  • It’s pretty easy IMO, I wish it were longer with more rewards. 100 levels instead of 70

You can do that with for the peepo and/or a good medkit and/or unbreakable. But it's a pain. I've actually got it first time 'cause the killer was greedy and I unbreakabled away and got a slug up.

I don’t play survivor much (only to do tome challenges) so I’m stuck with whatever perks they come with.

  • The one where you had to heal a downed survivor was the worst one for me

as a killer main i hate to say this but i feel like he is just a little op. i haven't gotten under 3 survivors in any games with him. Maybe I just have really lucky matches but i am rank 3 but idk i want to hear what other people think. I'm also on console keep that in mind

    Is anything you said true?

    Fix the damn FPS drops

It's insane how MANY hits, chases or even games i've lost because i got FPS drops at the worst possible time

It's embarrassing that we still have to deal with this crap

Ugh, this happens so often with the FPS drops. I’m lined up to hit, and all of a sudden I’m wizzing the air.

  • Yes, this bug is confusing because as I am chasing a wounded survivor, I still hear the sounds of a sacrificed survivor, and it throws the chase off because I start chasing fantom survivors.

Yeah, this one time I was repairing this generator. I don't like the dark all that much so getting the power back is a priority. Then all of the sudden this [bad word] [bad word] in a pig mask comes out of nowhere and pulls me off the [bad word] generator. She drops me on the [bad word] ground and puts this [bad word] helmet on my head and leaves me to bleed out like a [bad word].

Now I have this [bad word] helmet locked on my [bad word] head and this [bad word] [bad word] mother [bad word] [bad word] beeping [bad word] [bad word] won't turn off! It's driving me m......

    Love it 😂

I don't understand why they added more grindy survivor challenges and reduced the number of killer challenges...

Sacrifice 15 survivors, hook 24 survivors, and destroy 24 pallets? How is that a reduction?

  • Go with what you feel man

I was playing a match with Bubba where I faced againts 4 survivor. During the match there was an Ace guy and after he sprint while I was away when I try to kill him with my chainsaw sweep he just run even faster. Moreover whenever I faced him my connection starts to decreased and the last is I was using Tinkerer and I was really close to the gen that tinkers. The gen tinkered I came here in 2 sec maybe 3 and there was no one. I dced the game and reported them all and they were like "you suck, dont cry". I am just asking you am I paranoid and this kinds of things are normal or is it really a hack?

“The Gen that Tinkers” - Quote of the day!

Hex: The Third Seal: A Hex that hinders one's Aura-reading ability and instills ignorance. Hitting a Survivor with a Basic Attack while the Hex Totem is active applies the Blindness and Oblivious status effects. This effect applies to the last 2/3/4 survivors hit. The effect persists as long as the Hex Totem lasts.

Coulrophobia: Your presence alone instils great fear. Survivors within your Terror Radius have a 30/40/50 % penalty to the Healing progression speed, and a 22/24/26% Healing item efficiency decrease.

Overcharge: You are fuelled by your hate for progress. Overcharge a Generator by performing the Damage Generator action. The next Survivor interacting with that Generator is faced with 2 tremendously difficult Skill Checks. Failing the skill checks result in additional 3/4/5% loss of progress.

Mindbreaker: Your distressing presence drains and weakens your prey. While repairing Generators Survivors are afflicted by the Exhausted and Hindered status effect. Any existing Exhaustion timers will be paused during repairing. After ending the repairing action, the Survivor is afflicted by Exhausted for 5/10/15 seconds, and Hindered for 2/3/4 seconds.

Hex: Blood Favor: A Hex that gains the favour of The Entity when blood is spilt.

When a Survivor is hit with a Basic Attack, all Pallets and Windows within a radius of 32 meters of your location are held in place by The Entity for 15/15/20 seconds and cannot be pulled down by Survivors.

Hex: Blood Favor has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

Beast of Prey: Your lust for a kill is so intense that your connection with the Entity is momentarily lost, making you totally unpredictable.

After ending a chase, gain the Undetectable status effect for 10/15/20 seconds. After starting a new chase, the effect goes away.

Beast of Prey has a 60/50/40 seconds cooldown.

I see you picked all the best perks? What exactly did you want to rework?

  • I think the rift is awesome. Breaks up the monotony, and gives something else to do. I wish the rift challenges were doubled, even tripled, and more frequent.

Same and I even use better together too, but it only seems to attract my teammates whenever the killer is following them

That’s funny because it’s so true

  • @Afius said:

I'm fine with the rift being grindy it's for premium cosmetics whatever. But having perks ( a major part of the game) require you to devote hundreds of hours to play is bogus. You could buy all the characters but still have to spend hours to get the full experience of trying out different perk combinations.

That is really the only point to this game though. Not that I am advocating how tedious the grind can be, but once you’ve (is it grinded, or ground? Grinded doesn’t sound right, nor does ground, ######### man??) gotten all the BP’s needed to have all the perks, and such, what’s next? Nothing, game over.

  • @D3spair said:

BHVR can't you guys make the overall grind lesser for newer players or Player who has jobs? I work like 8 hours on weekdays and I can't see how to get my remaining killer to get all the Perks or Complete the tome by the current deadline. I'm just speculating here but are you guys intentionally making the tome grindy af so that people like me buy auric cells to raise it??

Anyone else with the same sentiments? Not everyone is a streamer who can play the game 12 hours everyday or not everyone wants to play 12 hours a day just to grind!

I honestly do not see it being that “grindy”. I’m already at tier 61, and not even in the third part yet. Have you gone back to other tomes, and worked those challenges? I too have a job working 60 hours a week, and am able to complete the tiers easily. If you are new I’m sure you have all the previous time challenges open

  • @golubushka08 said:

We need 1 item to fight against the killer, at least 1 use per match. NEW ITEM idea to be a bat found in the BW and we can use it 1 time per match. If the killer is carrying a survivor he will let go if another survivor hit him with that bat. Also you can hit him in a chase if you hide behind a wall and you can hit him before he hits you. And you stun him 3/4/5 seconds.

It will be fun, what do you think?

If survivors get a bat, then killers can move the Gens. They are already on wheels so it shouldn’t be an issue. A survivor hits the Doc with a bat, and runs away? The Doc pushes the Gen the survivor was working on into the basement. Balance!

  • Jason could have a stalk ability similar to Myers, but the more he stalks the slower the survivor gets. So he would have a 110 speed always. Survivors would have stalk meters, that would count down similar to the Trickster knives as they are being stalked. Getting a full meter on survivor means they are basically walking, until they get hit. Of course it would degrade over time, to avoid just stalking everyone to walking speed, and slugging them all.

The perks would take more thought.

  • Less solid hedges. How can a hedge stop a charging Oni? Let’s be realistic here

  • If Jason were to come to DBD, what would his power/perks be?

  • @Bastard_Disaster said:

Yeah, hadn't played killer in a while so went back but all I got was 4 man swf squads with insta heals and matching meta perks.

Flashlight clicking all the way to the exit gates.

I'm just trying to do better as killer guys, you don't need to all run around flashlight clicking because you know you've won, holding the game hostage at one gen left.

Dude, every time you get mad at a SWF, just remember how funny they look when they go into the dying state. Have you noticed the animation when a survivor goes into the dying state? They almost spin in the air, freakin hilarious!

  • SWF’s aren’t always bad. I’ve noticed that SWF’s have similarities to newer players (level 10-15) They dive bomb the hooked survivor because they feel compelled to save their buddy. They goof off a lot which allows more downs, & hooks. You can always expect a flash light guy around the corner when you down someone. So they are fairly predictable. The ones to be worried about is like a two man SWF with 2 solos, or any combination of that. That scenario is a straight up Gen rush. No screwing around, and having fun. Just getting in and getting out.

Even with trap darkening add ons, without grass I find indoor maps a challenge with trapper... Am curious to know your strategy.

I typed a response to this which was lengthy, but it was deleted for some reason, and o don’t want to do it over, so I will summarize by saying the doorways are tiny, and abundant, survivors aren’t always watching where the step indoors.

Extremely annoying and makes me yearn for the good ol' days when there was no d/c penalty. Not only did I likely wait 5+ minutes only to be met with someone wanting to goof around and have "fun", I'm trapped in that match unless I want to eat a 5+ minute penalty. Split the queues between casual and ranked/competitive. Please and thank you.

    Casual/Competitive! I’m behind that 100%

  • Trapper bags that hold 2 extra traps, the darkest trap dye, or quick trap setting , and an indoor map offering. Middle school, Hawkins, or Leary’s. As long as have that, I could care less about perks. Maybe Enduring.

  • To me, on my head phones with Xbox, Macmillan’s are the worst maps, I’m always investigating fire barrels because the slight crick before the crackle sounds like foot steps.

This makes me think weird sound settings/setup issues or weird trolling.

Assuming using headphones check window sound settings they should be set to 2 channel stereo not the others, and under speaker properties make sure all enhancements are disabled if that option appears for you as well as making sure to turn off spatial options. If you have a 3rd party program for your audio check the settings in that making sure it is also set to 2 channel stereo and to disable enhancements especially virtual surround options, THX, and spatial options.

I play on Xbox. I don’t think I have those sound setting options, If I do, I have no idea where they are.

Before the Undying nerf I played a match where I equipped Detective's Hunch and cleansed all 5 totems in less than 2 minutes. All alone, because my teammates were memeing around. Wasn't really hard.

Even small game. I equip small game constantly to cleanse totems because of extra bloodpoints.

  • @TAG said:

Screw Hex perks. I'm of the opinion that all Hex perks should be re-worked/re-balanced into non-Hex perks. Get that variance/swinginess outta here. Find something else to do with Totems.

That’s why I said make Hex’s offerings instead of perks. If you choose to bring a Hex offering, a totem is lit up. If you don’t, it stays dull

  • You tell me. What perks would be good to have as offerings instead of perks? DS? Since it’s one time use. Whatever works.

  • Hex Totems should be changed to offerings in the blood web instead of perks. I’d trade a darker mist offering for a 40 second Hex totem.

  • Hex Perks are basically useless. A waste of a perk slot. Any value from these totems will usually only be gained in 1 or every 10 matches. Today I tried playing around with Hex Third Seal, just goofing off with off brand builds. 4 games played, 4 games that totem was cleaned in less than 40 seconds. What’s the point at all with Hex Totems? Just get rid of them.

  • Welcome to Console Land. Enjoy your stay.

Yeah man, I play both, and believe me, it goes both ways. In terms of stressful gameplay, Killer beats out Survivor by a long shot.

Indeed. Killer play feels like work, survivor play feels like a vacation. As a killer, if you stop for a second to scratch your face, 3 gens are done 😔. As a survivor, you can hide behind a tree, go to the bathroom, come back, & 3 gens are done 🙂

  • I think there should be two modes “Casual” and “Competitive” Competitive would grant double the blood points.

Its unbelievable to give me some Survs with Rank 1 and Stuff. My eyes are bleeding of this ######### at the Moment. If u work on a Rank System so make it fair. I have to play as a new player vs a lot of people who are better and they have a lot more experience in game. If u have to do this, to dont let DbD dying so its already dead. I hope you work hard on this game or u nearly get no job. Have a nice evening, day or whatever

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/8YMI8Z4AKITX/dbd-bestes-ranking-system-png.png

Hey man, at least you got that level 4 disguised as a level 20. What you are showing is a huge exploit I think. High levels queue up with a very low level to get low ranked killers, & at level 20. Hopefully this can be eliminated, and pair survivors with the highest rank on the team.

  • This could be an idea for the Trickster. Since he is called the Trickster (without tricks, or are the “tricks” meaning “turning tricks”, like he’s selling himself for money) he could make lockers like Iron Maiden’s or something. A survivor opens a locker, and gets a face full of knives.

  • @malloymk said:

It's a double edged sword. No way tp communicate effectively pre match. This goes both ways. But from the survivor perspective, you don't know if the killer is going to to slug at 5 gens, tunnel the first guy out of the game, camp, or choose some strategy that will significantly hurt the team if you aren't pushing gens. So to avoid a likely loss, you go into the match assuming the killer is going to play like a hard-ass.

Same with killer, many games I lose but also many games I find myself with a quick snowball or just happen upon the low rank survivor that puts them behind the 8ball. If in pregame you could get a vibe against what you're up against it may effect how serious you take the game. That's why killers feel compelled to slug early and that's why survivors ignore totems, chests, often times let their teammates go into phase two if they can crank a couple gens out.

Both sides probably don't want to sweat, but when they don't they often pay for it.

This is a great explanation. As a killer, I’d be happy with 8 hooks, 5 completed Gen, so fun chases, & everyone escapes. With BBQ 55-60k BP’s a match. I’d totally be down with that.

  • Watch Scott Jund’s thoughts on the Trickster. I think he summed it up the best as a watered down version of the Plague. He also made a good point about the knife damage. It shouldn’t degrade over time. It should stay that way unless healed, or downed. You could spend a lifetime in an LT loop trying to down survivors with knife damage that degrades over time.

  • 6 gens instead of 5. That’s balances out

  • @Raja said:

Stand so stiff? You mean survivor animation? I like how they stand now compared to all being hunchbacks from before

Yea, but they run like they are in a hurry to find a bathroom

    in So... Comment by poomanchu
  • Instead of DC penalties, why not double BP’s for all that stay? There is a bonus for killers if a survivor DC’s, is there a survivor bonus if other survivors DC or the killer DC’s? More is incentive to stay... Maybe this doesn’t make sense, I don’t care, I just want double BP’s all the time.

  • @AsherFrost said:

    New survivor: Mildred Mcmanus

Speed 75% of normal survivor run speed.

    Perks:

Life alert: once per match when downed can summon assistance to go back to wounded state. Works like unbreakable, but you have to wait for the phantom ambulance to arrive

Handbag with a brick in it: 1 minute cool down 5 second stun when facing the killer.

    Respect your elders:

Passive, when running within 5 meters of another survivor, they are compelled to lag behind and take the protection hit.

    This is truly glorious!

  • The Trickster by a mile. Watch him throwing knives from a distance. The most ridiculous thing ever. Looks like he’s chasing people down for hugs. No at all scary
