Freddy is funny on movies? And we all know he has highest kill rates on DbD.
The Freddy in DbD is from the 2010 remake and he was more serious in that one. Sure he had one-liners but he wasn't silly.

Fair is subjective. So no. Some people think slugging is unfair, I don't. Some think tunneling in unfair. I don't. Now they may be unfun. But not unfair
I really don't think "fair" is subjective. It's just giving everybody equal opportunity.

People out here really think Wraith and Spirit are in the same world of strength.

He is no more funny than clown
Clown is actually somewhat threatening. Chucky is literally a baby doll.
-
Sanctum of Wrath is top 5 least favorite survivor maps. That one and Azarov's Resting Place can be easy 3/4 gens.
-
Chucky is too silly for dbd in my opinion. They try to make every killer very serious and he would stick out.
-
This is totally not the Cheryl I use in-game... shhh....
-
I saw that mod... Why would anyone want Pyramid Head in his underwear lmao.

By the way will ghost face get one since he is an original character?
Ghost Face is licensed but it could happen cuz the Fun World license is cool apparently.
-
There are a lot of Resident Evil characters I want. Sheva for sure.
-
He's basically the equivalent of his Windstorm add-ons which every Wraith used before anyway.
-
He didn't get a rework... Just an add-on pass.
-
Most killers are like that for me.
-
I don't think it's available in China... The government has a really strict hold of Steam.

This combo actually does work.
Oh wow cool, thanks.

...why shouldn't PC players get an event too? PC has been having issues too lol.

Honestly hex totem spawns like that are extremely rare in my games.

I'll just comment why I'm not using mine. I have all perks on all Killers and the roughly 10 Survivors (haven't counted recently) I play. Until another character releases that I need perks on, using cakes doesn't help me get perks, just more addons and items, which I don't really have a shortage of.
But believe me, the time will come when I use the cakes. Eventually those bloodpoints will be had. :)
Lol Almo can you spawn yourself in like 80,000 cakes and use them every game?

Its the exact same thing. Assuming you get 10k points in each game. Having 5 cakes in one game would net you 62,500 points. If you were to play 5 matches using just one cake, you would get 20,500 points for that game. Now you do that for 5 games and you have 62,500. You have the exact same yield. Not using your cakes would net you a higher yield since you can use them when others arent. RIght now a lot of people are using them so you can essentially have free bonuses. You are not losing any points by saving cakes and in fact have the potential to make more than you will by using them now.
Of course that example was assuming you got 10k points each round but that doesnt factor in "duds" or games that are over super fast for one reason or another and you have potentially wasted a cake. Right now, not using your cakes is the wisest thing and mathematicaly you will have more bp than if you were to use them now.
You will not have many games with 5 offerings and you shouldnt (because you shouldnt be using your cakes right now)
No you get 62,500 EVERY GAME. Not 62,500 in 5 games.

It doesnt make a difference if you get 105 or 525 a game because you can get that value just spread out over matches. I'd rather use the cakes when I want double bp than use them now when everyone is using cakes and I can get the bonus anyway without having to use mine.
Whether you get 525 from one game or 105 from several games, youll still get the same amount. And realistically youd actually be getting more by saving them since people will use theirs and you will get a bonus without having to use your own.
So I would rather get the bonus from others and potentially just the 1 cake than waste my cakes for 525 bp in one game.
That's not how math works. 525% in each game for 5 games in a row is a LOT more than 105% for 5 games in a row.
-
What.. can console players not earn as much BP as PC players?

these counters don't help when the survivor is in the other side of a wall, where grunts are the only clue
The survivor is injured. Blood and scratch marks still exist. How would you track a healthy survivor behind a wall? It'S iMpOsSiBlE!
-
Use your eyes.
-
I want to get good at Spirit but she is so hard for me. I am really terrible at tracking in general and her power basically is only tracking.

You know console dbd players are way more than PC right...?
The way the PTB works on PC probably wouldn't even work on console anyway. You have to install a special version of the game and on console it would literally have to be a completely separate game on the store which is extremely unnecessary and would probably cost them a ton in fees for every platform. It's easy on Steam cuz you can actually modify your game files and such.

Who said they won't stack after the event? Are you one of those who believes BHVR is going to remove the "Stacks" part from the cakes after the event ends? Really? Why would they do that?
I still have cakes from the 3rd and 4th anniversary event that still stack to this day, using them now or using them in 3 weeks changes nothing
It stacks after the event but nobody uses them after the event because they're not being given out anymore.
-
@Lycidas said:
What's the difference between me using my cakes now or me using my cakes next month?
Other players are still going to receive a 105% boost whenever I play them, it's not like they are going to give less bloodpoint once the event ends..
Because they won't stack. Would you rather 105% per game in a month or 525% every game for the next week? The extra points you'd earn stacking them will buy more cakes, people don't get that.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Because I need to save them for later when the grind goes back to painful
It's worse to save them. After the event you'll only be getting 1 per match but during the event you can get up to 5. You should be stacking them not using them one at a time.

He has great synergy with perks like ruin or pop but ever since his slowdown add ons got nerfed I think it’s fine
I think Ruin, Undying, and Tinkerer are too OP on him. He can just get a Tinkerer notification, teleport to the gen for free, and then regress it in their face way too often and easily.
-
Too strong with specific slowdown builds.
Fine without slowdown IMO.
-
It costs them money to release updates on consoles so a PTB would just be too much work and too much money for them.
And they extended the anniversary event?
Also they gave the shards and BP to console as well...

That's... just luck
No skill check trigger odds are increased by 10% which is more than double the normal skill check odds.
-
Yeah it feels like it's been happening way more often for me. One thing I noticed is that if you use Spine Chill the chances of getting skill checks are higher so that may be affecting it.
-
I always recommend Ruin + Undying on most killers but it's awesome on Doctor specifically cuz of his tracking. If you play Doctor well enough the pressure will really be on for the survivors and they will need to play perfectly if they want to get through both hex totems.
-
That looks like lag... I've had that happen before but it wasn't as dramatic as that. I don't even know how you could teleport like that with a hack in the heat of a chase.
-
I don't have a problem with this as a killer or survivor. What could even happen? If there was a 3 gen would it automatically reveal all survivors? How could the game even determine what a 3 gen was and there are so many variables that it couldn't have 1 rule set like reveal all survivors.
-
If I play dbd while in a bad mood I will just get tilted into oblivion.
-
Lol Hawkins, Dead Dawg and Midwich are all killer sided, Hawkins having the highest kill rate in the game. There are also some killer sided variations like Shelter Woods and a lot of the Autohaven maps. Sure there are a lot of survivor sided maps but don't call all killer sided maps "balanced" because they aren't.
-
Imagine double Hags... ugh that gives me nightmares.
-
No I really don't think so because M1 killer powers accentuate the M1 itself. Legion can injure people really quickly and if you play your cards right you'll be basically playing against a team of No Mithers. Ghost Face and Myers can down you in 1 hit. They balanced the M1 killers around their power and some of them should get buffs like Myers but I don't think it's worth reworking every single M1 killer.
-
I wouldn't be against this but honestly with all of the problems and other things this would be at the bottom of my priority list. I would rather have other custom stuff like moris and maybe terror radius music before a basement.
-
The only slowdown I'll genuinely complain about is Ruin + Undying. The reason why is because it has no downsides. Even if it doesn't stay up that long it still took a lot of time for the survivors to find and cleanse both totems. In that time they can't be doing gens and they might even be regressing with Ruin. No matter what it stops people from doing gens and I would rather have a perk with at least some downside to it.
I wouldn't really call Tinkerer a slowdown/regression perk it's more of a tracking perk but that one is still annoying to me as well because it also doesn't have any downside or it doesn't take any skill to use. It just goes off and then you go to that gen.
Corrupt and Pop are fine with me because they're more balanced IMO.

I think firecrackers is a bit different than a myers using a blight rush.
I mean it's barely a blight rush at all and there's a blight pustula animation with it, even if people did report them they typically don't care that much about reports. Survivors are also still able to use the Halloween medkit add-on so if that was the case then they would also ban those because new killers would report survivors for moving too fast.
-
I really don't think that's the reason. They still allow the firecrackers and new players don't report people for using event items they weren't around for.
-
Popular but unreasonable opinions? Ok keep saying "genrush".
-
2 attempts is the average now, you can still get anywhere from 1 - 6.
-
Ruin, Undying, and Sloppy Butcher are top tier on him because he's so fast. Play kind of like a hit and run strategy where if someone is in a really strong setup just leave them and go after the other gens and have them regress with Ruin.
-
@Seraphor said:
Oh look someone who's never played killer.
Bruh I get rank 1 killer every reset and ofc I use slowdown it's by far the best strategy in the game. I'm just saying it's annoying to go against.
-
######### are killers supposed to do? Just never use their cakes? Yeah I just have 90 cakes in my inventory cuz survivors suck and they don't deserve my cakes.
-
You've opened the floodgates.
