The new HUD is really spread out and I get distracted so easily already lol! It might get tweaked and look nice upon release, I trust the devs to listen to a majority of the fanbase and at least work with us on a key element in the game. I do like the 1st/2nd hook counter they have, but as someone who gets tunneled a lot for some reason I am nervous it will just show that I'm the easiest kill!! All we can do is wait and see tho, so let's hope for the best :)!

I thought this was about dbd or something and was really confused lol! Yes, eye contact is great for showing you care or acknowledge their presence! If you want advice, try to love yourself before loving others, since confidence and self worth are an important part of any relationship :)! Love can be tough but it helps us develop as humans. Not to get super sappy but life can be beautiful, especially when it is unexpected; A rose sprouting from the concrete, a rainbow after harsh weather, and, of course, finding love when you least expect it! Keep your head up and good luck to everyone trying :)!!

I think corrupt is good if you are just starting out, because you can get a feel for pressuring gens without worrying too much about wating time running far away at the start. Also, it would be interesting to set up traps near the CI'd gens since survivors would never see it coming lol! Good luck with your matches and have fun playing as sweet ol' Lisa :)!

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear that. I always respect my teammates and the killer (Unless they tunnel me hard then I do a little dance at a pallet) but I hate when people are mean for absolutely no reason. Honestly, if you punish one meanie, you're doing all of us a favor lol <3! Good luck and I hope you meet nice people in your next matches :)!!

Balanced king, I love matches with him and find everything to be fair game! I also loved undying before its nerf because it forced me to look for totems, but people still run it and it lets me know at least two of their perk slots are dedicated to totems lol :)!

Ohhhh I am garbage at looping, I usually run and vault a lot and just be super speedy meg NYOOOOOM but I get downed a lot haha! I prefer waiting to drop pallets until necessary but not looping because I also find it bland, so the vaulting stuff is more fun. It's also fun to head on if you absolutely need to survive, but that's for dire situations (at least for me) I hope you find your looping style soon, OP :)!

We will always have rude killers and survivors, but we will also have kind AND strategic players on either side who can handle losing and aren't rude about winning. I immerse by being careful while looking for gens, but I almost always look for my fellow teammate so we can be safe and attempt saves if we have to. I usually end up with another person last and they sometimes suicide on hook which makes me feel bad because I wish I could express wanting to work together lol! But yes, anyone who is respectful and actually plays the game, ily <3

I'm getting tired of it being called a survivor mindset/culture. I feel underappreciated sometimes by the community because the second they see I'm a 'console meg' I get bs thrown my way. How about we stop players from being jerks and thinking that all of this toxicity is just the things are in gaming? I have met wonderful survivors, both as teammates and as opponents, and I have never once thought that every survivor is alike. You have crummy players on either side. I have had so many killers force me to bleed out just to be mean and it's dull, but I don't go into every game thinking 'oh great another pos killer is gonna tunnel and camp me'. Don't blame it on what side they play on, blame it on them as a person. I am sorry these things have happened to many of you, it's a video game but we are all just trying to have fun, and mean people suck the fun out of everything. Survivors are not evil, and killers are not trying to make your game awful. We all have objectives, just ######### do them.

I never camp or tunnel, and I never gen rush or BM the killer (Unless they started it!!!!!!!) because I want everyone to have fun. When people do things to get the game over and done with, I get bored. Gen rushing doesn't give us many points, and when I see them all working on separate gens and letting me reach second stage you BET I am gonna be salty and wait to save them off hook too lol! Same goes for camping and tunneling-- You can get 1 death out of it, but there's little effort in doing so and is soooo bland. I like chases on both sides, so I don't quite get the strategy of it.

Entitlement is when you believe you deserve things because of your place-- So if a survivor believes they should always be allowed to leave or the killer needs to give them the hatch to be fair, they are being entitled. Same goes for killers who believe that they are entitled to get a 4k and get accusatory or mad when they do not. Hope this helps :)!

I main twins and Plague because they're fun! I'm not a killer main tho, and I think they focus too much on Victor and not enough on Charlotte. The perks are good, but having to pounce on people when it's easy to dodge is annoying and that's why I don't play them as much as Plague or Ghostie.

THEY ALREADY KNOW I SUCK AND THEY JUST HAVE TO DANCE AT ME HHHHHHH but if the bullying gets too severe I just play along because I'm rank 16 and they are almost always 8 or 4, and last time I did they all pointed at victor and danced around him so I left smiling and laughing <3 !!!

I'm sorry this happened, bubby. I have met rude people everywhere, and with anonymity comes power. I hope you can enjoy this game again soon, there are kind players and excellent forum members on here <3! I actually was saved by this game-- I was in a really bad place and stuck in a negative setting, and playing this game with my friends helped distract me and alleviate some stress.

It's not scary-scary, but I think back on two things from my childhood:
My mom brought me to the basement of our apartment building to do laundry and I was in the elevator, but the doors closed when she stepped out and I went all the way to the 18th or 20th floor all by myself when I was about 3 or 4. An old man got in and yelled, "Where's your mother!" Before pressing the lobby button. I think about it a lot, it freaked me tf out dude!
Another instance was when I was 17 and using a board to talk to spirits with some friends. I made a joke about boobs and the planchette flew to 'goodbye' and her phone rang at the exact same moment. I don't mess with that anymore bruh I'm good

OoO - Object of Obsession, perk.
BT - Borrowed Time, perk.
Survivor answer: There's quite a few different builds. DS/Dead Hard/BT/Adrenaline/Iron Will/Kindred (especially if solo queing)/Balanced Landing, etc. Sprint Burst is really good as well if you pair it with Fixated and can use it properly. However you really don't need to be using Dead Hard or Decisive Strike, they are crutch perks and you can bring other useful perks instead. But if you're learning, I guess they won't hurt to use, just don't rely on them for the entirety of your improving.
Avoid using Self Care/ Urban Evasion, I wish I learned this faster when I started out but a lot of people at low ranks will be seen using these 2 since they aren't comfortable yet. The best advice I can give is not to use them, if you want to improve in the least amount of time. They are not needed at all.
I use SC and UE and have been doing well with them, I think it's more about using them correctly and understanding your play style. I think it's best to start off trying every perk/build you can and seeing which one you are most comfortable with :)!

OOOOOH I LIKE THIS POST!!! I really enjoy Legion's lobby music, the Twins' lobby and chase music, Oni's chase music (especially when the drum thingy goes BONK BONK BONK BONK yknow?) and also the bleeding out music goes hard sometimes lol :)!

I'm sorry this happened to you! I have had crummy matches where people get upset with me and then have to mention I'm on console or make a post like 'dear console players' when it's legit just... a bad match lol! We all have them, and people who are mean about it usually suck as well and hate that they 'carry' their team so much (very loose quotation marks mind u!!!) because a lot of the time the team you might be 'carrying' is good when given the opportunity. I try to look at TTV play backs for analysis and to reach out with a 'gg' every once in a while, and many streamers are super nice, but there are many who find entertainment in belittling and bullying others. I hope you meet a nice TTV in your lobby soon and that your next matches are awesome :)!

every!!! time!!! i hear that violin and drums!!! I GET SO HYPE!! I love their design and their perks are interesting enough to keep me on my toes! I always end up sacrificing myself for them because a Twins player is rare to come across and they're usually really kind. One time I was playing with the swf fam and met a Charlotte who was having a hard time so I let her hook me. After that, she would stop what she was doing to nod at me which killed me omg ;w; It's the same with Demogorgon, I want to protect them lol!

I try to balance my playing when I can but I prefer survivor because it's more fun for me. I think all perks are fair even when they annoy me and as long as you are respectful then I think you're a good player <3! I think many people have this rushing idea when it comes to this game, but I find the best matches are the ones that take time to do gens, save, cleanse, etc. because you get to do more with teammates and strategize as killer. Ruindying is not bad at all, I actually enjoyed it before the update, and DS is not a big issue for me. I think what makes it infuriating is when you are the sole teammate putting in effort against ruindying, and when you are facing a seal team packing the basic meta perks who are rude about it. I know this community can be great, so keep your head up and know that some survivor mains aren't opposed to killers planning ahead, just like some killers aren't opposed to survivors doing the same. I'm a basic b, I use UE in every match because I like bein sneaky but it helps with PH's trails, Hag's traps, and sometimes even dodging hatchets lol! Crouch wherever you think traps might be, and I like to do gens with other people because it forces her to choose one person to chase per trap trigger/gen and slows her down! Hope that helps a bit

I black out every Huntress match because her lullaby actually distracts me so mfin hard dude, it's very possible! I only play as meg in her all pink outfit or with her cheetah top and pink skirt, so if you've encountered her in the wild, that was me lol :)!

If they played well and had a hard time, I usually stay in end game and let them hook me, but if I need to keep my rank or pip, I usually leave my item and point at them as if to say 'accept this gift for being a good player' but it's hard without post game chat!! I reserve teabagging for extra rude killers who tried to tunnel me and slug me, just to add some spice to my win lol! I don't like BM from either side if it's undeserved, and I try not to be salty but we all have nights where we down that one survivor or make a great play against someone and get that rush of pride but we are only human-- Be kind and kindness will find you <3 Good luck in your next matches everyone and have fun :)!

I think everyone is getting into this weird headspace of 'I play on this and am better than you!!' or 'I play on this and can't compete with people who play on that' which is fair, but I think everyone has the potential to majorly mess up the match no matter the platform lol :)! I'm on console and have had amazing teammates and opponents from all platforms, so I usually don't read the rants or 'dear ____ players' posts because they are mostly venting rather than generalizing. I hope the community becomes more accepting of cross play and working hard for ranks and wins because we can only get better!!!

FD is the reason I pack self care no matter how much the ooga booga sc bad people are. Not every team is going to be altruistic, and most times I pack a med kit for healing when I don't bring that perk I get FD'd lol! It's a decent perk, but I would do more gen based perks over item based ones since most of the time survivors don't really depend on their items. There are always hardcore players-- The SWF that gets gens done in 2 mins, the killer that slugs and hooks in 2 mins, etc.-- and all we can do is move on and hope for the best. Play however you want, and if FD is a perk you like, pack that perk :)!!! Good luck in your next matches and have fun!

The new change is not even that important. On the new maps you personally need to force a survivor into a trap (they see it but have no choice anyway) otherwise survivor with eyes cant get trapped.
Don't worry, I'm the survivor you want to go against in these situations because I never pay attention to my surroundings and even when I know I'm against Trapper I still fall for the freakin shack death box lol <3

I agree that we should all have fun, but sometimes you need to vent or state your opinions. We don't have to agree or even acknowledge them, but we can move on to the next match and hope for the best lol! I have had bad matches as both survivor and killer, in SWFs and solo q, even in custom matches-- This game is what you make of it, and if you choose to be negative then you're making it harder on yourself. Every day I come closer to deactivating this forum account lmao. I have met a lot of toxic players as all characters, but I'm not going to generalize to this extreme and become toxic myself. Why let an experience with a character skin dictate how you will interact with future players using that cosmetic/character? I get made fun of for being a "console meg" yet am a good teammate and have a decent build for my style of playing. Just be a good teammate/killer and I respect you, but even after bad experiences with other characters I don't think I could ever avoid helping others based off of that.

By the way, since you seem to enjoy SMM so much (I do too) have you ever considered giving Ghostface a try? I got a feeling you might like his playstyle, but he lacks the class and prestige of Myers.
I once went in to save a ttv on the hook and crouched near them because their pal was running the killer around the hook... I don't have BT so I had to wait and they got so mad at me for it. At the end he went to my name on the list and shouted "IT'S ALWAYS CONSOLE PLAYERS THAT PISS ME OFF THE MOST!!!!!!" and I felt so bad... My build is seen as one of those weak survivor ones but having so many people assume my style off of someone's TTV clips or from one match makes me so anxious! But yes, some TTVs and red ranks DC or suicide wayyyy too early! I'll never understand that :(

I LOVE YERV HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO PROPERLY URBAN LOL <3 <3 <3 seriously tho, i use urban and self care because i usually face FD and my teammates never heal me :))) but as long as you prioritize the team and not just yourself then you're a good teammate!! I also don't take smack from people who think their builds are superior (they usually have DS, but that's not a generalization just an observation) because I got to red ranks playing MY way not their way. Go for unhooks, do gens, be kind and you're a good player, otherwise tell them to hush it bubby lol!

Oh gosh, I guess I've just been getting weird teams and killer matches then. I'm just upset that at rank 15 killer I get a team of red ranks and sometimes as a red rank survivor get entire teams of rank 20s (Though rank does not always determine skill, there are some amazing low ranks out there!!) but I cannot believe I have depipped so much from being matched with really low ranks
