New Ormond looks and sounds really, really good.
That's about it.
-
Usually no matter what I do, he just teleports to my head. I'm sure there are some big brain juking tactics, but to me it is not very intuitive. Easily the least fun killer to play against since Legion (or maybe Derpslinger).
Which is a shame since Blight was great.

upset? about the fear of them being weak or the problem with kicking a child?
Personally I do think they could have animated/story boarded the kick better, imo the kick should make Victor go up in smoke, like you never hit him and no "urrgggg im dead" sound effect, and I feel the survivor should suffer something for doing that, maybe blindness for 15 seconds or so.
Nah, it should have been more like punting a field goal. Send that baby flying across the map.
-
OP solved the problem in the thread title.
Call Victor... Victor. You know, his name?
Duh.

Survivor suffers from a permanent 20% Hindered status effect. Also Exhaustion. And Exposed. Also, can be mori'd without hooking. Also, the survivor must wear a special dunce cap cosmetic for the duration of the game and is given a 1 hour matchmaking ban every time they use the perk. Using it three times in a row automatically uninstalls the game.
I don't like OoO.
-
It is the same with dropping an item as survivor.
The controls in this game are clunky as hell sometimes, and this is one of the worst offenders. The button just does not respond sometimes.
-
You could always just play the game for the fun of... playing the game.
The progression system isn't the game, you know.
-
The devs can't patch out scummy people, unfortunately.

Wrong. Here's the timeline, starting with when DS was released:
- DS released.
- DS buffed and nerfed a few times, ending with the current version, but with a 3-second stun.
- DS buffed to 5 seconds explicitly because it was too weak with Enduring affecting it.
- Enduring nerfed to no longer affect stun perks.
- DS remains at 5 seconds.
This, to me, was the most blatant display of favoritism in recent DbD years (not that there are many of them).
Why start the timeline when DS was released? Did you even read the post you were quoting?

It is devastating against solo queue, only really useful against SWF on maps where totems are harder to find.

A windup doesn't make it dodgeable, it makes it more predictable. Plus even if it does have a windup - according to people who say you cant dodge a slinger - she will get the hit anyway because it travels just as fast as slinger.
It being more predictable makes it more dodgeable.
Keep up.

The argument mainly comes from not being very good against him, also you made very good points.
Huntress has the exact same projectile speed when fully charged with the hitbox of a train and apparently you can dodge that.
If you can't dodge slinger, you can't dodge huntress. Take your pick.
Huntress has a wind-up, Derpslinger does not.

Wifi, but only using 5GHz band 802.11ac, which is actually comparable with a wired connection over short distances.
-
I don't mind them but I really would like them to be a bit quieter.
-
I just want them to change the blurry-ass low resolution razor wire VFX around the screen when you are afflicted.
-
Of course they don't bother with totems. They just want to move on to a real game.
-
About a year and a half ago.
-
The original design is grossly stereotypical, overtly sexualised and the skin colour wasn't nearly dark enough. Also, the stylised nature of the graphic was impossible to replicatem, too. Of course the in-game version wasn't going to look like that.
It was a bad design and shouldn't have won in the first place.
-
New addons to increase the amount of stalk juice you can suck from each survivor, please.
-
Object of Obsession is the problem.
The map is fine.
-
Tunnelling is necessary if you can only handle a 3v1, like OP.
Which is a bit sad, tbh.
-
I once again find myself wondering why I was not informed of the Exposed status effect before the hit, since that is how status effects are supposed to work.
-
If the survivors are dumb enough to put themselves into that situation, why not capitalise on it?
-
Personally, I want them to bring DBD to PSNow so I can play the console version on PC 🤪
-
I like the idea of tiered perks, but I think it should work differently.
They should bring back the ultra-rare designation so we have Pink, Purple, Green and Yellow tiers.
Then re-allocate the perks amongst these tiers so the majority aren't just purple. The strongest perks would become Pink (eg. DS, DH, Unbreakable etc), the weakest would be Yellow.
Then, in the loadout, you can pick one perk from each tier. No more full meta builds, everyone would have to diversify their loadout.
-
IT FOLLOWS (sort of)
It couldn't work quite the way it does in the film, due to the lack of sexy time mechanics etc, but I liked the idea of one survivor being "cursed" and desperately wanting to pass the curse on to a teammate somehow (maybe actively, like a game of tag, or through some other action like unhooking, idk). Maybe the "curse" could be tied to the obsession mechanic.
Only the cursed survivor can see the killer and they suffer from some downsides, like Exposed status basekit, addons could add more things like Exhaustion, Hindered, etc.
Non-cursed survivors are also Oblivious but can hear the killer's footsteps etc. Maybe there should be some subtle sound cue when the killer is nearby.
Probably wouldn't work, tbh. There are likely a million problems that I haven't considered.
Great film, btw, if you haven't seen it. A genuinely smart horror movie.

Bubba, Freddy, and Pig would beg to differ.
Technically, Bubba was only a paragraph, not a full chapter.
Also, Freddy is the perfect example of why people shouldn't be so quick to wish for licensed characters.
We've had two different versions of Freddy and they are both are both absolutely rancid. He just doesn't fit into the game.
Neither does this goofy-ass robot.

Lmfao, "I think it sucks" is not an good reason.
Killer: Springtrap
Ability: unseen / unheard
when not in sight of survivors Springtrap has no terror radius. Simply having him in a survivors line of sight will give him a massive terror radius.
Passive: Where you belong
5 automaton suits are scattered through the stage and act as hooks/ PH cages. Missing too many skill checks on stage 2 or entering stage 3 the spring traps fail and kill the survivor.
That was literally off the top of my head. Imagine what a team could do.
As for him not fitting into DBD, he is a zombified serial killer tapped in a decrepit spring lock suit with organs and bodily fluids visible.
I'm not a fan of the games, I just looked up who Springtrap was and a synopses of the games. I'm all on board, it sounds cool. It seems like alot of blind hatred from those who are opposed.
Sounds awful, no thanks.
-
People keep suggesting this but they never explain what the power would be.
It's not enough to just say "I want X character". If the character is not compatible with the existing mechanics, I definitely don't want it. FNAF is so different to DBD that I don't see how it could work.
Also, FNAF sucks. There are plenty of more suitable licenses for BHVR to pursue.
-
A better change would be that she can hear survivors effects on the environment (footsteps, rustling grass, etc) but not their grunts of pain or breath while phasing.
Making her completely deaf would be stupid.
-
Neil Druckman as the killer since he killed the franchise.

thinking this is good map design omegalul
The problem in that video is 100% OoO.
That perk has always been a problem. The map is fine.

tldr: OP can only play on maps filled with un-mindgameable super safe loops.
Git Gud.

Otz and Umbra are pretty great.
If you're 12 years old then I guess ochido-wannabe turds like Ayrun and JRM would be right up your alley. Head-On bullying video #246735 will be released shortly.
-
You would prefer killers to mori everyone to get enough kills for a crown?
Nah, I'm fine with the way it is.
-
Oh cool, a thread about Otz, let's see what's going on in here...
Oh Lawd.

Try getting healed by two injured Jeffs when nobody has Iron Will.

This was just a small buff that was easy to implement. More changes will likely come later.

Dot people. Not even once.
-
Maybe once the Epic Fail Store gets a shopping cart. Imagine trying to buy all the DLCs one by one...
-
BHVR should just make all the characters asexual as canon.
The shipper tears would be glorious.
-
Personally I look forward to seeing them. I like to go back and watch the game from from their perspective.
I get annoyed when it turns out they were not live.
-
They should add more, some for every killer. Instead we get addons that cause hemorrhage instead 👎️
-
That used to spawn there all the time but I haven't seen it in a long time.
-
I used to bring green keys to trick the killer into wasting a perk slot on Franklin's.
But they would just bring a mori instead.
