Nemesis will be S tier when he gets his once-per-trial Rocket Launcher.
-
did i miss something in that video? seemed like average gameplay to me. both the killer and survivors were both really good, and both made mistakes.
Seemed like that Nurse had nothing going for her so she tunneled the person she had a hook on out. Whether it was Nurse or Sadako, the end result would likely be the same. If a killer wants you out, there's not much you can do, especially with that devastating 1 stack of No Way Out.

fixing Claires face will bring back Grandma/Bee-sting Jill, I'm calling it.
-
I have not seen any particular pattern or trend.

Why don't survivors get nearly as many fun bugs as killers? istg every killer bug ends up being one that gives them a decent advantage with that killer in trial. Almost never happens on survivor side. Last good one was Midwich.
Fun is subjective, but there was that Breakdown bug a few months ago where for some reason it just broke hooks permanently.
Clairvoyance had the ability to push other people slightly iirc

Whichever group Feng is in.
She would probably appreciate my memes and references

It's not a shocker that a huge, game altering update had some growing pains.
Knee jerk reactions dont really help anybody, both from the community and the developers(Bhvr listened to the Lucky Break hysteria and ended up reverting that community-demanded change)
We all know BHVR loooooves their numbers, so I'm confident they're collecting data and will do some adjustments for 6.2
I'd just recommend taking a break right now if the new changes are not to ones own taste.
All Bhvr would likely say is "we are closely monitoring the situation and will make adjustments shortly" which wont mean anythingto anybody, so eh, idk.

I had a boil over team bring an rpd offering tonight. I really don't get the appeal, it wasn't a fun match for me but it really wasn't a fun match for them either, I made sure of that.
I usually play very nicely but don't do that
What's even the point of that anymore?
Sometimes theres hooks in the library so if they spawn there the boil over gamers just look like fools
-
I just like rpd what more can I really say
-
Us console players just need to get better gaming chairs
-
Hooks are just a means to an end, however it's not nice to let animals you hunt for sport suffer so I try to avoid letting them bleed out.l
That being said, as a survivor I will make myself unhookable if possible only if the killer was an absolute dingus as a "final F U " as that's the only form of control and self expression I have left

I can't speak for everyone, but for me it's an extremely valuable perk in Solo Que, up there with kindred, as it lets you know what pallets your team mates have used. it also makes it significantly easier to plan a chase route.
They should remove seeing breakable walls though as it just clutters pallet auras and does nothing for me as survivor haha.
It might be clutter but it's useful clutter; it can act as an Alert and tell you where the killer is. Best part is, Windows is unaffected by Undetectable
-
yeah i'd put pinhead at a solid A tier now.

You can take bbq from my cold, dead, lifeless, mangled and hemorrhaged hands.

I am having the exact same experience. In conjunction with the throwing survivors, I can genuinely see why so many people are upset. Killers are playing more mean than ever, survivors are "chilling" more than ever. I joked about it before, but I am living Sluzzy's nightmare world. Every weird exaggeration they have ever made has been coming true on this patch. Lol.
For normal killers like us, the rational response to this update would be to not sweat for the 4th survivor unless that last guy deserved it(in which case you give hatch to the 3rd guy for their time)
But it seems like we are a minority, and none of us deserve nice things I suppose
-
Prestige tax is fine I guess; you pay forthe teachables.
But the bloodwebs suck, I hate being level 1 when I want addons..
-
Bhvr hates Jeryl so much because it reveals BHVRs programming incompetence; they cant patch out 1 string of spaghetti code that keeps coming back. I dont think the licence holders care nearly as much as BHVR despite their licensing obligations.
This is just their latest attempt at fixing the store glitch but it wont stay patched for long.
-
I guess its just how PH is designed, or at least how people want to play him.
Tunnel people off of cages, throw em back on the hook, then when they get off the hook just immediately slap em with an ebony mori.
-
I remember hearing Otz mention that you might have to actually heal for a quick moment using WGLF before you can pop FTP, but whether or not thats true is beyond me. if thats true, that kinda severely limits the perk atm...you literally dont have time for that when using FTP.

removing the double stun on nurse from dropping a pallet was a mistake
-
noed could be a hex that when blessed/cleansed, will transfer to a dull totem except when the gates are powered.

There are sites that auto-log IP's.
Yikes.

It was every ######### week on my Xbox One, almost daily, iirc.
Had a wonderful group of people keep hitting me off. Funny what happened to them tho
DDOS has been an issue on Xbox ever since the 360 from my experience. If I may ask, were these people able to boot you off without you needing to join a party? Because When I was a kid, they needed me to join their xbox party in order to get my IP Address or w/e so I've stopped joining random parties entirely because of that.
-
I've seen one or two Onis use it
-
for me it's been a tossup between stealthy, objective-minded survivors who are all packing Sprint Burst+Lithe for when the stealth fails, and survivors who just immediately give up the millisecond they see that they are playing against the Killer from Dead by Daylight.
Distortion has gotten more popular, but thankfully it's usually never more than one at a time if I see it, so I've been getting a ton of value out of BBQ, Lethal Pursuer and Floods of Rage.
Chases are shorter, but they are taking longer to initiate instead. I've been finding myself sometimes tunneling simply because I can't find anybody else and I ain't got time to look for em either.
-
"Starting the car" so to speak is not an abuse, a cheat or an oversight. It's just smart play.
Personally, I think exit gates should have % thresholds that will regress if left for a period of time however that's a different topic
If you can't kill the person you are tunneling off the hook by the time they make it to the gate, that's a fair escape.
-
I was curious what sort of thread you'd make on the matter; I was not disappointed
Who knows, it's always possible that Clown will lose and Dredge will get a Maurice skin.
-
I wasnt here for old Freddy, but what exactly was peoples problem with him? The fact that hes into NTR? Because I love Judith's Tombstone despite the gameplay loop being just "Staring at survivors menacingly and Break Pallet simulator"
I think theres room in this game for a more passive killer.
-
If you just kick generators survivors will kill themselves for you

Btw does someone know why there aren't any new cosmetics for her? Is that some licensing limitation?
Konami is lazy and terrible company, IPs they own just languish unless there is gacha/pachinko profits...
Tbh I'm still shocked we got James

I forgot how powerful Lethal Pursuer Starstruck Nurse was on 2019

Is it not instantaneous?

The longest 4 man escape streak was 500+ and it only ended because the group got bored.
Please .... just leave pros with insane skills out of the discussion about meta. 99.9999999999% of players are and will never be that level of skill. DBD isnt balanced from top down.
And if we were to balance the game from top down survivors would have to be nerfed so hard it would kill the game in a single day.
Also congrats SupaAlf for the amazing, impressive, thick, girthy and long win streak
Overwatch started balancing for the top down to push its esports scene and it kinda killedthe game for me
-
I love it when killers lag so bad they jitter aroundthe map. Pallet Stunning is more likely to throw them to your side of the pallet
-
Even if you never ran DH, you benefitted from its existence passively.
Now that passive protection is gone, so even if you never used it you are still heavily affected by the DH nerf as asurvivor

"Hang on guys, I have to stand here awkwardly for like 6 seconds before I can actually hit you." What made that play style fun? Genuinely curious.

I'm happy being able to run those perks because I just like them now.
No more WGLF farming, which is a Solo Q buff.
-
Why cant BHVR and Komoney leave us Jeryl mains alone, we ain't hurtin nobody 😔
-
I haven't played it long enough to develop negative feelings towards it.
It exists, but it hasn't stood out to me yet.

Calm Spirit removes an entire killer tracking method for the entire game. It absolutely deserves to have a downside added to it.
Shadowstep exists already
-
Crazy how an asymmetrical game treats its power role differently
-
its to be expected that a major shakeup will lead to hiccups and growing pains so people automatically declaring the apocalypse are just being overly dramatic.
At least give it until the first corrective patch before signalling the End Times
-
Calm Spirit making bone tickling silent is actually a really cool buff, I would consider running that on my totem muncher builds. shame
-
@Phasmamain said:
Yeah especially on suffocation pit and asarov’s this is a huge issue. Basically a guaranteed win for the killer if gens spawn right which they generally do
Azarov's is the worst. Sometimes you can entirely ignore one half of the map, like what the heck is that
-
id run ebony moris every game if i could. they are neat but there are clear benefits to running them.
Catching a downed death hook survivor has a 0% chance of survival. Pallets are useless, no bodyblocking and no kind of shenanigan like a double locker save can be attempted.
Not depleting your finite amount of non-basement hooks shouldn't be discounted either. Very useful on levels such as Midwich with questionable hooks, as well as help managing survivors carrying Boil Over, Power Struggle or Flip Flop. Gives you the option of using a Scourge Hook perk or saving them which is useful.
Lastly there's the psychological component to it. It's like an open declaration of war.
-
they should have killed coh and left self care, but that would have made too much sense
-
blast mine gamer spotted?
-
yeah my games have been lightning fast.
unless its RPD, that one takes a while for some reason, and Im never sure if its a ragequit because its RPD or if its just taking forever.
