Judging by the other stats, your MMR with survivor is likely much lower so you'd be paired up with similarly ranked killers. There was a post somewhere a while ago where killers that end up resorting to the toxic behaviours are middle of the road in MMR, maybe a bit higher. With the fewer games played, ~15M BP's earned on survivor, etc., that might put you a little outside of that threshold but who knows. Also, the longest chase of 1m15s doesn't suggest you're being hard tunneled now ofc there's other factors like breaking LOS and thus breaking chase. I can confirm that with my own stats since I know I looped a killer maybe around 6-8 months ago for nearly the entirety of the match and my team got all 4 or 5 of the gens done, though my stats still read like 2 minutes. Regardless though, your MMR is probably placing you a bit behind the seriously problematic killers. Realistically, there's just a plethora of factors why your experience might be better than others and of course there is bias in that you're a killer main (based on BP scaling). My escape rate is over 60% as well, but I know that's been declining due to the sheer number of games where there's hard-tunneling/slugging/camping going on. This was not as serious of a problem say a year ago. I would not be exaggerating if I said that 4/5th's of my games are this now. Your experience can and will be different, but it doesn't change the fact that there is a problem and it needs addressing.

we all know mmr is broken lol i do get hardcore tunnelers and sluggers. But i play stealth and i dont make silly mistakes that many people seem to do which leads to them getting tunneled and slugged.

My tactics which doesnt rely on anti tunneling/slugging perks rely on doing gens and avoiding being chased to begin with. If i do get in chase i lose line of sight or go to a loop location where the killer is more likely to abandon chase such. Also when im chase i run AWAY from the gens. the killers know they need to keep gen pressure up so tunneling me when im no where near any gens is not a good move to make. So many people run around near gens or to an unsafe loop, then someone comes up 2 sec later and unhooks when the killer hasnt even had time to get away from the hook…. i dont do that.

My main counter which usually seems to work for me is playing selfishly, if my team are stupid enough to all crowd round the killer trying to get saves and not doing gens then end up all slugged im not going to risk myself for them. Also when my team is no longer needed to do gens and open the gate….im outta there. i dont hang around and play hero like most people do (often leads to the killer pulling off a 4k at the end from nothing when they go for last saves)

IF my mmr is a factor then it makes sense being im soloq so would have lower mmr than swf teams might have, however swf have advantages i dont have so they should be able to withstand the extra pressure of being tunneled and slugged.

Like i said, there are ways to counter these things if people know how and willing to change their style of play which many people are not willing to do that. excuse the pun but people are so hooked on the 1 playstyle of "loop loop loop, gens are boring so i want to chases" they dont seem to adapt.

I don't mind killers taking advantage of strategies that survivors don't like. Like people said, they're not breaking any rules.

My beef is when killers value their winrate over the balance of the game as a whole. (see latest PTB)

Survivors only have 4 perk slots, and there are way more than just 4 pain points in solo queue, even IF each issue would entirely 100% be solved by a single perk… which they aren't.

i refer to my previous post regarding my lack of perks to counter these tactics….

if there are no viable counters to these tactics, how do you explain other people escaping? I currently have 61% escape rate this month so far… last night i had an escape streak of 13 before i lost 2 then i won like another 4.

i dont use any anti tunnel perks, no anti slug, no anti camp perks, im soloq survivor and an average one at that, im by no means an amazing super looper or anything like that. How is it that i can escape over half my matches if there is no counter play to these unbeatable tactics? not only am i escaping but im having fun too.

"Why do I have to continue a match where I am having absolutely no fun just to avoid being penalized?" when the match itself already feels like a penalty.

To answer this question, people should ask themselves "why am i playing a game i simply dont enjoy?" As killer i might not enjoy being looped, it can be boring and tedious but i dont say survivors are toxic for going in a circle instead of from 1 end of the map to another. And i dont put the blame of this boring optimal strat at the feet of the survivors, thats part of the game and if i didnt like it that much i would not play the game anymore.

Except there aren't really viable counters to most of these anymore. Most of the anti-X survivor perks have been gutted to the point they're far from optimal or they have a limit to one use. Once that use has been taken advantage of, there's no counter. Your example of pallets is comparing apples to oranges and I don't really see the relevance. Slugging, tunneling, or camping is primarily behaviour based, not really resorted to as a last-ditch effort once the survivor team has "outplayed" the killer. It seems rather clear that killers will utilize said "tactics" from the get-go, even if no generator is completed. Though on the example of pallets, once that pallet has been destroyed, there's no using it again and that loop is rendered mostly useless, save for the one new TWD chapter perk which is barely (if at all) used. Realistically, there's only a handful of strong pallets in each map anyway. Most are unsafe and it just comes down to winning a 50/50. If a survivor wants to throw every pallet in the map without a gen being done, that only makes it progressively easier for you later on. Also, you can also choose to disengage from the survivor. A survivor can't choose to disengage from a toxic-behaving killer.

It's not all on the killer though. BHVR created this tactic, strategy, behaviour, (whatever you want to call it) and have done nothing to combat it thus far. In fact, they've made it even worse with the anti-"go next" feature. There's ample ways to combat it too that work universally between survivor and killer. Similar to your comment or point about "approval" of how someone plays the game, a lot of people make the comment about how "I can play how I want" or "this is how I have fun, I don't care if you have fun or not". With the addition of bots, there's no need for a survivor or killer player to receive a D/C penalty for a game they join to have fun if they feel the other player(s) is/are being toxic or what have you. (Yes, I realize that if a killer disconnects, no bot is added, but BHVR has this implemented in 2v8 that the concept isn't foreign and could be implemented.).

So TL;DR, you cannot give up or D/C without a penalty. BHVR needs to address toxic behaviour from both sides. Thus, the question or comment for BHVR really should instead be rephrased to "Why do I have to continue a match where I am having absolutely no fun just to avoid being penalized?" when the match itself already feels like a penalty.

if there are no viable counters to these tactics, how do you explain other people escaping? I currently have 61% escape rate this month so far… last night i had an escape streak of 13 before i lost 2 then i won like another 4.

Whether it's offering bonus bloodpoints for lesser-played killers, some type of priority queue if people choose to pick a certain killer… I don't know. But going against the same four-ish killers over and over again is monotonous and makes the game boring as hell.

Has anything ever been tried to incentivize more variety in who people choose to play?

there used to be daily challenges that were random, such as play huntress but to be honest people want to play killers they can win with. no amount of BP will get people to play killers they are not used to playing with to then get swf squads followed by abuse after the match "baby killer" "EZ" "learn to play"

they only real incentive to play different killers is to even them out so its not such a drastic change in tier, like ghoul, nurse and blight v trapper, wraith and rework myers. The tier difference is too much for people to actually want to play weaker killers.

I’m unable to improve as a survivor in Dead by Daylight. I keep watching people on YouTube or Twitch who seem to play effortlessly well, and it frustrates me a lot. I don’t know how to make decisions about when to stay in a structure or when to leave, and I struggle to recognize each map’s structures. I have about 3,000 hours, almost all as a survivor (I started playing killer in November 2024). I never play SWF, always SoloQ (I understand this is important, but it shouldn’t be decisive for improving my individual skill). I know and use the looping techniques we all know: hugging structures, keeping distance from the killer, going full W, tanking for teammates, trying to play each structure well... But NOTHING, I struggle immensely to improve.

As a survivor, I have better and worse days, but I never feel like I’m actually improving. I don’t know what to do to level up. It’s very frustrating...

by you struggle to improve, do you mean you struggle to escape?

if you're a survivor and go up against a camping, slugging and tunneling killer behaving this way early on in a match, let's normalize blocking them. Eventually they'll run out of survivors to go up against, assuming behavior does match you up against who've you've blocked. Maybe, just maybe.... They'll stop normalizing that type of game play. For all you killers who play this way..... If you feel the need to comment on this post to defend yourself, then so be it. People want to enjoy their game play and have the chance to improve. If we are repeatedly getting grieved by a toxic killer, it ruins the fun. It's then just a waste of time. I understand if you're down to the last couple of gens and one wants to play like that, it can be a strategy and form of game play.... But at 5 gens? Come on, no one likes to be griefed to the point of not being able to get any points or do anything in a match.

or learn to counter it? apparently its toxic to play the game in a way that you dont approve of. maybe i dont approve of people using pallets? that make them toxic because i find being stunned or going in a circle boring?

the killers that use tactics are playing the game, they are not doing anything against the rules, they are not griefing. Not everything is toxic and griefing just because you dont approve of it and you dont find it fun.

I like how killers complain the wait times are so long and then complain its too hard to play as the killer. The reason why there is long wait times for killer no one wants to play as survivor unless you play SWF. Solo Q have little to zero counter play against S tier killers.

firstly my killer q is fine, it dont take long to get a match

secondly, i been playing soloq 95% of the time the past 2 months and im doing ok, im not amazing at the game and im not in swf….

Dbd used to be so much fun. I've never been good at looping but have always enjoyed the game. I'm extremely stealthy and use that to my advantage. The last few weeks I have been hard pressed to find a match where the killers weren't camping, slugging and tunneling at 5 gens. You bring party streamer into the match, but get tunneled out of ever game before you can get any points. I know some would tell me that I need to get better at the game and I do, but without something being done about the toxic gameplay, how do I get the chance? How do new players learn? If we normalize this type of killer gameplay, it ruins the game for everyone. Is there a balance? Someone please find one. I've been playing for a little over a year and miss all the personalities of the killers. Now every match seems to be the same. I don't see dbd having much of a future if this continues. I've heard so many others complaining about the same things. I game to release real life stress. Lately, dbd has been amplifying it. I usually enjoy playing dbd because I love horror and a good jump scare, but that's being negated by the toxicity of camping, slugging and tunneling. I understand slugging can be a strategy and if it wasn't being done at 5 gens, I wouldn't have an issue with that particular style of gameplay.

interesting you aim this at the killers. in my experience as survivor, toxic gameplay from killers isnt the issue. the issue is my own team that refuses to touch gens, goes down in seconds, throws the match, body blocking their own team mates. This is the main issue, not killers simply doing what they are supposed to do (kill).

If your looking for jump scares and an actual horror experience then i wouldnt suggest dbd. Dbd is becoming a high speed, intense, action packed mess where killer fly across the map in seconds and survivors are always in chase (which is what survivors want…interaction with the killer).

That being said, i play stealth survivor, it seems to work for me….often at the expense of my team but i have fun sneaking around doing gens on the sly moving around like a ghost. As long as you dont care about p***ing off your team by playing selfishly then stealth gameplay is still a possibility.

  • @Cassiopeiae said:

Every trial consists of five players, and four of them are survivors, that alone explains why event objectives get completed so quickly.

As for the claim that fewer people are playing survivor, the queue times speak for themselves: survivors get matches in seconds, while killers are left waiting five minutes or more. The numbers don’t lie.

my killer q times dont take that long to be fair, maybe 1 min at most. survivorq is about 20 seconds roughly. really not that much in it.

  • @AdamZ said:

To be more precise im dissapointend in his jumpscare aspect or lack there of, everything else is pretty good.

What pisses me off the most is that he is supposed to be THE jumpscare killer yet he does so little with it.

So here is my solution :

Make a new jumpscare animation for the animatronic whenever he grabs a survivor off of generators, lockers, vaults, kinda like when he grabs a survivor that has an axe in em and scream at em.

But to actually grab someone as springtrap he needs to have quiter steps, bc as of rn u can hear him comin a mile away, in exchange when survivors reveal his aura it will last twice as long as it is now.

Giving more incentive for survivors to use the cams, and it also just makes the game more fun against springtrap.

if he has quieter steps he becomes the ultimate jump scare killer, travel the map with ease and have range attacks. thats called way op. if he has quieter steps, something has to give…maybe remove the axe? at that point we talking about a whole different killer lol. can you imagine myers with teleport ability and a range attack that can hit over walls and pallets and be super stealthy? fun to play as maybe but still op imo.

  • @Emeal said:

Well Myers is specifically better than other Dash attacks, because he is still a setup Killer. Has to stalk to gain his dash.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4009755#Comment_4009755

And all your other team-mates Survived? Then MMR must be more inaccurate than we anticipated.

pretty much almost every match has been 3 man out the gates. i think 2 matches i was the sole survivor which were both on indoor maps and 1 or 2 matches myers had 2k but vast majority have been easy 3 man escape with myers getting 1 or 2 hooks by the time 3 gens are already done.

people know to just time a pallet drop to stun myers when he dashes which makes his dash and pallet break useless. he has no anti loop, hes slow as hell, gives multiple warnings when hes tiering up, pallet density has increased which means even if myers breaks pallets there usually another one near by or a vault and when he does tier up to max it only lasts 40 secs which isnt that long….sprint burst to a loop, drop pallet, run to vault, run to loop, drop pallet oh look 40 sec is up and 3 gens are already half way done

  • i used to main myers but i might just main my 2nd guy….pyramid head. decent anti loop and not that bad at tunneling.

  • this actually made me chuckle a little bit. someone saying rework myers should be nerfed?! i have still not lost a single match as survivor v a rework myers and im not a great survivor. there is no other killer so far that i can make that statement about. can i maintain this win streak v myers or will i lose it before or after he gets buffed? remains to be seen

I was thinking about this the other day, and I came to the conclusion that some people HATE playing dbd. But for a multitude of reasons, they play it anyway. And they decide that if the game is miserable, they're going to "make it fun in their own way." And yes, that could include ratting out their teammates while having a good time with the killer. Other people are angry powder kegs, just waiting to go off. You'll never know what set them off, maybe you didn't go in for the unhook fast enough or accidentally ran by them while the killer was chasing you. But now they're gonna "become besties with the killer" to get even for whatever wrongs they believe you or somebody else did them in the match.

or they are just trying escape like any other survivor? true some people dont really like the game but there is no alternative at the moment as other asymmetrical games have died so they could be making the best of a bad situation by making do with whats available? while there are some obvious trolls and griefers around, i think some people are just doing what they can to survive. It just so happens that what 1 person might be doing what they can to survive and escape wont have the same plan or same method as a random person they are teamed with. 1 might be trying to do gens to get that gate open, 1 might be trying for hatch (there are hatch challenges in the game) 1 might be trying to meme, 1 might be going for adept…cant please everyone

Except for the person on the hook.

Oh, also everyone else if they have DMS.

Oh, also if they have Grim Embrace.

Oh, also if they have Pain Res…

pain res works on 1 gen for each new hooked survivor and must be on a scourged hook. if the killer camps after hooking then the effect of pain res is meaningless because the survivor can just repair.

grim embrace requires the killer to get multiple hooks to block them for any long periods of time and requires the killer to leave the hook area just to get a tiny 10sec block. if the killer is getting multiple hooks they are either not camping or the survivors are misplaying by running to save instead of doing gens.

DMS applies to only 1 gen and thats if they stop repairing….and its only 35 seconds….maybe move to another gen if thats too long?

keep in mind the killer is CAMPING in this scenario therefor not patroling gens and not chasing. even if all these were triggerd survivors have plenty of time to crank out gens. is it fun for the survivor on hook? probably not, but being hooked is part of the game and always has been so if you get bored being hook maybe play another game untill dbd changes the hooks mechanic? bottom line is, if killers camped hard and survivors worked on gens, the killer would likely end up with 1k or 2k at best.

What region are you in? I'm North America and I really don't see her very often. When I've played as her I haven't seen many DCs. The last one I got was ironically during a match where I was mainly playing her as an M1 killer and staying in her human form for a majority of that particular match.

Uk for me, the frequency of the killer appearing in my survivor matches does seem less frequent the past couple days but as soon as people see its krasue, they instantly give up/go next/DC. people even say in pre match lobby chat they will go next if its krasue and everyone in the lobbies usually reply with "fair" "based" "same" or "understandable"

Nah, running up and selling your teammate out is totally different from getting the killer to spare you through bardic imo. I'm referring to active survivor betrayal, just because your mate needs to die to escape doesn't mean you should get them killed.

In my experience at least, I've often seen killers strike down a survivor for selling the other one out. The bro code has been alive and well in the well in the realm of the Entity

dunno what to tell you, earlier i was on hook…. other guy was in the corner hiding. killer camped me so i unhooked and went straight to the other survivor…..did i rat him out? or did i just want to be healed and the killer happened to follow me? jury is out on that one lol i escaped, they didnt.

  • @Ted said:

Already lost? I still have to find the Hatch and get to it!!!! but ooohhh I may get there before you.. So if we both already lost what's the point of prolonging the game. Just give me the option to abandon when there are only two players left then. You really want to win that way? Let's just take all of the Stealth out of the game altogether. Have one map with a big field and no trees, buildings or anything else. Just start the countdown with two players left.

your objective is do gens and the gate….not the hatch. WHEN the hatch is available THEN it becomes your objective. thats why survivors shouldnt rat the whole game and then use hatch as means to justify it by saying "my objective is escape via hatch".

to answer your question, both have lost, there is no point prolonging the game, no point doing gens. accept the lose and move on. if you refuse to accept this lose and still want the hatch and prepared to throw the other player under the bus to get it by not helping them then just be prepared for them to try doing the same to you.

  • @ArkInk said:

If there are two survs left and it's clear the gens aren't being done, I don't see what else you're really expected to do except rat for hatch.

Selling out teammates is just lame, I'd rather try to to go down in a spot where the killer has to spend time walking back so the last survivor has a bit more of a chance.

when 2 survivors are left, clearly both have lost and acknowledge that so they wont do gens…. at that point its every man for themselves. 1 will throw the other under the bus so they can get hatch….the one being thrown under the bus may hope to escape via playing a lovely bardic tune for the killer so they spare them and go for the other instead, many have actually said killers seem to let these survivors escape. it works both ways, both want the other to die first. cant complain about 1 but then do the other yourself

You're 100 percent right Jog_Og. These players are sore losers and ruin the game. yeah, I'm going to work on a gen with two players left so the killer can come grab me instead? My Teamate could be injured? Really? I wouldn't know that? Sucks to be them. Most of the time they are lying on the ground while the killer watches them crawl right towards you. Then the killer picks them up and they run right at you. Worst players in the game. DBD need to address this. That's what you get for taking away the hatch with two players left. Bring it back or have two hatches with one as a decoy. As soon as it gets down to two players the game sucks.

the hud tells you if they are injured lol you have to see it both ways, a survivor that loses that match is willing to hide for hatch….another survivor that loses the match could accidently lead the killer to you while in chase….

give hatch with 2 players left? for survivors that lost but still escape? or how about we change hatch to sacrifice pit and the survivors can jump in when they feel they lost and they get sacrificed. stop with the "let me win after i just lost" thing lol

What on Earth are you talking about now? The games over then, the killer is just gonna patrol gens looking for one of the two. When I play killer that's exactly what I do because I know the fun is over and I'm ready for another match. You aren't gonna get reported for looking for a way out in a losing game.

you just admitted defeat by saying the game is over, killer won. so just do gens and if you die you die. But you have just admitted defeat yet still willing to rat for hatch?

you can be reported for avoiding gens for a long time as it doesnt progress the match. this has been confirmed many times. survivors have remained hidden for up to an hour hoping the other dies first, this means the match cant progress because gens are not being done and killer cant find survivors.

So I can't blame them if they're being an ######### and teaming with the killer? That doesn't make any sense.

if your hiding for the hatch, your team mate could be injured looking to be healed.

its actually considered a reportable offense to hide for a prolonged period while avoiding gens.

In the games where I ratted, the vast majority most of them were when there was two of us left. I never throw games to rat.

doesnt matter how many are left, if there are gens to be done, do them, if your team mate needs help, help them. you can play for yourself if you want, i do all the time but you cant blame them for ratting you out hoping the killer will have mercy on them

This feature would let players try killers before buying, making it easier to see which one fits their gameplay. It could work in a practice mode with bots, just to test powers and movement.

good idea in theory but pointless when the devs can and often do change killers. look at myers, i could have tested, liked that killer then a month later he gets reworked i hate it.

I'm not interested in having conversations with killer mains pretending to know how bad solo q really is. Its just the same ######### out their mouths. Bypassing 8 hook states is never fair. Killer can just run any aura perk injure injure injure injure then slug partner tried to save the slug hit 2 slugs killer camps hits next slug. Win. Its almost every match because killers know they have to save because a player out makes the game way harder.

firstly survivors can bypass gens and gates to escape via hatch

secondly slug timer is 4min which is longer than the entire hook timer so its not bypassing the hooks. i mean hooks could be seen as bypassing the 4min timer of bleeding someone out.

thirdly, for over 2 months now i have barely touched killer i have been soloq player 95% of the time. so i wouldnt say im killer main at the moment. there are people that play both sides, not everyone is strictly killer main or survivor main.

fourthly, tunneling to take someone out benefits the killer, its fast, it makes sense. camping a slug for 4min can be a pretty stupid decision for the killer if survivors did gens. think how many gens 3 survivors can do in 4min. so if players are thinking they need to save the slug or its game over thats their mistake. they have 4 whole min, use it.

as previously stated, i have 60% escape rate this month so far with over 32 hours in matches. hardly killer main pretending to know how hard soloq is lol. any counter argument? maybe im a killer main that falsified my screenshot?

Highly doubt it. Theres no counterplay in solo q without coms and slugging happens almost every match. Its the win button.

i mean you can doubt but i can show my escape rate (over 55%) even my last 10 matches i escaped 5/10. if its as big of a "win" button as you claim and happens almost every match as you claim then how do you explain my ability to survive these slugging tactics?

every argument you have suggested i have provided a reasonable counter argument, but you have failed to provide a counter argument for why players cant use TR as an indicator where the killer is camping. Even if killer is stealth there are perks to provide aura reading on the killers location.

  • gaming and movies are my hobbies, not books. i enjoy playing the game and i would give a movie a go but i would not be interested in reading it.

No communication for solo=no way of knowing who the killers camping.

terror radius is a dead give away, if 2 survivors are on each end of the map and you see TR near 1 slug then chances are hes not camping the other. im soloq and i have countered slugging killers many time without coms. sometimes i heal them if killer isnt camping. if they are camping i knock out gens. if im slugged i crawl out of the way of gens so the killer has a fair distance to go if they decide to no longer camp and actually defend gens. there are counters no matter what way you try to slice it

Right….why didn't i think of that? Give me a break…Killer just camps the body most times.

which bring me back to my point of why survivors are not doing gens while killer is camping. if its 1 slug the killer is camping it will take 4 min to bleed out. if survivors choose to neglect gens and try to go for the save thats a misplay. if there are more than 1 slugged, the killer cant camp 2 places at once so spread out and save the one the killer isnt camping.

  • myers B tier? no lol… hes D tier 100% i have actually been killed by ghostface, knight, bubba and many others but NEVER been killed by a rework myers.

  • true, but im soloq player and dont have coms. you dont need coms to spread out when slugged, the aura read is there to show people where each slug is and the hud shows each players recovery status. coms do help, but they are not needed when all the info you need is already there. its up to the players to use this info.

  • the team is the counter. thats like saying there is no counter to being hooked, your team is the counter, your team need to unhook you like they need to heal you.

Maybe you guys have a different experience, but I haven't seen this killer since day 2 of her release. Did the community just collectively agree she was too broken and don't want to play her anymore?

possibly. i know from well over 40 matches the past few days every single krasue match has seen atleast 1 survivor going next with the rest of team following suit. if no one is playing the new killer then it could be due to the killers not being able to play a full match ever.

  • i got myers to p100 a couple years ago, spent hundreds of hours playing him and maining him. since rework i have played myers maybe 10 matches? i have no intention playing him again any time soon, there are far stronger and more fun killers to play as.

Rework myers is awful to play as and easy to play against. slaughter strike is easily nullified by timing a pallet drop to stun myers. and with the extra pallets they added the pallet break from slaughter strike means nothing because i can just run to another pallet before he catches me. my escape rate v myers is literally 100% at the moment, i have never been killed by rework myers and most of my matches has been 3man escapes

You can go from being completely dominated by survivors to 4k with just slugging and camping. Thats how broken it is.

thats mostly due to team misplay. if no one doing gens while killer is camping for example. Even slugging is misplay, there has to be something wrong with the team if the killer is able down 1 survivor, find another survivor, down them, then find another and down them, then find the last survivor before the 1st person can be healed. there are counter plays, people just refuse to do them.

I mean, I don't get offended by crap, but sites have rules you need to follow. If you want to post images like what I've been told, go to 4Chan, Reddit or Twitter or something.

break the rules and get banned. not sure what more can be done other than someone passing everything before its posted, images, text the lot which then we start getting into a police state where every little thing has to be approved. these forums are pretty ban happy as it is, you dont even need to do anything to get banned on here.

As everyone is already aware, krasue contests the top place in tier lists right now so it's very clear she is getting hammered in a hotfix sooner or later and believe it or not, at the point there are loops in which she has to swap to body form and kick; she is COOKED, borderline unplayable. So hopefully she doesn't get to that point.

I played a handful of survivor matches against her and I think she mainly needs nerfs to her headfirst flight and her head form FOV. Like, compare her non-existent post-flight cooldown to Vecna's, it's just crazy. Oh and of course survivors need to be cleansed of leech after getting unhooked. But any severe nerfs to her actual chase strength would cripple her to the point of unplayability.

the main thing that needs to be nerfed is the auto aim. killers are literally spamming the attack knowing it will home in on a nearby survivor. dont even need to find them, just vomit blood randomly and if someone near it will hit.

as far as i can tell the counter was supposed to be "dont get infected" but thats impossible when the attack to infect people has auto aim and cant miss.

  • am i the only one that just doesnt get offended by what random people say or post on the internet? people are not pleasant creatures, we all know this….or should know this.

  • im not doubting it works, just strange that it does work lol maybe i will combine this with my hatch escapes to get even higher escape rate, at this rate who needs gens?

MMR works in a way that if you are the only one who escapes, you recieve less MMR than if the whole team escapes.
Same is true if you're the only one to die, you will lose less MMR than if the whole team dies.

And no, you do not personally get to decide what is considered a win, and then demand balancing around your definition. You can decide for yourself "I consider this a win" and "I consider this a loss". But if you're like "why do survivors get a win option because I consider hatch escape a win, but killer doesnt get a win option because I consider a guaranteed 1k a loss", despite them basically being equals long term. In that case I could be like "I got 0 hooks, 0 kills, but survivors didnt grab the item from the basement, I consider that a win" and then demand changes in balancing when survivors manage to grab the item from the basement chest.

You're basically saying your whole argument is moot, because it relies on your personal definitions. Not actual things applied in the game. What matters there is that your MMR raises significantly more if you force 4k's by slugging to deny hatch, and that affects you negatively because you get to face more and more players that are better than you faster and "forces" you to tunnel and slug even more. Survivors who escape through hatch, dont have their MMR rise at all. They could go 1000 matches in a row and get hatch, and despite "winning" by your definition, they will face the same caliber of killers. Yet if you tunnel and slug hardcore to the point that you start facing people who are more and more cooperative and have communication, why demand a nerf to their aspects, when you've been brute forcing more kills than you should have?

Its why I am 100% on the point where killer mains have an ego that mix players and survivor mains dont have. And in 90% of the cases, if I face a mix player on my MMR, they are 10x better than the average killer main on my MMR, because the mix players know its actually a good thing to lose some games.

um yes i do get to personally decide what its a win, if i escape i consider that a win. some killers consider 12 hooks and 0 kills a win. some dont. no where in the game does it say "win" or "lose" after a match, your criteria of win and lose is based on mmr which no one can see, no one cares about and lets be honest no one can agree even works based on new players going against players with over 2k hours in the game. Your entire mmr argument is flawed based on this alone.

You said it yourself "less mmr" is gained if im the only one to escape…..so i do gain mmr just not as much. same as if killer got 3k, they would gain mmr but not as much as if they got 4k. You have just proven my point that 1 escaping is considered a win even in mmr terms. Hatch maintains mmr, its neutral so i can get hatch 5 matches in a row, maintain my mmr then be the only 1 to escape through gates, gain a little mmr….then get hatch a few times to keep it steady then escape through gates. you will find i will gain mmr slowly by preventing myself from dying which is a win. do i need to loop the killer and show skill to achieve this? no. i often leave my team mates behind while i walk out the gates lol. easy win, easy climb through the mmr ranks much like tunneling is artificially raising mmr?

The games challenges even include "escape via hatch" and has hatch offerings. it makes no sense to call hatch a loss if it achieves a goal, it even awards BP. for your argument to make any sense at all the hatch would need to be called a sacrifice pit where survivors die, get no challanges done, dont get any BP.

as for tunneling, i tunnel hardcore AFTER i started getting swat swf teams on coms. when i started getting these teams i started tunneling and it turned my matches into reasonably balanced matches. i dont demand nerfs to their aspects because i struggle against them, i have only suggested nerfs the swf to put solo in line with swf a little more and then people can nerf tunneling. but as it stands i dont have an issue with swf and tunneling.
