Yeah because pressing m1 on the hatch requires so much skill. You're ridiculous.
Just take the 3k and leave
I guarantee that Blendette didn't get jack #@$% for that match. Either find it before them to close it or slug. I just hook the 3rd person and leave it to chance. I don't feel like waiting.

Hatch is meant to be incentive to survivors to keep playing despite poor odds of success. Otherwise there would be a lot of survivors who DC at two gens with two people left.
Hatch exists to make sure no game is hopeless for the survivors. It serves both a good mechanical purpose that keeps disconnects down, and a lore purpose as the entity feeds on hope.
So you didn't get the 4k. You won and should easily have popped. She survived and got the bare minimum of points. If it bothers you that much think about how pissed her teammates were that she let them die

I had a match where i got 9 hooks and killed 3 survivors. One survivor hid all game and the gens didn't get done.
Guess what the game gave me?
A black pip.
The hatch prevents pips that are deserved or even causes depips that the killer shouldn't get. The pity win is not taken into account for the killers score and is damaging and unfair. Especially when keys get involved.
I lost a pip because of this...
Dude it's not that big of a deal.
Just get it back in the next match 😂 It's not like it's the end of the world because you didn't pip.

You already won, the last survivor should have have a good chance to escape regardless of circumstance.
The only issue hatch has is how it is opened with keys, everything else about it is fine.
I only play survivor these days and even I don't like the hatch tbh. Mainly because it kinda promotes the selfish behaviour by teammates.
If you get lucky with exit gates you have a solid chance to escape. But I am the person who plays for pips and I am not that crazy about escaping like most are so I understand why they like it. You can escape and depip if you didn't do enough tho.
Yes if they remove hatch solo surviving will get worse.
I would love it if the Hatch was replaced with a mechanic with any skill whatsoever required.
Someone had an idea that the last survivor would have to find three fuses (offerings for the hatch would be replaced with offerings that make more or less fuses required) and put them in a fusebox (it's aura is revealed to the survivor but not the killer), all while the EGC is counting down. When all the fuses are in both gates open immediately.
Hatch exists because killers also have super toxic strategies they can use. As long as face camping and hard tunneling are in the game and not discouraged the hatch and other toxic survivor stratagies get to stay too.
