I got Coup & Oppression on mine; no sign of Hoarder when I want it.

Coup is actually kinda good on him, you should try it

  • @glitchboi said:

I can't believe Hoarder has actually went from a gimmick perk to an ultra meta perk feared by the best of survivors.

This has to be one of the funniest things thats ever happened in DBD

  • @BingBongMan said:

The perks cover his weakness of not being able to know where the box is. It's only natural survivors would be peeved that pinhead can now do something about them.

Its like they want me to run more slowdown perks lol

  • @PureDoctorMain said:

I just gotta get used to him I think. As a console player its rough cause you can just spin or do anything else quickly to get away but still I think I can get it.

Im a ps4 player and ive constantly played him since release, just gotta learn your angles and timing, and also how to use his power in the first place

  • @Rivyn said:

Didn't he cause the server to crash? I know I don't use him due to that experience.

    They fixed that

  • @EvilJoshy said:

Haven't played against him yet but he is fun to play now that I know how to use his chains. Hoarder is amazing on him! I literally unlocked the twins just for this perk and it was worth it. Though I used shards. The Twins aren't worth dollars IMO.

What makes hoarder so good on him? I roll with franklins but never saw the point in hoarder

  • @The_BiggCheeze said:

Like come on we ALL agreed on what he needed and you blatantly disregarded it. All he needed was bug fixes and for his chains to hold on a half second longer, and yet here he is feeling the EXACT SAME as he did on PTB.

Hell you didn't even fix that his teleport can be abused.

Come on he was SO CLOSE to being perfect and you threw it away.

Edit: Before you say that I'm the problem, I have no problem against these types of survivor as any other killer.

This happens every chapter. Give him some time

  • @Jivetalkin13 said:

Based on lore and in game powers, who would win in a fight to the death? Also, this is assuming it's the 4 members of the Legion vs the Deathslinger.

Is this in the entities realm or the real world

It's not a full 360, you do have to sort of aim near them. If that's not working, what about waiting it out to see if they run away from your body and back I to your FoV? You don't have to Rush instantly.

Knowing that its not a full 360 actually helps alot, ill try your advice, thank you!

  • @MadLordJack said:

You can ways double tap. That's when you rush and swing at the same time. At the start of a Lethal Rush, Blight has a huge hit cone just to punish players trying that.

Yea, ive been trying to utilize his nutty hitbox but i cant ever get it to work. I remember a guide teaching about the 360 hitbox blight has at the beginning of his swing, but i havent been able to properly utilize it

  • @milwaukee354 said:

As the title says, i hate losing to killers i know i can beat, we literally just lost to a kid who faked a farm at the end, I'm knowing the way he played and the reason for faking a farm might be because the killer has lost a few times, but losing because of a fake farm and losing because the game mechanics makes using certain killers very easy, it's like why lol

Just dont farm, its boring anyways

  • @Renjiro said:

The pleague is quite balanced in my opinion. And she's also a very uniqe killer. But why does no one play her?

I don't really play her and she's a very rare killer to face. What is wrong with her playstyle? It's just really weird to me.

I mean, I get why alot of people don't play twins. Becouse they have such a bad Reputation.

Most people are saying hitboxes, but i just think its due to how hard she is to play

  • @Brokenbones said:

The quick way to counter this, is to not swing and instead try to bump into an object close by

Then you can use the 'slam' to re-direct yourself and get the hit

I see Blights do this a lot.

Ive tried it before, but all they have to do is book it around a corner

  • Taking the roar out is also something he needs

  • @danielmaster87 said:

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the killer skins from the Hallowed Blight Collection, and other skins that have the syringe in the killer's back which has caused them to become blighted versions of themselves. King of the Hooks, Seeping Hollow, Servant of the Serum, True Blight, etc. They become available to buy with shards every October, right? Or is that not the case?

Anyway, I really like the way these skins look, and we've gotten more and more of them over time. They look even better after the visual updates, which improved the detail on most survivor/killer skins across the board. We even got Scorched Ghost Face, his blighted skin, which I have to applaud whoever's in charge of licensing agreements for making that happen. We're probably not gonna be getting anymore licensed blighted skins.

But we're still missing a few blighted skins for the DBD-original killers. Oni, Deathslinger, Twins, and Trickster. If the devs can't give us a blighted Victor, that's fine because he's technically a killer power and can't be customized for that reason. But the others already look cool and would look even cooler with blighted skins. A few survivors also have cosmetics with blighted serum on them, but I'll leave you survivor skin optimists to have that discussion another time.

C'mon BHVR. Can we make it happen? Updating the legacy of blighted cosmetics? The cosmetic team has knocked the previous skins out of the park, and I know they can do it again.

Now that Blight is out theyll probably try something new..... probably

They "aknowledged" it and promised some fixes. Dh on tuesday if I am not mistaken. Other things later.

I don't believe anything until I see some results.

Its been 3 months, its great theyre fixing dead hard, how about everything else? Its actually inexcusable given the amount of time the game has been broke for

  • It is unacceptable that the game is like this and ive had entire matches lost because of this, Hopefully the DH thing actually gets fixed next patch.

  • I mean there is only 1 killer people would consider attractive so i dont get the point of the post.

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2469067#Comment_2469067

Performance was on the bottom of the announcement. So they're definitely working on improving it.

Yea, theyll be done in 3 years

  • Maybe take a break from it? What would you suggest that would make the game less "stale and dull"

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

It is not overrated IMO, it is a strong Perk. However, it does almost nothing against tunneling, it would be nice if they would increase the Anti-Tunnel aspect of the Perk. Killers like to call it that way, but it is no Anti-Tunnel Perk currently.

Something like no Scratchmarks, Blood, Grunts of Pain for like 10 seconds after the stun would be nice. Or a slower timer while in Chase. Things that actually work against tunneling, if my timer runs out while I am getting chased, I still got tunneled.

And the first idea would make it harder for the strong Killers to locate a Survivor.

It is Anti tunnel and goes beyond that. If the killer really insists on chasing after stun they leave 3 survivors on gens and basically throw the entire match. If you get smart about it, you can even use it to bail team mates out of chases, taking a more offensive approach with the perk. As is, i think it is perfect

  • @Tsulan said:

    Pretty good job, so far.

    I´m looking forward to 5.2.0

Im cool with it, but they should fix performance first, most of my "losses" come from the terrible lag spikes that constantly happen

  • @vacaman said:

In a single match i've got a hit through a pallet 3 times and saw the survivor down but the game decides that nah, let's give him another chance. I don't know what hit validation have they changed in this patch but AT LEAST don't show on my screen that i have downed the survivor for instants later have him be up again not only making me frustrated but losing chase distance because i thought he was down. Now you don't only get robbed of grabs, you apparently get robbed of hits too.

Imo its complete bs and performance issue shouldve been the main focus of the update

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

Blight actually has a very cool game mechanic, and has decent interaction in chase. However, I hate going against this killer because literally every Blight uses the same build.

Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer + BBQ/Devour rinse and repeat on every Blight. No other killer has such predictable perks when you load into a game with them. I get that against SWF it’s fair game, but against solo survivors, this is literally DBD on easy mode. Especially when you factor in Blight’s absurd recharge rates with his add ons, it leaves very little room for error, and using this combo turns him from a fairly challenging killer to use, to one of the easiest in the game. It just makes facing blight really dull, as you know exactly what you’re getting into.

I can’t be the only one who despises going against Blight for the aforementioned reasons.

With all of the bugs with blight, i honestly dont blame them for running the meta

  • They should just give spirit nurse treatment and make her hard to play, while not nerfing her overall strength

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

So Blight had significant fixes and changes to his base kit and add ons since his release (bugs still need to be addressed), and Hex: Undying got a much deserved, and fair nerf.

But why have the devs not looked over Dragon’s Grip, or Hex: Blood Favour?

Personally, Dragon’s Grip probably doesn’t need changes, but I’m astonished that SOMETHING hasn’t been changed about Blood Favour. I don’t think it’s as weak as many claim, but it certainly isn’t useful in most cases it activates in many maps.

Could it be that because it may be used so infrequently that they simply don’t have enough data to make balancing decisions on Blood Favour?

Id say scrap blood favor and make it something completely different, as i cant even think of a way to buff it without making it too oppressive, dragons grip just needs a cooldown change because as it stands, the cooldown can be up to 110 seconds, which just doesnt make it worth running

  • @Ruma said:

For real.. Is there a difference? Besides the skin for David and.. Uh i think it was wraith?

Litteraly no one will use them, just like no one used the ones from the last year. Crowns also rarely got used and all they did is they added a bit more yellow i guess?

Didnt they said they want to stop doing other evens to focus on the big ones like halloween or anniversary? I cant see work here. Only recycled stuff.

    Hmm.

You can tell how much effort was put in because they added an anniversary toolbox

  • @DelsKibara said:

Like I said in another thread.

    Extended and MORE cakes.

Also maybe a double BP event.

Haven't seen that in ######### forever.

Exactly, i remember last year they gave us an extension and blood rush to compensate, but for what we have here, it should be 2 extra weeks with double bp and extra event items in the web to compensate

Ah yes, and the guy who can shoot an attack through walls and MUCH further than nemesis is completely fine.

Pyramid head's attack is better in essentially every way, and he comes with range addons.

Except that pheads is harder to hit and more punishing if you miss, of course it should be more powerful

  • @iTz_KilLaZ_x said:

I don't know if this idea has been mentioned but why not give Nemesis two addons that increase his tentacle strike range? I know tier 3 increases his range but it only increases by one single meter. It's not like Nemesis is OP or very strong to begin with. He already has flaws, like how infecting a survivor does not do anything right away and still grants them a speed boost as if they took damage, etc.

I think a yellow and green range add on would be good. Make the yellow give like an extra 2m and the green 4m? Even just yellow being 1 extra m and green giving 2m sounds nice. What do you guys think?

That one extra meter from tier 3 is game changing, itd be broken if he had range add ons

For me, I had a friend constantly nag me into getting this game and I always said no.

I then decided to give it a shot and just fell in love with it.

XxSomsthxX was their name, unfortunately they quit playing dbd a long time ago, refused to touch it again.

Certainly was an experience I wasn't prepared for haha

Ahhh, but it was a fun one.

Know this though, even though the game is in a rough spot, it's still an enjoyable one

Even though some decisions have been rather..odd, I'm still incredibly hopeful for the future.

I saw Pewdiepie play it back before it came out, then it came to ps+ 3 yrs ago and figured id give it a try.

Pretty much the title. I just played a game where me and a random (the Dwight), both had adrenaline. Turns out however, that the 50% haste status effect just decided to be PERMANENT.

And before you ask, yes, I did have a lot of fun zooming around the map.

    https://youtu.be/EUOQDNzu8-g

This is actually the return of an earlier bug from around the time slinger release, no surprise they somehow managed to bring it back.

  • @HATCH said:

İ Just Wonder that they nerfed The bottles. İm a clown main and its obivous that something is wrong with purple bottles. They are Just making survivors scream with very delayed and short slowdown. İn The power info it says that when you hit a survivor directly with a bottle they cant Fast vault for 2 seconds. But they can. (im playing without addons btw)

Its because clown is on the same level as pre nerf pig, he needs to be nerfed!!

  • @DanielPaint said:

I want to prestige David someday and now I I'm thinking if it's better to level up a lvl 50 survivor or leveling up a survivor from lvl 1

In which case will I get more cakes and event items?

If you really wanna farm, go play lots of doctor with bbq equipped, you could 0k and still get around 30k with him

  • @Ruma said:

I think they once said they had a 7 year plan for DBD. Now 5 years are over.

Do you think they changed their plans and go beyond 7 years?

tbh i would make me really sad if they stop supporting DBD in 2 years.

If they abandoned dbd they would be sinking the entire company, its safe to say its sticking around for a long time

  • @DrFruityLoops said:

This was a thing we saw in the PTB and I assumed it was a bug however now that he is on live and seeing that he still has it I will somewhat assume it is maybe not a bug.

I dont see how BHVR takes a character who falls in the skillshot lineup with a shot charge time of 0.35 seconds and give him a solid and easy way to get hits when your width can be the size of 2 PHead shots.

    BHVR please do explain

for reference what it looks like: https://streamable.com/2mssi9

    No but seriously BHVR explain.

It adds a bit of a skillcap when using the tentacle

If you don't know what this perk does, because you've never seen it or whatnot, it basically blocks all windows within a 32 meter radius of a gen when that gen is completed, and they stay blocked for 30 seconds.

32 meters is really not that big of a radius in the grand scheme of things, especially on big maps. And like Blood Favour, the survivors usually won't be affected by this perk at all if they do the smart thing which is run straight away from the area. If they recognize you have the perk that's what they'll do, but smart players will do that anyway.

30 seconds for the windows to be blocked is an inconsequential amount of time. A survivor could probably loop you around just a pallet for 20 seconds, and then they wait a few more and then your perk is over. I guess the perk can help to make survivors use pallets quicker because they (kind of) can't use windows, but if you're having to get through more than 1 pallet in a single chase and still haven't downed them, you're probably wasting too much time anyway.

At least this perk doesn't have a cooldown. Nevertheless, this is a terrible perk. You would use it for Demogorgon's adept challenge and that's it, unless you're going full meme one day.

What if it blocked all windows within 32 meters until the next gen is done, i dont think that would be too powerful.

  • @NAERUUU said:

If someone want to remove fun in dead by daylight, do it

    Give me u'r opinion

Swf is only a problem at tournament level, if you arent playing nurse or spirit just accept that every 1 in 500 games youre gonna get stomped. The game shouldnt get balanced just because the highest level players are cracked asf

  • @Northener1907 said:

    Title.

So much complains about camping and tunnelling. But noone talks about killer problems. Genrush for example. So many times killers are losing 2 or 3 gens in early game. And that makes game so sweaty for them. Survivors complaining about tunneller killers makes game so sweat but they are also makes games sweat for killers because of genrush.

Even Nurse can be defeat by genrush. So why this is not problem? How can killer try 12 hooks with this genrush problem?

Gen rushing almost never happens in the first place. You would have to be facing a good 4 man swf going for the win. Tunneling and camping, on the other hand, takes 0 brainpower or skill.

  • @Kebek said:

I love to play as him and also lo playing against him but I'm a weirdo who enjoy all killers with active chase powers be it, spirit, nurse, slinger, PH or nemeis.

    You're not alone, fellow wierdo

  • @Man_of_triangles said:

Nemesis is a significantly worse Pyramid Head who has to hit 3 times to down, whose power is easier to use but far less powerful. And instead of cages he gets zombies which are occasionally hilarious but often useless. The number one way to counter Nemesis is to hold W and start running the moment you see him because it will take forever for him to get into a position where he can even begin to hit you with a tentacle. If Nemesis were released three years ago he might be considered a fun killer but by today's standards he is trash.

You didnt mention that holding W is also the #1 counter for PH. Nemesis also has full control of his movement while holding tentacle out and can pull it out in 1/3 of the time PH can. The only thing PH has the ability to hit through walls and a few meters of range. Obviously, PH will always be top tier, but i dont think its fair to write Nemesis off as a significantly worse PH

  • PH is one of my most played killers, and I can say for a fact they are different. Nemesis has a 3rd of the charge up time and the "tentacle tech" means you can pull off some pretty clutch hits at loops.

  • @ALostPuppy said:

Pretty underwhelming imo. His entire kit is a meh version of PH but now there are 2 zombies walking around at random that can, very rarely, be more than just a small portion of progress towards the next tier. He's not a bad killer by any means, but his main power can already be done by so many killers already that there's not much of a reason to play him. If I wanna hit people over loops I have Deathslinger, Huntress and Trickster for that. If I want a good zoning power I have all of the above + Demo and PH. If I want a fun secondary power that compliments my other ability I, again, can play Demo.

He doesn't really have an identity because all of his main power mechanics have been done to death already except the zombies, which are barely even worth mentioning and almost never do anything.

I wouldnt write him off quite yet. Ive discovered a few tricks that make him stand out from the rest of the cast. Not to mention that the zombies can add a slight bit of gen pressure on top of his great chase ability

  • @NemIsLive said:

Is this intended or a bug? I love more bloodpoints and honestly hope this is a feature lmao

I was hoping it was a possible bp increase. Even if it was just an extra 8k per match it still goes a long way.

  • @MarcoPoloYolo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2294213#Comment_2294213

That only mitigates the problem. Yes, that style can work well, which is why he's not D-tier. His problems are too much to be considered amongst the truly good killers.

Its a weakness, and the way around the weakness is to use it at the right place right time, once theyre infected, theres little they can do against the tentacle

  • @Heartbound said:

It's very satisfying to whip people. I enjoy the killer because he's your basic 115% killer with a few toys in his kit. Zombies are goofy and while I spurn them as survivor while I'm playing Nemesis I usually end up killing them if they get in bad spots and since they spawn on the side of the map opposite of you, you can kinda control where they go.

Awesome to see someone else enjoying him, i find the general strat with zombies to be trying to keep them close to gens in order to provide pressure.

  • @Huff said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2294202#Comment_2294202

I find that hard to believe when Hag and Spirit still exist. Maybe he'll be like a top 5 or top 8 or something, but I think they top 3 for a while now will remain Hag, Spirit, Deathslinger.

For me personally, it's honestly Nurse, Michael, and Pig, but I have my own reasons.

I shouldve phrased that better. I meant more like killers who arent likely to be nerfed/reworked in the near future, but yea, hag spirit slinger and a good nurse are definetly pains to face.

  • @MarcoPoloYolo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2294122#Comment_2294122

Let me put this into the other perspective. When using his power, Nemesis gives the survivors a MOM proc, and survivors can give themselves an additional 4 total in the match. That's why he shouldn't be considered anywhere near the A tier. He's low B high C at best because of this weakness. The method you talk about is what I do once I get to tier 2, and while it mitigates his problems, it doesn't remove them. A good survivor will take advantage of it, and either reposition, or chain into another structure. Possibly a stronger one.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2294135#Comment_2294135

It lasts for .25 seconds, so, with the speed boost, they're going for 130% speed for .25 seconds, and the full 150% speed for 1.75 seconds, which is why it isn't noticeable. If Nemesis has a 2.5 second hinder, it would outlast the speed boost and help him catch up.

You have to be smart about when and where you infect. Unlike a MoM proc, you control when and where it happens. Ive had situations where a survivor can be zoned into an infection and they cant do a thing about it.
