It's...frustrating.
Everyone gets less BP when you actively avoid all chases and I'm not sure how much 'fun' it is for these groups either. I mean...yeah, you won - but you barely played the game. It's like taking the 'joke ending' early in a Far Cry game and saying you finished it.
That said, what really grates my cheese are teams that will stall out games forever on 1 gen and instead play hide and seek around the map because they gave you a 3gen. Had an absolute nightmare of a game last night like this that honestly is making me hesitant to play today.
An Ash and a Meg stalled the game out for over an hour because they were sulking and knew that the map was big and dense enough for them to be nearly impossible to locate. That shouldn't be a thing.
Idk about you but the FC4 joke ending made me give up on playing FC4 normally.

Because voice chat breaks the game. Just look at swf. Also if im not wearing a headset in a public match it means i dont want to talk or hear someones crying baby because they forgot to turn off their mic.
Then turn voice chat off and let us solo q players delegate who will go forthe Lament Configuration.
Swf is how DVD should be played, it's not breaking the game. What's breaking the game is BHVR Not accommodating that with solo q

You missed the point entirely.
A worthless perk doesn't NEED a nerf. A worthless perk should be reworked or buffed if anything because having worthless perks in this game is stupid. This perk doesn't need a nerf, you want a nerf because you hate a meme build that can be done on Bubba. That's not enough justification to gut an already bad perk.
Just run Kindred and stop complaining.
I'm not the one asking for an Insidious nerf, I think you're the one missing my point?
I'd actually like Insidious to be better, if I could mindgame with it more often on a chase killer like Legion that be dope

Hmm.. is it even possible to save someone from a face camping bubba? If insidious is nerfed then at least others will not run into this trap.
Eh, I dont think TR is a huge factor concerning altruism against Bubba; his playstyle is boring that squads would rather encourage these lazy killers by getting 4kd than just pump gens and let their friends die
People get so bored they just want to die. That needs addressing more imo.
-
Insidious is a message more than an actually useful perk. Nerfing it wont change a Bubbas MO lol.
People who play Bubba want to power trip you, and they'll do it with or without this crappy perk.
-
I normally like aggressive chase killers like Nemmy and Legion.
I'm drawn to Demo for his flexibility though. I love options, fall back and insurances. Plan A doesnt work? Time for Plan Z.
I dont like choosing a dedicated Control killer so I like being able to lean into Control instead of depending on it
-
I play him maybe once a week. I usually 4k by bringing either q Mary's Letter or Game offering with Stqrstruck.
He doesnt feel that fun honestly but hes ok if you bring a killer sided map
-
Easily turns a 0k into a 1k or more
Can easily turn a 2k into a 4k
Guaranteed 4k if you close the hatch
It's easy to see why it's considered good.
Wont do you much good when you get crunched so hard that you have 0 hooks but in those cases, no amount of slowdown would have helped you either.
-
Because it's fun messing with Mikarlas
-
10 minute queues hinge on the assumption that the lobby wont glitch out and wes have to reboot the game
-
Slice of Frank is weird. Its effect is devastating but I feel its application isnt as exciting as I 8magined. Definitely weaker than other exhaust addons.
I'm looking at this from the SWF angle, though. This addon will surprise the 1st person, but after that the survivors will likely be more cautious ie no Box grabbing while injured.
I personnaly believe in my humble, boosted opinion think his most overlooked addon is Chatterers Tooth.
People read the addon and process it as "gain stealth in exchange for Pinhead being punished for picking up the Box" but being able to see the Box is honestly more huge than people give it credit for.
-
I remember not even knowing what DBD was when I saw the trailer at e3 or whatever. Amogus killer looked cool, but man what a huge jebait if you ask me.

Im not english, what do you mean by linger tech ? Maybe I know in my language but in english I dont see what it is
You have to preemptively tentacle and drag it into the survivor. This allows you to hit around corners, get surprise hits through windows etc.
@Anara said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2648588#Comment_2648588
What if the survivors avoid at all cost these safe tentacle hit and just let you M1 them ?
I cant get my contamination fast enough
Those games are tough, honestly. Sometimes it's better to just get the hit, but now with Boons it might be better to keep trying to infect. You absolutely need the vaccines gone after the last gen pops or else you lack pressure.
Imo, Lethality is a nice band aid fix for Nemesis. I personally love Starstruck to help make up for lost time spent infecting survivors. Not a fan of STBFL though
-
You grow a pair of balls and pray your hail marys connect.
Its rough, because nemesis loses so, so hard if you lose a gamble, and his tentacle is so telegraphed that if you whiff it, survivors will immediately disrespect you and not take you seriously.
Safe Nemesis, aka tentacle only at guaranteed hits, is the best and most consistent way to play him but that only gets us so far tbh.
I still find him comfortable to stomp with, even though he gives me a ton of anxiety
-
Rpd and midwich are objectively the best maps in Dbd
-
Trapless Trapper at max bloodlust is lowkey overpowered
-
I hate it when they've been offline for like a month.
You're on Steam dude...change your name. Unless wasting our time was the point?
Idk, I've never once thought to check a streamers content if they were offline.
But if they are live, even if they are all trash talking me, I love playing against Twitchers. I value their...experience and opinion even if its negative.

Nah, it is inexcusable. If they were saying this about, idk, Spirit...I would've understood (with a bit of effort, granted).
But Myers? That is way too far.
I can kinda get it...dude 99s tier 3 and just pops it when its convenient. Feels a bit lame, but it's honestly benign when compared to what we have going on now.
-
I think I would prefer facing her like that tbh. It's honestly annoying how large her lullaby is and it's not even directional.
-
@Brokenbones said:
I used to think 'The Game' was a horrible map for survivor back when I started playing (Around the time plague came out)
Tbf, Gideons was killer sided before he rework...mostly.
-
Noed and Myers have perma wall hacks because of Expose
-
Jolt.
-
I remember on the last SBMM test weekend, I was getting paired against all rank 1 survivors who were God awful potatoes. Legit bot tier. These max rank survivors got carried by the pip system and then when the algorithms changed, they were clearly in the wrong league.(that version of sbmm was clearly trash canned)
-
I just like getting really high, send the poor killer to RPD and sandbag my team.

Those times ended. Legion is.. not viable right now, i don't think anyone could do big 4k streak with him.
Legion needs something spicy tbh. Thana, dying light, Ruin etc. Just doesnt cut it if you ask me.
I dont play them as much these days, but I consistently 3 or 4k with Lethal, BBQ, Agitation Starstruck. Ditch the slowdowns unless it's called No Way Out.
-
Demo. I save him for when I'm right pissed tbh.
Corrupt, ruin, agitation STBFL with leprose lichen+unknown egg and Ebony Mori.
Immediately portal Ruin and set up a web. Drag downed survivors to my web. Have at least 2 portals near hook/basement, and just portal 2 feet away to see who is going for the save and who is working the gennies.
If nobody is coming for the unhook, I'll punish them hard for that by pressuring gens+totem. Then I'll use my game sense to portal back to the hook and use STBFL to cause massive damage.
The funny thing about my build is that survivors dont know about my secret weapon: THE EGG! Normally a worthless addon, but this bad boi makes it LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to cleanse my portals if they stealth me and let me portal away. You cant cleanse it fast enough.
This portal pressure creates a deadly side objective that CANNOT be ignored, much like Party Hats, Lament Configuration and Plaything. Combine that with my constant aura reads, it's a steady barrage of pressure.
People are so used to the Scott Demo who is a great chase killer that they dont know how to play against a scratch mirror Hag Demo.
-
New players lack the ability to loop, so they stealth. Doc counters that
Then you get a little better at looping.... and doc counters that
It's easy to see why hes complained about even though hes average at best.

Once RE is added you mean?
If we cant get a dedicated RE chapter, I'd love to at least get a Dimitrescu skin for Freddy
-
Legion hands down
Their kit maxes you out fast, and their killer instinct helps keep you in the action

It's not that big issue if you learn to watch out, if his hand is open / fist. Then just go into a locker, so he can't mori you, or just be in some animation -> gen, vault.
That doesnt take PWYF into account, which he sadly kinda needs to use

I wonder if this is a high MMR thing?
Against me, they cleanse constantly. I'm running around will my red vommy for half the game, and never run out of fountains to drink.
You pretty much have to earn the right to not be cleansed against as a rule of thumb from my experience
-
Good riddance, honestly. I hated the fast and convenient suicide booths.
It sucks as the last survivor for sure, but it's a net positive I believe.
-
I prefer slug over slowdown.
Either the match is over fast, or I get a couple chances to turn the game around
Also, any chance to use Soul Guard+ Unbreak a Bill is welcome imo.
Twins+Infectious Nurse>>>>>>>>>>>> old Sweaty Freddy+ Ruin Undying Tinkerer Blight

I genuinely remember the day the DLC released. I was being driven home from my part time job really excited to use the ten quid I'd just earned to purchase it.
I even got Nancy to P350 all perks and play her semi frequently thanks to @Respectfulnancymain daring me to.
It honestly does feel like the end of an era. One of the best chapters in DBD history, and now it'll be gone forever (almost, as far as we know).
Tbh, as someone who doesnt care about ST in the slightest....this is a bad day for dbd. ST chapter is the best chapter if you ask me. What a great value :(
-
I've been liking it on Plague. The gens are infected, so this perk helps eliminate panic DHs when I cruise by with Tinkerer
-
Proxy camp a survivor and hope the unhooked doesnt have BT, just like the Plague Challenge.
Exciting challenge.
-
Yeah, its excessive. Just like face camping at 5 gens. Its pathetic honestly.
I've slugged at 5 gens before but I only do that if I feel bad for somebody, like old killer sided pallets
-
I try to play as fair and nicely as I can and merely mimic how the survivors play.
That said, my builds these days on average look like this:
Lethal Pursuer, BBQ, No Way Out, NOED.
I like to go hard and fast and never stop, which is what Lethal and BBQ is good for. But if I'm clearly too much, I ease up and give the survivors a chance.
Before, some survivors would essentially spit in your face for going easy so that's why I use NWO+NOED. Instead of being bitter and merciless, I just pay half my perk slots for Killer Insurance.
No Way Out is healthy anyways as it requires you to not tunnel for a while. I prefer to only kill people at the end with NOED.
-
Yeah, prayer tablet Plague is dope. I'm in love tbh.
As somebody who cut their teeth on Legion, I dont mind having "no power". My built in Iron Will counter is enough for me to go on.
-
Its a shame BHVR is losing it's best DLC
-
In no particular order:
Using both Twins to secure a down
Landing a cracked Nemmy prediction shot over obstacles
Triple Oni Kanabo
Nurse gen grab with no discordance or tinkerer
Missing a shot as Huntress
-
Oh my God that's funny
-
Numbers mean nothing without context.
I support the general idea, but not the execution of following it blindly like a robot
-
It's just asking to get camped out or something.
I dont think it's worth it
Imo I find Scary Terry even harder to find while awake.
-
Hag is ugly and gross
-
DVD would ruin any song I'd be trying to enjoy tbh
-

So if this is true, then why don't we get any video evidence to back this up?
Not saying it's not true or anything, but since there's never been any announcements about it, it would wise to actually show the gameplay against the "bots"
Because it seems like q new player thing. If you quickly rise out of bot mmr, you may not even notice it.
-
You camp because pre drop and you dont have the time
You pre drop because you dont want to get camped
