Ok so I'm not crazy. I made a smurfs on PC to try out Artist on ptb and after waiting 30 minutes I got paired with bots.
Sadly my bots were dumb, they let Acebot bleed out. After the match they immediately go "ggwp killer!" Even though I slugged them all to use my power more.
Why are there bots......

It's a negative feedback loop. The blame isnt on killer or survivor specifically, it's the game as a whole that brings out the worst in us

Face camp at 5 gens is just as pathetic as body locking with Pig. Doesnt matter that the strategy sucks, it's not fun for anybody.

Some people wish killer were 3rd person, but I've always disagreed simply because I treat the killer role as murder simulation. The immersion of ending a life is worth more than any in game advantage.

At least powerful enough that survivors will lose if they dont work together. People have this opinion that if the killer downs you, he's op. He's not. If you lead him on a good chase that your team did gens you came out on top. But people only see from their perspective. They see they got caught and claim "killer op, not fun, plz nerf"
Considering you cant get people to value their lives enough to do Pinheads box, asking people to work together is simply asking too much.

What gets me is when players can dish it but cant take it.
Tea bagging every pallet is an open invitation to proxy camp that second stage if you ask me, so that's why I dont do it myself. Because I value my life lol

I love getting sent to Haddonfield and I just portal the Myers house and Ruin and whoever goes down first gets basemented courtesy of Agitation.
Unlike smooth brained Bubba, its fun and exciting to face camp with Demo because you can face camp while harassing generators and protecting Ruin

I still love Legion. Shadowstep, the only actual annoying Boon is something that is irrelevant to them for the most part.
My build is Lethal Pursuer, BBQ(or No Way Out), Agitation Starstruck.
Pretend to be a Legion Gamer, but actually fake it and double back, down them and use their body to inflict punishment.
Whether you are injured or healthy, I have stopping power. Legions biggest weakness is getting cucked and Starstruck puts a stop to that
Some survivors legitimately Pikachu face when you dont Mass Frenzy, like it's an incomprehensible idea.

That isn't even just a killer thing. Imagine being a survivor and every game is just boring M1 holding while the killer camps/tunnels one person, resulting in you getting like no points, no fun, no anything.
Do you have any idea how many times I've played killer or survivor and the killer fails to do much all game, but gets several hooks and then 2 kills by the end of the game because the survivors just stop doing gens and mess around with the killer? Because guess what? No one gains anything from actually escaping or getting more kills, so you're actively encouraged not to. Evidently 2 survivors throwing themselves to death so commonly means the game you played and got absolutely destroyed in goes in the "balanced" statistics pile.
That's basically me lol. If I encounter a baby Blight or something I'll basically sandbag the whole match trying to get him to chase me and mess around.
I want games where stuff happens, not a 4 man escape/4k. This is why I detest Bubba, because the match becomes ez mode.

Do you really think a 3-gen is all it takes to win though? You have to have hooks on multiple people already so you can get someone out. Otherwise, 4 survivors can easily overpower a 3-gen.
As Pinhead I've never had an issue. Just corral the Box holder towards Shack, drop box with Franklin's and never pick up the box.

CoH frees up a player to stay on gens instead of healing you which is far more efficient then maybe losing the killer with shadowstep
Losing survivors is annoying but what I dislike more is losing the initiative. SS makes me waste precious time trying to find Survivors when before you needed Distortion.
Are they hiding in a locker? Are they within your TR? or are they on Shadowstep? Only God knows now.
At least with CoH, if you find it you can leave it because you know where the survivors will scurry off to the second they are hurt.

CoH is the weakest boon available right now.
Shadowstep saves health states far more than CoH replenishes them.

If they wanna body block, then you wait 12 seconds and slug them or hook them.
It's the same dealio as if an unhooked survivor does a gen in your FoV; they clearly dont value their life, so it's now forfeit. Nothing personal, just business.

I like this theory of yours, it's very plausible.
I personally think BHVR gutted it for Boons and to stick it to Pinhead. I dont think they ever considered his potential to be an annoying mosquito. I think they were terrified of Devour Hope Pinhead

Shadowstep is worse than every other boon combined.

I've given up on my old play styles. My philosophy is run Lethal Pursuer in conjunction with end game perks and try to kill survivors faster than they can escape.
No Way Out is a staple and a mainstay imo, and what better perk to pair it with than Noed? Anybody who is on death hook gets obliterated.
Ruin is merely a means to help me build No Way Out stacks

I dont think you're looking at this from the right angle.
Why is Pinhead Larry being nerfed? Because solo q. More specifically because BHVR refuses to give solo q tools to communicate.
If we bump up Solo games, our killer roster can become more complex, engaging and demanding.

As long as BHVR can keep acquiring new players faster than people quit, I doubt they care. That's their whole strategy.

This is all people need to hate Trickster. His kit could be giving water to orphans and volunteering at an elderly dog shelter and the amount of people who utterly loathe his existence will not decrease. Sorry to call it like it is, but this playerbase is quite irrational when it concerns what "belongs" in DbD.
But yeah, his actual kit leaves much to be desired and is only really optimal on PC.

The buffs won't make the worst ones better. The nerfs (usually in region of a ridiculous 50%!) make his useful ones mostly worthless and bland.
Sigh. At least the new killer looks pretty dope. A pity, because I really liked Pinhead as is. I regularly got pooped on by good survivors - he really wasn't that strong. Barely even 'B' tier.
As I said to Obscurity, you dont run Chatterer for the stealth. It's just free bloat. But now it might actually get me grab once in a blue moon I guess.

I hope you folks on Epic actually get what us Xbox players got with Gamepass. Considering the gargantuan grind in this game, I couldn't imagine needing to pay an upfront cost for this game.

Lethal Pursuer got buffed despite the forum meltdown, and his other 2 perks got buffed.
