Of course they're not gonna touch gens, they know the game is lost and want the hatch points. You don't need perks to avoid that, you just need better tracking like observing disturbed crows in the environment (which is underrated), listening for footsteps and breathing. It's not a design problem, it's a human behavior reaction to what's happening. Also, are you not going to talk about how killers can take the game hostage such as creating lose/lose situations for survivors, they can slug out a survivor for 4 minutes, facecamp at 5 gens. Don't think the other side can't do it as well.
I'm talking about game hostage: survivors not doing their objectives and only hiding FOR MINUTES, time enough to play another match or several matches.

I once kindly asked about the possibility of fixing the streched resolution on a dev live (the dev was answering all types of dbd's questions) and I got banned lol
Not sure of what is bhvr's opinion about streched resolution...

All I know is that DH is the most nonsense overpowered perk.

i loved the summertime melancholy vibe it gives me

"loses" he only lost his own goal, (winning and losing is not defined in this game)
the point is though, how could you possible get those 4ks even with tons of hours? as OP described its clearly impossible, 1 on hook, 3 working on gens? what on earth could you do?!?!!!
maybe watch otz and see what can be done about it, learn and git gud.
I was the survivor of the match and I was playing with my friends.
But it's not a question of get gud, It's to show how badly designed the game is.
I didn't even need TO MOVE to find and complete my objectives as a survivor.
The Nurse was impressively competent, didn't miss the blinks, I'm sure she expent hundreds of hours to masterize the character, although she didn't kill 1 survivor.
Moreover I just did the post because I got incredulous by that as I'm a main killer too and have faced similar situations.

I really appreciate everyone with the kind tips. Thanks so much! <3

Pay attention to the grass movement and dusty particles on the windows and pallets when survivors slow vault over them. Additionally, when survivors slow vault over a pallet, they make a little "oomph" sound. Same with lockers even when they rush into them with Quick and Quiet.
If you want to catch an injured survivor with Iron Will i would recommend for you to not use your Phase Walk for it's full duration; Just tap it for a second or two, since injured survivors usually will run for some distance after getting hit and then slow walk back into you, which is very predictable.
You should rely more on sounds and not on scratchmarks since basically every survivor starts walking when they see a Spirit standing still.
I would also recommend for you to not Phase Walk instantly at open loops; You can stay there for a couple of seconds and watch if a survivor is going to run away from a loop. And if they do, this usually leads to an easy hit out of Phase since Spirit moves at 176% speed in her ability without any addons.
I don't recommend using Stridor; This perk only hinders me personally and you will become addicted to this perk.
I suggest for you to play Spirit more and just practice. It's a little hard playing her at the beggining, but after some time spent on Spirit you will destroy everyone.
P.S. I don't recommend standing still at pallets and waiting for a survivor to vault into you. Learn to play aggressively as Spirit with her ability and don't rely on standing still "mindgame". Good luck!
Do you know if the ultra graphic setting improve those hints (dust, grass etc...)?

The priority is money.
DS is a meta perk that you have to pay to use it.
-
Now you only have to think a bit more before throwing a pallet. It’s not that difficult, you’ll get used to it 😊
-
I got badham 5 times in a row, it was really disgusting
-
I think she is a character with a n irrational faith, so the entity took advantage and brainwashed her
-
Survivors - second chances perks (dead hard, decisive strike, unbreakable, borrowed time).
Killers - generators protection (pgtw, corrupt intervention, ruin, barbecue and chilli).
-
Blessed be you for the arguments, but they have the STATS!
-
My suggestion is: bloodpoint offerings shouldn’t have any cost, make them appear as a gift in the bloodweb. It doesn’t make sense to spend bloodpoints to win bloodpoints, just saying...
-
It’s only on Nurse actually. But I do agree, increasing the FOV is almost an health care for killer players
-
Ard Skellig Village from The Witcher 3 😄
-
The problem is with you to think that that little humanoid monster is a baby. Don’t blame the game, the devs nor the community. I’ve never seen a baby have the will to harm and eat people alive, to have consciousness, superhuman skills. Please...
-
At least they are giving you hits. My matches the survivors always fake the free hit. Actually I go to the gates only to make them get out from the match, it's really annoying.

Are you talking about deadblink zones or the one where you charge-and-shoot but travel all of half a foot?
M2 just does not work! It often happens after using the first blink and when I charge the second one the bug happens: I get a huge and countinous whoosh sound like if I was charging hundreds of blinks at once, then the nurse fatigates. That happens almost every match and sometimes lots of times at sequence. I can still do a hit, but I can't charge the second blink. I know other Nurse players with the bug and it's been happening since forever lol

Some of you act like these guys are malevolent. Here's a life tip: you do not need a video game (any video game). If you think the devs are incompetent, lazy, greedy, etc. then why would you still support them? Why are you on the forums every day? Talk about first world problems.
If Bhvr created a vaccine for COVID 19 and charged hundreds of dollars for it then I'd be with you calling them out. But they are selling a product that nobody will ever need. They have a game where, after purchasing it for $10-20, you don't have to spend one more dime on it and you can play it for thousands of hours. There are plenty of free cosmetics, every can play against every killer on every map, plenty of cosmetics and characters that you can earn with in game currency, and every single perk is eventually in the shrine.
Complaining about balance is one thing. I get there will be disagreements there. But being pissy because the big meanie developer doesn't give you enough free stuff you don't need? Grow up. Self reflect on your entitlement and find something in life that is actually worth this kind of "passion."
I love you!
Guys, it’ only a virtual game.
A ######### virtual game!
A gameeee!
Please!

It seems fine!

DBD 2 needs to move away from the multi PvP and be a continual storymode play through (updated frequently like DBD) where we play through each character’s storyline.
Like watching Walking Dead or Stranger Things, only we’re playing through the entire DBD saga.
It would be such a nice break from the nonstop monotony of the original to enjoy storymode for a while, then jump back into the grind.
Behaviour is sorely missing out on a GOLDEN opportunity here.
That would be really amazing!! We could explore the world of the Entity, play the character’s past stories, maybe even change their future? I really want to change Spirit’s tragic death, Nurse’s loss pain, or no! Who knows?! It would be epic!

I feel like if there was a DbD 2 only the trapper would be making a return from the original cast of killers given he's the face of DbD.
Even then he'd probably would have an entirely different kit.
I thought this too.
Probably they would change the game entirely, not generators anymore, not exit gates... The kill/escape aspect would be kept, but the mechanics and killers entirely new!
-
i think now she uses transitions lenses
-
Rest in peace, Spirit! It was really fun and challenging going against you.
-
I bought auric cells to complete some rift levels and honestly a good amount of skins. I did receive the mysterious auric cells too!
-
I think I got it too. Just realized because I bought the new Felix costume and I have now 1075 auric cells. I am almost sure I had before 1100+ auric cells, so strange!
-
I love the Minoutaur skin and Enforcer oufit from David (the one with the facial painting, bluish outfit).
-
Is she the best killer? Yes! Is she by far the most difficult? Yes! Is she really ahead from the others killers? Actually, no! She relies badly on survivor’s mistakes too. This plus her god powers seems to make her that unbeatable, but she is not. Actually, as a main Nurse, I can assure that maybe she is not worth investing time and effort and definitly does not need another nerf. I play her cause I really love her style, her lore, and obviously cause she is strong. But people sell her really as an unbeatable character, this is not true. Even the best Nurse player out there will be crushed for those tryhard swfs.
-
As Nurse, blinking and grabbing survivors, it’s so good!
-
I have lots of friends that literally stopped playing DbD because they got tired of the game after completing those infinite rift challenges. They don’t have the mood to play anymore, it’s sad!
-
No and there's a reason: the game needs more survivors players, it's an 4x1, being survivor sided is an attractive to players choose this side.
-
I’d say Felix and Adiris

Are you kidding? Hex Lullaby is borderline OP when you don't get skill check warnings, that combined with the 6% regression penalty can really be debilitating during gens or healing.
That's the intention, make skill checks naturally harder

The fix for Spirit is to downgrade Phase's speed.

And again, who TF cares?
Trying to label this kinda stuff is where the problem is.
You don't care, we got it. Stop being so annoying and go find a topic of your interest.
-
Based only on appearences and the lore, my opinion is that Felix is pan, Kate bi, Jake, Jeff and Jane straight. The others characters I do agree with you.
-
With the price of a legendary skin I can buy the last two DLCs, this doesn’t make any sense

A 5th normal perk slot is literally unlocking the good killer's potential to become gods. Do you really want 5 hex sniper doctor? A stridor and 4 anti gen spirit? All chase billy? It's wayy too much, it's just 1 extra perk, but 1 more can make all the difference
Maybe yes.
SWF players are already the gods of the game, it's just a matter of fairness.
-
Nea and Legion
-
Actually, you can't counter her "strictly", because her power is ahead of survivor's defenses. Just like Nurse, you counter Spirit working on her mistake. If the Spirit doesn't make mistakes, you can't counter her. All you have to do is to accept your deadly fate.
-
Plague. I love to vomit at everything, mainly at the face of toxic survivors when they are hooked.
-
Bond + Kindred + Open-Handed + Iron Will is my solo build.
-
Let me tell you the truth: unfortunately Behaviour will never change SWF. SWF supports the entire game.
People like to play with friends, they like to bully the killer (aka jester) and they like an easy match. That's all.
