I find it really funny that two or three of these envelopes pop up on every bloodweb and you can't use them after the event ends.
I know right?? I have so many of them. It would be cool if the event ended, & you get a BP refund for all unused envelopes.

Why would survivors get off a gen to try and save someone who's being camped to death by the killer? They should be doing the exact opposite and staying on the gen.
They don’t know that the survivor is being camped until they get there, & once the other survivors see that someone is hooked, and not being rescued they come running, unless it’s a SWF but they are already there with flashlights. Sometimes it works, other times not, the point is though, killers don’t usually want to camp.
-
i think they should make the killers more terrifying, amp up the heartbeat, darken the screen, each killer has a specific scary music during chases, the survivors constantly trip over stuff, and fall. That’s the world I one day wanna live in.

It is a crime that Blight can pick up survivors but Victor can't.
I would love to see Victor carrying a survivor 😂

Ofc killers would still camp and tunnel, there is no penalty for doing so so why should they stop?
No killer wants to camp, it’s just as boring as doing Gens. The reason for camping (outside of being a new player) is to get survivors off Gens to come rescue, and slow down Gen progression. Plain and simple. Granted there are those that just like camping, but it’s really not fun at all.

@Saltjar34 said:
It's not gen times that needs to be nerfed, it's base regression that needs to be buffed
Yes! The Gens speeds can stay the same, but if a survivor leaves a Gen it starts regressing at Hex: Ruin speeds, but without the totem. Ruin can just be buffed to make Gens regress faster.

I've been noticing FPS drops a bunch as survivor on ps4. Lots of triggers that have been in for awhile (hit with sloppy butcher, gen complete, survivor hooked, survivors screaming from madness, Doctor madness on self, indoor maps, after chest has finished being searched and picking up the item, going into Freddy dreamworld...) but now some new ones like if teammate is running perk that'll activate on my HUD like leader or streetwise I will get a stutter, when a killer uses Oppression while I'm working on gen with teammate the skill check will freeze wicked bad, and while I'm unhooking someone it stutters a bunch.
Yes! That’s a perfect example. A stutter during certain actions. It happens all the time! I’m curious if the new solid state consoles would get rid of that, because those things are difficult to recover from.

Killer and surv rank 1 here with 5000 hours. Can someone tell me their experience with overcharge? I used it for 10 matches before removing it. I think it that amount of time someone failed the "tremendously hard" skill check 3 times in 10 matches, I haven't played against it in ages but is the skill check even remotely difficult??

The first gen has no impact on the entire match though. By that time they already depleted their toolboxes and you knew where they were. Not saying that is a very good start for you but it could be worse.
Thanks for the tips, but I wasn’t showing the pic as a complaint, just as a matter of similarity.

- Open the exit gate immediately instead of 99%
- Leave and don't help save teammates during EGC
- Can't do any objective while injured
- Heals immediately once injured
- Once unhooked, runs a 5k before stopping to be healed
- Runs the killer directly to people doing gens
- Extended crouching, standing or duck walking (Urban Evasion)
What else do you see as characteristics?
Now that’s funny! The 5k one, hilarious!

All I see in the videos that are posted are either lag or sync issues. Not one video proves it was hacking. Now if you show me videos of survivors going through walls and using speed hacks then I'll believe.
But other then those type of hacks. It's most likely just either lag or sync issues most of the time.
Insta Gens seems to be a thing lately I’ve experienced, but sneaky like, not blatantly obvious. Like only when the game is lost do the untouched Gens start popping.

surge is my favorite gen control perk, but i think it could be better with just 2 changes.
- reduce the cooldown of surge from 40 to 30
- remove the "basic attack" requirement for surge to activate (it would be so fun to land a cross map hatchet and stop a generator from popping lol)
what do you think of these suggestions and what would you do to give surge a little buff?
I don’t really understand why surge has a cool down in the first place. There shouldn’t be a cool down at all. Kinda silly

"I've successfully mastered the desync as a killer."
So, you've mastered hitting survivors? The killer's screen doesn't look different from old gameplay. On their screen, they are getting the same hits. Not sure how you can "master" a thing that was already in the game.
It's only screwed up on the survivor's end. You as a killer have no way of knowing where they were on their screen unless you had Franklin's and they had an item.
It’s was sarcasm... So many survivors keep saying that killers are taking advantage of the desync, even though... yea, you get it.

Playing killer is a lot more fun and satisfying (for me at least), but it can also be a lot more stressful since you have literally zero downtime and the amount of information you need to keep track of is immense. Managing your time and information is key; it's okay to give up on chases if the survivor is sticking to safe loops like glue or if you need to go defend your gens.
There are little tricks you can use to help keep track of where survivors are: if someone gets saved from a hook and healed 16 seconds later you can reasonably expect that they and the person who rescued and healed them are going to jump on the nearest gen together. If you can keep track of where you hooked them and how fast they were healed you'll know where to find them. This kind of information is crucial.
Expect to lose gens early on but make up for it later as the survivors have fewer gens to do and fewer pallets to run to. I often hear new killers getting dismayed because they lose 1-3 gens in the first couple minutes. This is totally normal and you always always have time to make a comeback.
The most valuable skills you can learn are how to down survivors quickly. This is a big topic and I can't explain it all here but as other people have said you can check out streamers to see what they can teach you. I particularly recommend Otzdarva (https://www.youtube.com/c/notOtzdarva/videos). Mindgaming your red glow to give survivors less time to react is important, but the best advice to winning chases I can give you is to be precise rather than fast. It's always worth taking the extra second to ensure you'll get the hit rather than attacking immediately and getting 360'd/Dead-Harded.
Perfect example of your statement about not getting bummed if you lose gens early. Playing Trapper on Red Forest... Difficult to say the least. Lost all my Gens, exit gates open, had a guy on the hook, put three traps around him so I could try and maybe get another down elsewhere, before I even left the area, my traps caught all 3 of the remaining survivors. Left the match with a 4K. Glorious!
-
All excellent tips, & tricks stated above! One thing to mention though, if you don’t have bad temper, just give it some time, you will. Some survivors can be jerks at the higher levels, you WILL get bullied, and at times lucky to get hits much less hooks. The frustration is REAL! Hopefully your frame rate, and internet is good, because the slightest hiccup will cause you to smack a tree, or end up on the wrong end of a loop. It’s massively frustrating at times. That’s why when I get fed up, I bring Franklins, or play Trapper. Fun times!

So we have:
* "Shroud of Separation"
* "Murky Reagent"
* "Hazy Reagent"
* "Faint Reagent"
* "Clear Reagent"
* "Cut Coin"
* "Scratched Coin"
* "Annotated Blueprint"
* "Vigo's Blueprint"
* "Strode Realty Key"
And you are still calling Mori offerings -- useless? How dare you?!
Killers have the have the same crap you mentioned as well, minus the coins, but the coins give you items to help in the chests, Mori’s just waste time. Quicker to hook than to Mori. Dark mist bottles are better than Mori’s now.
-
I just think Gens should have Ruin regression always, without the Ruin totem. If a survivor leaves the gen, it starts regressing.

Okay so, camping the hook its something that a lot of killers does and I think there's should be a change. So, if a killer stay in an area like 20-30 metters of the hook, it freezes, stopping the countdown. That would be fair because, most of this kind of plays ruin the fun of the players and for that, you will need to change some perks that stops the countdown. Camping will also make the killer lose, and I think putting that freeze thing, it will help killers get better and making more pressure on the map. Its my suggestion, if you don't like it don't need to "attack" me.
Hook camping is the same as gen rushing. Survivors objective is to complete gens as fast as possible, killers job is to kill survivors. That’s how it works. Hook camping helps pressure survivors to stop working on gens.

There's a player who plays as Leatherface and even has a name "Me Bubba Camps you" or something like that.
He stands by the hook until the survivor dies and if someone tries to rescue he is hitting them both with his chainsaw.
The other survivors don't care they hide or just fixing gens.
I reported him but i have no idea how long he has been around.
I ran into him 3 times in a row!
When players like him is going to get banned?

There's no problem with DH I've never lost a game because someone used DH. I just can't believe how many people are salty about DH. Especially with the desync issues where I can literally hit a survivor around a corner. Learn how to chase, learn how to force a survivor out of position, and just get better at the game.
I'm saying it now if you have a problem with DH as a killer then you just aren't good at killer and you should probably spend less time complaining and more time working on improving. In my eyes killers who complain about DH are the equivalent of a salty face camper that loses every game. Get Good.
Spoken like a true survivor.... Killers don’t know they are hitting a survivor from far away, nor can they plan for it. To a killer, a survivor looks like they are right in front of him. So quit posing as a survivor in killers clothing. If you wanna argue about DH just do it without the posing.

Eb. Mori are not that toxic powerful, unfortunately, but they still open a useful gameplay options. They can save u from the second hook DS, and also enable some options like killing the survivor at the open gates, killing the survivor in the face of the hooked survivor or transporting (with agitation) and killing survivors in the same place on the map, like making a pile of bodies. Those options above are still fun!
Yea, just meme’s, & gimmicks. No real strategy value. I’m just saying why have a useless offering? Maybe turn the Mori into a Mori hook? I have no idea what to do with it really, I suppose it’s just fun to play around with.

Survivor Bloodwebs are flooded with stuff which is not worth the points. I guess Killers can afford to have one thing that became less useful, especially since they have a way higher BP-gain.
Let alone that using a Mori is still better than not having a Mori, easy tunnel after the second Hook without any fear of DS or Flashlight/Pallet Saves.
Its fine that Moris are not that much more than an animation. They should have never been so powerful in the first place.
Point on the picture, and show where the Mori touched you.

First of, no this isn't intended as bait.
Second: We all joke about dbd being an M1/W simulator, but, cross your heart, what elements of gameplay are there?
Like, the devs are adding in challenges now that have you find something on the field, but... The blightflower was a bit of a mess as it often gave killers a free down, and the glyph is... not really changing things up either.
So, what is there to do in the game?
Face camp survivors with NOED is fun, or my personal favorite, Franklins on any killer, with Insidous, fun for hours. That’s why Trapper is so fun, the game always seems more quiet when playing the Trapper until you hear it “Ahhhh” trap successful!

- Freddy - Most powerful killer in the game, which is why everyone hates him
- Bubba - Second most powerful killer in the game, especially after his rework. I'm a freakin surgeon with that chainsaw. Nothin is more fun than mindgaming survivors in loops/junglegyms while sweeping with the chainsaw
- Myers - His addons are the most powerful in the game and he's one of the only killers I can regularly 3-4k with using all of his teachable perks
- Clown - IDK what it is about him but I can just end chases so quickly with him and I've mastered tossing his potions. I played him a lot before the recent update and his rework is perfect! The changes to his addons. reload time, and the new potions are AMAZING!
- Pyramid Head - I just like how smoothly and quickly he seems to walk when I play him, it feels like I'm a freakin shark. His power is also super powerful and I love getting the free hits on jungle gyms etc I also love getting sneaky hits with punishment of the damned like hitting people from behind walls etc
Piggy was a top contender for a spot but her rush attack is only useful on the first hit in the game and barely sees any action afterwards and once her traps run out she's basically an M1 killer unless you want to experience the POV of a lawnmower the rest of the game in exchange for stealth and a painfully delayed rush attack.
Trapper would make it to my top five if they ever reworked him and made it so he starts the game with all of his traps as base kit.
GF would be cooler if his stalk could peek from under/around more objects.
The Trapper right!! He should start with all of his traps, it’s so silly having to gather traps for half the game. The POV lawnmower Piggy was hilarious! I lol’d.

You would be thinking wrong. I'm not trying to be mean, but you do need to understand that NOED is used by all level of Killers. More experienced Killers who take it have specific plans, and are often doing what is called an End Game build. Some top Killers who face Red Rank SWF frequently throw them in because when you are facing a fast Gen-Rush with highly coordinated and motivated individuals, it is nice to have an Insta-Down.
It would be unwise to assume that only Potato Killers use it. It would be better to assume that it could show up at anytime, but with one key difference, experienced Killers are going to use it BETTER. For example, if/when I run NOED (and it isn't a common Perk for me as I'm not huge on the End Game builds) I will purposely ignore their Looper(s) all game. No matter how hard they try to get me to chase them I just decline and focus on the others. After all, their loopers are often NOT on Generators as they try to waste my time. What this means is that when we get to the End Game they generally have less fear of me, have no idea how I loop, and suddenly their first hook is also their final hook.
There are different strategies and styles of play. NOED just thrown in is the sign of a Potato Killer. NOED selected as part of a strategy to be applied during the entire match is going to be far more effective.
I guess that’s a way to look at it, but in red ranks, all survivors are highly motivated gen rushers. It’s difficult to accept making a build specifically relying on a perk that may get you an end game insta down. In the red ranks, as soon as the survivors see you’ve downed 1 with NOED, they are going to find that totem. Seems like a waste of a good perk spot just to get one survivor down.

Yes, I'm referring to all 3 of you, with the except of one particular streamer because I already know the answer from him (spoiler: it's because he's a bad person).
Why do you all tunnel people with active head traps on?
Now, I'm not talking about being chased twice in a match tunneling. Nor am I referring to accidental tunneling where you've got so much momentum that you've lost track of who's just been hooked and who hasn't. I mean hardcore, will ignore other survivors bodyblocking you, level of tunneling. I mean going for nobody but you until you're dead level of tunneling. So, in other words, actual tunneling.
Like, from the perspective of a non-Pig main, it makes sense to chase other people, doesn't it? The people without active head traps will be the people repairing the generators, so why wouldn't you chase them down? Even if you just slug the person with a headtrap, you'd still get more value by chasing someone hat-less than one with a party hat, wouldn't it? You'd remove 2 people from generators temporarily instead of just 1.
And don't get me started on why they just re-hook you afterwards. Like, what's the point of the head trap if you're just going to ignore everyone else and only hook one survivor? The traps are there to help create pressure and slow down the game, so why are you killing the one person with them on?
It genuinely baffles me so if any Pig mains, or Pig players in general, can answer that question, I'd be very thankful.
Thanks.
It really doesn’t make sense, the timer isn’t counting down while in a chase, or downed, or on a hook. However, if I notice a survivor has had the trap on for a bit, I will seek them out, and crouch follow to watch their face explode. So word of advice, if you’re wearing the hat, and being followed by a crouching pig, make sure you get that chase music, or you will die. Horribly. Face explosion.

Just had someone complain to me about using shadowborn. First it was someone complaining about STBFL, and survivors tend to degrade themselves into complaining about shadowborn. How low can we go? Is monstrous shrine next?
You must’ve beat them pretty good lol. If you would’ve ran the match perkless they would’ve called your weapon a crutch.
-
I don’t think experienced killers use NOED unless they are doing a gimmick like NOED, & Blood Warden. It’s just a waste of perk slots. There are much better perks to use. So if you’re facing a killer that uses it, either they are new to the game or you are. I guess you could be facing a disgruntled killer who just wants to smash some survivor hopes, & dreams because of an earlier bad beat, but that’s going to be few and far between.

Are you also console? As the people that seem to be unaffected by the issues are on PC. I loved when the map was disabled recently. I hate that it’s now back. 😂
I play on console, but Xbox, & have no real issues with the lighting. Now the old meat plant downstairs, that was dark, especially if facing blendettes. I would just swing, & hope for the best.
-
Killers are experiencing the same issues, just more survivors play this game, and their voice is louder. I’ve swung at survivors so close they could’ve been giving me a piggy back ride, & hit nothing but air. It’s a desync all the way around, but I’m positive that hits, or misses are legit. I mean you have to know that a killer isn’t just swinging from 30 feet away relying on the desync to secure the smack. Right?
-
All the killers are fun once you learn them. My least fav would be Oni because I play on console, & the least little fragmented frame rate can have you slamming that beat stick into a wall, or a tree while the survivor tea bags you from the other side of a window for being so silly.
-
The pallets in that level are super annoying now depending on what killer you’ve chosen, but if you have the right killer, it’s cake. I always run Doc, & Freddy with the fake pallet dealio. It’s cool to see a survivor dead hard into a fake pallet just to have their hopes, & dreams shattered with the fakeness of their would be savior. Also, plague actually does well in that level, along with the blight, & of course nurse. Trapper, Ghost Face, Clown, & Pig seem to be the only ones completely immobilized by those pallets. Even the twins with Vic can be utilized if you are good a jumping pallets with Vic.
-
Dead Hard is fine, it helps survivors a bit, but not that much. I had a survivor dead hard in the middle of my Blight rush, did not help that survivor at all. It was actually quite glorious!
-
What’s wrong with camping? That is Bubs cup of tea right there. If a killer camps it’s either because they are new, or just desperate to get points/kills. It’s annoying sure, but so is gen rushing. You take the good, you take the bad, you take the strokes, and there we have The Facts of Life.
