If I remember right, doing the 'emotes' count as actions. The pointing and waving.
Or, at least they used to, I'm not sure if they still do.
holy cow, that's crazy. gonna try pointing a lot next time I start getting head crows.

same problem on the same gen

As a killer, there are often times when one "runner" survivor is kiting and trolling me all over, which is very frustrating, and I often wish that I'd brought a mori to get my sweet revenge on them when I finally down them; this system would take care of that.
Now that runner gets a key and tbags you on the hatch.
he's tbagging me anyway, might as well be on the hatch to get the match over.

Break 32 things challenge. Put on full pallet breaking perk (minus Spirit fury). Offer Game map. I done the challenge in 2 go.
that is true. New Game map is also palette town, USA. :(
-
I mean, if I'd had a challenge to break 100 palettes, I could've done it in that one last match alone. JFC.

loading logo animation plays super fast, "waiting for a match" strobes really fast, the cinders vfx over survivors heads in lobby is super fast, the vfx on icons in tomes is playing super fast...

Whoever guesses correctly wins.
My guess is that the new killer is "The Diva". The tweets are gonna tell the story of a k-pop star turning into a psycho killer, setting up her backstory.
She constantly sings, like Huntress, or she sings while her special button is held down, and her singing has an AoE effect that disorients survivors, like shock therapy or clown gas.
Her survivor is a hacker.

The maps are set up in a grid system, and as long as a survivor keeps changing grid squares they won't get the idle crows. Now if a survivor keeps going in circles in the same grid square they will get them, but so long as they keep looping the map they'll be safe
oh! this is interesting! I didn't know that. Seems like a bug, though; aren't crows specifically meant to prevent survivors just sneaking around without doing anything?

Nope that's probably a loading issue on your end. It's usually delay caused by slow loading from your harddrive. That can be caused by Windows 10 doing its thing running anti virus or whatever. Or other stuff. Who knows.
The patch itself isn't causing the problems.
I gots an SSD. :(

As shown in the recent Q&A stream, we have a proposed rework for Object of Obsession and we really want to hear the Community's Feedback on this.
Please comment your thoughts, ideas etc onto this thread for us to gain as much information as we can with regard to the above proposal.
Keep it civil please and be as constructive as possible, otherwise your comments will be removed and your feedback then not heard!
{disclaimer - remember this is just a proposal for a change, not a guarantee that it will change or will take this form}
I love it! Make this happen!! :D

I did it, you guys! I got a bug past "pending"! #nabLife 😂

Nope, no mention of exhausted.
ah weird, maybe I'm remembering the PTB, because there was definitely nebulous wording in there before about "can't use special abilities". Or maybe I'm just thinking of the way it SHOULD be designed. 😂
-
I'm looking forward to the new OoO, I think it'll be a great change, and I think I'll enjoy it more both as killer and as survivor.
-
OK, thanks. Maybe because she's closer to the ground there was some sort of optical illusion that I was moving way slower, and maybe all the survivors who kept smoking me had sprint burst. 🤷

Adding arbitrary resource management to killers is a bad idea in general.
This one would be really bad because it forces doc to go to areas where survivors aren't. Being an m1 killer he already lacks mobility, but forcing him to go to abandoned areas would be downright awful.
good point. I still like the idea of using completed gens as a resource, but you're right that it wouldn't work for Doc without a LOT of unnecessary rework.

I suck and I've gotten to Red rank 1 with clown, almost exclusively, like twice. Yet I don't do any better with Spirit than with clown or my main killers. Doesn't mean Clown is OP or spirit is too weak.
That's a terrible way to judge things.
don't sell yourself short. Getting to R1 with Clown is a major accomplishment. 😀

Ah the classic:
"Lets nerf a killer into the ground because my team 3 gened ourselves" thread.
Just because you lose to a killer doesn't make them overpowered.
you've got me all wrong. My belief that Doc is OP stems entirely from the fact that I've gotten to R1 with him and I suck. :D

Sad news. As of update 4.4.2, entity no longer eats babby.

@C3Tooth said:
Its Auto heaven, I noticed it since PTB. Also cant trap from the stair to basement.
cool. Well, they fixed the basement trapping on autoheaven in the new update, we'll see if it also affected the gate.
-
AHA!!!! I was right!!
4.4.2 bugfixes:
- Fixed an issue that caused Victor to always count as being in close hook proximity for Chaser emblem scoring.
- Fixed an issue that caused survivors sacrificed while controlling Victor not to count for Devout emblem scoring.

I hate it in red ranks :)
Good enough to stay in them, but not good enough to have fun games in them
now that I've finally reached R1, I'm gonna try really hard not to care about rank anymore and focus on having fun (starting with playing a lot more Twins). I made a lot of killer/perk/map choices these last few matches specifically to optimize my chances of pipping and less to optimize the funs.
-
Coulrophobia is actually pretty good combined with Nurse's Calling; you can see them healing, and their healing gets slowed way down at the same time, so you have time to go wreck them before they finish healing.
Coup looks bad, but it was AWESOME on the PTB (when it doubled your range for one lunge) and is still pretty good live (when it just gives you + 60% range on one lunge). It doesn't sound like much, but being able to swoop a survivor who thinks they're a safe distance from you feels great.
Empathy is super useful, because you can see exactly where the killer is chasing a survivor, and also see where all the rest of the survivors are as long as they're injured, which helps with figuring out if someone else is already going to unhook someone, or finding someone who needs healing.
No Mither is crappy on its own, but great combined with the two perks that give you bonuses to repairs as long as you're hurt; I always use that combo if I have a challenge to get a certain number of great skill checks.
-
NURSE NEED NERF? NO, NAERUUU! NO NERF NURSE KNIFE! NURSE NERFED ENOUGH! NURSE NICE! NURSE KNOWING NERDS KNOW NURSE NOT NEED NERF!
-
At the beginning of the match, I usually try to injure 1 or 2 as Charlotte, and then hunt them down with Victor.
-
I like how it immediately finishes the grab animation and jumps to the match results. :)
-
LOL, I was actually thinking the exact same thing the other day. "With all that rapid t-bagging, these survivors must have incredible glutes!"
-
Twins can't change that close to the hook. So if he's in babby that close to the hook, that means he's stuck being babby; just treat it like any other face camp and do gens.
Now it IS possible to park babby at a hook and THEN hook someone on it, and then stay Charlotte until someone gets close and then change to babby; in that case you want to listen for babby's shriek and kick him before you rescue.

Nope, it's saying that you got 10 points for hook actions. Out of 100 points.
oh! OK... that is confusing...

@GoodBoyKaru said:
Depends how many times everyone was hooked. If you didn't 3 hook at least 3 people I believe you don't get your iri

Devout is known to be bugged this patch for whatever reason where some hooks aren't counting.
magical.
thanks!
-
yeah, sorry I wasn't clear; the devs said that one of the learnings from the PTB was that they were going to block survivors from exiting for a few seconds after being downed with baby on head, to give Charlotte time to pick them up. I actually mis-remembered; they said this would be fixed soon but not at release:

This bug is STILL PRESENT In 4.3.2! :(

Awesome. I love it. I think one thing you could add to this idea is when victor is kicked, he gets some stars spinning around his head and his pupils turn into Xs.
maybe birds spinning over his head, but the birds are all wearing hockey masks.

I've wanted them to add this sound to Blight's rush since launch, why can't we have fun things??
PERFECT!
-
I was especially worried because once on the 4.4.0 PTB bloodlust wouldn't activate while I was chasing a Dwight with OoO who had kidnapped my babby, and he infinitely looped me on an LT jungle gym, but I haven't seen anything like that so far with this change.
-
I dunno if they've buffed killers' speeds to make up for losing bloodlust, but I've been doing great without it. Had 2 4Ks and 1 3K+hatch as Dr, then a 4K as Myers, then a 4K as Freddy (who I suck at), and then a 0k as Billy who I also suck at, but I was doing the "2 chainsaws in 30 seconds" challenge which I got.
So everything looks great to me!

LET US DRINK THE REAGENT

After playing a bunch more, I've figured it out:
You cannot spawn Victor within about 30 meters of a hooked survivor, and you cannot switch if EITHER Charlotte or Victor is within about 30 meters of a hooked survivor (about the same distance as DH or MYC). Same goes for about 3 meters radius of the gate lever. There is no visual indicator of this beyond whether or not the controller prompt is present on the screen, which makes it very frustrating trying to figure out when you can do it, and makes it feel broken if you haven't figured out this rule.
The meter indicates two things; Victor's stamina while he's separated and not being controlled (it slowly goes down, and Victor automatically dies when it runs out), and the cooldown between Victor's death and the ability to spawn him again (which is only a couple seconds, and hardly needs a meter).
-
The power description says that the survivor suffers from "incapacitated", but nowhere does it say what "incapacitated" means. You'd think it would prevent them from just doing all their stuff normally and ignoring the screaming baby on their head! 🤷♀️
-
If you're seeing this please vote up the bug here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/202440/4-3-1-steam-unplayably-jittery

I'm having the same problem and it's driving me nuts! Seeing it as both killer and survivor (although it's not as noticeable as survivor). Are you seeing it as both, too?
-
it's happening as survivor, too, although not as noticeable. Look at how the other survivor's silhouette jumps 20 feet in this clip:

I got video but the forum kept saying it was too big to upload so I eventually gave up.

How do you have everyone on p3? I have 1600 hrs and maybe like 6 /7 survivors and 2 killers on p3
I don't have everyone at P3, just a few at P3, and a few more at P1 and P2. But "covered in blood" skin is not a compelling trade-off for "start the character over from scratch" for me. I know there's also some tweak to bloodweb item rarities, but as far as I can tell the difference is infinitesimal.

Hanging people on hooks was my one endorphin hit amidst the crushing existential dread of coronageddon, and now it's become passé...

Getting iridescent benevolent is pretty easy even without doing this. Just getting 2 safe unhooks seems to always get iridescent for me.
I'll give that a try next time.
