Leave them and chase someone else. That’s 2 people not doing gens lol. They give up if you ignore them
-
My first 5 killer games of the new patch yesterday, 2 of them had the first survivor try to dead hard for distance and then instantly dc when downed. So yeah, an mmr correction is going to happen.

100% Oh boy!

to be honest #4 would make her harder to dodge. if she's able to move more towards you after the blink then she doesn't need to aim her blink as well in order to get a hit in.
Dodging nurse is all about mind gaming the moment before she blinks. Change your direction randomly while she is about to blink. mix in some fake changes in direction just before she blinks. If you're a medium distance away and you see her charging the blink for a while? Run towards her, she'll overshoot the blink. There's a lot of things you can do to make her blink in the wrong direction or wrong distance.
We’re talking 1-2 extra seconds of movement before fatigue here, enough time to set up a window or pallet like against any normal killer

Yes, the game does not end at this point.
Yet people want Perks to stop working at this point. Why should a Perk which is not limited by any duration (like Corrupt Intervention or Lethal Pursuer) or occurrence (like Hexes or Boons) suddenly stop working? Because the Killer is annoyed?
As Killer you will have even more time now to kill all 4 Survivors before Endgame. If this does not work out, you might have lost. Accept it. And dont think that you deserve some Endgame-Kills, just because you play the Killer Role and deserve some belly rubs.
You said “perks which are not effected by a duration” and then listed 2 perks that literally turn off permanently after a timer?? The only reason why a perk should turn off in the endgame is that it creates a situation that simply does not have counterplay (DS in exit gate). It’s not “because the killer is annoyed” (this is a very survivor main comment btw) it’s because it is bad game design players to be completely helpless in a situation due to a perk.
You still didn’t respond to my point about endgame perks, either. Sometimes it’s even efficient to let the last gen go to pressure a specific part of the map, or set up some sort of trap with your power, or use an endgame perk.

"Why do you think you deserve an escape in Endgame as survivor?" You dont deserve it.
And for me, once all Gens are done, I lost as a Killer. I know that Killers like to point out that stuff like NOED exists and that the game is not over. But why should Survivor Perks disable when the game is not over?
The game does not end when all the gens are completed lmao. If the killer “lost” when the fifth gen popped, it would just cut to the menu. The existence of perks like hope, noed, no way out, blood warden, no one left behind, etc prove you wrong
-
- Make her 4.4 ms
- Remove 1 of her blinks
- Make that one blink a bit longer than currently
- Give her a couple seconds more time to move and swing after blink and before miss fatigue
This keeps her identity as the blinking killer, but gives survivors more of a chance to dodge, also allowing her to actually be played around pallets and windows a bit since players would be encouraged to not always hit the perfect blink, but get close and then move at 4.4 for a few seconds to get the attack

Fearmonger defenders change my mind that its a crap of perk.
Yeah it’s not the greatest perk on earth, but it is incredibly annoying and completely counters sprint burst, also forces survivors to change the way they play or be permanently exhausted off of a gen

I just had a game like that today, 2 survivors had prove thy self, 2 tool boxs, 3 had self heal and I had to deal with 2 flashlights. That game lasted a total of 3 minutes. Yes I did check gens. They would just go to another gen and rush it.
It's was a fast game. And it was ridiculous.
It takes 80 seconds to solo a gen without any perks or toolbox. If these people also self healed, it’s physically impossible to do all the gens in 3 minutes. Healing wastes a lot of time
-
For 5 gens to be done in 3 minutes, there would need to be
- at least 2 brand new part
- at least 1 prove thyself
- you only chased one survivor that whole time and they didn’t have the BnP or prove thyself
- you never checked any other gens
-
This was really funny overall, and not all honest game trailers are! Definitely a good laugh

The only way to actually make condemned a viable and even minor threat would be to up the rate at which it is passively gained and up how much condemned a survivor gains when she appears from a TV. Other than that.....there's not much to say or can really do with it
Maybe base kit ring drawing, yoichi’s fishing net, and iri tape? And I stand by my idea of “if you witness her exit the TV, it adds 2 condemned”
-
@lemonsway said:
Still way too manny stacks to get vs how easy it is to just remove all the stacks. TV placement is RNG so even if you make it give more stacks you're still not gonna get that much value out of it.
I agree the missing link here is how to rework the way survivors get rid of condemned. Unfortunately I have no answer for that right now
-
Trickster for the same reasons as you. Onryo because her visual and sound design is so good it distracts you from how weak she is
-
LCTRL bind is my only pet peeve for PC games. I always bind it to something else like a mouse button. Besides that, it’s just about getting used to it. If you grow up playing a console, of course it will be weird
-
- Do not go next to lockers during nightfall
- If he leaves his remnant at a loop, leave the loop
- Lock lockers only near a gen you are doing in the early game. Later game, just lock any locker that hasn’t been locked yet
- DO NOT hide during nightfall. If your “cover” has any gaps in it or any part of you pokes out, the dredge can see you from miles away. If you hide, you are giving him free slowdown

Midwich? Survivor Sided? What???
the only situation in which midwich would be survivor favored is m1 killer vs good survivors that just run to pallets
-
Maps that are actually bad:
Garden of joy
Eyrie of crows
Gas heaven
The game
RPD
Shelter woods (killer favored)
Rotten fields
Cowshed
Badham (all versions)
Ormond is just big. Only 2 of the doors on dead dog actually need to be kicked, and it’s one of the smallest maps.
-
smurfing is allowed even in games with a hard elo system… this game is basically jackbox party pack compared to those. in short, no lol

every game would be 3 bills and a meg. david rate crashes to 0%

Bloodpoints, annoyance, and a chance to run through the killer while he is blind

Sure, if you want the game to die and cease to exist. Dumbest idea I have ever read, as a 90% killer main

people complain about short slugging by killers that easily keep people injured?

Low MMR: the post
noed users are like a bell curve:
I can’t get kills without it —-> Nooooo you can’t use noed it makes you bad! ——> I keep noed on because it lets me clutch against god swf teams
-
My only problem with it is that the corner of the map adjacent to shack across the road has like 5 pallets spawn within 10 feet of each other

What about stacking debuffs for each tick of condemned? So you start from blindness at 1 or 2, then oblivious, hemorrhage, mangled, exposed, etc up to killable at 7 in whatever order would be most balanced and fun to vs? Could even have an add-on or two that swaps the condemned stacks needed for whatever two status effects.
Obviously she'd still need more changes and you'd have to allow the killer to see condemned progress (which should already be a thing TBH) but I feel like this is the kind of direction she needs to go in. She needs more as a killer, not just a refinement of what she already has.
That’s a great idea as well

I have to disagree. Peak strenght wise hes fine but thats shortsightend seen as a whole product hes not. He needs an addon rework and people widely agree on this. Its okay if you dont care because you dont play him but for people who bought him its an issue that only 2 addons can be used in a match.
Im know your talking about his strength level, but be aware that his Tier is meassured by his peak gameplaystyle - tunneling. If he doesnt do that hes B-Tier because low mobility and no map pressure is breaking his neck. So in order to adress both problems its logical to rework the addons and opening new ways of gameplay for variety reasons without to buff his peak gameplay tunneling.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2970939#Comment_2970939
I am familiar with the attack - i call it an exploit because i couldnt imagine that the devs have designed his attack this way but they might rather messed up the turning rate lock.
Currently the attack seems to be bound to specific fps and dpi you get different results with 30 or 120 fps [ You can flick with Pyramid Head — Dead By Daylight ] - so it has restrictions which keeps player away from using it. I think the flick attacks are cool enough to be acknowledged and be suggested for players via addon (many also dont know about this play) without to rely on fps and dpi as much and they might could even tweak it to make it less clunky.
This would be one way to rework one of his useless addons without to buff him in any way because its already available and dont worry there are still more then enough useless addons left for more important ideas.
I get that tunneling is a good chunk of why he’s A tier, but I think to say it’s the whole reason would be wrong. He simply ignores terrain, windows, and pallets within the range of punishment, which makes up for his lack of mobility. Punishment is basically a better Nemesis tentacle

that is true, indeed, but i dont exactly have much faith in the devs, improving the addons as a whole, and id rather have 3 good addons rather than no good addons. yes there is a possibility if they did go a addon rework, it could result in a net gain for us, however always a possibility for it to get worse.
at the end of the day it would be the devs throwing more love at an already strong, fun, and overall complex killer. so I guess I can’t really complain since I love PH. But it would be nice
-
The only part of the “dead hard is healthy for the game” argument I agree on is that it encourages survivors not to predrop pallets.

shh, otherwise they'll look at his addons and end up nerfing his range addons because of their usage.
I always ask other PH enjoyers, do we have the worst add ons in the game as a whole? The only one I can see being argued as worse is Nemesis

110% with a Power that increases her movement speed and makes her invisible.
PH is 115% with a Power that isn't hard to dodge and that is about on par with Demogorgon's (I'd say it's worse)
how can you say punishment is worse than shred? that just makes no sense to me. can shred pass through walls?
-
Oni, Blight
-
I prefer MMR. My only problem with it is there being no way to see it/visual rank not being tied to it. when you win at league, you see a number go up that is tied to a rank. the amount the number moves is tied to your hidden mmr. this is how it should work in dbd
-
Quite good. Probably high B tier, but he is very difficult to play. High skill cap, with his strongest add ons he goes to A tier. (impaling wire, engineer's fang)
-
Pyramid head: keep the slight slowdown during the sword plant animation, but give him back his m1 out of trail. move punishment of the damned to the active ability key
oh and how about we make his purple and iri add ons not COMPLETELY USELESS
if I wanted to get really greedy, change the initial torment to aura reading instead of killer instinct

wow, you guys wont believe, i won the second one again, with the huntress again, i went from rank IV to III i guess ? level 3 huntress now, i love the play style, so much easier and with a ranged weapon, all i needed, specially when those pesky survivors keep trying to hide behind the pallets or windows, i love it so much, im sorry my initial post was a little bit precipitate, can't wait to level up this killer, i was getting destroyed with the wraith
Let me give you a simple tip for playing huntress: when you are looking to equip new perks on her, prioritize perks that have "aura reading"
These perks let you see survivors through walls, and are especially good for huntress because you can predict long range hits with them. Some examples of aura reading perks are Bitter murmur (universal), BBQ & chili (the cannibal), Hex: retribution (deathslinger), scourge hook: floods of rage (onryo), or a nurse's calling (nurse)

@Lima24927 said:
i would like to update this, after trying the wraith, the nurse, i tested the huntress and it was easier for me, i was finally able to hit more people and won my first round, with a level 1 huntress lol, i dont know what happened to one of the players, but after i killed him his symbol changed to a small ball with some sort of two arms, one on each side of the ball, never saw him again, finally !
Hahaha that "small ball with 2 arms" means you played huntress so well that that guy ragequit. Glad you found a killer that works for you! If you're an experienced FPS veteran, I also recommend deathslinger, trickster, executioner, or nemesis.
-
Worst:
- Pyramid head - BY FAR the worst
- Nemesis
Pyramid in particular only has 4-5 usable add ons. 1 brown, 2 yellow, and 2 green
-
if the survivors suck, you won't get enough chase points. happens every time

started out hating mikaela
still hate mikaela

Only Map offerings are an issue tho, and even that isnt really as much as an issue considering the MASSIVE amount of green items, addons and offerings survivors have. Any specific map offering for survivors is less common as an ebony mori. Killers can get 1 of every map offering before survivors statistically get 1 specific map offering.
Even 4x BNP isnt even close to most killer addons in terms of power. Toolboxes and Medkits heavily outweigh in consistent pressure(in fact, medkits need a nerf)
CoH needs a fix for indoor maps and 3 people, if it cuts off the sphere through roofs and floors, and caps the speed on healing action rather than buffing each individual survivor speed, it would be fine with the current speeds(75/75). Any other map its either quick to snuff or hard to reach.
Single floor boons and circle of healing goes off my list instantly

@Predated said:

I mean, what is the official list of killer approved, gold star survivor slots? Medkits, toolboxes, flashlights and even keys are disliked. So only maps, but not Rainbow maps. Then preferably only the duration addons. Maybe Streetwise and Built to Last to increase duration, but only if they carry maps, because if they find a commodius through Luck, that's too OP.
Killer mains are just as entitled as survivor mains.
It would be faster to list my non approved survivor slots as a killer than list the approved ones
- brand new part
- map offerings
- circle of healing
that's it, everything else is good and fair

I wanted to DC because they denied me like tons of hooks by sabotaging and flashlight saves but I sweated just to make sure they didn't get their fun they didn't expect a nurse but I had a hard time probably my second worst game as a killer ever too frustrating and they used that perk to refill flashlights over and over and over
sometimes I want to dc in situations like that also, but I never do. it's fun to accept that it won't be fair and take it as a challenge. then again, I main pyramid head so if someone is playing annoyingly I can tunnel them out in 3 mins flat

I had no chance in winning if I didn't play nurse all gens were done and hardly got 2 kills the 3rd kill was lucky thank to no way out perk but still didn't pip they made my life miserable for 30 minutes 2 were sabotaging any nearby hooks , 1 had some sort of cheat he blind me behind walls instantly if I pick someone and indoor map was terrible for nurse I only got one of the kills because they were greedy for the last gen one of them kept coming back to it but if I played anything other than nurse it's a guaranteed 4 escape.
The pic was an answer for you claiming there is not enough dead hard for high mmr so that was your answer it wasn't about the match itself..
I was commending you on getting 3 kills under the circumstances, even if I didn't pip in that situation I'd be taking pleasure in that their little game didn't work and the guy with the map offering is dead
