Sometimes I worry that I upset someone if I accidentally throw a pallet in their face instead of healing them because I messed up the buttons!!!!!! But usually I think they're beefing with the killer or are saying that I'm a console meg no matter how well I play lol :)! Don't fret over it too much though, it's a game and if people get mad at you for something you didn't mean to do it's really no big deal!

I rarely see rancor in my games and I have yet to experience losing like that.
I have seen it a few times, more in recent games and since the last gen can pop across the map without you expecting it the killer will just barrel over to you for that sweet sweet mori lol! It's kind of rare, I agree, but I have only escaped against rancor once. I'm not fantastic at this game, but I ave yet to really dislike a perk like I do with rancor just because I either die or feel bad for not being able to protect the obsession!

Try to get your team to bodyblock for you. The obsession can guess that the Killer has Rancor and get behind people to take hits for them.
As a solo queue player, this isn't that easy. I have tried to motion them over to gens while I go in a locker, but it sometimes seems like I'm sandbagging. Without communication it's hard to show people my situation ;w; And the body blocking is hard because they think I'm trying to sandbag lol!

I'm not going to lie and say I hate UE, but I understand why people don't love it. I think it's good for certain play styles if it isn't used poorly, and it also looks really silly now lol :)!

I don't really care about NOED, I want rancor fixed because I have died many times to doing my objective and not being able to hide. I remember one match where I kept trying to get people to do the last gen so I could hide, and it was so unfun because I knew no matter what I did the spirit would phase, down, and mori me because of her perk. At least with noed it's just doing bones, but rancor takes your primary objective and punishes you or one of your teammates for it.

Give us some credit for trying to play on a less sensitive controller at least. Most console players I have gone up against or had as teammates worked hard to save people and help out when they could. I myself am on console and have outdone people's expectations of me based on my platform, and even when I die I'm not using a lot of second chance perks and prioritize my team over myself most times. I hope you have a better experience with console players in the future!

I protect those I care about or view as vulnerable, and I'd probably apologize to the killer after slamming a pallet because I'm a big baby. I would definitely freak out, but after getting used to it I'd probably work on generators with airpods in while everyone dies lol

I almost did that today in a basement trapper match during egc but took the risk. I have BT and everything so I went in for the save and even though he was downed in the end because of a trap, I don't give up easily. I will always risk it for a good teammate!

Gosh, that sucks!!! I have a smurf so that I don't stress about rank when I hang out with friends. I also sacrifice myself a lot to the new killers so they know I'm rooting for them! It's hard to be in red ranks and give the killer some extra BP, so I smurf for that reason. I'll never forget when I played with my friends and we met a Nurse on Lerys really struggling, so I made her hook me <3 She was super cute and shaking her head no, but I sacrificed myself for the queen!!!!!!!!! 💖💖💖

I'd love some new map formats!!! Maybe the frozen Marseille landscape where Charlotte froze and the neon city for the Trickster, but I can't imagine a map for Blight since he's been in the realm for so long. Maybe the mass grave site and a homage to the brown eyed woman? I don't know, but I want some ~spicy~ new maps not just a color scheme change

I messed myself over by walking into the corner of shame as Twins against a SWF and I heard breathing so I turned around and they all crounched at my feet pointing at me but I refused to hurt them so I was trapped with survivors asking me to hook them. Not even Victor could escape. I loved them <3

Honestly for awhile I thought my play style was Ghostface. I was doing really good as him and was getting kills even with my rank being 12. I was doing good with the stealth element. However then I ran into multiple SWF teams or dozens of survivors with Spine Chill etc and slowly what I thought was me getting better drained away. It got to the point where I had a least ten matches in a row where I couldn’t even use my power and had to just wing it and run after them. Constantly lost. Went to Deathslinger and was doing ok. Not as great as when I was Ghostface. Then I kept getting indoor maps and the like and it turned sour quick. (Hawkins, Lery, etc). I still like playing as Ghostface and Deathslinger but I’m not expecting to get any kills anymore with them.
I main Ghostie, Twins, and Plague, so I have felt your pain of being revealed by SWFs every second and also indoor maps with Plague which I can't aim with all the walls lol! I'm sure you're a good GF, I realized people would reveal me whenever they could and so I turned my cloaking into a directional for me; If they revealed me, they were also revealed and started a chase. Before I had any good gen perks, I honed in on chase perks instead. I remember using whispers, im all ears, and I think bamboozle for shack too if I remember correctly. This game isn't easy, and I hope you find your ghostie passion again because he's fun and his reveal mechanic is a two way street. Again, good luck with everything and I really hope you are able to perfect the craft in your own unique way :)!

It's still possible to have a chase and not even have more than one pop though-- I pack oppression and pop and sometimes if a chase takes too long or I see they are getting too much distance I go and look for gens being repaired so I can at least give them a skillcheck or regress their work! Have faith in yourself and understand that this game is a learning process :)! I suck at looping yet have made it to rank 3 I think two times now? And it's because I have adapted my own play style as a survivor and noticed common tactics and strategies in killers. I hope you find your 'flavor' of play style-- Mine is probably mint chocolate chip because a lot of people doubt its deliciousness until they try it lol <3! Good luck in your next matches and I hope you have fun! Treat it like a big ol ice cream store!!!

So, I have heard of the Doppelgänger idea, just not with it being associated with Pennywise. I might be wrong but I thought Pennywise shapeshifting was related to your fears and insecurities, not sure why he would mimic others in trial, unless you have trust issues lol.
Personally, I’d prefer Pennywise power to be centered around his red balloon. Like, the more balloons you see around the map, the more powerful you know he has become. I think a psychological attack like that could be his thing.
I dunno about actual perk or power, I just want scary red balloons.

I get you. I have OCD and sometimes I think that if I don't do something or pack a specific item something bad will happen. It isn't the game's fault, but it certainly doesn't help to have a high stress mindset with a high stress gaming session! I hope you feel better and find a calm game-- I recommend 'Coffee Talk' or some silly game like roblox or minecraft if you just want to relax and laugh a bunch :)!

I don't like it much. I have had people call me toxic for packing head on and using DS which I get is heat of the moment stuff, but it still makes me feel bad. I have met some fun TTVs though, but most of my experiences have been less than pleasant. I will never forget when I was waiting to save someone off hook and didn't have BT, and they hovered over my account after dying and said 'oh my gosh it's ALWAYS console players who suck' But more often than not I see what their stream is like before I ready up. If they're rude or seem to expect too much from their team/me, I leave. I don't want to be perceived poorly because of a match is all ;w;

I refuse to engage in any type of toxic behavior. When I can see the killer is having a bad time (bad at chases, hasn't hooked anyone, etc...) I will go out of my way to start a chase, fail that chase, half-heartedly wiggle (so it's no obvious that I'm letting them hook me), and let myself get hooked. When I play against a killer that made it fun, I'll leave an item behind in thanks at the gate.
It also requires both sides to want both sides to have fun for that kind of magic to happen. When everyone cares about fun, those are the best matches ever and the most memorable.
queen sh!t omg 💖 I do the same thing and sometimes leave gifts for them if I need to pip up or just really enjoyed the match before leaving! I want everyone to enjoy the match-- I pack kindred for myself AND the person on hook, that way they can get a chance to play rather than sit and possibly die on first/second hook :)! Also, when I see someone bully the killer for no reason I usually wait to save them or teabag them on hook before saving out of spite! I'm not perfect, if I get hardcore tunneled or bullied by the killer I might teabag with the vigor of a very thirsty tea drinker, but I would never go out of my way to make their game a nightmare.

I don't know if I'm alone on this, but @MadLordJack can attest to me sacrificing myself to a Charlotte and Billy who were struggling super hard and I wanted them to have fun too ;w; I clipped me giving Charlotte hatch and then leading her to hook me after everyone escaped because after hitting me she just nodded her head yes and I fell in love lol <3!!!

I have had the opposite experience, actually, but it doesn't make me hate PC players or 'prefer' them over console. Anyone can be a bad teammate. Like, red rank console players tend to nod back if I nod at them while PC red ranks just ignore me, but that doesn't mean I don't like them (if that makes sense, since I like doing silly things when I find survivors lol!) I hope you meet more console players who come back for you during EGC, since I have been left to die by survivors on every console/PC/LED hamster wheel whatever lmao!

I highly doubt, you've gotten top tier huntresses and billys on console. Most console players are casual or bad.
Even if this is bait, I just want anyone who feels this way to know that many console players are adapting due to cross play and figuring out their style. And as a console player who has gone up against pretty bad PC killers, I'd say anyone can be bad/casual, not just console players. Anyways, I hope you have more positive experiences with console players and see our potential lol :)!

Thank you for saying good things about us for once! I play on xbox and have had people say stuff about how console players are the worst, and yet I have had absolutely amazing teammates on console who go above and beyond to save others and do gens-- And let's not forget the killers working hard with great strategies! When cross play was introduced I had an easier time winning actually, and now I barely pay attention to posts about 'dear console players' and all that bs. I had to figure out new strategies and moves when it was implemented, but I am feeling good about my play style these days! I hope more console players read this and don't feel so alienated <3!

Oh nooooo I hate when stuff like that happens! Sometimes I will spectate after my death and everyone is messing around and it makes me feel left out, but then I make myself move on and realize that not every match is going to be fun. I hope you meet the nicer people in the game though, since I have met a bunch of lovely people on these forums and even in matches <3!!! I hope your next matches are amazing and that your matchmaking experience gets better :)! Because if ur next matches are bad,,,

Vommy mommy is a queen in her lore and in gameplay!!! Player strategies vary between players, but most will infect loops and gens to speed up the broken process which is, in my opinion, EPIC GAMEPLAY. She's difficult to play as and against at times, but almost every time I face her I'm ready to get picked up in madame sickness' arms <3

I adore my twinsies lol! I run oppression, thana, sloppy, and coup de grace and since I still suck at Victor I use him to bait people into kicking me boyo (toy soldier and iridescent pendant are quaking rn) but most matches I have had against them are actually really exciting. When I hear him getting unraveled it's like a shot of adrenaline because oh no the gremlin is out lol :)! Good luck with them and have fun!

Meg is so pretty hhhhhhnggg and she looks a bit like me so I feel ~immersed~ lol! And I like Twins because their perks are really fun to use and play against, and Charlotte is really pretty to me too ;w; I also enjoy Plague a lot because you BLEUGHHHHHH all over people which is really fun and, you guessed it, she's also very pretty lol :)!
