Please explain to me how a perk that rewards going after a single person more than others not encouraging tunneling, and don't tell me "The perk changes obsessions" because survivors can easily drop pallets early.
This was the case with old Dying Light, and this would be a smaller but the same problem with this change.
as player who plays with nemesis every game, survivors predrop pallets 1 game out of 15. Even then, 5% speed buff is not enough to make killer throw the game, hit bt, eat ds and tunnel one person to death while 4 gens are done. This is not effective strategy Only thing you should be scared off is 135% pwyf bubba
-
@DawnMad said:
No need for a new perk that encourages tunneling.
We need a wiki page for meaning of tunneling for people like you
-
Imagine PWYF bubba running at you at 135% speed

Hexy. Killer main and fun guy

Of course slugging is tunneling. If the Killer goes after the unhooked person, they are tunneling, regardless if they pick the Survivor up or not. Not getting hit by DS because of slugging does not mean that the Killer was not tunneling. The same the other way around, getting hit by a DS from a Survivor who was repairing a Gen does not mean that the Killer tunneled.
1st tunneling is desire to chase and hook same person over and over ignoring other people. Tunneler will pick you up. slugging means he just wants to apply pressure
2nd if killer came to a hook and can't find your unhooker he'll chase you and slug you, because youre the only one he can see.
Slugging is not tunneling since you have chance to use your anti-slug perks or getting picked up by teammates
-
Slugging is not tunneling. Just hop in a locker if you want to prevent slugging
I can't believe someone's suggesting desicive buffs

Just to play Devil's advocate for a minute, what would it mean to "be lucky" with chests? Is it just higher item rarity? But a Rainbow Map is not as useful as a Skeleton Key. And if you're injured, you'll probably want a Ranger Med-Kit over a toolbox of equal rarity, unless you have Adrenaline and want to rush that last gen so you and your teammates can open a door and escape.
or you can use appraisal and loot literally everything every game

Expectation is not the same as an official release date though (Don't get me wrong, I understand what your saying, but "delayed" is not accurate in this case).
Even if it's not accurate, nobody cares
-
@Zarr0ch said:
ITS NOT DELAYED! THEY NEVER GAVE A RELEASE DATE FFS
they had stable schedule for more than a year. We can call it delayed because we were expecting it
-
Use on doctor. Pick and hook/drop then shock and oneshot nearby survivor

That's cool that small game detects fake pallets, though who's going to run Small game just to counter the 1 in 500 Freddy's who use fake pallets?
it detects totems, hag and trapper traps and pallets. It can work well in some totem builds
-
Maps work with snares but this is not very useful
-
If you're m1 killer use surge. They synergise well
-
still dissaponted locker DS is a thing. Killers should be able to slug you if they want to
-
When i see survivor's aura at start of the match
-
Why would i play Trickster when we have much stronger speed limiter billy

why? so solo's can bully killers. Great idea 🤣
i don't undersand your logic

Stronger killers is the problem. You think spirit or nurse won't get nerfed again lol. Just Imagine, everyone playing spirits and nurse and 1 person gets so good at nurse. Well, you get the idea.
so.. nerf strong killers?
-
SWF needs their mmr to be increased for matchmaking. More members means higher average mmr so they'll meet stronger killer
-
Weekly nerf meta and buff weak perks.
-
I have a better idea: Injured survivors in your terror radius are exausted. That's all. Rip dead hard
-
99% are going down even without shaking in my experience
-
Thana + pop are much more consistent. Or even surge. They can't cleanse that
-
all these + Hag - Twins. Twins are fun
-
Hyped for Wraith and Blight more than for Trickster. He's F tier
-
escaping with new item or pipping. either counts
-
stop tryharding with top tier perks in SWF and problem is gone

What if Iron Will simply made injured Survivors breathe like healthy Survivors, rather than nearly mute out all sound?
That would be better, but Perk is outdated. Look at off the record - nice survivor perk completely overshadowed by iron will needs condition to work or timer
-
Iron will and dead hard. Delete it ASAP
-
Neas of course. These Noob3 wannabes most toxic and annoying in my expirience
-
There is no place for luck in DBD. Everything should be skill based
-
1 question: do you ever play solo queue?
-
you'll lose some games and then you'll play against weaker survivors. that's how mmr works in every game
-
Amount of people with dead hard avatar who got triggered is hilarious. I hope they'll nerf it soon and YOU actually have to get gud because you can't undo your mistakes anymore
-
@Koukdw said:
It doesn't need a nerf.
It have plenty of counterplay already. Nerfing it would just reduce the skill cap for both killer and survivor.
Stop making the game even more boring than it already is.
You guys are the reason this game is so boring and survivor just press w.
i bet you're fan of iron will too. I'll camp you if we meet
-
@dspaceman20 said:
I would say to just limit the number of time you can use dead hard. 3 uses and afterwards that's it. You permanently have the exhaustion status.
such counter-untuitive mechanic shouldn't exist at all. DH needs complete rework

But it does make sense. Since the MMR has been using data created by the extremely flawed current rank-as-matchmaker system, someone who has had a lot of wins on, say, Legion due to getting much weaker opponents under the current, broken system, will end up starting under MMR with a High MMR on Legion (due to those undeserved successes).
But yet, in reality, Legion is not anywhere near strong enough to take on High MMR survivors and SWFs. So, that Legion player is now out of their depth.
Nurse and Spirit, and to a degree Freddy, are the very few killers who can take on High MMR survivors, especially SWFs. So, High MMR survivors are going to end up facing a ton of them most likely. Meanwhile, many of the other killers will continue to rot between low and mid MMR.
And until MMR settles, a lot of those weaker killer players who started with a high MMR because of the flawed data collected to get to the point of MMR launch, are going to have some hated matches. Meanwhile, I imagine High MMR survivors are going to get tired of killers like Spirit and Nurse very quickly.
DbD has a host of killer design issues, and I think MMR is going to really highlight that.
i don't think there is gonna be so much bad matches to get your actuall mmr. What can i say about survivors - tryhard less and don't play swf
-
@hentailord said:
My experience is i face a lot of swf with haddonfield offering i got destroy every time. This was the worst game experience i could get. What i gain from that experience is if you dont play spirit or nurse you wont have fun so its time for me to learn spirit or stop playing
that doesn't make sense since every killer has own mmr
-
@MadLordJack said:
It didn't solve the problem of losing to predrop-and-W. In fact, it heavily inflated it. Because apparently skilled survivors just don't even play the game.
let them just go up. To Nurses and Spirits
-
So, what will you do when they nerf her? Drop dbd?
-
It's almost always 3 weeks after ptb starts. DLC will drop on march 23

Well I just got a huntress that got 0 hooks all game and I think maybe 3 actual hits all game.
I then queued up as killer, haven't played much since rank reset but got this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/RN4N0F2WINAB/image.png
I am going to keep queuing as the same killer and see what happens....
you're just too good apparently (or mmr sucks)

In order to even understand if it's remotely working or what it's doing we kinda need to know one thing.
Does it start working immediately, utilizing information and statistics it gathered from matches prior to being activated; or does it only start gathering that information now that it's been turned on?
If the latter (which I assume is the case), roughly how many matches would it be before it should have enough to start trying to make matches it feels make sense?
if most people don't meet that threshold wouldn't one day not be long enough of a test to really gauge how well it works? Since it would only be really be in full effect for people who have been playing a lot.
Thanks.
it was collecting data for more than a year

Now that you've mentioned it, there is indeed an insane amount of Prove Thyself's lately. However, one Prove Thyself means one less Unbreakable, DS, Dead Hard... So, it is not that bad.
1 prove thyself means 15% more gens speed. It is that bad

There's a lot of great games out there if you only focus on this game it drains you. Trust me been there done that. The healthiest thing I do now with dbd is play more of other games as well.
Yeah i know. I dropped this game for 2 years somewhere after Pig release because of how unfun it was to play killer. Problem is if you come back after, there is too much stuff to grind

We're nearly 5 years deep into this game. But after the recent hud update, animation changes and trickster nerf I think it's finally common knowledge that they're not listening.
well, until there is another good assymetric game to play i have nothing else to do
-
Let's give killer additional task since defending gens and applying pressure is too easy, right? They already made stuff for killer to interact - breakable walls

We've all complained about it myself included for years but nothings happened in 4 years and nothings going to happen. So we either keep complaining all the time or we just have to deal with it or play something else at this point.
This game is great besides bugs, and unfairness sometimes. I'll just keep complain until they hear us
