I think playing killer is pretty fun. Short queue times, easy BP and pips. You don't have to be a basement kid, just watch some tutorials on how to loop common tiles and try not to get tilted.
-
Hatch is meant to be incentive to survivors to keep playing despite poor odds of success. Otherwise there would be a lot of survivors who DC at two gens with two people left.
-
Fun tip: Sometimes survivors don't know about this change and will waste time searching boxes to remove an inactive trap.
-
Along with all the game mechanics and vocabulary you have to learn for this game, there are all sorts of unspoken meanings behind gestures and actions. Clicking a flashlight a few times usually means the survivor wants you to follow them, for instance.
-
It might be worth forming a SWF and working together to get it for one person at a time, using voice chat to call out when you're about to go down and sending someone in to distract the killer, etc.
-
10 minutes is pretty good for that time period. 😂
-
This has been suggested before and it's a good idea, maybe not BP but some sort of incentive to play whatever side needs players.

I'm so tired of killers camping and tunneling every unhook. See it goes both ways. As for why don't they do the things you mentioned see the beginning of my post. You can't do those things if the killer is a camping sweat lord, which unfortunately a ton of them are.
Ideally everyone would have time to do totems, take fun chases, and generally have a good back and forth game. Unfortunately killers can't trust they won't lose playing nice and survivors have the same problem.
This thread was deliberately in response to a thread about camping and tunneling, so yes it does go both ways.
-
I'm a solo queue survivor, so, Kindred.
As a killer, BBQ or Thrilling for info.
-
It all depends on your aim. Personally I am very bad at hitting shots, don't think I downed anyone with just my M2. But I'm sure there are Huntress mains out there with a paper dot taped to the center of their screen downing people in 2 seconds.
-
This is happening to me as well, it's super annoying as killer because it can cover up survivor sounds.
-
It's not really a debate so much as brainstorming for a massive gameplay overhaul. I enjoyed it.
-
I don't think enough people do this to be a problem.

I think we should make an important distinction, I think when you say fog whislerers you mean high play level/massive amounts of time involved streamers, like otz. Guys that play all day every day basically. Most of the fog whisperers do not do this at all, and aren't even very good, I've watched some of the smaller whisperers (1-300 viewers) and no joke I'm twice as good as most of them.
I think those FWs are just as important because the game can't be balanced solely around the top level of play. There need to be solutions that scale to the skill of the players.

WHY are you telling this ME? I am NOT AGAINST IT! I AM FOR IT!
People play csgo where they play literally terrorists! Our society is willing to accept violence over sexual orientation! Just look at USA with their crazy weapon laws!
You make an excellent point. I withdraw my comment.

OK. SO people here just dont seem to understand the following:
There are different people I will name a few (not all):
1)LGBTQ people
2)People who are pro LGBTQ but are straight themselfs
3)People who are neutral
5)People who are against LGBTQ because unfamiliar
6)People who are against LGBTQ because of personal believe or being conservative
7)People who are against LGBTQ because of regious believe
and many more kinds of people!
ME being the most diplomatic you could ever get am suggesting to reveal an existing character LGBTQ to offened the least amount of people. Because YES it WILL offend people! I dont know if you are so delusional that you dont udnerstand it or you simly forgot it!
Is it wrong to be against LGBTQ? For us its ofcourse wrong! But try to confince a strong religous person! If you disrespect his religion you are doing the same they are doing to LGBTQ!
If I would want to convince a strongly conservative person that there is nothing to fear from LGBTQ I would not confront them with a crossdressing person with vulgar dressing, I would rather show them e.g. a successfull doctor who is doing a lot of good is completly normal and happenes to be gay and its nothing wrong about it. Getting a person to accept small things first will allow me to also make more confronting stuff more acceptable!
The LGBTQ community is fighting in so many contries for freedom and survival it pains me to see that I am attacked here because I want a more diplomatic approach and try to respect opinions of all people and convince them subtle in the begining!
Understandable, however, it seems weird to excuse fictional murder but draw the line at fictional boys kissing boys. The game is already rated mature.

It's from the charm I think....got a good chuckle out of it though. Heeeere's Victor!

Wasn't Soldier: 76 a bit controversial because Blizzard were getting bad PR for something and they basically announced his sexuality as a way to distract from that?
Tracer might be a better comparison: her relationship was announced casually in a comic, and I think that was received pretty well?
It was not.
-
When they revealed an existing Overwatch character was gay in the comics (not even in game) the playerbase flipped their collective lids (twice) so I don't know how well that would go over.
-
what exactly was the player doing?
-
If you think that one's hard, wait till you see what's next.

There's not such thing as "cleaning the realms after every trial".
The realms are re-created from scratch every time a new trial begins by the Entity using the memories of the ones that lived there before they were taken (the killers).
Well that just leaves the question of why killers bother closing lockers when they close on their own.
Honestly I'm not sure it's for any logical reason, it's probably just for video game reasons.
-
Guys, just bring T3 Make Your Choice. Bam, free timer.
-
Congrats! Now start hoarding BP for the next chapter.
-
That's a really weird bug. Do you happen to have a screenshot?
-
There has never been one in the past, so I wouldn't expect one this time either.
-
They fixed the spectator bug which was literally game-breaking, so I'm happy. Hopefully the larger timer bars will make survivors notice when they have deep wound, as well.

I mean ones that are useful, half of the perks are near pointless and do nothing to actually help, they're always locked behind cool downs and requirements or a luck factor of rng hex spawns. Other than pop, which really isn't strong what perk rewards you for hooking without limitations or hexs?
Surge is really good in my opinion. A perk's use will always depend on the killer you play, however. What killers do you usually play?
-
I am having this error as well. I am also playing with crossplay enabled, on Steam.
-
Pinhead from Hellraiser would be fun.
-
I adore STBFL for groups like these because they will do risky things like body block or dive bomb the hook and I will get so many free hits.
-
As stated above, there are quite a few perks to reward hooking. There are also perks that reward downs and pickups, such as Surge and Thrilling Tremors.
-
I don't think he's actually from Florida, that's just where his latest killing spree was. His addons allude to many places he's traveled in the past, such as Utah and Pennsylvania. That said, considering how inconsistent the devs are with lore, there's nothing saying his race couldn't be retconned to make him Hispanic at some point.
-
I would like an option to quickly claim completed Archive challenges. It's so annoying when I finish a challenge from tome II and have to go through 5 tomes trying to find it.
-
Playing as Pig isn't too fun either
😥
-
For when the SWF loots a map and does all your totems, at least you have something to fall back on.
-
Pig and Trapper.
-
Yes, it's a known bug with the game that they have been appearing on low level bloodwebs, likely related to the lunar new year event coding.
-
According to the game's wiki:
"The Ghost Face is not one of the many Killers who take on the alias from the Scream films, but rather an original character based on the Mask the franchise used for their Killers. This is because the copyrights for the Mask and for the films are entirely separate due to the films using a pre-existing Character Mask for their Killers."
-
Personally I try to avoid people with traps on, though if they're full health and I happen to see them at a box I'll give them a tap just to set them back a little.
-
It's functioning fine. You can do it as killer if you're worried about unhealthy gameplay, it doesn't take too long to find once you know what you're listening for.
-
I think it's because a lot of people are not playing the game due to the bugs or issues with the UI. You could try turning crossplay off as well, sometimes there are more people looking for a match on just PC.
-
I used to main Trapper, but lately I have really been enjoying Pig.
-
When I die but the rest of my team escapes.
-
I mean, Oni is just an oni basically...
-
The devs are aware of this happening and are working to fix it.
-
So....make old Knockout basekit?
-
Apparently third year party starters are back for certain levels of the bloodweb too. I think it's a good thing because there's less item clutter to sort through, and less chance of getting a bug with BP attribution, like what happened with the 4th year cakes last year.
-
I would prefer if they fix the balance of the base game before working on additional modes.
