First of all, show the cursed status effect on the HUD if:
-a survivor misses a skillcheck and sufferes from the increased penality from Hex: Lullaby
-a survivor completes a skillcheck when this perk has at least 1 token
Then make it so, if the totem isn't broken until it builds 5 stacks, it becomes a normal perk and the hex totem that once was bound to this perk becomes a dull one.
This change isn't op in any case. Let's take the worst case scenario: a doc with a full skillcheck build has 5 stacks Lullaby, you can simply tap the gen to prevent skillchecks from appearing. Boom, still a good perk that has counterplays. Thoughts?
Honestly it should not be a hex perk in the first place.

I can say anything too. How about an opinion from someone with proof. I saw you claim to be a Nurse main in another thread, yet everything you post is anti-killer. The self-loathing must be intense, or you know, you're full of #########.
First of all: I'm not a nurse main in bc I'm really good with her, I'm still learning so I play her the most. Tbh after I get better with nurse ill probably main pig. I post mainly anti killer bc i like a challenge, and i just don't have one with killer. All I hope is that they bring old ruin back. It did better matchmaking than the ranks. I'm sick of going against potatoes, and winning without trying in 9 out of ten games, that I'm willing to see killers nerfed to the ground, or old ruin back. Anyone who can't hit ruin doesn't deserve red ranks. But back on topic, I don't just post things about the survivor side needing buffs. I've asked for nerfs on both sides. Tbh both sides need nerfs, as they both have too much broken ######### they abuse.

I'm literally a killer main and I'm rank one on both sides. Don't call me entitled when you think survivor is easy. You're a midrank survivor, so you probably go against bad killers. That doesn't mean that survivor is easy, that means you aren't facing competent people.

personal idea (might have heard it somewhere but dont remember) lower the time to 10/20/30 seconds but it doesnt go down while in chase but secondarily it deactivates DS from people if someone else is hooked
legitimately someone tell me if this is good bad decent or trash idea
Two things: it also shouldn't go down when slugged, and it should stun for 6 seconds, bc the drop animation takes one second now, so its only a four second stun. With 6, it'll be 5 like it's supposed to be.

More like 10 crutches, there are literally more second chance perks than you can actually equp, I'm surprised you're not asking for more slots, but only for suvivors.
Actual good survivors don't even need perks because the game heavily favors them already. Just got out of a game vs a legacy skinned SWF, the 3,000+ hour claudette talking ######### about how boring the match was.
Yea, you have more than 6x the playtime I do but are some how at the same rank. She had no perks, got more points than me despite 2 kills and nearly maxing most categories. The balance is #########. But it's not like this thread doesn't get posted 300 times a day or anything. Keep defending your OP EZ Mode, GG Survivor Mains.
Can you stop being entitled for a sec? Survivor in solo q is just as hard as killer. And the op is right: meta perks wouldnt be meta if the other side didnt consistently do something. Ds wouldn't be meta if people wouldnt tunnel, bt would be worthless if people didn't camp. Don't call a side you don't play ez mode when its clear you don't know #########.

Its not reportable, and it isn't the killers fault that you got stuck in a place that everyone knows about. If I see a person who was nice in chase(no tbaggs or pallet blinds) I'll let them go. Personally I think the timer on DS at 60 seconds is ok but I'd recommend making it immediately end if the survivor does any gen or heal actions that require a skill check. (So tapping a gen for instance is ok, but sitting around long enough to get a skill check cancels the DS.)
Thats a good idea as well.

I’m a killer main so I don’t deal with sore losing killers in chat but yes, killers who complain about “gen rushing” and such are in the same camp basically.
Personally I don’t have an issue with Borrowed Time, it’s fine.
Decisive Strike is ok but it’s a bit silly that it doesn’t end once the survivor is actively working on gens. You can literally not be anywhere near the person when they are unhooked, they start doing a gen, meanwhile you chase and down and hook a totally different survivor over the next 45 seconds, see the first survivor working on a gen, down and pick him up and BAM DS! That one aspect of it seems to go against the idea that it’s protecting the survivor from being immediately rechased and rehooked after a rescue. Beyond that minor thing though I think DS is fine.
I'm a killer main as well, but I use ds in every game as survivor, for two reasons. One, I can make plays in endgame that get everyone out, and two, I can not get tunneled out of the game. However, ds needs the following changes: the timer is 30 seconds long, but pauses in a chase, or while slugged, now the timer ticks down two times faster while on a gen. Bt needs these changes. Make it always, bc stealthy killers hard counter this perk, and make the survivor lose collision for 15 seconds to avoid bodyblocking. The killer can't hit you, and you phase right through them. If these are added, I think that both will be perfectly fine.

Cut everyone but pig, nurse, and billy.

@dugman said:
On the one hand I totally agree that you should ignore any survivor that complains about camping and tunneling. It's all just sore losing honestly, pointing the blame for their loss at anything but themselves.
On the other hand camping a hook mid-game is usually bad strategy. If you're standing around twiddling your thumbs at a hook and all the other survivors are doing gens then the doors will be open by the time you get even two or three hooks. When the survivors don't come to you then you need to go to them.
"Tunneling" as defined by only chasing one survivor at a time until that survivor is down and then hooking them also can be a bad strategy if the survivor takes you too long to down. You need to be willing to break off chasing someone if you think it will take you a long time to hit them and instead go looking for people actively doing the gens or who are out of position to get a better opportunity. Chasing a lone survivor off in the middle of nowhere for a minute or two is a surefire way to lose.
Finally I'm always polite in aftergame chat (except when the survivors are rude and insulting in chat, then screw 'em.) No reason to not have manners in chat after a game.
You should also ignore killers who complain about ds and bt then.

It really should be get 4kills with their 3 perks, thats what it use to be. not like they couldnt allow you to use a 4th perk of your choice. it is poorly done as at rank 1 you need good gen defense, alot of chases and 9 hooks. saying you need to de-rank etc. to do it just proves the issue, survivor on the other hand is much easier as all you need to do is escape and they aim for 2 people to escape on average...
Four kills without a mori would be fine.

@Erk said:
Clown is the worst killer in the game. He lacks mobility and lethality, if you want to use your power you need to be at %40 speed for 5 seconds and he doesn't reward players for playing good. I can just stop here but I will explain in details so everyone can understand me.
Clown is a basic killer, 32m TR and %115 speed. His power, the Afterpiece Tonic, hinders survivor by %10 (with the Flask of Bleach %15), makes survivors cough and doesn't allow survivors to fast vault IF they touch the gas cloud. This power is just stupid. It doesn't reward you for direct hits on survivors so there is no reason to make a good play with Clown since it doesn't change anything. If you do a good play with Legion you injure and apply DW on 4 survivors, if you do a good play with Trapper you get a survivor on the hook but if you do a good play with Clown, you injure them. If you don't do a good play you still injure them. There is no point in playing better.
DudeDelicious always says that you need to use the gas clouds as "traps" so that "the survivors' movement is controlled by you". So, what if they get to a pallet ? Then what ? You either need to break the pallet or mindgame the pallet (if it's unsafe). This is not special to Clown, every killer can do this. Well, you might say "But Erk, every killer gets countered by pallets !" You would be wrong. Spirit can "mindgame" the pallet, Nurse can blink through it, a good Trapper will deny the pallet entirely, a Pig will use her ambush to mindgame the pallet (keep in mind this is part of the power) and the list goes on... Clown can't do anything.
Clown has no lethality, you can only injure and down survivors and you have no tools to catch survivors quicker. The Tonic is so underwhelming that if it works, it works because of the addons. If you play Clown with no addons you will see how much of a pain it is against decent survivors that are solo. His power sucks and only works with addons, and not everywhere !
Clown has no mobility, in fact he has less than no mobility ! He can slow down survivors, sure, if a pallet isn't nearby and if a survivor is not near a pallet every killer can down that survivor but the worst part about his mobility is his reload. 5 secs of being slower than a walking survivor. 5 seconds may not seem much but play Clown and reload once. You will see what I mean. So, how do we fix this mess of a killer ?
My suggestions are :
- Slow down a survivor more in a direct hit with the Afterpiece Tonic
- Make bottles be reloadable one by one (so 4 seconds if you have no bottles)
- Add a new effect : Drunk (or whatever you want to name it). If Clown hits you while you were hindered, you gain this effect. During this effect, if you are repairing a generator and you get it to %40 (or any number you want), Clown sees the gen you are working on. The effect goes when you get healed or heal somebody else.
This is it. What do you people think ?
I like it but I also think that blurred vision should be removed. I have to dc on clown games bc the vision gives me a headache the rest of the day.

I literally don't know wh this happened. I was playing Myers, got Tier 2 and 99% my Tier 3 really early. After about half of the match, I literally felt like I was slightly stuck in the ground, therefore, my movement was bugged.
Sometimes, everthing was normal, sometimes the survivors were the same speed as me, once or twice even faster than me.
I'm pretty sure it is FPS related, PS4 ofc, although it always felt like I had the solid 25 FPS gaming exerpience the whole match.
At the end of the match, I figured out that mashing your stick left and right fixes this movement bug. So spamming my stick forward and left and right is faster than just holding the stick straight forward. And still got my deserved 4k.
Thanks for the inconvenience!
Also may be related to crossplay lag. Pls improve, thanks for reading.
(Also, I don't consider posting this in the bug reporting section, since that is a ######### dead desert. Also, I know it won't get fixed like the 20 other bugs we had in the game for months and some even years now.)

Exactly, you can't master any killer, that's what the killer community should understand, and only cause you can't play that killer doesn't mean it is trash, that's why tier lists are not relevant for me. People say myers is low tier, I go against god tier myers that are really.
People say legion is trash tier, I go against legion with perfect builds that can apply pressure to all us.
Exactly this.

Hey quick question go ask anybody who plays this fame why they run ds and tell me what they're response is. The devs also think clown is a good killer but that people don't know how to play properly so again take what the devs say with a grain of salt, they dont all seem to communicate things with each other very well.
Every killer is good in their own way. Clown included. Even though hes not as good as others, a good clown can consistently win. I run d's to make plays in endgame. Get hooked, get saved, someone else gets hooked, 1 for 1, ds the killer, and get out.

I just critiqued your post for using absolutist viewpoints and biased data, but to end this. Nothing should be 100% counterable if something is then it might as well not exist.
I understand there is quite a difference but look at how fighting games are balanced you have upper, mid, and bottom attacks many can be blocked but if you use the wrong block it'll go through and throws or other attacks have their own discrepancies. Certain attacks have range or arcs and require the right distance. So just as in DBD everything is a mindgame you have to predict what the other player is going to do, make them go where you want, take advantage of their plays, counter, punish, reset. This describes DBD's core gameplay very well everything is about the Mindgame mistakes will be made but its up to each player to best the other. This is pure, healthy, and dynamic gameplay that isn't beholden to any side and feeds little entitlement
Loops counter him as well.
Haha, flick goes woooooosh, thud, thud,
He has to absorb blood like Myers stalks.
That is an absurd comparison. Myers has to actually stalk a moving survivor who when they notice him will try to get out of his line of sight and delay him as much as possible. Each survivor has a set hard limit of stalk juice and when it goes, its gone for the entire game. Blood Orbs if allowed will generate endlessly, are static bright red floating objects that only move when the oni gets near, and etc. Both myers and oni hold M2 to generate power but what they get it from is V A S T L Y different
Including a MAPWIDE notification that he has his power.
Practically half the cast has a mapwide notification for when their power activates or deactivates. It's not a unique downside and it only tells you to prepare
You've mostly just talked about the basic chasing system and skirted away from most points about the Oni's power and the way that interacts with the game's general systems
I have a question. Whats flick? Ive never heard that term used for one before.

There is so much wrong with this argument
So you are acknowledging that the Oni's kit is incredibly strong and acknowledging that because of this what you said about 360s "hard" countering him can be null and void. But then you go to say "Well how many good Onis are there?"
You acknowledge there could be a problem and that there likely is, but because you think there aren't that many good Onis its not a problem. That's like looking at a radiator block and noticing there's a few tiny holes but just laughing it off as "Well there aren't too many"
Ive spun a rank 1 oni main in his power before.
So the entire population of rank 1 killers and especially Onis are now beholden and inseparable from that rank 1 Oni player. You understand of course that the use of O N E player and attributing that to the entire population is a bit of astretch and extremely "anecdotal" at best?
So youre telling me that a killer should be 100% counterable? I dont think his power should be all that counterable. Hes fun, and thats what matters. He has drawbacks, and he lets survivors know what hes doing. Including a MAPWIDE notification that he has his power. Loops counter him as well. Hes like t3 Myers. Strong but with drawbacks. He has to absorb blood like Myers stalks. After that happens, you can still loop them. They just one hit you. Oni is fun and balanced.

Survivors are too OP. This is how you fix it:
- Timeout on very action they have (just like any killer)
Eg: It takes 2 seconds to ... well anything, 2 secs to turn on/off the flashlight, 2 seconds to start/finish gens, healing crouching. ( this fixes the clicky-clicky survs, or teabagging, or getting away waaaay to easy from gen grabs)
Some other points:
- When running the survivors have inertia... think Oni (goodbye 360 jukes)
- Cannot fast vault unless running for 3 sec prior to vault (to avoid fast repeated pallet vaults)
- Once one gate has been opened. The other locks permanently .
- reduce surv running speed when they are looking behind.
You really need to make your bait more believable.
-
This is a casual game. If you think rank matters you are dead wrong. You shouldn't ever care about it. It sucks the fun out of this game.
-
You have a job to patrol gens. The nerf made it so you would do your job. Its still a great perk and I'll still run it.
-
In its current state no. But if they remove the cooldown and triple the range, it could be a meta perk thats always run. I hope they do this as its already a hex meaning high risk high reward.

PS4, easy 360s, complete denial of his power
If you are going against an Oni that can't hit survivors, congratulations you aren't "denying" his power you matched up against a rank 20. The only thing Oni needs to activate his power is to hit survivors. You know the fundamental most BASIC necessary element of the game?
Even if all survivors refuse to heal in order to "deny" his power (Even though 4 healthy states equal 2 rushes) its only delaying it very briefly. If survivors don't heal it renders any items or perks they brought along useless so everyone's going to stay a one hit so that's already a large boon and when Oni does get his power locating survivors and starting that snowball will be even easier. Because the Oni is a chase killer if he can enter every chase with a survivor that has one hit state with or without an active power that's an absolute win for him
We aren't even getting into the minor benefits of blood orbs such as their "soft" tracking and other tricks you can do. The Oni is absolutely easy mode with all the benefits built into him. The Oni has absolutely nothing to risk, nothing to plan ahead for, nothing to gamble just get in a chase and repeat
How you argue 360s are uncounterable actions that can't be predicted, punished, and beaten as anything else. Or how they provide special immunity to the Oni's attacks I just don't know
I'm talking about demon dash into demon strike, not his basic attack. If he's really good, he'll hit you, but there aren't many good onis are there? Ive spun a rank 1 oni main in his power before. If you spin someone's basic attack, then yes, they're an idiot. But 360s are a lot more consistent against a powered up oni than any other killer.

The Oni's "slow and weak" early game is nothing. Killers such as Michael, the Pig, Legion, Ghostface, Trapper, Wraith (arguably), Clown, all have very slow and difficult early games because of the way their power works. The Oni only has to hit two survivors and he's got his power. That is quite literally nothing, the Oni basically has to spend a minute as a 115 tall character before he can start zooming around the map one hitting survivors. He suffers no movement penalty, no power drain when he injuries a healthy survivor, no need to plan ahead, anticipate and herd survivors towards his traps
The Oni is perhaps the easiest and most casual killer to play in the entire game and this is from someone who enjoys him.
Oni is perfectly balanced. You can deny his power easily. And in his power, any competent survivor can 360 an oni. Hell, I'm on ps4, and I do that easily. Oni is fine.
