Okay that's one of the most ######### up mindsets i have seen on here since i am on this forum.
Because the killer didn't pick the strongest character survivor have the right to BM as they like?
So the other way around when survivor don't swf with comms and use meta perks the killer is free to BM to their hearts content?
Please tell me this is sarcasm i didn't pick on or you are high, because otherwise I have to really question your state of mind.
"The opposition didn't try their hardest so i am free to shittalk them" 🤦 Good riddance, just the idea.
If you play an m1 killer you should not get surprised if you get absolutelly clapped, you asked for it, and regarding the bm, from my experience each time you get dunked on you will get trashtalked and bmd so its a given at this point and ill expect it from anyone who beats me in dbd.
How to avoid getting bmd? Well avoid getting dunked on, get better and start winning.

This thread is so pessimistic and inaccurate that it actually hurts.
Trickster is very hard to master. At a higher mmr, it becomes less about running in a straight line and more about using loop mindgames to land hits with knives. The best part about this is that with knives Trickster will eventually down survivors quicker than having to succumb to delays thanks to pallets. That is one huge advantage Trickster has over other killers.
The downside is that, again, Trickster is *very* hard to master. He's flashy and stylish so of course he's played a lot but since he has a high skill floor you get a lot of layers playing messily.
I recommend watching these three clips to get an idea of what Im talking about:
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTd7y292x/?k=1
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTd7UvmgU/?k=1
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTd7UWoGA/?k=1
This streamer has got to be one of the best Trickster's. As you can see, he got creative with throwing knives to land those 6 hits. To add, he would even take advantage of tiny holes in loops to secure them. It takes practice but with patience and creativity you'll get there in no time!
And to those who are saying he's a bad killer, refer to Otz' tier list. He's not that bad.
All of these clips feature survivors running in a very inneficient way against the trickster, not baiting the knifes even tho he has a certain oatter when he starts throwing, movimg away from hiw wall loops or running them in a way tha guaratees a knife hit per corner, really bad plays from the survivors part.
Everything trickster can do huntress can beat him at it (probably camping in the exception), she can also guarantee more reliable hits, and in regards to otz tierlist I do not consider his opinion to be facts at all specially since doesn't really face good teams on a regular basis.

Not all Killers have a chase Power, Wraith has some good power regardless.
Late game when there are few pallets, Wraith is a beast.
If there are few pallets all gens should be gone, if they are not, that team could have been beaten by a trapless trapper at that point.

what part of getting wiped by an artist in a hold 2 or face a lose lose situation, or on another extreme a slugging nurse for 30 minutes, is any fun?
or on the opposite survivors getting eyrie/game 4 man escape with only 2 hooks, in a match with 500 deadhards and coh while playing an m1 killer. what would honestly be good about the match was it fun? did everyone brought cakes and party streamers?
I mean in the last scenario they deserve it, if you play an m1 killer expect to lose because you choose that when you choose that killer, the survivors dunked on you, they have the right to bm if they desire.
-
Better leave him as he is, bhvr will always manage to make a weak killer worse, look at ghostface, man got nae naed.
Deathslinger is not in a good spot but bhvr can always make it worse.

I agree, even if the PH is great in loops, you can still try to make him miss the punishment of the damned.
if the artist puts a crow in the loop, there's nothing you can do but run.
You can bait her crows, they have a delay when the artist activates them, you run towarss them make the artist be trigger happy and throw them while you dont get injured.

this change would not solve anything, the artist would still be strong in loops.
Put a crow in the loop, even if the crow doesn't deal damage, the survivor would be marked, which means if you put the crow back in, the survivor would take damage, so he would still be forced out of the loop.
Not really as the cooldown for crows will be enough for them to take them off if the artist plans to do that.

Are they long range downs or are they like Pyramid Head but worse downs?
Both, if I see them from afar ill try toinfect and snipe them, if im on a loop ill infect them and down them very similar to ph.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Well said. Artist is a strong Killer, but really unfun to play. And you cannot really blame the Survivors for holding W against her, because this is all they can do once a Crow is placed on a Loop.
As someone who plays artist a lot I think the best change she can get is to not allow crows to damage without you being swarmed first, makes the skill cap go up and not many people will drop her since she is not played a lot, obviously buff probably the cooldowns so that she can use them more often or something else.

Wouldn't really call that reliable or consistent, and even if it's fun it's no where near efficient.
I beg to differ, I actually play a consistent amount of artist and get many shots per match, atm im busy with uni but If I have spare time I can record some footage since I have had a great time and got many crow downs, its sort of delayed pyramid head.

Is there another way to consistently and reliably use birds?
I use them as sort of hatchets, first use one crow to "infect" them then a second one to hit them, and getting hits through walls with artist that way is better than any huntress shot imo.

Best case is they decide to ACTUALLY give us some form of legacy or maybe blighted cosmetics even.
I think it would be cool to get default versions of each cosmetics covered in blight serum as a way to show we were prestige BEFORE the system rework.
Blighted cosmetics are more sunonimous with the halloween event, If i were to make them id make the same spots of previous prestige but instead of cheeto dust make it iridecent, however max well get are some bp and 500 shards if they feel generous.

They confirmed it isn't a charm or cosmetic lol
Exactly thats why I expect a rushed charm when they realize the comunity wants a cosmetic but they have nothing planned, so theyll give away some bp and a charm and say that they added it due to the players wanting a cosmetic, I personally always expect the worst scenario.

I am 100% sure that it wont be Bloodpoints. It would be a very bad move to give Bloodpoints for people who have unlocked so much already and will not really need them due to the grind reduction.
You are expecting way too much from bhvr, watch it be 100k bloodspoints per pretige and a little animated charm.
-
I suppose if you are asking model wise it can be like nemesis tentacle which flatens into a disk inside his hand, but idk if you have experienced this but there is a pretty common bug with spirit in which your sword gets stuck upside down in your hand so maybe the sword gets inverted and compacted.
Lore wise I have no idea.

Ruin is good if you can put on pressure.
blood favor it fantastic on trickster, artist, even plague
Noed can get you a 4k, I've done it many times myself learning a new killer, get absolutely stomped then, then downing everyone
Plaything makes tunneling and catching survivors off guard really easy.
Haunted Grounds punishes survivors for doing a side objective.
Third Seal, Huntress Lullaby, Thrill of the Hunt, and Crowd control I think are kind of bad tho.
Wait, people actually get surprised by plaything?, it literally tells you that you cant hear the terror radious so you are aware 24/7, I dont get how can you get caught offguard, even better if you are on a swf since you call call out the killer's position via comms
-
I find trapper boring for the same reason I find sadako and pig boring, they are not a threat, they just feel like an npc that wont do anything significative and make me go zzzzz....

But in solo queue if you go against A good-Great-God nurse, You have almost no chance, especially without meta perks
Isnt this the same case with swf?

Tbh, who can blame killers for not wanting to play killer? Survivors trash talk and haunt them on their profiles. To tell them what terrible human beings they are, for daring to play killer. Or they tell them to uninstall and play minecraft.
Then, when they actually do as advised...
Getting trashtalked is probably the best part of playing killer fam. Knowing I dunked on them so hard they malding, now if I get trashtalked after getting dunked on...I should have played better honestly and they beated me so I cannot say anything to counter their trashtalk at that point.

With DH? Maybe. But if the survivor is exposed and doesn't have DH, and throw in some crouch mindgames and possibly even some skullduggery using Night Shroud, it's completely possible to outplay them. Especially because many survivors panic after they are exposed without realizing they've been stalked.
You might be right , but how can anyone fall for crouch midgames, when he has the floating stripes and leathery sound that give away where he is, you have to be very distracted to let him hit you.
As I previously stated a good survivor wont fall for any of that or if they are really good will use it against the gf,also if you somehow get downed by gf, why dont just stop healing so you can use dh in the next chase and destroy him?,
Lastly who on earth panics when exposed against an m1 killer?, I mean if it was nurse, spirit, slinger, hag and maybe pinhead on chain hunt, id be scared as they are a thread in chase, however things like pig, ghostface, wraith, sadako and so on are not that scary as I know im in full control of the chase against them unless I mess up real bad, so I dont really panic.
-
@DoritoHead said:

99 the survivor, get close to them, mark and down before they can react. You don't even need to be in stealth to do this. You can walk up to them, chase them normally, tap the power button, and get a hit. If you're getting looped for a solid minute without a hit, I don't care who you're playing as, you really need to focus on improving your chasing.
I firmly believe a good survivor can absolutely dunk on any m1 killer, ghostface not bring the exeption, prob if you 99 and then do it midchase it might be usefull but as I see it any m1 killer is really easily dunked on if the survivor has decent skills.

If you're going on long chases with Ghostface, I'm sorry but you do not know how to play Ghostface.
How? He has nothing, his instadown is not even an issue since he is m1, so even if he marks you any safe loop will absolutely destroy him, looping an m1 killer is one of the easiest things in dbd, you can surely do it for at least a minute and ignore his mark.

When I talk about the game, I talk about your average match, of course Billy is not too effective against people who know how to play against him, but it's so rare to find people who know how to deal with him.
This is true, however billy is a killer that you can absolutely destroy if you are good at dbd, even if the billy olayer is as good as you, hence why I personally do not consider him to be a very powerfull killer, as personally I do not measure characters in videogmaes based on my oponent playing badly, that said if you have fun as billy go for it, also using only bbq is cringe pls equip shadowborn.

I don't think bamboozle is that important on Billy, once you learn how to properly perform 90/90+ degree curves then TL tiles can become pretty unsafe.
I have seen comp billys get absolutely dunked on since good survivors can counter curving pretty concistently, that being said the average player will prob get caught by curves.

My Dream Meta would be...
Killers: Tracking Perks
Survivor: Hiding Perks
Safe Pallets and God Pallets are reduced to Atoms, Hiding is now Meta as Looping is riskier without safe pallets and without 2nd Chance Perks.
Game will be horror themed again I hope with the upcoming meta shake up.
Seeing as many people consider the chases the most fun part of dbd, and devs designing a lot of chase killers, removing chases as the main interaction will make a lot of people quit.

Sadako has a stealth form.
Sadako gets a speedboost from teleporting.
Sadako is easier cause less teleport options.
Anyone with eyes and headphones can counter her stealth, she gets a speedboost yes, after an incredibly telegraphed tp that also tells you where she is coming from so you should realistically never get hit after a tp, and last point is true shes easier.

They aren't really exploits. They are bugs that should be actual features IMO. Curves and sky billy is like the only thing that makes him worth playing.
Thats my point, im trying to prove how clasing them as exploits and taking them away because of that takes away fun aspects of the game.

Dont get me wrong im on your side, sky billy should remain in the game, but its just so funny to watch that man devolve into insanity when the word "hug" is mentioned.

And why he uses a screwdriver and a Knife for mori ?
Ill try to reply the main OPs point and this as well, so according to the lore the dredge is actually the dark fog, which was summoned from dark toughts and sacrifices to the entity, when otto killed the journalist and incited the townspeople, they mauled themselves and killed one another, leaving just a pile of human remains and the tools they used to kill oneanother, now at this point is where the druanee/the dredge is summoned and it uses the remains of ottos followers to make a body for itself, literally dredging the remains, hence the name.
It is a literall dredge of all the bodies it absorbes or kills, and the mori shows it absorbs the survivors, and the hands, skulls and so on are from the initial otto followers who gave it form, hope this can clarify some lore issues.
-
The dredge literally nae naed sadako and is dancing on her grave lmao.

Where's the survivor version of this perk? Make Hexes jump to dull totems automatically.
This is just another unfair mechanic that makes the game rules favor survivor over killer.
Hexes and boons need the same rules.
Wait dont boons actually turn hexes into boon totems and also make them give buff to you? Last I checked boons did that.

Demo?

Of course she needs a nerf, and it should primarily come to her having an actual punishment for her powers. An exhaustion of 1 second whether she's successful or not, whether she missed or not, in exchange for all the broken things she has to her is by far not enough. If you want to have a powerful killer, you need to give her much harsher conditions to work with. You can't have both broken and easy, because might as well play against bots if all you want is a match against yourself.
Ist swf incredibly easy while having the potential to dunk on almost if not all killers?

He can, by having a high dpi or looking up/down and flicking your mouse you can do 180 flicks with oni, pretty cool moves that only very experienced onis can actually do.

You dont understand it. Deathlinger was a lose-lose-situation for survivors. That why he got changed.
And he got absolutelly wrecked, same with billy, I do not trust the devs when they change killers to make them more fun, so Id preffer if legion is untouched because if the devs touch them they are gonna be worse for sure.
-
@Tiufal said:
Is quite hilarious to see killer players complaining about something which they dont even understand in first place. NOBODY is complaining that Legion is OP, too strong or whatever. Its the same issue as before: playing mending simulator is totally annoying and just a waste of time. You can basically play two or three matches against proper killers or playing a single match vs Legion.
I understand it perfectly tho, deathslinger isnt and has never been OP, but people said he was boring (not OP), what did the devs do to solve the problem? They absolutely dunked on him, gave nothing in return and called it a day, so based on previous events I can say that people saying that legion is unfun (which is true mind you) will result in them getting the slinger treatment.
-
Hard disagree half the survivor player I know think the game and badham are incredibly fun and I agree, since having full control of the chase is fun as killer or survivor, thats why probably people who play killer like midwich too.

And Trapper doesn't have any traps right? Since they're all on the ground. 🤣
I mean against people who have played dbd for more than say 50 hours she should not get any kills, what does she have, stealth? You can use spinechill, her lullaby or your eyes, a tp? What dangerous is an m1 killer really? Literally no problem if she tps next to you you are still safe, and lastly condemn, if I have to explain why condemn is bad I dont think im talking to someone who is at least decent at survivor.
Trapper can still get people in chase by corraling or forcing lose-lose situations if the survivor doesnt have dh, not to say he isnt a meme killer but he doesnt depend of people to throw to win.
-
I want to prephase that imo plaything only works against solos as a swf couldnt care less if the killer had a terror radius or not since they can just call out your position, but I think if you are versing solos prob best user could be oni since getting cheeky hits with him leads to giving him bloodfury.

Getting 3ked is different because it can happen from your teams mistakes. If you get hit with DS that is YOUR FAULT because you either committed to them forcing it or you tunneled.
Arent survivors a team, if a team was innefective and gave the killer kills I genuinly see no justification tor the killer to lose points in giving away a free escape, specially if he 3ked them while only using 3 perks since he had NWO.
