It's ok as it is. It's meant to avoid purely stalling situations. Same reason why base regression is only 25% of base repair speed.

Your objective is not to stall gens forever. Your objective is to kill survivors.

Your pressure doesn't come from kicking gens when survivors are nearby. Your pressure comes from chasing and downing the nearby survivors.

    I agree.

  • Never played him! but sure it would make demo a bit more spicier!

it can be abused by other killers. It should be reworked lol.

Doesn't matter if you are spirit, it is just not problematic on spirit, it is problematic on other killers aswell that have ears and a 1000$ head phones.

Stridor is only a problem when used on Spirit, I even said it in that comment.

Also how can you tell that I don't play Survivor? I would love to hear that.

it can be abused by other killers. It should be reworked lol.

  • @GeordieKiller said:

These changes are horrible and sounds like you want those killers to be countered like any other killers running around in loops

Freddy is in a great spot the only changes i would even agree is the block needs changing especially the Z block

Pyrmaid head is again in a strong spot only thing i would like is that his punishment attack applies torment if you hit them (that could be a addon)

DeathSlinger needs buff not a nerf hes a weaker huntress

Finally the hatch you are basically asking for a free escape even if the killer beat you to the hatch

but honestly what you have suggested is very survivor sided with no care to the killers i dont know if you meant to do that but i would strongly reccomend playing killer especially the killers you are asking to nerf harshly so you can understand both sides.

K, didn't you read above? can't you read the sign that i wrote? jesus.

  • Make head on good in solo queue please =D

  • Also, there is a glitch in the "midwich elementry school"....

  • /\

because it is just so bad, some bad pallets that are just stupid, no good pallets,

The game, is ok, has strong pallets, and it's easy to 3 gen, so they cancell each other.

lary's .... = it's ok, it's kinda complex but you can loop some time if you get some good windows.

Hawkins = A map where are some bad pallets, but some safer ones, and some good windows after all.. still not a huge fan, but better then the other maps.

  • I love killer mains... DS is in a solid spot, if you think the perk is unbalanced. just slug, simple.

  • @Duskyy said:

You guys like Hawkins? Or wish it was outside and not in a lab?

    outside please.

  • it kinda depends on the kiiller itself, and not in the idea. So idk, I think it could potetially be a good idea.

  • when you are chasing a survivor, the other 3 survivors are doing something, so the survivors have the advantage. even if they are HIGHLY pressured, they still have the advantage, even in a bad map for them.

  • @ZephanUnbound said:

One of the few well balanced killers in the game currently imo.

    k. killer main... lol

  • @BigTimeGamer said:

    Arguably the most boring killer.

    1. Find Survivor
    2. Chase survivor to loop
    3. Spam Snares and Bloodlust until Survivor is dead

    Repeat

i put nerf but honestly prob needs a rework, hes really mindless at loops

I agree, boring is not overpowered, but it's kinda stupid that

  • this would be good for casual play, not competitive where it is random

  • Doesn't matter if you end chases, if you don't have alot of pressure

  • gen tapping should be as it is, if you gen tap in the wrong time, you're dead, and in this game, you should get something for doing a good play. so this is stupid.

  • @Pior_Morte said:

This doesn't make playing killer more fun, you sound like a survivor main that got tunneled and now thinks that this game is to killer sided.

    1. Freddy is strong because he don't require any skill. For Nurse, Hillbilly, Oni you have a HUGE skill gap, for Freddy you just spam pools and teleports, also he's lunge should be reduced by 99%
    2. Deathslinger isn't powerful, just frustrating to play against. He can be strong if the player know how to play with him, but in most cases the player is just lucky.
    3. The biggest problem that Ph had, was that he could see the cages, now he is in a ok position.

I'm not a killer main, but i think this changes are unnecessary.

As i said above, "I think I've went to hard on many of my changes."

If you can't read, learn how to.

  • I'm chilled, if it is the last one, I'll get him to the hatch, if the team is just memers, probably I don't even care and I'll meme too. too fun. =D

I know it's hard to believe, but there are people who play both sides, Stridor is fine.

It's not fine on Spirit if you wanted to hear that.

Well, you clearly never played survivor.

Stridor is not fine on some killers, which, are invisible.... aka. spirit. It's uncounterable.

  • @SeantheHuman said:

I don't disagree with the majority of what you say, personally I don't care much about the changes made for Deathslinger or Pyramid heads changes simply because I don't really play them much, tho since I'm a Freddy main (kinda, less since new one) I already spent..wayy to long, trying to get the community too made recommended changing him more to his original state with newer abilities (spoiler alert, not going well.) Anyways if your curious of the changes I recommended here's a link to my post...https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/174047/freddy-rework-the-final-nightmare-please-consider#latest

I think I've went to hard on many of my changes.

  • Sprint brust and Dead Hard (When it works)

They are pretty solid, so yeah.

  • 2vs8, Looks amazing from a point of view but would need some changes FOR SURE.

  • Oni because when he downs you he is out for the night, till the night is over aka. when his power goes out.

  • @DarkMagik said:

    Do you main Survivor,Killer,or neither?

I am mostly rn a survivor main, but sometimes i switch up to killer, before i was full killer main.

  • Well, if you communicate constantly with your team, dead hard will be best as you can ask where your team8s are, and lead the killer away from them and do more distance, if that is not the case I recommend more "BOND".

  • @OBX said:

With bhvr incompetence when it comes to sound on this game, don’t change a thing

IKR, but still, if you've never went up against a Stridor Spirit, you're in luck.

  • @AhoyWolf said:

Stridor as a perk is fine as it is.

    Killer main?

  • @ Antares2332 said:

    No.

This is based on mathematical percentages and this is one of the most balanced things in the game.

Iron Will 3 = 100% of silence while you're hurt

    Stridor 3 = +50% of sounds while you're hurt

So stridor can counter Iron, making Iron lvl1 (50% of silence while you're hurt) that perk was created to counter iron will.

Even if it is like that, it is still not fun to go against a spirit with stridor, any other killer would be fine, but you can't see a ######### spirit while she is phasing

  • @Awkward_Fiend said:

I'd rather just change Spirit and make her unable to hear grunts of pain while phasing.

I think that is too hard on spirit, if you are a good spirit, hearing is how you know where a survivor is going, I get your point of making her pretty bad, but that's not the fix to the "spirit stridor stuff"

  • @EnderloganYT said:

I always either get a bad huntress who can never hit their hatchets which makes for a boring game

or I get someone straight out of a COD noscope compilation, and can't go 5 seconds with out being hit by hatchets, which just sucks

Lose line of sight, that's it. That's what a huntress relies on.

  • Pyramid head, Spirit (Specially Stridor user) and Hag.

Firstly, Pyramid head, he is ######### toxic to go as, because if you tunnel a survivor, It's rip. Also, Mori on the ######### spot? come on. It's even faster then a mori, I think his mori should be reworked.

Second, Spirit (Speciall Stridor), Simply this: If you get a spirit like this: Iron will is USELESS, also, there is no counter, you're going to get ######### either way.

Third, Hag, I think she is balanced, but teleporting as fast as you can is ######### awfull, if you have a good hag, they are going to teleport so fast that you're ######### on the spot and there is pretty much nothing you can do, because her traps can be completly unpredictable. If you want to counter a HAG you need a immersed style, and Immersion is kinda boring ngl.

  • Spine chill has false positives. and it's not like you can see where the killer is, so I think it is pretty balanced.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1460220#Comment_1460220

Yes, but what you're talking about is "it's not fair that Stridor trumps Iron Will," and your exact solution is "make Iron Will trump Stridor" in which case the exact same argument; "it's not fair that Iron Will trumps Stridor" is equally valid. The only decision between the two of them is whether a killer perk or survivor perk should trump the other, and I believe it should go to the killer who is sacrificing a lot more to take it.

Well, yeah, but my suggestion is not to make that, because, Stridor is fine, Now when you go against a spirit with it, it is cancerous, and i think something should be done about it.

  • @anarchy753 said:

It's a really difficult decision with Iron Will and Stridor. They simply cannot coexist without one beating the other, and no matter which way it goes someone will feel hard done by. In my opinion Stridor should be the perk that wins out, simply because taking 1/4 of a killer's build is a far more significant detraction than 1/4 of a survivor's build. Survivors can WAY more easily go perkless than killers can.

I think the biggest issue is that Spirit so often comes down to a competition between these two perks, and I think it's Spirit that needs more work, not the perk.

We aren't talking about opinions in specific, we are talking if it is even balanced. Which, with the right killer and right skill, makes you literally vunerable even with iron will. And that's not fair in a survivor's position, I understand your Opinion, but It's still kinda not fair.

Killers should be better then many survivors but shouldn't be "better" then 1 survivor... The survivor and killer should be balanced, grunts of pain should be cancelled using the perk Iron Will, but Stridor "reenable them", and I think Stridor should have a condition. Instead of the right now condition(which is none)

  • Worth Noticing that, this can actually fix with other errors, just a thought tho, but most likely can. =D

  • @Duskyy said:

You guys like Hawkins? Or wish it was outside and not in a lab?

    Many unsafe pallets.

The game has much safer ones, tho, killers tend to win more then survivors on "The Game"

  • @Purgatorian said:

I love playing as Myers, he is in my top 5 killers to play. I think he is almost perfectly balanced right now imo, the only downside I can think of is his movement speed and lunge in tier one but I'm hoping the new starting collapse that is coming will remedy that.

Apart from infinite tier three he has to work for his power, it seems this is what the devs want from all killers. I don't see infinite tier three as working for it since it can be classed as a semi passive throughout the game, stalking whenever possible or going for the hit if you can get it easily.

if you love him then you have a great build for him in the actual state.

  • He runs slower then every killer, if you go against a good survivor, he is going to loop your ass till tonight, and by the time you get t3, there is already 3 gens done, super weak him.

  • @OktobmerButOktobmier said:

#########, its not op. only killer mains say that.

its already been nerfed, if you dont want decisive's in your game just bring a ebony.

Enter a locker, force the killer to be in the locker for 60 seconds, easy counter.-

  • If you're not a tunneler, it is not strong. if you are a super tunneler that just wants to camp you, and kill you, DS is super strong, and you're going to get punished for tunneling if you pick up the survivor.

  • Looping requires skill.. If you loop wrong, you get stabbed. Simple as that.

  • Increasing the amount of time to complete a gen is not a solution, that will make the survivor's experience worse, the best thing of dbd is chase interaction, increasing the time is not a good idea, increasing the number of generators ... that's a interesting idea.

  • I couldn't play the game because EAC is stupid and this game is a pretty good job so far.

  • Still with the following "buffs" he is gonna get with this nerf, i still think he lost most of his potential, I like to do chainsaw billy, but I can't because of the new Overheating system and I think I'm not going to play him more.

  • All the time specially when i don't have any scratch marks to follow, and even if I do, I track the blood too.

  • @WalkedMoss92 said:

Exactly what the titles says, who is your least favorite killer and why.

    Freddy, more specifically, Forever Freddy.

  • @V1V3 said:

Since the breakable walls, I wondered what other things could be implemented in the game. Here are a list of things I thought of.

Ladders: Survivors can use them to get to higher levels quicker, but if the killer reaches the bottom/top, he can kick them down, rendering them useless. Any survivors on them falls off. The killer can also grab them off in arms reach. Ladders spawn in buildings of maps with at least 2 levels. Could work as a new offering.

Reverse Pallet Stuns: Survivors must utilize pallets properly or they risk the killer flipping the pallet back up and stunning them instead when too close. The animation is faster than breaking a pallet and it discourages cocky survivors from hanging around. The pallet becomes reusable afterwards. Only prompted if you avoid the stun.

Water: Not really a mechanic, but I yet to see a single tile of water in the game maps. Players can't cross water with an exception to certain killer powers. Unlike walls, players can still see eachother from across. Mind games therefore are ineffective. Moderate tiles of water can be used for looping though.

Proning: Survivors now have the ability to prone as if they're in the dying state, but it'll take a moment to get back up and their movement during proning is just as slow. Great for hiding under small obstacles/grass, but leaves players vulnerable for grabs.

Firecrackers: The one thing about them is they have no add-ons and tied to events only. There's also old files in the game that mentions firecrackers and add-ons existing way before events featured them. It would be nice if Firecrackers had add-ons and different rarities to it like every other item does.

Baseball Bats: I think it's crazy the closest thing survivors have to self defense is pallets and ds. They can be used to slow killers within arms reach for 2 seconds with rarities/add-ons adding slow down durations, charges, swing speeds, and range. It can have up to 5 charges with add-ons. The Ultra Rare add-on can grant players 3 seconds of the haste status effect on successful hits at the cost of reduced charges. The item can be used effectively in jukes, or delay killers carrying survivors to hooks.

Anyway these were some ideas I had and I already know some of these ideas have flaws with them, but any new mechanic to the game can offer more for future perks or implement a risk factor to the game that makes playing the game more satisfying.

    Nothing is usefull/good.
