If DBD 2 would be released, do you think Nurse would be in it?

Maybe I have a feeling that Behaviour wouldn’t include Nurse in a possible DBD 2.

Some people complain that she is too difficult, others complain that she is op, she is definitely played by a little little little part of the community. Almost every year she is nerfed, has lots of bugs and is a quite lot ignored by the devs.

I’m pretty sure they regret of creating her at the end. Probably they wouldn’t include her in a future sequence of dbd, just thinking...

  • I feel like if there was a DbD 2 only the trapper would be making a return from the original cast of killers given he's the face of DbD.

Even then he'd probably would have an entirely different kit.

    I thought this too.

Probably they would change the game entirely, not generators anymore, not exit gates... The kill/escape aspect would be kept, but the mechanics and killers entirely new!

  • DBD 2 needs to move away from the multi PvP and be a continual storymode play through (updated frequently like DBD) where we play through each character’s storyline.

Like watching Walking Dead or Stranger Things, only we’re playing through the entire DBD saga.

It would be such a nice break from the nonstop monotony of the original to enjoy storymode for a while, then jump back into the grind.

Behaviour is sorely missing out on a GOLDEN opportunity here.

  • I like Xyvielia's comment about having a storyline mode/game. But other than that I think any DbD2 that is a killer vs survivor should have a new cast of characters.

That would be really amazing!! We could explore the world of the Entity, play the character’s past stories, maybe even change their future? I really want to change Spirit’s tragic death, Nurse’s loss pain, or no! Who knows?! It would be epic!

  • Spinoff game would be cool, but sequels are often money grabs and I'd rather see this game continuously get updated rather than be abandoned.

  • I highly doubt there's going to be DBD 2 (or at least in any near future) you can see that devs are continuously adding chapters and now UPDATING the graphics and new animations which is pretty much a graphical nupdate DBD2 would normally get.

So no, you don't have to worry about something like Nurse not being in DB2. Many games are being treated the same - why to create a 2nd game when the 1st one is still has a big player base and is being expanded still (it's like Overwatch 2, they're not creating a full game...basically an addon which changes the graphics and adds some story mode to it + the Overwatch 1 stays playable, it just changes name ro Overwatch 2).

But to answer your question...you can see DBD policy...trying to earm money with anything "fan favorite" so nope...in base game there wouldn't be an iconic killer like Nurse, but she would DEFINITELY be added as DLC only to draw more attention to the game. (Same way Mileena is being treated in MK11 now).

Inalso forgot to mention DBD is going to be playable on new console generation so...no new DBD(2) coming any soon

Yesss! So stoked that you’re actually into it!

Everytime I mention this players ignore it like they’re SOOO wrapped up in DBD to ever play anything else besides DBD.

You nailed it! How great would it be to play through a beautifully lively storymode where ALL our fav characters come to life and instead of these generic archive story entries that are read to us, we get to play through them!

The opening sequence with Trapper, Claudette, Dwight (and Meg, screaming off in the distance) is such a tease!

We need a playable in-depth version of that!

  • Why are people so certain that the only way to 'fix' things is to make DBD2 instead of step by step rebuilding things in what we have?

The problems here is the improvement of game play (which is add more mechanic, objectives ect.) but it will make a whole perks set be full rework.

Shape brought Obsession mechanic, Hag brought Hex. And since after them, other Killers do have Obsession & Hex in their perks.

The game is so lack of core mechanic (Gen & Hook). One day, their perks idea will be depleted. If they're not going to add any new mechanic.

Currently, for me, its hard to think of a new side mechanic that not affected the core mechanic (Gen & Hook). Example, if they add Gas as 2nd objective beside Gen. The Gen time will be changed -> affected the balance of all Gen perks.
