I was accused of being a premade and when I explained that I was solo, the killer insisted that solos can be premade too.
-
inb4 a Sharknado chapter.
-
The endgame collapse should automatically begin when there are two survivors left.
The game simply grinds to a halt in 2v1 situations. If there is more than one generator left, it is unlikely that either of the remaining survivors will escape. So the result is several minutes (sometimes much longer) of just going through the motions, delaying the inevitable. It is not an enjoyable experience for either side (IMO).
This might make getting a 4k harder, so I imagine this would be unpopular with people who care about that sort of thing.
-
I used to think a mimic/The Thing style killer with the ability to imitate survivors would be cool, but it would be pretty much useless against SWF.
Also, as much as I'd love to see an Alien chapter, it would break my soul to see the ultimate killing machine - the Xenomorph - being stunned by a pallet and then teabagged,
-
Keys are fine, the hatch just spawns too early.
Agreed broken keys should be distinct from dull or skeleton keys in the lobby.
The addons could also do with an update.
-
Bubba with Iridescent Flesh and Speed Limiter.
It's hilarious, I recommend.
-
Sounds absolutely rancid.

A button that auto completes the bloodweb, or the remainder of any partially completed bloodweb would be very welcome. Spending points can be a chore, especially during events like this where you can go from 0 to 1 million in just a handful of matches.
While we're at it, can we get rid of the "You're at level 50" screen that displays every time you finish a bloodweb at level 50. Like, I know, I have thousands of hours in the game. You don't need to tell me every time I do a bloodweb.

Ginger from Ginger Snaps.
How does this game not have a werewolf already?
-
Teammates that try to kobe when you ran across the map to unhook them.
I always let them reach second stage on purpose.

Base kindred? Just use kindred.
Base kindred would be ridiculously strong and i say this as someone who plays exclusively solo survivor.
Solo survivors having to give up a perk slot for Kindred doesn't really balance solo with SWF. Groups are still free to use all perks slots while solos only get three. This actually widens the gap rather than closing it.
Hell, if they really wanted to balance solo with SWF, it would need to be Bond with infinite range, not Kindred. But that will never happen.
The reason people keep asking for Kindred basekit is because some three years ago, qt π Horvath said they were thinking of adding it. They later said they would do "something else" instead, and then didn't do squat.
tl;dr solo needs basekit changes, not perks.
-
- Add a commo rose
- Kindred (survivor aura) basekit
These two things would be transformative for solo play.
They will never make it so SWF has a different number of perks or gameplay debuffs for playing as a group, so stop suggesting it.

The killer patiently waiting mid-chase while I collect a crown and then continuing the chase immediately after.
So many times.
-
No.
-
I just want them to do something about the whiplash-inducing "aim dressing" or whatever it is that causes me to swivel 180° when survivors dead hard through me.

If only there were perks/items that let you find totems.
I'd rather they addressed the many issues with the perk than suggest other perks as plasterfixes for bad design.
-
So just disregard fundamental gameplay mechanics in favour of promoting toxicity? Your argument is beginning to disintegrate.
Another problem with NOED is the wild disparity in totems placements between maps.
Spawned into Autohaven? No problem, there's a TL wall there, a bus there, probably on in the main building, maybe one in the shack etc.
Spawned into Lery's, Hawkins or Midwich? Wait while I check every nook and cranny in every single room...
I can't imagine how hard they will be to find in RPD.
"Do bones" is an invalid argument.
-
NOED would be fine if survivors were actually notified that they are "exposed" when the perk activates.
The perk in its current form is outdated and is not consistent with the way that status effects are supposed to work. The same goes for Devour Hope.
-
It shouldn't be just 4 kills, but 12 hooks.
-
I love putting traps in front of the locker when people do this.
-
I take it you never played RE2 then?
This was the first time I played a new map and already knew 90% of it off by heart.
The map is awesome.
-
If people hate this update then its obvious they are most likely upset.
The chapter has a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam. Every lobby is full of Jills, Leons (and Claires and Chrises). Nemesis is pretty common (certainly a lot moreso than Twins or Trickster in the weeks after their release).
I don't know why you think this chapter was poorly received. It wasn't.
Believe it or not Capcom at least cares about what people think about their license and what fans have to say
RE3 remake and the two multiplayer RE cash grabs would suggest otherwise. They will milk this franchise for every penny.
-
They don't even need to add full keyboard support, just a few quick-access buttons that allow console players to type pre-defined phrases like "gg", "wp", "Your mom" etc
-
I don't know why you were expecting something significantly beyond what was featured in the PTB.
It's not the devs' fault that your expectations are wrong.
-
More like happy teabag for 9 seconds at the start of the game day.
-
- Almost impossible to avoid getting hit
- Endless mending
- Killer doesn't chase, just leaves you to mend while they hit someone else
- Solo-play Teammates self-caring every time they get hit
- No gens getting done
- More mending, more teammates healing
- Some addons increase mending time
- Every other Legion has Iri Button (aka. headaches and tedium)
- Character itself is lame and being killed by these edgy douchebags just adds insult to injury
I'd rather play against a 10k hour God Nurse than a Legion.
-
I would rather they just give him his rocket launcher for long range attacks.
It wouldn't even be OP.
-
BBQ is always nice.
PGTW is worth the grind, though.

These updates are like when they re-cast roles in your favourite TV show. Sometimes it works out okay, but mostly it just doesn't feel like you're watching the same character.
The video looks kinda bad, but the pictures make her look a bit more expressive. It's better than some of the other "upgrades", though.
-
According to McLean on his stream (regarding the latest patch):
"It put a limitation on how much you could turn in one frame and people have found ways to use that to do things we didn't want them to do. That's as much as I can say about it."
tl;dr z-flick is not intended and will probably be changed.
-
I will never understand why people are so incapable of adjusting their playstyle to match the challenge of each individual game.
Survivors good in chases, focusing the gens super hard and making you sweat? Play as aggressively as you want.
Survivors playing chill and just want to have fun (ie. most games)? Maybe don't play like you're in a tournament.
I stopped watching Derpsey when I realised that the competitive mindset shared by him and some other streamers simply ruins the game for everyone else.

Go to:
C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Open 'Engine.ini' and paste this at the bottom:
[/Script/Engine.GarbageCollectionSettings] r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
This will remove the vaseline-o-vision AA.
EDIT: nvm I just re-read and realised you are on console.
-
Could this be the LGBT character they've been working on for so long?
I look forward to those reactionary tears.
-
Autohaven should be removed from rotation until this is fixed.
-
One survivor's ability would inevitably become the favourite and that's all you would ever see.
No.

I'm fine with having new animations, but the devs need to improve the way some of them look.
Kurwa patch incoming.
-
The new UI is not fit for purpose and the new animations are stiff, lifeless and unnatural.
Plus the customary truckload of brand spanking new bugs.
-
It hasn't been "out for one day". We played this four weeks ago and gave devs a boatload of feedback, which was largely ignored.
Also, four and half years into a game's development is generally not a good time to change fundamental aspects of the game.
"It's nEw AnD fReSh hurr durr". Yeah, I'll take old and reliable, thanks.
Nobody is expecting them to revert the changes, but they desperately need to make a lot of refinements and they need to communicate their plans to the community ASAP.
-
If they kobe in my face earlier in the game.
-
Forcefield: automatically activates at a 32 metre radius around any generator I am repairing and repels any teammates that is currently being chased by the killer.
-
It would help if there was a way to see your emblem progress whilst in-game. Lightbringer on Silver? Do a totem. Not enough altruism? I'm going for the next unhook. etc
Maybe not a constant part of the HUD, but a small UI element that displays your progress and can be toggled on and off by pressing TAB.
-
I'd revert Legion back to when he didn't exist 👍️
-
No change for me then, I've been using the setting and fastening tools for ages. Tar bottle is lame as hell.
-
It will take some time to get used to it but overall it does look cleaner than before. People are just resistant to any kind of change.
My only concern is whether the character portraits in the top left will conflict/share screen space with the Discord overlay. I know you can move the Discord overlay to the right, but that makes me feel like all icky and stuff. I'd rather the portraits were more mid-left than top-left, eg:
-
It would be nice if you could just skip it on your end. Like the animation still plays out for everyone else in the game, but you don't have to watch it for the millionth time.
-
They need to just get rid of the element of surprise. Survivors are Exposed, but are only informed of this fact when somebody gets hit. This is a hangover from the way the perk's original incarnation and is inconsistent with how status effects are supposed to work.
I think there would be far fewer complaints about NOED if survivors were simply informed that they are Exposed as soon as the perk activates.
Nobody complains about Haunted Grounds. Nobody complains about Make Your Choice. Hell, people will refuse to cleanse against Plague, essentially giving her NOED for the entire game.
The problem with NOED is the disparity between expectation and reality. You're being chased, you think "ok, I can take this hit, get to that pallet, loop a little then run to the ex-- oh, I guess I'm down. Much fun, very fair."
The current design is just flawed.

Rutina Wesley as Claudette.

I think they will give the freestyle Claudette skin to Élodie.
I hope so. It suits Elodie so much better.
