When do you slug?

I mostly play with Infectious Fright and I'm looking for insights on when to slug. After getting a proc of the perk, I ask myself if I can down the other survivor very easily (which most of the time means I'm not chasing if he/she is on the limit of my TR).

What about you? Any suggestions?

    There are two times I slug: when I know where someone else is, and when I've been royally pissed off and I slug them to death.

    when there's the chance to gain advantage from it. Mostly if I have an instadown killer or the survivors are injured and I can down them kinda fast (like with spirit)
