If you're confident in your own looping, I suggest a full information build so you can strategize better. Bond, Kindred, and Open Handed give you a large amount of information and can help your team make better decisions as well. The last perk is up to you, but I personally run Spine Chill for a little extra info on the killer as well as slightly more vaulting speed. Dead Hard or DS would work fine too though, the latter especially if you're stuck in tunneling killer ranks.
hey hey, somebody advocating for bond, kindred and open handed. I'm quite fond of that myself! I personally run Dead Hard since my loop game isn't the hottest.

I hate Haddonfield with every fiber of my being...it fills my soul with emptiness. I don't need to be told how bad it is.
With that said, I don't mind it as Demogorgon. Yes, you have all that annoying clutter, House of Pain, windows and stupid fences to deal with like every other killer(excluding perhaps top tier nurse? idk) which hampers your chase potential, however you don't need to chase a whole lotwith Demo. A heavy emphasis on portals lets me traverse opposite ends of the map very quickly while simultaneously seeing what every survivor is doing.
Portal Hex:Ruin. See where survivors are. See they are all on separate gens. Harass somebody off, preferably somebody near basement. Place the odd portal to defend generators later. Down somebody and attempt a basement play if you can. I run Agitation so I can do it more consistently. Portal the basement. Use your aura reading to either defend ruin, or pressure generators while also seeing anybody attempting a rescue. Force that person to second stage at the least. At this point you should have high STBFL stacks so even if your victim escapes, you can turn it into a terrible trade.
I'm not 100% sure if Demo can normally, but at least with Egg the survivor does not have enough time to cleanse a portal if you decide to portal back immediately. This can make cleansing your web of terror quite difficult. At the very least, it imposes a side objective that helps get at least one survivor off of generators. Survivors absolutely cannot afford to ignore them when they realize what addon they are against.
Once you gain the upper hand, especially when there's only 1-2 generators left, it can be very hard to come back from. You'll need to reset away from Demo's web, which will be set up near strategic points on the map as well as ones near generators. This means he doesn't need to commit to chases. He can portal around and meet you at every approach.

There’s no way you go against tombstone Myers that much too warrant getting sick of it. I see it 1 in every 100 games or so.
I used to see it semi-occasionally around all purple level. Definitely more common than Hag, Twins, Nurse and Plague combined, for what that may be worth. With SBMM, and since then I have not seen it.

You should play her more. She deserves more mains.
I really should since now is the perfect time. I was in a feedback loop of only playing Cheryl since she was my only surv with all the perks because killer addons eat all my BP(demo is my current bp sink), but I decided to branch out to Jill but then she got stung by a swarm of bees.
-
shes a free female survivor with one of the most popular solo q teachables, as well as boasting a high natural Stealth stat. She's going to be a popular character no matter what, and inevitably that means by sheer numbers that some less than pleasant people will play her.
I rarely play Claudette, but when I do I make sure to wear the flashiest clothes and charms possible with an anniversary crown because Claudette is too cool for school.
-
I wish Pig had more combat add-ons to choose from.
-
bubba ain't getting a rework just because he shreks solo q. I don't see why Mikey ought to.
As annoying as Tombstone is, I think Myers' addons in general are a gold standard for addons. He has multiple addons that drastically change his playstyle.
It sucks getting insta morid the first time you see Mookel, but lets be real here. If your team freely feeds Mikey Tier 3 like that, they'd probably goof against other killers too.(insta cleanse+immediately hopping into infected gens, anybody?)

Or you can not be a sweat lord that needs a 4k every match and just play...you know...for fun? The choice is yours buddy.
the problem is that a lot of the times you struggle just for a 1k if you want to bring a fun build. You can either have fun, or you can go full Blight build. Some nights you literally do not get a choice.

There's plenty of games where the killer is already doing well, and the survivors barely complete the last gen, then get hit by a very frustrating noed that they couldn't afford to prevent earlier. Just the icing on the cake. I think some of Otz's noed games can show that scenario, he was even playing more reserved so he wouldn't 4k before the end.
There's also the facecamping kind, where a killer camps someone to death, and then gets another kill from noed, or maybe even more. Generally it's not engaging for anybody and feels even worse for the camped survivor.
the first example is what I consider to be noed's most fair application. You successfully apply enough pressure that you corral the survivors into taking a gamble.
I kinda like noed on Nemesis. Chase well, hook well, burn vaccines, quickly get tier 2, make the entire map a dead zone and possibly already have 1-2 survivors killed. Doing all of that with only 3 perks will reward you with sealing the match. I think that aspect of noed is fair, although I could live without the ability to conceal noed. i think thats BS.
Although those kinds of cases are rare from what I've seen. getting noed kills with low hook count is super lame.

Think of the average intelligence of humans. We are literal primates. Expecting us to throw intelligent discussion at the boards instead of poop is really optimistic.
Realizing this helps make you not take what other people say so seriously. This is precisely why I deleted my Facebook because checking that every day was mentally exhausting.
This place has some super bad takes(i do too, so im not judging) but I wouldn't say it's any more negative and pessimistic than any other gaming community. Our console brethren at least have every right to be upset and disappointed.
Most people have here have their preconceived notions and not much in terms of outside influences will alter those. if you have a discussion regarding RPD, you'll have me saying RPD is fantastic and great and you'll have somebody else saying it's literally worse than stepping on a LEGO. Neither of us will ever persuade the other side, so discussing it is almost meaningless in the first place, outside of trying to fish for a community wide consensus on such a topic. I happen to find that consensus interesting, so that's kinda why I like coming here I guess.

Bond is really good. Very useful for taking the initiative and scoring points in the category you need.
-
As a casual Demo enthusiast, I am definitely not a tunneler.
A filthy disgusting sweaty proxy camper, yes. But I am not a tunneler.
-
looks fun. Not competitive, but I'd probably try something like this to shake things up.
I'm not a super huge fan of kicking generators as Nemesis though, so I naturally dislike Pop and Eruption on him.

Why isn’t Billy 110? Oh right, both of their powers are damn near useless at strong loops. Go ahead, play Blight at 110 on Hawkins. I WISH so deeply I could see you even try, it’d be hilarious. What a joke.
Blight has superior mobility to Billy. And heaven forbid that the poor #3 killer in the game who has insane addons actually has to M1 loop sometimes like 80% of dbd killers.

The trophy is NOT changeable on playstation, even with description. That's why devs said they can not reduce the condition of Skilled Huntress trophy from 100 to 20 likes they did on PC and Xbox.
any particular reason for that? overwatch has changed its achievement parameters before when it had character reworks

party bottle is the best meme addon in the game, ######### leave party bottle out of this

I know third seal doesn't work with killer objects like jigsaw boxes or purification fountains, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with plaything unless the devs specifically went out of their way to not make it work. Just be careful not to take any other hex perks otherwise you'll run out of totems.
jig boxes and plague fountains are highlighted in white, Plaything is a standard Detective's Hunch/Map reveal ain't it? If so, blindness should work with Plaything.
-
I don't understand why Blight isn't a 110 killer. It's one of life's greatest mysteries besides Deathslinger being a ranged killer while having a tiny TR, but Huntress and Trickster apparently need lullabies.
-
Nurse has her ######### blink bug and Spirit's audio is messed up which hurts both of their consistency. Currently I'd say Nurse is #1 but Blight may as well almost be tied with her even factoring in his own bugs.
I dunno where I'd put Spirit but she's definitely not top 3 right now. In fact, I have not seen a single Spirit pretty much since she broke.
-
I don't think survivors should really be able to use map offerings, but that's rich coming from me I guess since all I do is put up Midwich and RPD offerings immediately any time I get them.
It's definitely a crutch, but I feel it kinda makes sense for killers to be able to use map offerings because they are like clowns at a birthday party. Most of them just want to show the kiddies a magic trick and sometimes you need proper setup for it to even work.(Scratched Mirror and skillcheck Doc are probably the most famous cases)
-
I once got a Game 3 gen at the hole in the floor where there was a gen beside the hole upstairs, and other 2 were right by the hole down below.
The hatch ended up spawning like 20 meters away from the hole.
-
I hate Hillbilly.
-
i imagine BHVR would want chases lasting longer, so maybe all killers movespeed would be reduced or survivor perks would get buffed across theboard.
-
the video wasnt explicitly about power level, right? the doctor got so highly rated solely because of how satisfying and sadistic he is to play with. and Doctor is indeed those things, even if he isn't meta.

Old killers don't bring the monies, new chapters bring the monies. There is a bug in the game which has lasted for as long as I remember, and probably even longer: that "iron will on the ground" bug, which makes survivors silent when they are in the dying state. And it hasn't been fixed after all these years: I experienced it today. And you are talking about balance, funny! So no, 98% of their resources will continue to work on new chapters and cosmetics, because it's the main source of profit for them.
cannibal is the #1 most recommended DLC for anybody who is interested in the killer role. older chapters can be milked for a long time if they are still desirable to people whether it be related to fun, teachables, cosmetics etc.

This is pvp. Nobody is getting scared anymore after 10 hours tops. The horror aspect is just a theme for a multiplayer game.
Achieving the respective objective should be challenging and rewarding regardless of side.
The game should be balanced and fair. Nobody should be op. This is not a place for power fantasies.
If you prefer to take on an op character, I suggest you try playing Deathgarden. Oh, wait...
There is an entire armada of Spine Chill gamers because certain killers still scare players after many hours.

his tentacle is already unforgiving and brutal, this just makesit a bit bearable
-
I may get the glazed demogorgon but that'd probably be it.
-
Ghostface, although any Stealth killer really. When I play with friends they have slightly annoying mics, usually make annoying noises or talk loud and tend to go on drunken tangents so any killer that requires us to concentrate really hard and be perceptive are like kryptonite.

It's PC only. The patch is released blindly on console and we basically have to trust the QA team.
more specifically, steam only. I have dbd on Windows Store so I can't play Clown on Ptb 😥

not all of them. Iridescent stone, bloody coil, Claxcombed clapper, Tuft of hair, Iridescent king and queen, mint rag, mother daughter ring, black incense are all great addons
leprose lichen, redheads finger and iridescent pin are also bloodpoints well spent.
-
my matches as killer werebetter with SBMM, and I was able to reach and hold Rank 1 much easier than before. I don't know what that means but that's how it went for me.
-
why are we giving survivors a bloodlust perk? The activation requirements are also ridiculous.
I'm down for perks that discourage tunneling, and I personally have been enjoying Lucky Break more than Decisive, but I don't think this perk is it.
If anything, I could see this perk tilting killers and make them want to tunnel you even more. If all 4 survivors are running it, then you're most definitely going to be face camped.
-
I really hate being the cynical jerk that's depressing and no fun at parties, but I think it's clear BHVR either does not care in the slightest, or is simply unable to fix it. It's simply been way too long.

Was there a nerf I missed? Or is this referencing the Barbs glasses/lifeguard whistle nerf from a while back?
Because if we're just talking about that old nerf (which i was quite salty about, not gonna lie. favoritism at its finest) then that's fine, Demo is in a decent spot. As long as I have my Leprose Lichen idc.

What add-ons do you Run(Depleted Ink Ribbon?)
Ideally, I run Serotonin Injector and Marvin's Blood. If I'm missing one, I'll opt for Broken Recovery Coins and Depleted Ink Ribbons.

usually something like bbq, lethal pursuer, surge, starstruck. i like to keep on the go as Nemmy so perks that help me stay on the hunt are welcome.
These days I've been going full end game, though. Something like No Way Out, Remember Me, Noed, Bloodwarden that kind of thing.

Well I am currently on a break, but it sucks that this back cause I am on Ps4. Guess I will continue to stay on break.
As you said, a new killer is coming soon, so hopefully it gets better. No matter who it is though no console person should be buying it before they verify the game is actually working properly.
I started this game in December, so post launch twins. So far, both Trickster and Nemesis launches have utterly wrecked console performance, and have been utter train wrecks. Trickster release was such a ######### time. I'd like to be optimistic but it's hard.

im sorry to hear that, thats quite unacceptable and ridiculous.
