You guys are thinking of swf. We're talking about adding a buff to communication possibilities that will positively influence solo play, which can be difficult. If you're not aware it can be a pain, maybe try playing it yourself. Sometimes, survivors will farm and sandbag, which being able to to warn everyone to avoid being around them may be helpful. In situations with killers camping or with no one coming, it'd be helpful to notify the group as such, too. Other games have more communication options. Why can't DbD?

Kindred being in the base kit of survivors may be a good idea, too, though it should probably be nurfed to exclude the killer's whereabouts unless that isn't too op. Otherwise, just being able to press a button or to type out that no one's coming could also be helpful.

Identity V have Kindred for all survivors by default, to help balance solo players with SWF, and the game is more or less balanced towards SWF (meaning it's harder to survive solo), but there are many benefits as i mention like solo players being able to communicate and such

saying it's fine nothing needs to be changed are you aware then the possiblity of balancing SWF is 0? If they buff solo players near SWF standards they will balance SWF. This worked in Identity V and the Killers are still crazy strong on that game

i am speaking this as a Killer main, it's quite sad many people don't get this and kept their biased view on it's fine its fine

People don't like change. I think that's the biggest issue. Honestly, the game could benefit from a buff to solo play (if there was built in kindred and other methods of communication). We can't just get rid of SWF since it is quite popular, so we should buff solo play and also buff killers to counter swf and solo play. There's many things we can do and discuss, but most of these people are too busy being triggered to have a conversation.

  • They have a perk to counter the stun a pallet stun gives and if you get pallet stunned, it's 'cause you ran into the pallet. That's like saying a survivor should still get their flashlight save, despite starting the flash too early or too late.

  • We could also get a cosmetic that gives blond hair.

  • Wiith gen tapping, you can still get skill checks and it takes a lot longer than if you were to just sit on it. Less points, too. I believe I've heard it's a strategy in the same way that juggling is, though both are kinda cheap imo. They should punish gen tapping more, though. Like a higher chance of skill checks the more you tap, so you're likely to blow it up on accident.

  • Just keep trying. If you keep getting found right away and camped (and can't get pips or points), look at how you're playing and try to adjust. You're bound to have games where things go bad, but you won't always be the first to be caught and if you see the killer is camping, you have the choice to run off and do gens. Everyone has a play style they prefer. I would say get perks that go along with your play style nicely. The killer's supposed to be the stronger one. It's 4 vs 1.

you do know, that Killers ALWAYS loose their Add-Ons at the end of the game, right?
Survivors dont. So why do you complain, if you lost it once or twice because of a Perk? Us killers loose them all the time! And do you see us complain about it? cause I dont.

I have seen "complaints" as you would put them every now and then. I don't get how suggestions and ideas are complaints to everyone just because you don't care for the idea or you don't main survivor, so any survivor idea is a complaint. I honestly don't think killers should lose their items. I've seen someone suggest keeping their item if they get three or less kills (as that wouldn't use the item completely). I also think it would be a cool idea to introduce a method to gain items in the match for killers, too.

  • Well, I was thinking if the item was locked, it would ultimately add time survivors would need to spend in game if they would like to use their items and I know some (if not most) of killers complain about how fast the game goes. That'd add something additional to the game that the survivors would need to do. Maybe it could be inside lockers or something already in the match normally so that they wouldn't need to add something just for the idea. They would have to mess with something to get to use the item again (like the pig mask and getting it off). It would also stop the possibility of someone being able to stealing your item without you putting the item down yourself.

Yeah I was watching a YouTube video and I saw how fast the hag put down traps so I was like "i bet survivors will complain eventually" so I decided to make this. And I changed my avatar lol

    So strawman?

  • I've had games as survivor where I didn't get the 5k for escape when the killer dced. I've had games where the team was doing well, so they dced and we were rewarded with just 4k or so because the killer "unplugged". This isn't fair, especially if we used an offering (like a bps), don't you think?

  • I agree. If a killer DCs, we should at least get survival points since we survived the encounter.
