Kerjuice lets see...I dont mind extra BP i wanna have fun you get it?
If you give me 100k bp per match with a party of SWF toxic clickyclickies with COH you can take those for you.
I just can't take anyone unironically speaking about "clickyclicky" seriously. If that thing gets that much under your skin I think you should ask yourself if you're suited for multiplayer pvp games
-
My counterpoint to you is that the overall outfit you're using is just terrible :(

Actually, it might surprise you, but when a survivor is close you can still move without attacking, and that's how you don't lose distance.
And wiggling is the same, just aim on a side and wait for them to get there.
Like seriously, you can't get spun for 20 seconds if you're anywhere near good
The sarcasm of that first line is almost tangible

Nemesis getting blighted outfit before booba vampire lady outfit is what annoys me most

Basically every mid chapter is a health patch

Have you ever played her against an Iron Will? With the removal of fathers glasses it’s even more annoying to deal with them.
I don't main her but I do play her often. Might be an unpopular opinion but I'm happy with her current state. Sure against stronger teams now you'll need a stronger build than what you'd need before, but I don't think she's in a bad state at all, regardless of IW

Well actually.. I main spirit and Iron Will can and often is a complete pain in the ass.
Eh, I don't main her but hardly have problems with sound tracking (in general too, not only with her. Breathing sounds/grass scratching/footsteps...)

Have you seen the matchmaking leak for incentivising?
That's one of the things they've been talking about since two years
-
No, the problem of the grind affects everyone and it should be addressed in a way that doesn't inherently favor one "side" (especially when they already gain a lot more bps)
Now though, will they address the grind? Soon™ (same answer since two years)

For real? Is there an actual reported issue?

Map was shelter woods, two survivors remaining. I down the nea and right while I down her I see David health status go back to healthy. I hook Nea and I see no one with bbq, so since the map is shelter woods and there's no main building my educated guess was "he opened the chest in basement, healed up and went in a locker".
Bee lined the basement and got reported for wall hacking 😢

Please don't tell me you're moving on to become a troll...
It's true though, I (mostly) don't play with those perks at all
-
Pop: having it active only after hooking a survivor is horrible. It should always be active with no condition
Dead hard: 40 seconds exhaustion just for using it? Come on.. and the exhaustion timer doesn't even go down while running. It should be at most 20 seconds
This is why I don't use those perks

I don't think it would break the game the way coh did, but I don't see it being a good change either.
It means that 1 survivor spending 16 seconds heals two people which is the same speed of 2 survivors healing under release coh.
It still has the same issues coh brought out just slightly more restricted since both survivors need to be injured.
I don't think that would be the same because you need the perk yourself to make use of it. COH was (is) an issue because you need 1 person to have it and the whole team can heal
So it's a lot more restricted

That's the mindset Behavior had when making COH, we instead, need to nerf meta perks (particularly survivor meta perks) while buffing lesser ones.
Other than dead hard, survivor meta perks are there because of one specific reason, and nerfing them without addressing the root cause of them being so popular would break the game
-
It would really be strong. But we're in desperate need of viable strong perks, or do we want to keep complaining about the usual stale meta?

All you've told me is that "normal" strats don't work on comp players.
Thank goodness there's like 200 total competitive DBD players. You aren't getting that caliber of player every match. You'd be unlucky to get them once every 2 months. They are FEW and far between.
The game isn't unwinnable just because you play Killer. Even before I quit, I was still managing a Kill Rate near 90%. The issue is that it's not fun for the Survivors when you play like that and it's not particularly fun for the Killer either, it was far too stressful.
This
Also Pain Resonance's value is that it explodes the gen with the highest progression (without kicking it either, that's why I assume it's weaker than pop) which more often than not will be around or more than 50% progress meaning that survivors will try to push it (regardless of whether they untap to avoid the scream)
What I'm saying is that it gives highly valuable information on what area to pressure next (or not pressure at all? Ex: the gen that explodes is house of pain basement one - for all i care they can take it)
So yeah, as you said these perks don't really work much on comp survivors. Luckily, they're like 12 on a 50k average playerbase, and mostly playing custom matches

I went back to check, and you literally did. Rofl.
Correct me if I'm wrong then because I still don't see how I said the same thing: in one situation you're on the hook, where you have no choice on whether you're going to get unhooked, if you will get borrowed time with it, and whether the killer decides to stick around to hit you specifically as soon as you get unhooked. Nothing in that situation is in the unhooked survivor's control. Demondaddy said second chance perks aren't necessary, yet borrowed time and decisive strike in that situation would prevent something that has nothing to do with personal mistakes and are "second chance" perks.
On the other situation, it's the beginning of the game and you engage on your first chase, both players have all the options to outplay the opponent, with most killers inherently being stronger in the 1v1 scenario, and holding the option to drop chase and spread pressure to other survivors working on gens. That's in the hand of both players, with a lot of situational awareness involved (also known as: skill).
So again, how are the two situations the same?

Interesting.
So if the survivor is downed quickly after being unhooked while killer is in range. That's the killers fault.
If 3 gens pop during a chase, that's also the killers fault.
I guess that's one way to see things.
That's really not what i said but feel free to believe so if that suits your bias

@SunsetSherbet said:
I played 5 survivor games the other night and in every single game, the killer face camped. Why did they do this? Because in every game except one, the killer lost 2 to 3 gens before getting a down let alone a hook. So they took their first hook and just face camped because they have already lost the game with 2 gens done before a down. And in every case but one, they were lower tier killers. The one guy who wasn't losing all his gens in record time was a Blight on a favorable map. And he still lost.
Might be that face camping is a symptom of another issue, rather than the problem itself.
Yeah, might be that if you lose 3 gens in a single chase and proceed to facecamp then it's cause you have no clue how to properly play killer, and by not engaging in other chases at all then you don't learn anything either
-
@DemonDaddy said:
Second chance perks aren't necessary. If I end up dead from a mistake, oh well I'll take the loss as it was my own fault. Always expect the killer to claim an advantage when it presents itself.
Ah yes my bad for being proxy camped and tunneled off the hook, next time I'll loop for 5 gens + opening gate time

@OneGoodBoyDemo said:
So i just noticed something, if you are affected by mindbreaker/fearmonger blindness you have no idea where the hooked survivor might be, every time a survivor is hooked or die on the hook there's always that kind of explosion that looks like a black hole that reveals where they were hooked in addition to showing the aura, but for some reason mindbreaker/fearmonger hides both, making you not know where your teammate is, unlike Hex: third seal which hides the aura but that black hole reveals where the survivor is.
So I was thinking that if Hex: third seal worked as mindbreaker/fearmonger it could theoretically be useful, you wouldn't know where your teammates are until the totem is cleansed instead of lasting 5s, but then i remember it's a totem and can be cleansed in 20s after the match starts. Feels bad man
I didn't notice the absence of the bubble when the killer uses fearmonger, but if that's the case I'm pretty sure it's a bug, because no other instance causing blindness (add-ons, perks) removes that bubble

Wasn't pig's TR 28 meters? So it was neither 24 nor 32, and it just got standardized

I audibly groan every time I hear a zombie or hear the Nemesis TR at the start of a trial. One of the worst designed killer powers. Feels awful getting "outplayed" by AI zombies who happen to be in the right spot at the right time. Then you have the tentacle which is peak unga bunga hold to zone or free hit on animation lock.
And yeah, Nemesis tends to attract the "I'm a KILLER main" stereotype, so you know how the game is typically going to go right from the outset.
It's a terrible feeling when there's one zombie at the right place at the right time... But what about both zombies?
Watch "hate nemesis" on Streamable. -
I like to call him the "new Freddy". Quite brainless to play, little counterplay when he gets to tier 3 and very boring to go against (same as artist, but she actually requires some sort of thought process when placing her crows)

I don’t know why you have the idea that’s somehow relevant. Yes, there are horribly designed maps. Midwich is horribly designed and favors the killer (assuming they can counter hold W). Maps like Badham are horribly designed and favor survivors. So on and so forth. Of course if you put them in a drastically uneven map, the expected results will also be drastically uneven. That’s a given. What’s your point?
Also, maps like Coal Tower/Suffocation Pit/Wrecker’s Yard/etc and other relatively even-sided maps are where the 2K average comes from. When Nurse/Blight players at the highest levels of play face equally high skilled survivors on an even map, the average comes down to 2K. MMR gives uneven matches often, and many people don’t know how to face Nurse or Blight correctly in general. When matchups are blatantly uneven, of course the results will be as well. If one side is extremely experienced and the other side isn’t, the result will be one-sided. That’s not bad, that’s just a given. Which doesn’t happen when put up against actual equal matchups.
Anyways, let me know if you need help Googling how to play against Nurse/Blight.
Here's a pro tip: being of the opinion they're not balanced doesn't mean one doesn't know how to play against them and actively waste as much of their time as possible

Which is absolutely stupid in such cases. Let's protect the hacker and his friend helping him from having his matches dodged. I understand people with the same name could be unrightfully targeted, but let's be honest: what are the chances for two other people with the exact same name in a swf to be in your match?
Yesterday a friend of mine I was swfing with got tunneled out of the game and then the killer was like "I thought it was a hacker I had earlier because of the name, but now I checked the profile and it's a different one". Literally yesterday lmao

It’s amusing despite all the sorts of claims that people will make against Nurse/Blight, at the highest levels of play, they only average out to around 2K. People will go on and on and on about how unbeatable and unfair and OP and badly designed and whatever else they are, despite none of the actual results agreeing with them.
Yeah, maybe if an AI that could perfectly read the future and make the right mindgame call every single time always played them, sure. But that’s not the case here. People mindgame each other and the one that made the better play at a given instance is the one that successfully lands/avoids the hit from that instance.
If you’re in a complete dead zone, you will get almost guaranteed get hit. That’s not something bad. That’s literally how it should be. Your goal is to not end up in dead zones in the first place. Furthermore, because of how Nurse works, even in “dead zones” for traditional killers that would catch up via plain movespeed, if you evade her blink by making the better mindgame, it’s not a guaranteed hit zone the way it is with other killers.
On any other tile, every single thing a Nurse or Blight can do can be mindgamed to either evade a hit or prevent them from going for the hit entirely. Likewise, no one auto-wins or auto-loses based off the tile. No matter how strong or weak the tile is, almost every single tile can be mindgamed. It means having to actually use your brain to make the right call instead of just relying on what the map gives you to determine the result’s favor.
Tldr except that what you're (willingly?) omitting data because the average 2k comes from the different maps chosen in for the game. Nurse in ct/dds/wy/chapel is expected to 4k as much as blight is expected to 4k in certain maps where they play like suffocation pit. Call "expected to 4k" balance again please

Doesnt help, they can keep the match going, egc timer will never end. They can take you hostage for up to two hours, until the server shuts down.
Can they do that as well? Never happened to me, that's why it was my go-to strategy. Give the hacker attention while the others do gens, then open the gate and they all always left

Oh I’m stupid then. Still hate rancor though because it’s essentially a free kill in end game if the killer plays it right
Maybe you're confusing yourself with for the people, that decreases the chances
-
If you know there's a hacker in your match maybe killing other players isn't the best play. Let them do gens and as soon as they're done open the gates, otherwise the hacker will keep you hostage
