It is like a double edged sword to me. I like having something extra to do, but it does make it more of a grind because of the time frame involved.
-
Can you buy it with shards? I have plenty of those saved up but it seems like the good skins always require auric cells....
-
I am fine if they rework keys, I just hope they don't have challenges in the next tome that require you to open the hatch. If I ended up being the last survivor I would just follow the killer and let him find the hatch for me then reopen it π
-
4/29 for tome 3? Seems like a long time to wait. Was there that big of a gap between 1 and 2?
-
I don't see moris anywhere near that often. Maybe one out of ten games.
It doesn't bother me because it makes it more of a challenge. I won't mess around and try and get in chases with the killer, I will just focus on gens and get out.
It is like the survivor equivalent to a killer going against a 4 man swf. Sure the odds are against you but you can still get a win.
-
Just don't DC!
-
Too much doom and gloom on these forums. Is the game perfect? Definitely not. But it is good enough for a casual game that you can still have fun.
As a killer you will get games where you are lucky to kill one person, but there will be other games that you get an easy 4k.
-
I hope they are out there, otherwise I am just a horrible killer π
-
No, as a killer I can say that there are many times that I should have dropped the survivor but I didn't. That is fine by me though πππ I did get infinite blinded one match so i guess it evens out.
-
The only consistent way I get one is to take a hit when the killer is carrying a survivor.
-
Shorter queues are definitely a plus.
Much more variety of playstyles on the killer side, survivors are basically all the same.
I also like playing killer because it is more of a challenge.
It is still fun for me, sometimes I get stomped, sometimes I 4k, sometimes I will just fool around with survivors if one of them dc's or gives up on first hook.
-
I would like to see scarecrow from the dark night trilogy. He could have a power that would be a mix of doc and clown. Throwing a gas that causes hallucinations that would actually be scary instead of seeing a motionless doc pop up.
Others on my wishlist would be an alien xenomorph, a predator, and a werewolf.
-
You should be happy, now you have something to do while waiting forever for a match ππ
-
Nothing was delayed, just because people assumed one date and were wrong doesn't mean it was delayed.
-
Forgot to ask, is there a double bp event coming?
-
It would be nice, but not really that big of a deal. The only time this would even be necessary is right before a new killer or survivors drops. Just spend your bloodpoints more often.
-
Is this glitch happening on ps4?
-
Still waiting for the punch line....
-
It seems really expensive to me as well, but apparently many people have no problem with it. Some people on these forums admitted that they have spent over $200 on skins.
-
I personally have liked the dc penalty. True, people do still dc, but I have seen an overall reduction. Even if they just suicide on first hook, it is an improvement.
Now they just need to implement those husks for the remaining dc'ers that they talked about so long ago.

New chapters are released the 13th every 3 months.
It's always on a Tuesday, so it is not always the 13th.
-
Many survivors will complain/whine about everything. They will even turn on their own and complain about other survivors perks. Apparently you are garbage if you run selfcare.
-
I would be all for something extra. I always buy with cash so that my sub accounts on ps4 can play the new characters.
-
Kindred is a great perk (for solos), it is already totally worth bringing. Making it basekit would be a HUGE buff to survivors, and i don't think it is needed at this time. I personally don't see that many people running insidious, but like everyone has already said, just do gens! And if you are on the hook, suck it up and struggle the entire time to punish him.
-
I though that the ps4 had a pretty good base, I rarely run into the same people. For anyone else on ps4, is it common to see the same people game after game?
-
I have seen March 10, but like fibijean said nothing had been confirmed
-
A nice spirit made my day today. She gave me the hatch since 2 people dc'd right away and the third suicided on the hook. I was running a challenge that required and an escape, so it was nice to get that on my first try.
-
When 2 people are trying to get out via hatch there is a delay for the second person, that's probably what got you there. Once the delay was finished, the killer was already there so he closed it.
When it is just one person, you should be able to leave if you got there first, a tie will always go to the killer. Guess I haven't had any close calls that have went against me yet.
-
What's the problem, if you are there first then leave. If you want to bounce up and down on the hatch, you risk the killer coming and closing it. Seems fine to me.
-
I'm probably just against it because I thought the whole premise of the movie was lame. I could see a kid being afraid of a doll that came to life, but any adult could just kick it across the room.

Tiki-Oni - put a grass skirt and some leis on him
Wolf huntress
Christmas lights on demodog
Ghostface from Scary Movie
-
Are you on pc? I play on ps4 and his controls seem stiff and clunky. Also it is hard to hit his demon strike with all of the frame drops on many of the maps.
-
I like the idea, but you know there could never be a mori, survivors would revolt :)

Kindred has one main purpose, and that is to promote healthy gameplay. If being undetectable overrides Kindred, then what was the point of bringing Kindred in the first place?
I see what you're saying, but you could also say the same for killer. Like insidious, it serves one purpose, to be undetectable so if kindred overrides that then what is the purpose of bringing it.
I actually wouldn't mind if it did counter a perk like insidious, but I don't like it when it counters a killers power.
-
I do not think it overrides kindred because I was running it against the pig and i got ambushed while going for the unhook. I guess it is possible she was out of range and then closed in just at the right moment, but I am guessing she was camping.
-
It does seem that the majority of toxic messages come from the survivors. I have never seen an "EZ, baby survivor" and yet just yesterday i got something like that from a survivor while playing killer.
The sad thing is that I am a rank 11 killer and was matched against 2 rank 1's and 2 rank 2's. I didn't even think i did that bad, i hooked everyone for my BBQ stacks, killed one, and two of them escaped with a key while I was closing in on them. Why would someone gloat about that?
I play both sides and I totally understand why there are not as many people wanting to play killer anymore. It is sad, because I love this game and I don't want to see it die anytime soon.
-
Definitely not p2w, just faster like @Galklife says. There are so many free perks that anyone can put together a good build without throwing down any money. Don't believe that you have to have ds or BBQ to win, most of the time I run ds i either don't get tunneled or I get slugged. Either way it was a wasted perk.
-
I see how that would come in handy, I wouldn't want to run demo dog against some rank 1's.
Unfortunately some people would abuse it and just dodge lobbies that are full of red ranks.
-
I had a nice "I am so stupid moment".
I have been struggling with the 2 hatch unlocks. Got the first one pretty quick, then I was standing over the hatch in another game and hit the unlock button and nothing happened... Franklin's demise got me again!!!!
Am I the only one who doesn't notice when you get hit and lose something?

I do think it's a great counter and very fun to boot. However I do understand that not all killers want to feel like they have to run these perks so I would only classify it as a soft counter.
I think for the first week this goes live I will use it, maybe even throw on stbfl.
-
What do you think about mad grit+agitation as a counter?
-
Rank would only matter in a competitive game, this is more casual with all of the rng factors.
-
Sadly it is already too late for that. Everyone has to be the first to post their hot takes!
-
I haven't had any dc issues and I even have crappy internet.

I finished the rift. Bought the premium, got to level 60, and then used the 1000 AC you get from the premium rift to pay off the last 10 levels.
Why did you spend the cells on tiers? You would have reached 70 before you even finished level 3.
-
I know it won't work like this, but it would be sweet to see bubba bust through with the chainsaw frenzy, demo dog shred through a wall, oni dash through a wall etc... Sadly it will probably be a basic animation which will be the same for all killers.

Oh no no im a victim of that haha i even go hit a gen thats a bit away and get called a camper
Survivor rule #147 - If wanting to kick a generator after hooking a survivor (which is a direct violation of rule #2) they must go to the furthest generator remaining on the map.

Sorry not really. Camping is there too. Also with rank match making as it is... You still face lower ranked killers
It never goes away completely, but it is definitely better.
Unless you are one of those that call it camping because the killer didn't immediately go to the other side of the map....
