I wanna be able to end killer game play as fast as you can ours
that can happen. get a swf, bring bnp, hyperficus, stake out, built to last, and congrats, the gens are done before the killer got a down.
enjoy your next match against a 4 slowdown nurse because you did your objective well

Boil. Over.
I cannot stand boil over users or the perk in general
Its always used in a duo with someone who has breakout and a sabo toolbox. Every time. I wish all boil over users a happy uninstall

Sounds like 4E simulator.
"Everyone is trapper without the traps and has no choice but to run round rocks all day as three other survivors do gens" is not a fun mode.
getting downs would be much faster without perks like dh screwing you out of what shouldve been a down, and with the reduced amount of pallets, survivors would need to think before using them or else risk a total loss due to lack of resources.

Honestly I escape maybe 3 times outta like 20 games. All I get is tome stone Myers with teammates that just sit there and bag him at pallets, or the ring chick who just tries to get everyone maxed out to mori them which means we are slugged all game. The game itself is not fun. I suck at killer but when I play even if I'm getting rolled I try not to tunnel or camp because it's all that's done to me. The amount of times that I've been slugged at 5 gens with no one having any points is unfreakingbelieveable. Honestly, I think once the chilled event is over the numbers will drop. It used to be my favorite game just wish they would stop making changes that don't need to be made and focus on the stuff that does.
i agree 100%. Most of the issues you have sound like issues with solo queue and matchmaking, the latter i think needs a massive overhaul, people with triple digit hours shouldnt be matched with brand new dwights

Killers camping and tunneling every game is the issue. People would use the perks as much if there wasn't so much of that stuff. It's gotten ridiculous even with the Gen increase speed. I had a dude in my lobby that brought in a MEDKIT killer tunneled him to death for it. Like really? That what this game has come to.
killers camp and tunnel because its the most reliable way to win. If survivors stopped doing everything to win, killers would do the same. both sides get punished for trying to bring unique things.
and respectfully, medkits are strong asf. running styptic and syringe guarentees a third health state, purple medkits can be used so many times and make killers stick to chases (another reason camping and tunneling is so prevolent- they spend so long in chase that they need to get pressure, so they try and force a hook trade or second state or both in exchange)
end of the day, dbd has an issue with meta, not bringing meta as killer against good survivors means a very fast loss, ggez, bags at gate. Not bringing meta against a good killer means being tunneled with no punishment, slow gen progress, and a ggez for killer.

Its a mind game, you can hit them if you time it right, also you are not always under a pallet. You said the strongest use of the perk, which even that has counter play, just becomes a 50/50 and making a wish upon a star that the servers work. I know that going against lithe and SB is way less stressful, you don't have to bait, yes i agree. I am just saying the perk is fine, they still need skill to do that play. But sprint bursting to the 3 connected loops with a shack is also a very skillfull play with lots of counterplay from the killer.
Let's be real, killer's just hate it because you feel c*** blocked. Because that is exactly what the perk does.
If you say you can't trust latency, i agree. I hate the servers and how bad some hits feel for either side
a mind game that requires no thinking. Swing, hit deadhard, they can loop again. dont swing, that can still keep looping lol. third healthstate perks are an issue period

I have more difficulty versing other killers than a Nurse, at this point nothing will please you people it's just tiring to hear the same thing over and over again even when you get what you want. Just admit you want every killer to be trapper level lol, where you can effectively 1v1 the killer.
killer main here
nurse needed a nerf
she needs more nerfs actually
-
lickers arent coming for nemesis. addons arent teasers
-
the only one of these changes that would be good is the second one. Otherwise, survivors can just loop around a hooked survivor and negate your power
-
while a give up option while slugged would be good, it would also probably be abused as a way to get around the dc penalty and let your friend get hatch faster, neither of which are fair for the killer. if they add one, and they should, it should only be available one minute after youre slugged, and only when there are two people left. That way the killer still has a fair chance of finding the last guy, and you cant just leave whenever you dont like the killer/map/being downed first/perks/etc etc
-
cope
-
if youre talking about an afk killer, thats not taking the game hostage lmao. do gens and leave.

Only if the other side took the game way too seriously.
Yes, the snowmen weren't balanced well. But who cares? It's just a silly limited time event, it's not a big deal.
ah yes, i love not being able to use my power. that definitely means im taking the game too seriously. let me play a character where my power isnt useless, like blight or nurse, that way im not "taking the game way too seriously"

Killer main's worse nightmare, having fun
fun is when killers are unplayable for weeks at a time

the only time 4 regression perks are an issue is on killers like nurse and blight, incredibly strong chase killers with little counterplay. Sure, some regression perks can be countered by getting off the gen, but some (pop, overcharge, cob) cant. the killer will roll up, kick the gen, and then chase/down you faster than you can tap the gen again. running 4 regression on ghostface, myers, trickster etc is a non issue but still gets hella complaints

"Part of me wonders if the reason why killer mains are so negative about her, putting her even as low as D tier, is just that they're used to antiloop killers with chase powers that practically win the chase for them or ignore key aspects of gameplay"
Bingo.
She can definitely use some fine-tuning buffs, but she's far from the abysmal killer people on the forums make her out to be.
the issue is that there is 0 reason to use sadako over dredge, who has better mobility, antiloop, and more. sadako releasing before dredge was a mistake. the only thing that makes sadako better is condemned which you need to use a whole build to make even remotely threatening, and even then survivors can just put the tape in in your face

Nurse killrates are likely brought down by new players/players trying her for the first time then abandoning her, because she has a high learning curve. Also she cops alot of DCs, which we know gets discounted in the data. What reasons would Sadako have for her high killrate other than maybe she's an efficient, and not so difficult to learn, killer?
the same reason nurse has a low killrate-new survivors dont know how to play against her, so they die
-
Sadako, Myers, Pyramid Head, any killer with devour hope or rancor
-
@scenekiller said:
Tell that to all the people who play her and all the survivors from her killrate
People like to pretend she's bad because they treat this game like esports and lost to a couple of SWFs with her - but the truth is, she's fun to play and very good against most casuals (which is a majority of the survivor playerbase)
she is bad though. killrates dont mean #########, nurse has the lowest but does that make her bad?

It definitely makes people quit the game, I can attest to this, it’s 0 fun to go against and I won’t burden myself with playing matches against killers who don’t have the guts to chase others
the issue with tunneling is that they die first, and its unfun, correct? what about battle royale games, that were and still are to a degree the biggest games out there? People dont complain about dying first, they dont quit the game, they just get better. Thats all it is, if you play better, youre harder to catch, more work for the killer, which makes it easier for your team to do gens and leave even if you die. Survivor is a team game but 90% of survivor players are selfish and that leads to most issues with dbd
-
@Moxie said:
Not sure why tunneling is seen as a bad thing anyways. It's the most efficient way of removing someone from the game.
Yup, sucks for that single player but so do a lot of scenarios in any multiplayer game.
In fact, they have to nerf the anti-tunneling perks because the survivor being tunneled had too much power.
Take that as you will.
survivors do everything they can to win, then complain when killers do the same

High MMR does not exist how often do you guys need to hear it? Matchmaking does not work in a way that would make it possible to appropriately match you with similiar mmr players after you've reached a certain amount... And for queue times sake after a certain amount of time you will just get a game...
Seriously if guys only want to win and not play anything different or fun even though it is weaker that's really sad... I could never do more like 5-10 matches on the same killer before getting really tired of him... It is not only about strenght but also about fun...
not once did i mention mmr. my main killer is a c tier and after one or two good games im paired against the biggest ######### tryhards. i want fair games, whether i win or not. i want to be able to put up a fight, not stomp/get stomped.

Tunneling is one of the best and strongest strategies a Killer can use?
yeah, but not every killer does it. there are two types who do-tryhards, and noobs. most casual killers dont
-
i play survivor a lot, and yeah, i get tunneled, i get camped, i see it happen to teammates, but nowhere near every game
-
@Pulsar said:
I'm not being camped or tunneled every match.
But I do witness it happening almost every match. It's easy and it works against 99% of teams.
it happens a lot, dont get me wrong, but like....EVERY game? Either theyre overexaggerating, their definition of tunneling is very broad/vague, or theyre very low mmr against killers that dont know better

The killer I ran into found everyone almost instantly I'd say, we're talking two story maps and knowing exactly where they are from across the map. It's a handicap ability, a participation trophy ability.
are you sure it was because of whispers lmao
all it does is tell the killer that someones around-not where they are, not what theyre doing, not how many survivors there are, just....theres at least one somewhere
-
it wouldnt work in dbd, its powers are mostly psychological (hallucinations namely), and itll be very hard to spread its curse in dbd. Youd have to torment one specific survivor with hallucinations, since it doesnt ever attack the person its tormenting, then possess the survivor, then make them kill themself in front of another survivor, then repeat 3 times.
gens would be done so fast
-
release freddy was at least accurate to the character. The only viable way to play the knight is by dropping his guard at a pallet, making him a worse and less fun/skillful artist
-
@VoidOfMe said:
good, you have other killers to play high mmr
not every killer needs to be a high mmr efficient killer
that's why there are killers with different levels from "easy to very hard"
and this is why everyone only plays blight/nurse/spirit. Why play a killer like Knight when theyll be rendered useless in about 10 good games?
-
you cant really "abuse" nurse just by playing her, lol

just always have it equpped if its such an issue for you. alternatively, look up

"Nurse is a strongest free killer" should not be an excuse for developers to make more and more licensed (pay only) stuff in the game.
I'm absolutely ok with perks and outfits. I'm even ok with killers being obtain only through real money, but don't you see what is happening?
More and more licensed characters are being released, I feel like in the near future we'll have more "Pay to play" stuff in this game, than a free... And it's not ok in a game, which you already have to buy.
licensed things NEED to cost money. DBD paid for the licenses which likely costa lot, they need to get their money back somehow. i agree that dbd shouldnt cost money anymore, but every game has licensed things that cost money
-
nah lmao. theyre stupid easy to counter, just press swing if you think one is happening

Tbh, I was waiting for this comment.=)
Now look. I have a friend, who knows that the nurse and blight are the strongest killers in the game, but he just don't like them nor how they look, nor their gameplay. He just can't learn how to play them, and he don't really want to, but he likes Pyramid head, and he's doing much better with him.
When he plays Pyramid head, he almost 4k in every match, but when he plays nurse, he can't even 2k. For him, a paid character is much better than OG one.
Pay to win? For me, it's a clear pay to win case.
that doesnt change the fact that nurse is the strongest killer, and pyramid head is a b tier at best
-
no
the strongest killers are almost all free to earn, if not given to you straight away in the case of Nurse. Strong perks are in the shrine all the time, and most of the strong survivor perks are from free characters
-
this is an rng thing, the map isnt always like that.
meanwhile the things that make garden of joy, eyrie of crows, haddonfield, rpd, game, thompson house, badham, etc bad arent rng, theyre always that bad

No add on blight struggles against good players and on some of his worst maps. A significant amount of blights strength comes from speed.
any killer with no add ons struggles against good players on maps bad for them. Just run the add on.

Jane's especially has no reason being an exclusive. Its not even a halloween cosmetic
-
was never like that on live servers
-
as a ghostface and mikaela enjoyer its definitely the best and if you say otherwise youre wrong
-
Bleeding Ghost Face is animated, the blood drips down like the IRL Bleeding mask. All of his masks (minus the chrome one with orange eyes/mouth) are based on real life masks you can/could purchase. Every mask he has in DBD minus the ice and aformentioned chrome are able to be purchased as official masks, which i think is sick, and makes Ghostface way more unique than if he was just one of the movie GFs

Killer... undeniably is the power role, though. They're the 1 in a 1v4. That's what power role means. The killer is the most powerful individual player in a match and has large advantages meant to balance out the survivors' strength in numbers.

Mac is one of my dream survivors. Finish the movie, its worth

Killer: Killer Clown from Outer Space
Survivors: Mike Tobacco, Debbie Stone
Sure we already have a clown in the game but he could be much more interesting than just throwing bottles around.
Killer weapon: Popcorn gun (shooting popcorn at survivors, mechanics would work something like Trickster's knives laceration rather than Huntress hatchets... but rather than just decay, survivors would need to search spot on a map where they would make a cotton candy and "cleanse" the laceration).
Special Ability: Like Dredge's nightfall, few times per game - killer can make a Balloon Dog who will bark and run across the map to search and track survivors.
Map: "The Circus" which is actually a giant UFO and is a indoor futuristic maze similar to Hawkins
I didn't really think about specific perks but there is so much that can be done and be lots of fun.
which clown specifically would you pick?

We had in-game news at the time with regards to cross progression and also the Stranger Things removals - so we did reach out to players, it was also across all our social media channels advising players and directing to our blogposts and FAQ's on this matter.
There is also a direct link in game to the forum and to the customer support website.
this is stupid. if you paid for it, you should keep it, or get a refund. end of.
