i can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost been in a accident the funny part I have lost 2 cars to drunk drivers but the best part my car is always parked when it’s hit so I’m just doing some work and stuff and I hear a loud BANG go outside and I see this blue car try to gun it away before it dies and then after that 2 months later another person flys into my car since then I keep my car in my new garage but I’m sure someone will still find a way to hit it
@friendlykillermain The funny part was that that day was raining really hard. I spun out twice. I was also on an hour drive (a little over), but what got me wasn't even my own mistake. Some kid thought I was gonna yield for him to turn and ended up turning into me. I had right of way. Did you manage to get them to pay for the damages or didn't catch them?

I'm doing my best to be calm so I'm trying to get all the stress out now 😂
I did most of the work on the video and I'm probably going to be the one to talk about it even tho I'm not in a speech class. Help!😂😱
@LCGaster Make sure to practice a lot! Pull in a friend or get in front of the mirror. You could memorize the points so that you aren't reciting it and have some leeway for a slight flub. Remember to breathe, too! Deep breaths. C:

@friendlykillermain I actually got into a head-on accident last year, and since then my anxiety amp up. I don't remember being anxious about getting over, but now I sure am. -w- I get you, though. Or someone turns into the wrong lane and you almost hit them. It's rough.

@friendlykillermain I feel you. Hate driving, gives me all kinds of anxiety.

@Tzeentchling9 I was wondering that, too. XD Maybe he'll be around later. c:

You could also use their power to find those stealthy Claudettes or to waste time. You hit a person and you'll see more people. The timer will be prolonged, too, so you (hopefully) should be able to get to everything.
-
If survivors were able to use Deliverance after everyone had died, that would also mean they'd be able to kobe, right? That would create a situation where killers wouldn't leave the hooked person until they were second stage and prolong what was essentially already a loss. Just because you weren't hooked doesn't mean you had a successful game. Doesn't mean you're the strongest runner and best at stealth. You've already lost if everyone dies and you get hooked. If you can't find the hatch before the killer gets to you and all your teammates died, you don't deserve a free escape.
-
You forgot that survivor's mending also stops the progress, which I really don't think is necessary. I agree with most if not all of your points, though.
-
@Ember_Hunter I think she's fine, too. Probably higher mid tier or low high tier if I were to place her.

My only problem is losing frenzy for missing one attack.
@TreemanXD I've seen people suggest just losing a portion of frenzy for a missed attack. I'm not sure why they didn't go with that. I don't know how I feel about the decreased speed in FF, too. Why did they decrease it? Anyone know?
@LCGaster BBQ is on the shrine? OwO

There's plenty of counterplay killers can use while being looped. As a killer, you can peel off the survivor if the chase is going too long and you can learn how to take loops best to maximize your time. I would say not to respect pallets. It's best to take the stun or call them on their bluff, rather than taking another loop.
There isn't any counterplay for being tunneled by a Legion. They're very strong in a 1v1. If they get the first hit off (which should be easy), tracking you would be easy, too. Most bring along Bloodhound. They can follow you until you fall or FF you until you fall. Also their power notifies them of everyone nearby. There really isn't another killer with an advantage like that. And the only other killer who can ignore loops like Legion can is Nurse, which takes a lot of skill to get down. I think making Legion's power a time waster instead of making Legion rely on their power 'cause they're too slow otherwise is preferable, but the PTB isn't out yet and I'm personally waiting until I can try them out before I make any judgements on it.

They're decreasing movement speed also "slower than bloodlust 3."
So increased time, but less movement speed. So he has even LESS map pressure now too.
@Incirion @ people they won't know you're speaking to them. It doesn't notify them. I'm not entirely sure on how I feel about this change. I've been saying for a while that his normal speed should be that of a normal killer and that his frenzy should be longer, which are two things they've included. I don't know how the rest will work out in game, though. I'll have to test it out before I can judge.
-
The Legion rework is a rework. We don't know if it'll be bad until we can test it in game.
-
Honestly the issue you're having would be fixed if survivors could see other survivor perks. If they knew you had DS, they'd be more likely to try to get you off, but they don't want to farm someone just to lessen their time to do gens and get out.

I can wait for the PTB, but if what the notes say is true, he will be THE ONLY KILLER IN THE GAME, that can get a confirmed hit on a survivor that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING aside from giving said survivor a speed boost, and stunning himself.
@Incirion I think they're changing it so that you get the initial hit with FF (after hitting everyone else), and then chase down the victim at normal speed. I'm waiting to see how the changes work out, too, though. I saw they were increasing the time in FF and I'm guessing it's to increase the possibility of getting to everyone. Depends on how much of an increase it is, though.
-
Sounds like it'd fall under "insults," "intimidation" or "repeated harassment." Going by the rules, I would think it's reportable, though they may get many of these sorts of reports at a time given how toxic players can be.
-
We should wait until we can try it before passing judgement. I'm curious on if the increase in feral frenzy time will be enough to reach all survivors (since you could pressure multiple survivors and just chase the last one hit) and I'm happy for the movement increase.

@fluffybunny that’s not always the case. Sometimes the survivors are better than you so they go quickly anyway.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/419117#Comment_419117
All of those are annoying but they aren’t toxic. People from both sides need to stop calling ways you kill/survive toxic. Face camping is annoying but it isn’t toxic and neither is gen rushing.
@TreemanXD The only time I'd consider it a real gen rush is if there was green toolboxes with prove thyself, but I don't really think people are "toxic" for bring certain perks. A lot of the unfair aspects have been curved a bit, I think, and items that were way too strong (4 man BNP was a joke way back when) have been thankfully nerfed. I understand what you mean, though. I'm still getting better as killer and will occasionally get a group I can't compete with. Like everyone loops really well.
-
I personally don't think MoM is too bad. It's a late game perk, where you're already snowballing everything. Part of the reason old DS was bad was because it took away from early game pressure. You couldn't hook someone you chased down or you had to eat a stab or juggle. Both of which took time. This was from nothing, too. With MoM, you need to be hit three times with a basic attack and many killers have alternate ways of downing or lessening the strikes. Trapper can trap people, Plague can spit up on someone until they can be one shot. The list goes on.
My concern is with power attacks. I can understand the desire to allow the nurse's blink attacks to count since she's already strong and that's generally how nurses attack, but like the Wraith's surprise attack for instance. You're not surprise hitting every attack, I would think, and he's much weaker than the nurse. I think it'd be fair to allow it to not stack on surprise attacks. I'm still observing it atm, though, and think there's more pressing issues to tend to than a new perk people are trying out and getting used to. Like the DCing issues.

@tt_ivi_99 said:
You know what's worse? If the Devs nerf MoM most people will be pissed because they bought Ash for that perk so... We'll have to wait another 2 years for it to be changed...
My only hope is that Devs have come up with a way to fix genrush and an end-game rework and they release it with the next middle-chapter update... If that's not the case I'll just uninstall the game. I have given them enough time and Im not willing to wait any longer.
@tt_ivi_99 I don't think that's entirely true. A lot of people were a fan of Ash, himself, and super psyched to get him in the game.

@Kikki There's a semi infinite in Haddonfield. I've seen Puppers run it before.
-
@GrootDude said:
@Kikki and if face camping is toxic then so is doing gens quickly.
Gens getting done quickly is a bi-product of camping and tunneling down someone/not applying pressure. @TreemanXD Camping generally is considered toxic since it's keeping someone from playing the game and being rescued.

How is waiting out Myer's power helpful in any way when he walks up, taps M2 to go into EW3 and immediately downs you?
And again, what is wrong with Bloodhound being used for it's intended purpose? Is it not meant to track injured Survivors? Hell, actually walking back isn't even necessary. I play my Legion with Stridor so I can find Survivors mending after their bar reaches 33% or less. Am I exploiting by using a tracking perk to.....TRACK?
@Tzeentchling9 When you're facing Myers, you're supposed to be looking around and paying attention. If he walks up close enough to tier off you while you're no where safe, that's kinda on you as the survivor. I think that's what they're meaning when they say there's a counter to it.
As for Bloodhound vs Stridor, one takes more skill to utilize imo. If you're running Bloodhound, you can just follow a path until the person inevitably falls down. They aren't being "chased," despite being followed. There really isn't anything a survivor can do in this situation. Also No Mither isn't viable to run if it's only good against one killer who's not even top tier. Its main benefit is largely ignored by good killers who know to pick up the NM, too, and you spend the entire match one-shot.

Taking different Roles? You mean those 2 faced girls? Nobody is taking any Roles. For much People the Game is competetive and not only for fun beeing a cute Meg. You just ignored my whole post and i have that Feeling your talking nosense here. I experienced it often, when the Killer chases your for like 3 Mins and your trying to escape. For example the swamp Map. There arent only things like rocks to hide in. I dont think you play as a high rank, because it seems like your thinking the tall grass on the Swamp Map and on other Maps are just for decoration. Sometimes when your getting chased by a Killer a long time and trying to avoid him AND you found while beeing chased a opportunity BUT thinks to cover behind are far away and on your radius right now where you actually are (and the Killer is meanwhile searching for you) theres only tall grass. Its a Stealth game, not a Fashion Show.
There's no need to be rude. You're native language isn't English, right? Saying "like those 2 faced girls" is unrelated to anything I said. You spoke as if the only role was to stealth and I responded to it as such. Most people are in the higher/middle range, actually. They're not playing to be competitive, but to have fun and part of that fun is style.
AND as I was suggesting before, some people take on different roles. You have gen jockeys and runners. Someone who runs the killer doesn't need to be in stealth and it actually doesn't matter if they are. In fact, it's better if they're not. Their goal is to keep the killer's attention so that people can do gens.
I dont think you play as a high rank
This is rude and unrelated to the conversation. I suggest you stop with this line of dialogue. @Remisee
-
It's also recommended to play both roles. :3 Doing the same thing over and over can get boring or work you up. Variation is nice.
-
A skill check duel could be interesting! :D So, would it go on for a certain amount of "turns" so-to-speak? What happens when a tie occurs. Maybe the killer escapes, too. 8D

It doesn't matter, when shes bright. Look at Claudette i mean she had even dark clothes bevore they added Cosmetics. I just think that the Developers should do a Mix like clothes which fits sexy which are all of you folks in this Thread like (bigcity barbie girl) and for Stealth for a Plus because i think the Developers would earn more Money for the Cosmetics the added to to make the Charracters and not only Claudette darker.
Much People thesedays dont buy Cosmetics, because they say they just looking pretty. The thing is most People think tactical. Why i should buy Cosmetics which are just for beeing a cute Meg? When Claudette had their darker outfits, like every Player which plays Claudette buyed that darker brown trousers and shirt. i saw so much Claudette which was even Prestige 3 buyed that brown shirt snd trousers. Like most of those Player HAVE it.
I just want to see for my main Charracters some darker clothes because IT IS a plus it doesnt freaking matter, when her face is white. i was playing mostly as a Rank 1 killer and i see other charracters hiding NOT because of their skin colour i found them, because of those freaking shiny cheeky meeky city girl outfits.
I just think that much People would invest in Cosmetics, when there would be a plus like something i like to see in an acutal STEALTH GAME.
You're talking about it as if people don't take different roles in the game, @Remisee. What about the people who run the killer? It doesn't matter then if they have flashy skins, then. People are far more shallow than you seem to think, sorry to say it like that. I see so many people in my games where it's obvious they're wearing something 'cause it's new and cute.
Regardless, I've stealthed past killers with bright clothes before. It's called blocking view of yourself with an object.

Would you rather me compare her hum to a foghorn? Because that basically what it is.
A Foghorn which says: Hey survivors! I'm looking at you! Run now!
@deathsia It really isn't. Do you really think Huntress is a weak killer in need of a buff? She's the only killer who can hit you with a damaging attack from very far away. Plague can at a closer distance, but people need to feed her power to do that and Huntress doesn't have a distance limit. She can pressure two areas at once and if you see a survivor, it's very easy to get them down especially if they're out positioned. I've seen people give the tip of paying attention to the humming and reacting to it to avoid being found since she's so strong in a chase. She can essentially one-shot survivors if close enough and that's without her iri heads. She's much harder to loop than most killers since she can throw above objects and if you're close, you're not missing your throw.

@Incirion said:
@fluffybunny fair enough. If they added voice coms into the game, with a sound notification for the killer as well, then ACTUALLY enforced the fact that discord was breaking the rules of the game, it would fix a lot of the problems with the balance. You can give your team information about the killers location, totem spawns, etc, but you'll also alert the killer to your location by relaying this information. Does that make it worth it?
@Incirion I'm not sure how easy it'd be to disable or disallow Discord, though. Otherwise I was also thinking it could be good to give killers a non-perk related ability to move the totem once every so often. That way if someone were to see the totem and communicate where it is while being chased, it may not be there anymore and may not be as strong. Directional mics could be cool, though, where you like hear them quieter further away and so on.
Otherwise we can incorporate icons, I'm not sure. I've seen so many suggestions and I'm honestly up for anything if it'll make the solo experience better.
