Lot of survivor perks are actually quite stronger than killer's tbh lol
-
Honestly bloodrust 10 design itself is meh, it'll be literally no counterplay or literally pure RNG.
-
Now range actually matters lul

The grind looks worse than before because you get less BPs than before since there is no Bonus to BBQ or WGLF anymore. So it feels worse. But once you bought the RE-DLC and you can play the characters with a real Build because you have unlocked almost all Perks on them, you will see that it is better than before.
except it is pointless for survivors anyway.
-
If we remove PT, toolbox and all slowdown perks game might be actually better.
-
Tunneling never been considered bad form anyway.
-
Because it is, and it's actually just worse for survivors too.
It's marginally better for killers and objectively worse for survivors.

Many killers also have bonus BP addons.
@Jeromy137 said:
Killers have 3 perks for bonus BP while survivors only have 1 and that 1 perk is being attacked on the forums pretty hard
If there should be any bp bonus on characters it should be the survivors esp since you can easily tunnel out a survivor to only have 2-6k bp
none changes max bp anyway, what's the point of it.

@NerfedFreddy said:
Everyone knows that. BHVR refuses to apply any changes to SWF even though SWF is the most unbalanced thing in the game
Unironically saying SWF is balanced?
-
Same goes for pig in some degree btw, and even trapper maybe.
-
EVERYONE should come with blood point incentive, doesn't matter survivor or killer it's just pitiful and hurting game a lot.
-
Hiding is very well be hostage situation, killers have no basekit tools to reliably find COMPLETELY hiding survivors.
-
I think RE chapter lore is basically a joke, like not about how bad it is it's literally a joke text.
-
They won't get a nerf in any way, no point in discussing.

Recharge, not Range.
Oops, ultimately recharge makes nurse slightly faster I think.

Why not create something in the game itself that prevents this from happening? There is nothing for the killer to indicate or know that this is "against the rules" in some way, because the game allows them to do it. And it obviously isn't exploiting some bug. Why not allow the survivor to disable collision with the killer if they touch their model for some x amount of seconds?
Having these arbitrary rules that you expect to be enforced because the game doesn't prevent these types of things from happening is bad. How is someone supposed to know this is bannable?
Hell, hatches encourage survivors to take the game hostage by starting hide and seek at 2 survivors left, Hook suicide is a thing despite we have DC penalty, and strange stubbornness about quicker hard time limit for match itself.
this game is full of extremely weird decision like that.

I actually can't really play Nurse (haven't tried with add-ons yet) but they insist that Double Recharge makes no difference.
Can anyone confirm that?
Also she said that the Nea shouldn't have been playing Survivor if they got tunneled by a Nurse at 3 gens. It was 5 gens left when the Nea died but it's whatever.
Important Progress & save data information has been copied from the Live game to our PTB servers on August 1st. Please note that players will be able to progress for the duration of the PTB, but none of that progress will make it back to the Live version of the game. Features New Killer - The Mastermind New Perk: Superior…At least in 6.2.0.
-
This game has always been "pay to not lose" btw.
It was much worse for killers for long long time too.
-
Play survivor.
-
Because hook suicide is basically DC without any penalty at all? who gonna love broken, toxic and extremely unhealthy mechanics like that.
-
I think you are in same vein as those killers as you are taking tunneling personally, there is no real reasoning for tunneling beside "they found you first".
if we believe your assumption of that those killers are triggered is correct, of course.
-
BBQ were a thing until today.
-
Yeah, it's always quite interesting to see nurse being able to ambush people outside of her terror radius, that kind of nerf wouldn't really hurt her much anyway.
Infectious fright is a thing though.
-
BP economy is bad for the game health, everyone should get 5x BPs ALL THE TIME whether they are killer or survivor.
It's usual for killers to have more BP because they will always stay in the game, but when survivors escape they deserves to have equivalent BP too.

Even if a boon is active it's still quicker to team heal than self heal.
Heal the team mate then you can both get on the gen. What you lose in heal time you gain in 2 suvivor repair speed and you're both more secure in terms of health state too.
150%/2 is no faster than 75/1, but since generators have penalty in cooperative repairing it's always more efficient to heal solo.
-
There is extremely few situation where healing is not an ideal action.
...also if you don't like healing people for 16 seconds, you can always bring botany with you.

Funny, I find face camping to also be 'not engaging in gameplay' yet the whiny killer mains will always retort 'Its a legit tactic! It's not on the list so it's fine! Just play better! Killers get to do what they want to have fun!'
Stealth is part of the game. Hiding isn't against the rules.
How about you just get better at finding survivors? After all, if they think hiding is fun, then that's how they enjoy the game.
face camping is very much in the list, and just hiding without doing any gens are actually against the rules.
Game is literally not made to be played against permanently hiding survivors, that is also the reason why it can be bannable.
I suppose you are just mistaking camping/tunneling/slugging and FACEcamping.

@AetherBytes said:
The issue is there are legitimate causes for this. I had a 20m game once where it was me and another survivor hiding. The killer was too oppressive and we couldn't do gens, so we both had hid, by our own seperate decisions, hoping the other survivor died first so we could have a chance to escape.
This is why hatch mechanics is flawed and so detrimental to the game, who the heck implemented a system that encourage people to take the game hostage?

Well, any time is good time, so feel free to play them!
I'll personally wait until we know whether the bonus incentive applies to offerings as well or not to do so 😉
It did applied, so it still will be unless they intentionally remove it for some reason.

I don’t think a perk should reward failure, which is what NOED does. It’s the same problem like Dead Hard was. I don’t think they actually fixed the core issues with NOED.
Actually I think a perk should not reward winning, because that will increase gap in already winning game.
All it does is making gap bigger and match less interesting.
-
If you are hooking survivors in 30 seconds, I doubt you need DMS in first place.
-
If they are understanding game enough to the point they can properly limit perk combo they don't need such system in first place.

Yes. We all gathered to a secret meeting and decided to increase her Killrates by that. You know, Survivors cannot even somewhat coordinate which Gens should be done or that a 99% Gen on one side of Resting Place might be at 99% for a reason, but we all decided to get her nerfed by mass-killing against her.
(to be honest, I dont see any DCs or Suicides against Nurse in my games, neither as Survivor nor as Nurse myself...)
Honestly, actually coordinating in the game is much harder than just DCing or suiciding on hook which can easily results in 4k, so "they can't even coordinate in the game" is rather moot.
-
So this is the result of all the effort survivor put into the game to make nurse easy.

The big difference is that Survivors toxic Behavior has no impact on gameplay at all. Killer toxicity however can hinder the Survivors from playing the game.
When I look at OPs post, they got a 2K and 9 Hook-States, which mean that even the two surviving players were hooked at least once (one one time, the other one two times). So they had a decent game, a 2K, probably a good amount of BPs.
Now, what happened to me two days ago - I played against a Nurse on Midwich. She was using Lethal Pursuer, I had her on me right after the start. After some chase I got slugged and just left on the ground while the Nurse was somewhat patrolling around me (she was probably checking Gens nearby but blinked back to me from time to time). My team tried to pick me up, which was a mistake, but in the end, I was not playing the game for over 4 minutes, because I got slugged for the whole duration and the times where I was not slugged, I was able to run a few steps and got slugged again.
In the end, 3 Survivors bleed out, the 4th Survivor was hooked after almost 4 minutes of Bleedout. So 4 Survivors had to lie on the ground for almost 4 minutes and I did not even have a game at all, except for a bit of chase. The Nurse did not even have a build for this (so no Knockout or Deerstalker), just a normal build and even brought a Flan.
So you are telling me that me not being able to play the game for over 4 minutes is the same like a Killer waiting for 2 minutes until the EGC runs out, even if they dont have to wait that long, because they can just force them out? All of this while they had a game with a decent outcome?
Come on...
But I know what the problem is - the Survivor might be teabagging!!!11111
Killers slugging have no impact for the game, there is no difference in hooking them and waiting for bleedout.
Please do not try to defend literal waste of time with no benefit at all.
-
What's the point in neverending DC justification thread? to make more people DC?

Yes please waste 28 seconds booning a hex just so I can step on it with shattered hope.
Yes, please waste a perk slot that could be dying light/thanatophobia/PR/gift of the pain to shattered hope!

Probably not needed, game is not dying despite nurse existing for eternity.

I mean, thats the only way to suppres players complain. If you nerf her power directly (like increased fatigue, reduced blink range), "Playing Nurse is unfun now" topics will rise. If you just nerf her addons, she still will be strongest killer and players will still complain about her. Reworking her power is the only way to suppres complains about her.
Realistically speaking, we have no reason to suppress complaint.
Just ignore it like it's been done to many things.

My easy 4k machine? I main Sadako. Do you really want to talk about an easy 4k machine with me? There are more who agree with me, like:
I think you should ping sluzzy because apparently that guy is probably easy 4k machine with rather biased opinion.
-
nurse is the one who got LEAST benefit from the buff, I'll laugh if she suddenly got higher kill rates.
-
Are you seriously saying 32k is TOO MANY? in a game where you NEEDS 10m+ bps to have fun?
There is no such things as "too many bp", only thing that exists here is "not enough bp".
Even the devs are not understanding this fact, that led to overall reduction in BP gain... which is extremely detrimental and have a potential to make game super boring for everyone.
-
I won't say it's a bad thing but it's definitely wrong to not have consistency.
-
Honestly it's understandable because they can prove that DC wasn't done in malicious intentions.
Like they are all streamers, right.

I would love to watch some of these people play nurse live.
You know, even actual gameplay can't really prove anything.
Like if that is the case, we are already nerfing nurse due to top players.

DBD does not have much mechanical skill, but a lot of sensorical skill.
Blendette works/worked because she blends in with the environment, which is just plain dark and earthy, unlike SIGNAL COLORS LIKE BLUE OR RED.
Yeah and with different color they can't blend.
basing game around sensorial skill is pretty much equivalent of throwing accessibility away, and apparently that is not exactly what dev want.
-
I wish people had anything more than their own feelings to prove the strength of nurse.
-
Yes and no, definitely easier to get 4k than trapper but calling her easy is crazy.

"Nurse is overpowered cause Nurse players in my game run overpowered things"
Now bring a basekit Nurse to rottenfields or lerys with 0 slowdowns and watch her struggle. The issue isnt Nurse, its the players playing her.
Its no different playing Blight with alch ring + speed, Hag with MYC + mint rag. Spirit with mother ring etc. Stop blaming the killer when its the players: and no "but Nurse ignore all mechanics and defense in the game" is not a good argument or is true in general
And according to statistics players aren't even bringing overpowered things THAT much.
-
Having four slowdowns aren't even a problem, like who the hell NOT take a perk that stops other side from achieving their objective?
