine. I personally find her annoying to play against, but that doesn't mean she needs a nerf.
-
A good Myers. The ones that stalk you from a distance startle the ######### out of me.
-
I would say because killers category's intermingle better. Your Hunter and Brutality go hand in hand together really. Malicious is your primary objective so that's easy if you can get hooks. Deviousness is the only one you might struggle with depending on the killer.
Also as @DocOctober pointed out, killer addons are one use. I suggested in the past killers be allowed to keep their addons if they do well enough. 1 pip you keep the cheapest addon. 2 pip you keep both.
-
While I think at times the hostility gets directed at survivors, most realize it's a game design issue. My theory is gens will remain untouched until the first couple of map reworks come out. They plan to rework the safe loops which should lessen chases. Which in turn should alleviate some of the pressure. Whether they stop there or do more is anybody's guess.

I'll still use em to get SOME use out of em...just find it funny that for a 2-3 day event people want to keep going hard when we rarely get these, no matter what your aim is...we all have to contend for the grind, seems silly as ######### to have the mindset to troll, tryhard/ sweat on a small time event when it benefits everyone...this is why we can't have nice things.
Killers super tunneling/camping, Survivors rushing Gens and ignoring saves...etc... I swear at times this community is great...then the lot of ya jus upend that
That's why I won't use them. It should be a time where everyone is chill but it seems to bring out the worst in them.
-
Yeah I refuse to waste offerings during double blood points.

@TheShape78 said:
No...that's not how this game works. You don't "fight" the killer, and for good reason..that's F13. This is a totally different experience ..a more horror driven one. By the way, this is coming from a fan of the F13 films, AND long time player of the F13 game .
Yeah, but fighting the killer was damn fun.
-
It can definitely be painful. It had got to the point I was anchoring teams. I'm mediocre at best and was the one holding ######### together.
-
Just hide everybody's names. Problem solved.
-
I don't. I have this weird thing were I play the game and don't rage about people playing with their friends.

"bunch of points"
Unlocking one teachable is easily done with bloodpoints. Takes one day, with BBQ&C and some puddings it's done in 2 hours.
I will take unlocking teachables with bps in one day playing instead of waiting months over months to get access to perks behind a paywall
Using agitation as an example again I'd have to get trapper to level 40. That's approximately a million blood points to unlock one perk on a killer I don't want to play. So yes, that is a bunch of points. I wish that you could simply unlock any teachable you wanted from the shrine.
-
I disagree with removing perks from the original characters. I might want to use agitation without pumping a bunch of points into trapper.

It’s also in place to stop people finishing the dlc characters hour 1.
I thought it was put in place because people used to hack unlimited blood points.

No because then Dead By Daylight would become the Wild West especially if someone has a gun and someone is the huntress lmao
Honestly that would be funny as hell. Huntress and the survivor in a high noon stand off.
But seriously though, no. While cool, we have enough stun options.

The daily rituals are set up to make you play both sides. If you exclusively play Survivor, more killer dailies will show up.
That's silly. If you don't want to play a particular side they shouldn't try to force you to.
-
It makes me smile to see so many other pig mains.
Survivor is a three way tie between Claudette, Feng, and Dwight.
-
She's just annoying to play against to me.
-
I wish the range was a bit bigger but otherwise this is a great addition.
