That's like seeing a kid with severe body injuries who got beaten near-death and saying "well it's your fault for not avoiding them". Stop trying to justify horrible human behavior.
What is it with you and comparing someone doing something in a game to get your attention to physical, real life harm? It makes your points pretty redundant imo.

Well they reduced the amount of noise her footsteps made quite a while ago and now they are only just audible over the sound of working on a gen (you can really only hear them when she's a couple of metres away).
-
Please don't say that the devs cater to one side rather than the other, they don't.

And a slight change to her base, slight implying that mabye or would be a visual change or a slight range or cooldown change.
Which she got, she has to wait 3 seconds before she can chain-blink again, she can still blink half a second after fatigue ends.

Remember when nurse was just addon changes?
The devs did not once state that it was "just an add-on change" they made it clear from the get go that they were also going to slightly tweak her base kit.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Withering Blight event is postponed until the release of the mid-chapter 3.3.0. We're working on getting the update ready as soon as possible and will keep you posted."
I know that the devs are obviously busy working on fixing whatever issue is causing the delay but surely it can't be that hard to just make a post saying "Sorry, we are still unsure when the update will be ready to release."

None of the challenges from what I seen required luck
Literally there is a challenge to open chests
Challenges like "unhook 2 survivors during the endgame collapse in a single match" or "trap each survivor in the match once during a single match" require the survivors / your teammates to be pretty incompetent in order to achieve them.
-
Don't blame you, one time I was using the locker build, managed to get DS off so I was obsession (wasn't even in a locker, he just decided to tunnel me for no apparent reason), then just killed myself so my team had an easier time getting the last gens done. Although I usually frown upon suiciding on hook and DCing:
1) Suiciding is nowhere near as bad as DCing, it gives the killer the points for sacrifice and you keep your points.
2) If the killer is using a build like this and if you're the obsession, killing yourself is a tactical manoeuvre, on par with removing a hex totem (but it should only be done if there are only 1-2 gens left).
-
I can't wait for the rifts that are about Nea, Jeff, the Huntress, and the Spirit
-
Both Spirit, my main build gets me killed all the time against her but using an anti-spirit build and seeing them so confused as to where you went is too funny.

Katya would be the killer, tbh.
With this wig? Definitely.

Mashed potatoes are HORRID, get them off my plate right now!!!!1!!! >:(

Devs, give us Trixie and Katya as survivors pls

Just make him not as annoying to play against, that's all I ask. Make tier 3 madness stronger in some way, remove / reduce the interaction interrupt, make some afflictions base kit at certain tiers but allow survivors to completely snap out of it (not just tier 3 back to 2), bringing survivors back to normal in exchange for time (you would have to snap out of it once for every tier of madness). Also I'd like to see it if madness would only go up passively once they had been inflicted with madness manually (nerf to "the game" Doc) however, passive madness would go up at a quicker rate.
-
I completely understand the removal of insta-blinds but now half of the add-ons are useless. Widening / tightening and increasing the distance of the flashlight beam has never really done anything and now brightness add-ons have no in-game effect anymore, all they do is make the middle of the screen white rather than pink. Almost all of the flashlight add-ons need looking at in the future.

We don't know if those perks have been touched or not, it's completely possible that they adjusted numbers or the time that they are active. The only reason that reworked perks would have to be tested in the PTB is probably if they've been changed completely. If they haven't been changed, I completely agree that they should be but nobody knows if they've already been changed or not.
-
I'm personally really excited for the Laurie one, I only have her at level 30 currently (I unlocked DS and OoO through the shrine over a year ago) and it makes me want to max her out.

13 is known as a bad bad number, and since you're in the fog, that's already bad luck. This cat is just a symbol for your doom... I guess?
or Percy. Because if you use Spine Chill, you're a Percy Cat.
Percy's certainly a cute name

I think one way to kill the grind a bit on the Rift would be to award one free tier in the Rift each day after you complete a daily ritual.
You performed a task, you get bloodpoints and a level in the Rift. Boom.
That cuts down the grind more by just doing what you would normally have done each day while still earning the levels by continuing to play.
That's also a good idea as the daily rituals are essentially a simpler version of rift challenges however they are limited. I'd maybe make them give 3-5 shards rather than a full tier though seeing as it could possibly make the archives redundant in getting through the rift. Honestly, anything that lessens the grind would be amazing.

Why should casual players be able to finish it?
The devs claimed to have balanced the rift around the average playtime of casual players, if they pay for the rift pass, they should be able to complete it as well. The devs shouldn't force people who play for around an hour a day to play for around 120 hours in 70 days due to fear that they'll miss out on something.

It might even be 1 hour. We dont know yet, because nobody tested the Rift. Some guy made a Youtube-Video, cool. Now we believe everything what is in the internet?
I am pretty sure, if only a really small group of people will complete the Rift, it might be changed. But other than that, the Rift is not designed to spend 1000 Auric Cells 1 time and have those 1000 Auric Cells for every other Rift that will be released. DBD is quite a cheap game, and you can play it without spending any more money, if you dont want to play certain Killers, since you can get every Perk in the Shrine and Survivors are only Skins. Sure they need some form of money income. And yes, there will be people who spend some money for the next Rift, maybe not 1000 Cells, but 500 Cells. Or they spend the Cells to unlock some Tiers.
Which is fine in my opinion, because once again - you dont have to spend any money if you dont like. But if you have some income and can spend some money, I would rather buy it than sweat for it in a game.
And yeah, it might be 100 hrs instead of 70 hrs. But it is not ON TOP of the challenges. You are doing both at the same time.
So why don't they make it achievable, remove the rebate but charge you every season? The current rift, if it goes live, is very predatory in design due to the rebate aspect. I'm pretty sure more people would be willing to buy it if it was easier but you had to pay for each rift pass individually.
Also, the time aspect is bugging so many people due to the fact that the developers of the game themselves claimed that each rift is going to take around 70 hours to complete, but in the PTB it takes nearly double that. It may change in the live version but the calculations have been done and if it stays the way it is, many possible customers are going to be disheartened by the total amount of time it will take to complete the rift without having to buy tiers.

What needs to be balanced
Nerfs:
Keys: Free escape, killer can't do anything about it.
Moris: Mostly just ebony, using a Mori is detrimental anyway if you're trying to rank so it's only used by killers in specific circumstances, mostly to be toxic.
Adrenaline: Should not work like a better Deliverance, other than that it's fine.
Iridescent Head: Lock the number of hatchets to 1, make pairing it with belts useless. High risk, high reward.
Prayer Beads: Make them ultra rare and give them a slight downside, something like increased activation speed or longer cooldown.
Endurance: It should tick down in Killer TR, not in chase. The change to how Endurance/Deep Wound timers work made the perk(and soon the purple medkit addon) way too strong and Legion way too weak.
Buffs:
Every low tier killer
About 60% of the perk list for both killer and survivor
I can't really say I agree with the endurance change, deep wounds going down in TR and not in chase was what made old Legion so boring to go against, stab twice then moonwalk and they'd just go down.

Oh yeah, sorry. Just have checked it, you simply only complained like 6 times about the same topic without bringing any arguments by yourself. Sorry that I thought that you have actually contributed something in your other topics.
To be fair, the devs did state that they supposedly balanced the time needed to complete the rift on the average playtime of most players (1 hour per day) which I would personally say is how much a casual player would spend playing. The thing that is concerning people is the fact that this couldn't be further from the truth, the rift currently requires you to complete all challenges AND spend about 100-120 hours in-game (this could be working towards the challenges but even so it's still pretty excessive).
-
I'm pretty sure that the devs will take the feedback to heart and change the rift's progression rate in some way. That is the point of the PTB surveys after all.

Except Quentin and Laurie
Also I forgot to mention the Legion is considered younger than Frank who is 19 and Julie is a senior meaning she is not over 18
The devs have confirmed that all SURVIVORS are over 21, just because Laurie and Quentin were below 18 in the movies, doesn't mean that they didn't age after the events of that movie. The entity just took them later on in life.
-
What really isn't fun is getting put to rank 10 survivor and then having to play against a killer that has somehow managed to get to rank 3 in less than a day.
-
Play killer 4head
In all seriousness though, the only things you can really do are:
Drop it early
Only play in low ping lobbies

Just done with people and there goodbye threads
"Looks like you need to with your grammer boy"
*proceeds to spell "grammar" wrong and uses the incorrect form of "their"*
Don't be a twat and just assume that someone saying that they have to quit is them choosing to do so, if you'd just read the post, you would have seen that that was the case.
-
I'd be fine if I could choose what to get, there are so many things in the paid track that I want but there are also so many things I don't care about having. I really want Claudette's, Meg's, Jake's, and Nea's outfits (one of Nea's cosmetics is at tier 58 and only uncommon rarity btw) but I couldn't care less about the Trapper's or Wraith's.
I'd also love the Brand New Part and vial charms but they're both at the very end. So, if I want to get all the things I like, I'm forced to get to tier 70 and get cosmetics I don't care about and will likely never use.
-
Same could be said with killer players assuming that players are SWF or complaining about "genrush" when they decided to chase one survivor for three gens worth of time.
-
Nea mainly because of her edgy appearance and generic backstory about being a misfit teenager.
I originally played Huntress when I first started playing killer because her power was cool and is easily used to dominate at low ranks.
After Spirit's release, I immediately switched to her because I liked her appearance and backstory (and because at the time, she hadn't received her main buffs so current prayer beads didn't exist).
-
But I can't run, if I do it will set off her traps.

I don't really mind the chins, it's the boils that I hate. I still bought the outfit because I have a very completionist mindset, it would kill me on the inside to have all but 1 cosmetic piece. But yeah, I doubt I'll ever use the body, I love the serum leaking from all her cuts but the clusters of boils make me feel ill, especially the one on her abdomen that is stretching the skin. 🤢🤢🤮

Note: If you use the coin trick too often your brain will figure out that you're tricking it into responding and you'll stop getting the feeling. Just use it for important/permanent decisions.
It's kinda like how if you pretend to throw something for a dog it doesn't fall for it after a few rounds (Also, don't do that. it's mean to the dog.)
I'll keep that in mind, that's actually a really clever trick, tysm!!

They don't want to make the charms too big, then they'll hurt your stealth game.
Me when I die to a killer because they didn't see my bright blue hoodie, they saw my Brand New Part charm because it was bigger than one of the Demogorgon's teeth:

@indieeden7 Really? It affects College? I'm from Germany, so the thing basically after high school would be university and they don't really mind things like that. I'm sporting snake bites and a normal labret + a septum 😊
Yep, it's dumb imo, they don't allow any facial piercings other than nostril ones (I only got my septum done because I wanted a nostril piercing but I couldn't hide it. This year they changed the rules about them, just my luck). But if I get my eyebrow done at the start of the holidays it will have healed enough for me to put a glass bar in by the time I need to go back. Also, loving your piercing choices, I've considered getting snake bites as well so that might happen instead of my vertical labret, not entirely sure about what I'll get next just yet.
-
@Gay Myers (Luzi) said:
I was gonna suggest a labret, like the one in the middle, but eyebrow is nice too :D I hope you will love it!
@indieeden7 not quoting it, cause of the white background pepehands, so I'm tagging you
Funny you say that, a couple of my friends have said that I would suit a vertical labret. I will probably get it done in the near future but I don't think my college would be too happy if I had it.
-
Will the archive tomes and rift levels be harder to complete as you progress? I personally hope not as although you do get interesting and exciting rewards, I feel as though it would just feel like another devotion feature.
-
Thanks to everyone who commented! I've come to the conclusion that if I can only afford one piercing, I'll get my eyebrow done. I'll do it not on my birthday but on the day that my college breaks up for the Christmas holidays. I'll try to remember to post a photo of it when it's done!
-
AND Nancy, I love both of them. Now I need to level up Laurie as well though

I bought Spirit earlier so I really want Plague and Jake now

also is this outfit licensed to other company than mask since its og skin , so is it possible we can get in future sidney prescott ?
I doubt we'll get Sidney. Also I'm not sure whether or not they got in touch with the rights holders for Scream, after all the outfit is just a black cloak. It might not have required them to get the rights to put it in-game.
