why in god's name did bhvr collaborate with ubisoft?

for those who don't know, ubisoft has protected executives who have harassed and assaulted employees for years, they've done basically nothing to change that and this collaboration happened long after the allegations came out.

A former developer at the studio behind Assassin's Creed complained about harassment and never saw it addressed
In a report by Kotaku, several Ubisoft employees have spoken of their frustration with the company in the light of 2020's abuse reports.
Ubisoft’s issues are even bigger than previously thought

i know this is kind of old news (the collaboration i mean, companies protecting sexual abusers should be constantly reminded of how disgusting they and the people responsible are), the collab was months ago and i'm kind of kicking myself for not realizing it sooner but christ bhvr really did work with a company that protects sexual abusers, didn't they.

i mean this is coming from the same company that decided participating in the crypto grift was a good idea and didn't add basic accessibility settings to dbd for literal years so why am i even surprised anymore
