In certain instances I don't think killer should see survivor's names. I have seen a lot of DBD live streams where the killer was stream sniping to know where the player was at all times. It is very difficult for a survivor to stream snipe a killer, unless they happen to search everyone who streams at the time they are in the lobby (but why go through all that effort?)

Agreed names should never be shown ever since I've had so many games where it's obvious the killer is stream sniping it's not even funny. The killer should always see characters but that's it.

Maybe don't have tv in your name?

While I agree not all have it in their name as @CoolAKn said, some just have a streamer channel listed or .yu etc.

They should lose their items at the end of the match regardless of the outcome.

A wanted FIX Indeed! Killers always lose their stuff, why survivors dont? =/

Yeah tell me again how the survivors counter black ward.

It’s bs that Franklin’s can Counter White Ward when the killer doesn’t have to worry about losing his/her add-ons when they have Black Ward.

Maybe because they lose their items everytime except when they run Ward, and Survivors almost never lose their items?

Franklin's, Noed, Nurse, Billy, small map etc. The killer can run ward and never ever lose that item. The survivor can run ward and loses it with Franklins and or a dc. Since the game assumes you got Franklin's , w/e At least when I've run White Ward and a killer quits I still lose everything because the game does it that way.

Not ironic. Simple fact. When survivors cry about BBQ being op, I tell them to hide behind a gen.
This has consequences. Since the killer won't see anyone, he might camp.
Every survivor who has even the slightest skill, can stay in the open, count to 4 and run somewhere else. Who's not skilled enough for this, hides behind a gen.

Survivors want the killer to leave the hook, but don't want to give him a new target. They want the best of everything.

Actually it is ironic since if you hide behind the gens the killer will assume someone's camping close and if it's a Billy/Nurse well then you're asking to get rekt really quickly by standing in the open. I'll stand in the open when I can't get to behind a gen or close enough to hook but if it's a Billy/Nurse I'm against i go super far away. Because I know even if i move for 4 seconds around after hook they're usually right on top of me or close to it by then.

I've got no problem giving them a new target to chase except when that's practically suicidal, Billy with controller strering and Moonshine etc=death.

So much fun for killers we have to bribe you to play it.

Ranks right up there with jury duty, spiking women's drinks, prostate exams and Catholic church.

Yep gotta keep using that excuse when stats say that's not always the case, but don't let facts get in your way.

    4 strangers = 30%
    2 friends + 2 strangers = 34.1%

    2 friends + 2 friends = 9.5%
    3 friends + 1 stranger = 17.9%
    4 friends = 8.5%

So just in case that's 30% of the time there isn't a mic in use and 64.1% of the time there might be 2 mics in use. Since not every swf group uses mics as has beens tated by some but hey those pesky facts again.

So an incentive for killers to earn more bp against swf scared the devs off how again? I mean that's some really convoluted logic there since adding my bp to killers in no way limits swf. In your non stop attempts to bash the devs and swf you keep coming up with completely illogical and bad arguments.

Simple fact, giving killers more bp to face swf in no way, shape or form limits swf.

So why it's not already added to the game ?

This simple feature was talked about since SWF release, but nothing was done.

Nor incentive, nor trying to nerf it, nothing.

It's like some peoples think that the killers don't deserve anything and should deal with every unfair and cheesy things with a smile lul.

Oh I agree with adding more bp's and only reason I can think of not giving out hopards of it is because of inflationary issues. Think of it this way, there's quite a few killers that already have everything and I mean everything. By giving them more bp to blow on nothing but blowing it just to blow it is a waste.

The established killers with everything p3 and all perks unlocked don't really care about extra bp at that point. Oh sure hey'll love it for when a new killer/survivor comes out. They'll get sated for abit then it's back to ho hum, what to spend these on.

You'd have to have a scaling system then at that point where they could turn in some extra bp to shards. So for every say 1 mil bp they have they can exchange it for x shards with a multiplier % based upon how many games they did versus swf.

You could also do something like that or in conjunction with that idea of some type where the higher the group size the higher the multiplier up to y.

  • I've never been able to take 2 perks at the same time but routinely see 2 and quite often the same 2 junk ones.

I literally ran into the same camping Hag 3 times today. I really hate short games, wish I can avoid this person somehow. I understand how you feel but then again some people might just duck and dodge killers that literally do what they have to do fairly (which I find hypocritical because killers do this all the damn time with certain survivors they don’t wanna face)

If you run 3 times into the same killer, then there might be not enough killer players in your region.
    Just saying.

That and or time of day is a big reason too, early am PST around 2-3 am you'll have the same 2-10 killers or so and the same 12-24 or so survivors playing. Now granted this is around ranks 1-3ish during those time frames on PC.

As far as names neither side should see names at all, killers already dodge based upon items and names, we don't need survivors doing it as well.

It'd be fair for neither side to lose items/addons/offerings if someone dc's like that. In the case of swf it should be if it's game crash related and not an intentional dc. The same should be true for either side dcing just because they don't like the map/offerings.

This makes me want to punch someone. I can’t stand it when Survivors Loop me as Killer, or when I am Survivor (on the hook or not) when some moron loops the Killer near the hooked person.

Yeah I've had so many games where someone obviously gets seen so the killer slow plays it out then gets chased around hook to 2nd stage then gets downed. The 1st person dies, 2nd gets hooked and killer goes off and looks for the smart ones.

    @ZombieGenesis said:
I use BBQ as a reason to leave the hook but if I hook someone, look around and see no one, guess what? I assume you're near the hook and waiting to unhook the survivor the second I'm out of eyesight. So what do I do? I look around the hook for the hiding survivors. Survivors need to get better at mind games when it comes to things like BBQ. Instead, they hide and think they're super sneaky. Well, everything has consequences.

Well again my comment before about killers advising that's what to do is ironic since it's do this well wait we know your close so ignore that prior advice. I'll get close to hook if I'm out in open and no gens are close but I'm not getting that damn close.

Could be that 3 or 4 gens are done before they get the first hook. Maybe the killer feels pressured to play a certain way, because of how fast the game pace is.

But what if it isn’t that? Then whats the strat?

Remember that camping is wildly used for anything these days. If a survivor loops the killer around the hook, that killer is called a camper, even if it wasn´t his intention.
Killers use BBQ to have a reason to leave the hook, yet survivors are so good at hiding behind a gen or in the terror radius, that there won´t show up a new target for the killer. When that happens, the killer KNOWS that there must be someone nearby. When he starts searching = camping.

Ok this is ironic in a way since killers tell survivors all the time to hide behind a gen and get closer to hook to counter BBQ. So now it's survivors fault the killer searches around the hook causing them to quote unquote camp.

Now if the killer looks around and finds no one that's fine, but when they sit there and do nothing but circle the hook or camp it that's camping. IF they're chasing someone around the hook, that's legit and not camping in any way shape or form.

The person getting chased needs to run the killer away so person can be unhooked, not sit there and try and fake the killer out and prove how cool they are at earning boldness points.

I’m running into more and more campers the higher I get in ranks? Can someone explain the strategy behind it (if you camp) because I legitimately want to know? Maybe I’m playing Killer wrong.

it is the only way to effectively counter the rampant use of microphones, unless hillbilly, nurse or hag.  i touched one as killer and turned back.  7 as survivor now and once i touch 1, i am doing the same.  not my cup of tea.

    4 strangers = 30%
    2 friends + 2 strangers = 34.1%
    2 friends + 2 friends = 9.5%
    3 friends + 1 stranger = 17.9%
    4 friends = 8.5%

Yes because everyone uses mics all the time in every game. There's countless people that play swf and don't use mics. There's also all those pesky solo players that rampantly use mics to communicate with themselves.

I can understand camping when the gates are powered but when it's a Billy/Nurse/Huntress with Iridescent just standing within face range on 1st hook. That's not because mics at all, it's just a killer being a complete douche similar to the ones killers complain about looping endlessly in 1 spot.

  • @Orion said:

Yes, thank you, you've already voiced your complaints in the thread.

The point I'm trying to make is that you went in with a preconceived bias/outcome already. You did nothing data wise to negate those issues. By assuming best case scenario your outcome was preordained to fit your narrative. You didn't account for the different skill levels of each side.

The rng of maps/perks/toon selected, or was this a full 4 man swf, 3, 2 man swf or 4 solo's. Is the person playing poorly as in did they turn left when they should've gone right. Did the killer make mistakes, did someone not pay attention to the killer sneaking up behind them.

For instance the killer grabbing them right off the gen next to a hook, Billy/Bubba downing them same situation. You say devs want this to be a 30 secs or less, well the devs want you vocal minority to stop complaining on the forums every day.

Is that realistic or going to happen at all or every day, well we all know the answers to that one already. There's so many variables in each match that can affect how long a chase will last. But you again simply deflect any criticism and refuse to follow the same principles you expect others to.

They'res other threads you could've used as examples of solving lots of the problems that got good input from both sides. Yet you chose your own biased post as an example knowing full well it had serious flaws in it.

  • @FireOnEarth said:

Yeah. You change the program to show the people in the lobby. And your loved/blocked would still show for the killer. So yes

I don't think so since the id's are server sided at that point and thus controlled by the game. If MLGA tries to hack into something server side to get data it'll get you a very quick ban.

Go up against an optimized 4man SWF group for 20 games in a row, and then say the same things, OP, I goddamn dare you. Do it, you wiener.

If you don't see a problem with 1 survivor occupying +3 minutes of a killer's time, like they could with the old map generation, you don't understand how much time matters in this game for both sides. If each survivor not in a chase is on a gen for a long enough period of time, the game's halfway over /before or by the first hook/. Even after the various changes, killers are still at the mercy of the survivors sometimes, and I'm okay with that, but nobody wants to play entirely ineffective, weak or helpless killers.

Yeah go ahead and use that excuse that it's 20 games in a row of 4 man swf, why not say they all had DS, flashlights, No Mither etc. I mean if you're going to lie/use such extreme nonsensical hyperbole why not go the distance.

PPS: Sorry to post so much at once. Things I just keep forgetting to add.

OP. You call it an experiment and yet refuse to account for every variable except for those closed within youe tiny confines of a scenario... But an experiment, by definition, is to control specific variables so that you can then test the many other variables that vary. Cause, you know, variables are things that are able to vary... It's in the name. Come on, I know you can do type type and the write write so surely you must understand the words you're using.

You did not use mathematics to confirm anything. You calculated the travel time between two objects moving at different speeds. Then that suited the role of confirmation bias all too well.

Just like I did above, I can put your same variables in a different linear of one survivor after another and you have three easy hooks in the time only a single gen is popped.

Apparently, the fact that I didn't take into consideration the hundreds of variables that make the game more Survivor-sided was somehow relevant to my "best case-scenario for the Killer is still bad for them" point. And here I thought that when someone showed the best case-scenario for one side was bad, it was proof that that side needed a buff. Go figure.

No the fact that you chose a scenario that fit your preconceived outcome was the issue.

You were shown different things that could be taken into account such as grabbing someone off a gen and getting an easy hook. It happens even at rank 1 because either the killer was super sneaky or the survivor was to engrossed. You chose to only use what best fit your narrative.

  • @CornChip said:
Stealth brings nothing to the team.. while one of your teammates is buying time with the killer, two others are doing gens.. your crouched in a bush/locker somewhere.. being a survivor means teamwork.. thats just my 2c though

It depends, if you're stealthing around doing nothing the whole match waiting for the exits gates to be powered or hatch then yes. But blindly running around non stop usually in full view of the killer and then getting downed how is that team work?

  • @Global said:

Id rather be a stealth kill and be patient waiting for the right time to strike but alas stealth killers dont utilise stealth all to well :(

Amanda is really fun to play like that and waiting until at least 1 gen is popped before putting a trap on is evil. Since right around the time you hook them that 2nd gen has popped. You'll usually get a 2 or even 3rd trap on by the time next 1 or 2 gens pop.

Even Myers is fun to play all sneaky with mirror and just stalk and terrorize that way. I've done trapper games where I just patrol a little bit with Distressing and place traps all over. I'll put some in completely abnormal spots and then go off in the distance and wait.

You'll have people slowing down and looking for traps non stop because they're scared of where the traps might be at. With Distressing and running around just out of sight like Doctor you terrorize them.

  • @Master said:

I'll hide when I hear the heartbeat although if the gen is just a few seconds away I'll sometimes stay and be greedy. But I also use premo and if I know the killer is coming I'll sneak off and try and evade.

Ok, 4 blinks max. I'll admit, no one needs 5.

The only catch with Nurse add ons is they almost all come with some downsides. If we're talking about if someone can mitigate them are we punishing their proficiency?

As I said 2 blinks base no addons needed with 1 additional blink addon either rare or ultra rare. But then rework some of her other addons and perhaps introduce new ones.

As for @Dabrownman1812 I've played 3,4,5 blink nurse and so I now the difference and even at my limited skill level. If I play with 4-5 blinks I don't need skill because i can just rely on the crutch of those blinks in fast succession.

Yes the fatigue is longer but it doesn't matter since I can get a hit in usually and with Stridor /Nurses/Bloodhound etc they're going down quickly. 4-5 blinks is like ds, it's a crutch and complete training wheels.

All it does is reward bad gameplay and keep that person from actually getting better. The same is true of camping, oh sure you'll get that 1 kill guaranteed but 5 gens pop and 3 get out. Now you'llg t more of course is ppl don't punish you.

Good. then this game can stay where it is. Stagnating at the bottom of everything with it's primary appeal the lowest common denominator of gamers. The ones who need their hands held at every turn and only look marginally decent cause this game is the equivalent of grading everyone on a curve in a class where the highest grade is a D minus.

Yep here we go again with the insulting and denigrating when nothing else works result to the tried and failed stuff.

Most of the swf groups are probably just here to have fun and screw around, not play super competitively. The same as in many other games, you get the majority being casual players just playing for fun.

  • @Mycroft said:
So basically 4 vs 1. The 4 get all the benefits, the 1 gets nothing. The 1 should just deal with it and get better. Basic math be damned 4 is equal to 1.

    OK.

Isn't the sum of 4 greater than 1 or did my math suddenly fail me? Also just stop with the histrionics about the 1 getting nothing. The killers have been getting buffs and qol changes the last several patches and the survivors have gotten some nerfs.

But to you and some others on here it's bug fixes etc or didn't go far enough, it doesn't matter it's an improvement/buff. They could completely balance the game the way it should be yet the small vocal minority on here would still complain.

  • @Mycroft said:
Here's how broken SWF is. Even when you kill a survivor they're still in the match through spectating. Ghosting killer perks, spotting totems. The Kindred bug that's probably still there allowing everyone to see the killer.

So how does someone dead spot killer perks again? I mean they're dead so are they walking around in ghost form on the map finding totems? Lets not forget the dev post about lobbies % since if most matches are a 2 man swf and 2 solo's. How are those 2 solos communicating totems, how are the 2 swf communicating totems to more than 1 person?

How are the dead people communicating to people that aren't able to be communicated with if they're not in same group? Oh the 2 swf people are talking to each other about totem spawns, well you don't think they already said where totems were?

Someone brings a map with marker, hey totem is here, someone has Small Game etc etc.

    4 strangers = 30%
    2 friends + 2 strangers = 34.1%

    2 friends + 2 friends = 9.5%
    3 friends + 1 stranger = 17.9%
    4 friends = 8.5%

So 64.1% of the matches are either no one talking to each other or at most 2 people talking to each other. Now if both swf are dead well then no one is talking to those in game.

The matchmaking is very unbalanced when SWF comes up and they should not be facing killers in the newbie ranks, I'd really like to see an option to opt out of SWF completely. Give killers who opt into SWF double bp or some other incentive maybe.

I'd just like an indicator so i know if I can play trapper or not. Swf invalidates him

The whole gen rushing thing confuses me. Isn't finishing the gens literally the only thing survivors need to do to escape ? Why would they wait, to take in the scenery ? It's like complaining that the killer starts killing right away... :(

Gen rush exists due to a lack of objectives, yes. This isn't a player problem; it's a game design problem. That's why many players - on both sides - want more objectives for the Survivors.

This^ and most of us want and wouldn't mind having to scrounge for parts and or gas as a means to break the monotony. Sicne it's boring as feck to sit there and hold M1 for 80 seconds usually (pc). If they'd just add either or both of those objectives games would last longer and both sides would have a lot more fun.

You'd get more bp of course and killer wouldn't feel like they had to play Nurse/Billy and now Hag or run NOED/RUIN. You'd see a lot more builds getting used on both sides since maps would come into play to find stuff.

Small game or Plunderers Instinct depending on what category gas/parts fell under or perhaps both. The killers could use different perks to track the stuff perhaps from salvage piles. If you're running around well parts could be lost so you have to go back for more. The gas would be same way, run to that gen you lose a % of gas each step.

To really make it interesting you could make the gas be siphoned with skill checks from some of the cars or gas cans etc. If you fail you get an explosion and or lose the gas up to that skill check point etc.

  • You people are completely oblivious to the fact that @Peanits changed their avatar to the Spirit.

As I said PS4 usually does their updates on what Thursday or Friday so wouldn't that mean that'd be the date it comes out? Since they're trying to get stuff out on all platforms at the same time now that store is in place.

  • Pc rank 1-5 it happens as well sadly and I had a match where the killer ahd hooked everyone including me finally at least once and sometimes 2x. It was a Huntress on Crotus and it was a really long match and she camped. We all made it out with me and another person who'd took hits being last 2 out.

We got the safely exited symbol and took 3 steps and host rage quit which was funny yet sad because they'd easily pipped and quite possibly double pipped. They'd also lost between 25-40k given the amount of hits/downs/gens damaged and hooks done.

I've only ever seen killers do that a few times and have seen killers quit way more often after 30 seconds or when match loads and they don't like the map.

  • I was watching a pair of streams since 1 was a friend I'm made and 1 was someone who'd been in my matches. The latter was running a No Mither Claudette and was against a Doctor on Lery's. What caught my atttention is the Claudette streamer was also running Botany Knowledge along with Self Care.

Apparently and I don't know if this is true or not but Botany Knowledge helped speed up the Snap Out Of It progress. At least according to the streamer. Which brings up all sorts of interesting questions as well as ideas.

Is 5 enough data points for one to extrapolate to the entire game?

So when you use Marth or Tru as examples to buttress your arguments you say they back up your claims. But when someone else does it it's oh they're just a popular streamer. If that doesn't work you say well that's only 2 people and they're not representative. He IS the weakest killer we have. Yes, people can play good with him on rank 1. I achieved it myself. BUT that doesn´t mean that he´s strong. That just means that there are to many noob players on rank 1.
Freddy needs some love and now that the devs are reworking him, survivors claim that he´s OP? Like the last time? Where they nerfed him after 1 week. Haven´t they done enough damage? Do you guys really enjoy facing Nurse only on high ranks?

No that wasn't the point I got asked to name 4 people who played him well at rank one and posted 5 then the response was well you need more. I've already acknowledged he's the weakest killer many times but now it's obvious the people in here are just rolling.

They got what they asked for and now that they got it it's the typical Red Herring from them, they've lost any and all credibility they had. We all know that if i search long enough I could find thousands of people videos of solid rank 1 Freddy play.

But then they'll just change their argument again just like a certain poster is doing now. He knows I got his proof and now he's asking for more and if I get it hell just troll more. I knew you were one on here who'd done as have others and the troll knew I had proof so he changed his argument.

It's always well post proof you've gotten to rank 1, person posts proof then it's well anyone can get to rank 1 it's easy. You lot always do the same thing, move the goalposts when you get what you asked for.Oh and speaking of proof.

I could go on but the proof is staring you in the face. Then there's all the posters on the forums that have shown them doing it both with and without perks. They were called out for proof and when they did it got the same response.

Oh anyone can get to rank 1, rank means nothing etc, except when you use it to bash someone and call for proof it does.

One person? Nah. Need actual hard data. You're the one who always wants statistically relevant data, so it's time for you to present data in an amount that you see as valid. That person is a single data point. Is a single data point enough for an extrapolation?

Yep typical response from you, keep moving the goal posts and you conveniently yet again ignore all the threads where people posted rank 1 Freddy. That includes all the ones you and the other people asking for proof posted in.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jrGoYthIwI Monto, oh look that's 2 and you know there's a ton more but then you'll just make more excuses like normal.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rbs4l-VGZY $k no perks/no addons rank 1 Freddy.

    Oh look that's 3.

Well that's 4 and that doesn't count all the ones on the forum who posted proof.

Truetalent does what he does best because he's one of the best at capitalizing against survivor mistakes. Zubat is in the same league. If you ever get the opportunity to ask him he'll tell you he does what he does based off survivor mistakes, predictability.

Both of them have a ton of patience. It pays off for them.

I, on the other hand am like most people. No time to lay in wait for mistakes to naturally happen. I employ a rushdown style to try to force mistakes, which this game is horrific at providing tools for. It;s why most people regard Nurse and Billy the top two. Both are rushdown based. Huntress is more a hybrid. You don't have to engage with Huntress. You can snipe.

This is why so many people are left wanting more. Their style is not represented by a vast majority of character offerings.

Well at least you're honest now about it, some don't like that style of play which is where you get a lot of this killer is garbage stuff from. While others have the patience to play the long game and play saya Freddy or Trapper etc. To each his or her own but to say x killer is garbage because they don't fit your play style is wrong.

The Freddy's that I've gone up against at rank 1 and gotten destroyed by are the patient ones and those that play him to his fullest. The ones I've seen get destroyed try and play him like a regular killer which doesn't work. The Nurse/Billy are meant to pressure non stop while say Hag and Trapper or more about map control. I personally prefer Trapper, Pig is a of of fun and Myers grows on you.

I'm more of the stalker style and not the charge in full bore type when playing killer the same for survivor, being sneaky and devious is my style.

Because you keep posting the same stuffs too.

    https://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/reviews/

There we go, as you said peoples will make their opinions.

Opinions yes but saying something is fact or basically insinuating that it's fact is when I call them out. If you go look at the post i'd made in 1 of the review bomb threads way back when. I'd actually broken down the stats a good deal on the negative reviews done.

I'll eventually get around to finishing it since some were about dedicated servers and fixing the report system. Which we can all agree are needed along with dc issues and such.

There was a bunch from PS4 users review bombing it because of no connection. (That was due to Sony giving free DBD to all PS4 users that went pro/plus.) So a lot of reviews that were negative had in fact nothing to do with the patch nor were they survivors review bombing the game.

There was also a bunch from people PS4 users that played for less than an hour or sometimes only 1 match and complained about how op killers were. Although people do that here too but it's more measured.

Once I finally stop being lazy and go back and do a total review of the data I'll post it. When I went and did the 1st run I read every negative comment which is why i had such a good breakdown of the complaints. Well at least for the bunch that I did.

I always hear about these 3,4,5 blink Nurses and I myself never do it cause I don't see the benefit to looking at the ground for an hour. I don't use add ons. Nurse's add ons have been notoriously bad since launch.

Nurse gets owned at any rank if they're bad. That line representing Nurse is extraordinarily high across most the rasnks, it levels off then goes back up in red ranks. In all honesty going by their numbers Nurse needs a buff, but that's neither here nor there.

At it's core I view the discussions of Nurse's add ons a backdoor attempt to get her changed other ways. No one uses Nurse add ons. Not seriously any way.I mean we all remember a few patches ago when they made her useless, then reversed it, then said they'd re-introduce it at a later date.

For me, when people ask for nerfs to something my standard is is it to change something game breaking. Nurse isn't game breaking. Nurse is a game alternative

I run into 3-5 blink nurses at ranks 1-5 quite often and if the nurse can hit you within the 1st 2 blinks pretty regularly then they don't need the extra 2-3. I'm not looking to backdoor nerf her at all, if i want her nerfed into the ground i'll say it flat out.

Similar to my statements on SC, SB and DS and how they needed adjusting. If you know how to 2 blink and have 1 extra one that's one thing but 4-5 blinks is just plain stupid. I mean given how game ignoring she is mechanic wise. Who cares if she has longer fatigue since she's got her people down rather quickly still.

It's like a Billy with no cd on chainsaw and charging across the map at full speed and oh give him super steering while you're at it. (slight exaggeration there but the point is there)

Former is correct latter is the usual innuendo without facts. Since review bomb was done by both sides and a good portion of bad reviews had nothing to do with the patch itself. there wa also a ton of bad reviews from both sides from people who were playing for free and had less than an hour played.

So he need proofs and data to back up what he said, while you don't need to and can spew as much non-sense as you want.

"I saw the review bombs, it was as much killer than survivors, i saw it !"

And me, i saw exclusively the usual survivors stereotype (the majority) doing it, with their usual childish language and attitude.

    See ? Easy.

At least i can say i saw all form of trolling during my life lul.

You post the same stuff in response every time yet the proof is on the steam review page for all to see. He made an assumption so now you're claiming it's facts when I said nothing of the sort. But if you want to prove me wrong since you brought up facts post some. Oh and not your usual made up ones either.

I wouldn't consider true a top player, he just plays a lot. I watch him all the time and he makes a TON of mistakes.

While that's true he's also usually used as an example by some of the same ppl when he agrees with them. There's countless others out there with rank 1 Freddy video but I'm not going to post them all. But the people I responded to knew the proof was there, they just thought they'd troll me into silence.

What that you finally reached prestige 3?

I'm going to assume you've never watched Carrie and end this conversation early.

    Great movie.

  • Nurse, Billy, Bubba, Hag are all good with it even Trapper but that's map dependent.

Now if you really want someone op as feck with it run it on Myers and some other neat stuff.

  • Hospital map with elevators and just when you think you snuck away the doors open and you see this.

Oh and make it at least 2 stories with elevators but they make a lot of noise to use and are slow. Also Doctor can't shock through floors/ceilings like on Gideons. But to make it fair killers move faster on the stairs and when using an elevator.

I like that map when I'm a survivor and usually as a killer, but if I happen to be playing the Nurse - I'll admit, I sometimes just disconnect - especially if I've already had a few rough games.

Really? I thought the nurse thrived on that map.

It turns nearly every blink into a blind guess. It's also a horrible map for Hillbilly.

It's a great map for Myers, Hag, and Pig though.

I'm sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but I think if they cut a few more holes in the hedges and fences Haddonfield would be one of the most balanced maps.

Well played billy's destroy on Lery's since they can move super fast and if using a controller turn better then Bubba.

  • I enjoy the stealthy playstyle but a lot of killers and survivors both in game and on the forums think it's toxic or unfun. In game both sides have threatened to report me for playing stealthy which i laugh at. The killers because I evaded them and didn't run around blindly in the open. The survivors for the same reason because i evaded the killer and didn't blindly run around in the open.

Some good examples are killers camping, I notice it right away so I skulk off and do gens. The other 1-2 decide to take the bait and run blindly in and get downed. I keep plugging away on gens and escape via gate or hatch. Afterwards I get a torrent of flaming about being too immersed or sacrificing teammates etc.

It's like why didn't you come to save us/them well duh you were camping in the basement, I'm not stupid nor am I giving you 4k for doing nothing. Well you obviously didn't/don't care about your team mates, no I cared about them enough not to let give you free kills.

Both sides say don't reward the camper, tehn both sides bash the person playing stealthy for being unfun and not rewarding said camper.

  • @Maxi605 said:
I Agree, Survivors can let the game run for hours...

So can killer when they camp the hatch that spawns next to both exit gates. The killers that block a survivor in the basement. There's many other examples of both sides being jerks but lets not blame just one side here. It's definitely more prevalent on the survivor side sadly.

If both exit gates are open then give a countdown till game ends say 5 minutes but the gates need to be at least a certain distance apart. The games on small maps or even large maps where both gates are within
15 -30 meters of each other shouldn't count. The same is true for the hatch, all 3 should spawn equidistance away from each other once a timer is implemented in the game.

So at say 1 minute left if those conditions are met the killer will see the survivors aura. At 30 seconds the killer gets NOED and can mori the survivor on the spot and get full credit for a sacrifice. When the timer runs out the survivor is instantly sacrificed to the entity and the killer is given full credit for the sacrifice.

To also ensure survivors get out all hooks can't be sabo'd ( they don't give points but ppl will try and be dicks sometimes), all chests are locked. Also all totems that aren't connected to a hex ie no hex perks were chosen by the killer are non cleansable.

Once both exit gates are completely open and not blocked by Bloodwarden the timer will also stop giving points to survivors for sticking around. That is unless they're actually being chased by the killer as in gates are opened and killer is after someone.

So say that the killer is waiting on the last 2 people to exit and they're just screwing around, well the longer they screw around the less points they'll get. As an example the killer has gotten 2k and the other 2 are home free so killer goes afk in basement. The 2 remainers just run around screwing around, so the timer starts counting down and they get a notice they'll start losing points in x time.

Now this is where a killer give up option would come into play, the killer can choose to give up/end match. They're ready to move on gg and all, so a 2 minute timer starts to countdown. All remaining survivors are healed to full and given a 10 sec SB with a timer to get out.

If any stay and try to screw around after that they're instantly sacrificed and the killer is given credit as if they'd done the hooked them a 3rd time ie the sacrifice. During the timer the killer is in a separate area and is invisible and immune to any detection.

However if the killer is the one doing the screwing around then they lose all points gained during the match, ie blocking survivors into the basement and not taking any offensive action. This ones harder to police and is more rare.

I hate to be one to call someone out, but you've entirely supported my points towards a lack of stealth meta whilst simultaneously complaining about it as if it's the Nurse's fault. The fact these perks (Iron Will, Calm Spirit etc) aren't chosen in the first place, means there is perhaps intention to sustain stealth throughout the game (as always is with arguably most survivors at the moment, me included.) The fact there is a lack of stealth meta is perhaps a large contributing factor to the Nurses current strength (I'm not saying entirely, but it's strong, there are many variables), because, as I previously stated above

the Nurse is weakest, due to the reliance she has on line of sight.

As stealth meta lacks, the Nurse has plenty of room to strive in gameplay is what I'm trying to say. It can't exactly be her fault that the current survivor meta benefits her to a large extent, yet here people are complaining about her strength, not accounting for their gameplay and how it could perhaps be their change which would be more beneficial to their survival, rather than damaging the Killer.

**Oh i agree totally on the lack of stealth meta but then you go stealthy you get doctor and even with calm spirit you still jump up in the air and scream, silently but you're still visible. My point was that some are suggesting that's how you counter nurse is with those perks well you run those and you go against someone else that counters those. You don't know you're up against a nurse at all so to say run those to counter her is disingenuous.
I'd love for a stealth style game but Doctor and current maps among other things make that really difficult. I've run super stealthy builds before and the killer will let 5 gens go just to tunnel and hard camp me. When I'm in games with someone running a super stealthy build the killer tunnels and hard camps them.

The real question is who is harder to face: Nurse or Doctor.. Perks are up to you to choose and if you struggle against doctor more than run perks against doctor cause apparently doctor would be harder than nurse for that individual person. Vice versa for nurse, if the person struggles more against nurses than run perks to help against her if you encounter her.

Well therein lies the problem, you don't know who you're going up against before hand, if you did you could run the best perks that you like.

Are you serious? No I’m not! I want survivors who are trying to run through the exit, or escaping through hatch, to die like they are supposed to if they have a trap on their head. That’s what is supposed to happen!

You getting out with a trap on is not FAIR. Pig gameplay is 90% Tunneling? You must be a rank 20. Tunneling doesn’t exist. If you can’t lose the killer, that is your fault, if you are wounded and are prioritized as the easiest target, that’s your fault, literally bypassing an ability that the pig has is the stupidest argument. You are clearly biased and shouldn’t be on the balance feedback forum.

inb4 Pig gets cucked by Survivors removing the RBT in their first Jigsaw Box

    happens to me a lot
one of the reasons I don't play her so often

I feel you since when I'm pig the boxes are always practically on top of hooks or right next to them. The survivors almost always get them off on 1st box. When I'm playing I'm usually dead most of the time due to trap exploding. This is after trying 2-4 boxes and the pig will camp that last one knowing it's the one I need, especially if others got their's off.
