If you walk/sneak around the corner of the hill. Not sure if it can happen while running. Many times as survivor your forget because you're trying to avoid the killer.
It can. I can't use balanced anymore:(

Umm but you have perks for it? And I don't understand what facecamp has to do with these perks?
I do. They mean facecamping with noed. You need to genrush to get out. But that almost never happens so...

Was playing killer tonight and was doing fairly well as Leatherface and got a good 4K on a swf team that brought a key.
Post game chat they accused BBQ of being OP and carrying me the whole game. Honestly i just put on for points i forget that it shows aura for like 2 seconds.
Do survivors feel that way actually? Im just curious, because i think Infectious is worse honestly.
I'm just gonna start saying this: its both sides. But no, bbq is not op. We have a much better perk that would be op without a cool down called thrilling tremors. Bbq rewards your objective and gives bonus bp. It's the perfect example of a balanced perk.
-
I don't understand the majority of people who play this game. You can run what you want, and play how you want. You cant force someone to play your way. Camp and tunnel if you want. Run ds unbreakable if you want. Its your choice. You are free to play how you want.
-
I just hope they change it so the item reappears in your inventory, or something like that. I'm sick of losing bloodpoints to this perk.

I'm a claudette main, and I wear the orange apron and purple pants with the earrings head. Would you do that to me? Not every claudette main is wearing p3 and selfcaring in the corner of the map. I understand BLENDETTE mains, but not all claudettes are like that.

Did he really? He is honestly the most entitled person ive ever seen. Denying someone bloodpoints, and getting a free win is ok, but ds, unbreakable, or any exhaustion perk isn't? This is why I dont watch him anymore.

Any perk, item, add on, killer, survivor, or offering, excluding free wins(keys and moris) are ok to use. They are in the game, and you have the right to use them.

Oh, man. We need more good Pig players to appear so that they can completely shake up the meta.
Exactly this. I really hope more people play her. I love going against her, and as her. I just prestiged her tho so I cant play her RN. Btw do you have any good builds for her? Ive just been using pop, bbq, stbfl, and devour.

Oh, I am well aware and I spread that message everywhere.
Her stall is unparalleled and is the biggest draw to her as a character for me. One advantage of this stall as well that I see is that I never get hit by DS because of how I swap targets and slow the game so much.
Exactly. Playing her optimally means no tunneling, so no d's. So no d's, plus the slowdown, plus ambush at loops...Whats not to like lmao

It actually pains me to see that this is the experience that you guys have against my beloved Piggy. Ironically that's also the worst way to play her.
Unfortunately I don't have any recorded gameplay of how I play Pig, but if I did then I would link that for you.
I play her to slow down the game and ambush at loops. Never lost a game with her. You want to ignore trapped people. They aren't doing gens.

They might have DCed because you were playing Spirit. And I cannot really blame them, boring game to see Spirit standing half of the time without any way to know what she is doing. But yeah "Mindgames".
Anyway, I totally agree, if one player DCs from a Match, nobody should depip. Killers should not depip from that and Survivors should not depip because its a 3v1.
I think this would make dealing with DCs more bearable.
I dont like her either but I wanted my daily.

DS gets used more than moris if you ask me. The only time I bring a mori is if I have a daily. If Im using Devour Hope and I get 5 stacks I feel I earned that because they knew I was running it by the 3rd stack.
This is true. But I'm saying that ds in a locker is the only counter to moris.

My only issue with DS is lockers and when people deliberately go towards the killer BECAUSE they have ds. Often I hook survivor A, I leave. Find survivor B, someone saves A, I hook survivor B and before I can even walk away Survivor A makes a save right in front of me. I assume B has BT+DS so I go after A. Survivor A has DS or unbreakable. In that situation I am forced to eat a DS. There is no right answer on who to chase. Both will waste my time and I don't have as much as the survivors.
Thats the only counter to moris though. In event of a mori, thats completely fair. Any other time tho, that is a problem.

It's funny how the community manages to do stupid things equally on both sides.
On killer side: No obsession = free tunnel
On survivor: one offering not turning = Mori so better DC, even more so without penalties right now
FYI: I am a middle rank killer who makes it his policy not to tunnel or camp, since on side has to start but I still find it funny when I use a yellow Mori or a shroud and they instantly DC. I don't use green or pink mori since from my experience I get lucky with a swf that will simply trash me and I waste it. Plus they cost too much bp in the bloodweb to efficiently level.
Same. I have 30 moris on nurse alone lol

Its not the roar. Its the chase and terror radius music

This is something that has always been in the game for consoles, if you just started noticing don't blame crossplay
And also, how do you know that it works only on pc players? The small cross play icon indicates also other consoles
Its only happened with people who are crossplaying, so I assume it's pc. I don't ever think a crossplay is on x box or switch, as both are pretty small communities. It's only happened to me since crossplay came out. I'm a killer main, and it's never happened to me before crossplay.

They already took away the looping by making the map have 500 pallets. I ve had games that a noob survivor threw like 10 good pallets in almost 2 minutes at 5 gens. I dont call that looping. And guess what? When you hook that survivor,3 gens were finished and there are 490 pallets left in the map, enjoy!
There are only around 14 in most maps.
-
Best build for this challenge is prove thyself, bond bt(better together) and autodidact. PT for extra BP. Bond to see teammates, bt so they know where you are, and autodidact to slowdown double heals to get more precious seconds.
-
@SquirrelKnight said:
As far as Im aware, the only reason people took issue with the pig was becauze of her traps. Traps that when gens were done started ticking down till death. It is literally to discourage gen rushing.
Problem is, since gen rushing is the favorite tactic (by gen rushing i mean ignoring totems and even igmoring unhooks unless overly blatantly safe) survivors have a tendency to get angry when they cant do a generator and instead have to remove traps.
This led to her biggest (and in my opinion uncalled for) nerf. The traps not activating when people leave through the exit gates with them. I understand it being bypassed for tje hatch, i disagree with it but i understand it. Making her traps not go off by the exit gates was a TREMENDOUS nerf and it makes the pig much less fun for me to play. The traps are supposed to be timewasters yes, but also they are supposed to feel urgent, threatening, something to that affect.
If noone has a ticking trap on them while there is only one gen undone the traps may as well do.nothing because after opening that exit gate theres no consequences for being lazy in removing traps.
Traps still activate in the gate, if they are active.

I don’t hate Pig herself, but I can’t stand the way people play with her. She’s probably my #1 hated Killer to face because of that.
What way people play with her?
-
@Justalittlepeeck said:
I hate pig because how she was left broken after 2.7.0 and still hasn't received ANYTHING to aid her, so she remains literally the WORST killer in the game. I used to main her, but at after 2.7.0 patch and "basic attack" patch I just don't want to play her, she feels horrible, especially compared to what she was.
Of course some petty killer mains are going to say how they can "4k with her every game bruh what are you talking about she is strong", but let's be honest, if you can 4k on pig, you can 4k on any other killer (at least on those that are 115%) so that argument makes no sense here.
Her main problems are inconsistency, dependance on survivors and low versatility. Her traps also enable toxic gameplay strategies, which only adds to Pig being horrible.
- RBT are under survivors' control as they activate only when gen is done.
- RBT are extremely RNG based. Survivor can guess the right box and get rid of the key in first 20 seconds, instantly making 1/4 of Pig's slowdown useless.
- Because of how RNG based and dependant on survivors' actions RBT are, they are doing very poor job at winning time for Pig. You can never know at least approximate time you won with your main power. You are playing literal gambling game with her.
- RBT also have very narrow windows where they are actually useful: Before first gens pop (1st trap which you get activated quickly). Between 4th and 2nd gen (at this point gens keep poping fast enough for you not to care and slow enough to manage 1 or 2 chases to put traps on). In any other case, traps either DON'T activate or putting them makes no sense: putting trap on last gens is useless as you are stalling game anyway and not letting them do gen, putting trap in the endgame is useless by definition and so on.
- Ambush attack is just a very sad version of Demo's shred. Nuff' said. You crouch - they quit loop. You try to ambush them - the roar gives up your position too early. Before terror radius nerf there used to be cool whispers shenanigans, but even they are gone.
I've always thought of her as top five. Built in game slowdown, HUGE potential to mindgame loops, and a stealth ability that can get you a free hit or grab. Shes my favorite killer to go against, and second favorite to play as. And the 115 doesn't mean anything. I can only 4k with pig and nurse, unless I get lucky. Why? Because of pigs natural game slowdown, and anti loop potential, and nurse is the best killer in the game, and I don't really have to explain her. I'd say she's 5th strongest imo. Itd go nurse, spirit, freddy, pphead, and pig. I say pp boi is 4th because of his mindgame potential at loops. Spirit and freddy are obvious, and again nurse is the best killer. But yea. Pig has everything. Anti loop, game slowdown, and a stealth ability. Not to mention if they don't get off gens, which takes away your slowdown, you get a kill.

@Alphasoul05 said:

If your argument for one perk is bringing up another perk, then you have zero argument. Which, I think is pretty obvious.
NOED isn't really a problem unless the killer manages to hook someone on the totem. You can find the totem, destroy it, and BT out the camped person. Worst case scenario you lose one person and 3 escape if you let them/they kill themselves. I don't see how being down an entire perk the whole game until the end is a big deal.
Endgame builds that require noed make the killer bad? I think everyone's tried out noed plus bloodwarden before.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
Give up DS and you can gladly take away NOED. Most killers don't even use it at high ranks. Almost all survivors use DS at high rank.
Two things. One, noed is fair, and so is ds. And two, not saying everyone does this, but a lot, if not most, killer players will tunnel if theres no obsession, making it essential in high ranks, where killers know no obsession=no ds. The only problem with ds is comboing it with unbreakable.
-
@Moundshroud said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/183021/noed-needs-to-be-removed-or-changed
Um, no? The survivors have NOT won until they successfully exit the gate. Your logic is faulty. Let me point out more fuzzy, half-baked logic. All Noed does is make you and the other suffer from the Exposed status. It means you can be downed with a single hit. There are quite a few Killers who can do that to you from the very start of the game. It is built into them. They don't even have to waste a Perk Slot. There are other Killers who have Add-ons and triggers that do the same. There is Haunted Ground that will do the SAME thing but even dirtier.
The only reason Noed FEELS wrong to you is because you foolishly get this rush of hope and then have to fight your way out. Noed is, in fact, much nicer to you than MANY of the much worse abilities. Why? You know when it happens. There is no surprise. You have the entire game to cleanse those Totems so you make sure the Killer wasted his Perk, and get bonus Objective points for doing it. Even if Noed goes off the Killer STILL has to hit you, and usually when the last generator goes up the Killer has to choose the right gate that most of you are going to run to or they simply miss you. So get over yourself, keep your rage to yourself the way an adult does. We should be dignified and humble in victory, and gracious and polite in defeat. Learn the game. You will find there are things that terrify and annoy a lot more than Noed.
This.

Also as a Killer he isn't terrible but also not perfect.
I read it. I was just saying tru3 was a bad example since he's bad at survivor, and a bit better at killer, but not much. He's really entitled, and blames losing on 4 man swf. That's why he's bad at killer. He doesn't think he can make mistakes and always blames losing on something else. He's overconfident, and that leads to losing.

Majorly I'm with you on this and don't expect him to come, I just think it wouldn't be as awful as people think.
Same. The problem is that this is an adult game. They can't add things from "kid" games to dbd I dont think. Bc whatever's in dbd doesn't matter. Its an adult game. But fnaf is constdered kids so parents would have a valid reason to complain. I think that it would be a lawsuit lol.

When I go against a good nurse I don't get angry about it because I know that they deserved the kill because they put time and effort into learning her and are reaping the rewards. But to as Spirit all they really need is <10 games as her and stridor. And outplaying spirit isn't rewarding compared to outplaying good nurses.
Exactly this.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. While I myself am not a FNAF fan I could respect the addition and would be kind of hyped actually. While the game has opened up to other horror game collabs there isn't a crazy amount of decent ones or iconic ones to add. Again, FNAF being good is subjective but you can't deny it's iconic. Even if it would be kind of silly, I think it'd be nice to embrace the silliness every once in a while.
(We play a game where Laurie Strode can be sucked on by the Demogorgon, where we literally run in circles against killers, and flashlights work the way they do)
