The Putrid Serum will be available for the entirety that the Rift is available - so 67 days from today. It will expire two weeks after that, so make sure you spend it before then!

Speed calculations are often misunderstood, so here's how they work:
A survivor doing an action without any penalty is doing it at 100%, or 1.00 charges per second.
You can find how long it takes to complete an action by dividing the base time needed by the speed. For a generator at 100% speed: 80 seconds / 1.00 = 80 seconds.
Now add in Thanatophobia, which at max is 16% slower. So: 100% - 16%; or 1.00 - 0.16 = 0.84.
Now let's calculate generator times: 80 seconds / 0.84 = 95.2381 seconds.
This is most evident with a 50% speed penalty - think old Freddy. If you do something at half the speed, you would do half of it in the same time it would take you to normally complete it. The math: 1.00 - 0.50 = 0.50. Then: 80 seconds / 0.50 = 160 seconds.
1% is hard to equate to an exact time because the function is not linear, so each additional 1% in either direction has a different amount attributed to it.

I love Wraith's because there's a lot of variety in his outfits, so you can go for the nature tree-like look, or the elegant Phantom of the Opera-style, or even the most recent junkyard theme. His blight outfit was also my favorite from last year's set.

I love idle games especially! A lot of them start out as clickers but then the clicking becomes less effective so it's just waiting to get more and more stuff. I've been lacking a good incremental game for a while so I'm open to recommendations ๐

I prestige survivors whenever there's a cool cosmetic I wanna use on them. I don't feel good putting in points past lv50 unless they're p3. As far as killers, I p3'd a few of the ones I like to play the most but that was just to get solid builds on them and have perk variety to choose from.

Mister_xD is correct. The map fills itself with tiles, and then places pallets in possible spots, prioritizing spreading them out. If there's not enough spaces to reach the minimum number, you get double pallets like this that don't meet the normal pallet-spacing logic. This should not be a common occurrence, and if it is, that means the tiles that spawned largely don't have pallets.

My Christmases are usually pretty lowkey - my family usually takes a vacation for a few weeks, so gifts themself are small and fairly practical. Two years in a row, I got silverware for my apartment because I kept finding myself running low.
I never know what I want! ๐ต

Times like this make me grateful that I can see my achievement progress on Steam. I need 50 more tiers up as Myers for his 300 stalks, and while it was demoralizing to see I needed so many before, watching the bar go up is very satisfying ๐ค
Good luck on the Huntress achievement! It took a lot of time for me just to get 20.

Of course it's a soup. It just makes sense.

I feel that his lunge has a longer range and that was just for him when he had to put people to sleep in 7 seconds, so they gave him the free first hit
All killers' base lunges are the same length. Freddy's looks longer simply because his model is smaller and his weapon is attached to his hand, so it doesn't reach out as far from his body.

Double bloodpoints begins at 11am ET, which is about 17 hours from when you posted this thread.

It's mostly related to trading on the Steam market for other games like CS:GO, Rocket League, or TF2 - games that have a third-party market that people buy or sell on. It's unrelated to this game.
There's no built-in reputation system, and for the most part it means nothing. People can delete comments on their own profile at will, so even a bunch of +reps isn't necessarily a signal that they're a good trader, or player, etc. Especially when it comes to DBD - you're more likely to get people upset coming to put "-rep"s on your profile than a +rep. Some people like showcasing these; I keep my profile comments off because it's not worth my time to read them.
TL;DR - It affects nothing. Don't worry about it.

I'm extremely tempted to buy Untitled Goose Game on my Switch. It looks silly and fun but not sure if I want to spend the $15 on it ๐

There is currently no way to link accounts or transfer progression across platforms. Notably, Mobile is handled by a different team and has a very different progression system than other platforms. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As far as threads going back that far, I don't know of a way to see the exact date it was posted. Congrats on the year ๐ค

I've gone through a few stages over the years. Like many people, I used Self-Care in most builds until the healing changes. I started using Bond a lot more - knowing where teammates were replaced the functionality of Self-Care while also giving more information. Any time I didn't use Bond I would feel like a lost puppy ๐
Currently, I'm in love with Fixated. The walking speed helps you disappear when you go around corners to lose the killer, and to round objects. I see myself using it a lot in the near future!

Bug reports need to go in the bug reports subforum - posting it in general doesn't bring any more attention than posting it there. If you look at the PTB patch notes, they are aware of the issue and are working hard to solve it:

"Added more logging to better help understand and track the issues where players are unable to successfully escape the trial through the exit gates, or perform certain actions."

Bloody Party Streamers used to be common as well! Basically what @brokedownpalace said though - they were introduced after the rest of the offerings. In fact, the individual category offerings used to be lower percentages when they were added (25/50/75% instead of 50/75/100%).

You still get new perks by doing the lvl 50 bloodweb over and over again.
Like Weck said - if some day I wanted to prestige those characters, all the bloodpoints past 50 would essentially go to waste. The only guaranteed way to not waste them is to prestige right at 50 all the way to P3, and then get all perks once I'm there.

I think fixated is something rather made for new players so they would understand how scrachmarks work similar to Windows of Opportunity, after using it for a while I found these scratchmarks showing up rather distracting cause I already have the idea of where the scratchmarks will show up after playing 1k hours, the walking speed increase as it is right now is very insignificant, it should be increased to 25% or 30% so it would actually be noticable, also the requirement to be uninjured is total bullcrap.
Inner Strenght is something that's gonna look cool at first, but over time you're gonna realize that you're just wasting a perk slot to save just a couple of seconds, or perhaps even waste some looking for a totem, cleansing it, and getting into a locker. Nowadays Killers who actually get good at the game don't even use NOED and I rarely ever see it at high ranks.
I've been incorporating walking into my chase strategies for quite some time now. Walking after vaults (until you know if they're vaulting or going around) or when they're doubling back on loops can deter bloodlust from building up. I wish it applied while injured but it's still nice to have healthy. The scratchmarks are just a bonus, even if I don't need the visual indication.
As far as Inner Strength goes, it's good utility. Stopping to cleanse a totem doesn't hurt (1000 points is 1000 points), especially if you have time at the start of a match. The quick heal can make a huge difference in a pinch, and it's nice to have another option for people that don't like Self Care (I haven't used it in over a year!)
-
I'm actually a huge fan of Fixated. I love walking in chase to hide scratch marks and to break bloodlust around smaller loops. The walking speed is fairly significant for making that a much more viable strategy. Seeing your own scratch marks is just a bonus on top of that.
Inner Strength is also amazing - it incentivizes cleansing totems to save time later, and combined with Head On it makes for a great locker safety build.
-
The Xbox and PS4 versions come with two DLCs included - Of Flesh and Mud (Hag + Ace) and Spark of Madness (Doctor + Feng). That averages to about $5 extra per DLC (rather than the $7 on PC).
-
Please remember to keep discussion about the topic at hand, not about other users.
-
The most points you can score without any bonuses is 32,000 (not including some events that increased the cap, but were separate and hard to multiply)
The highest offering you can have is the Gateau from the anniversary - a bonus 103% bloodpoints. Multiply this by 5 players for +515%.
You can either use We're Gonna Live Forever or Barbecue and Chili for an extra 100%.
The total up to this point is 100% (base) + 515% (gateaus) + 100% (point perk) = 715%, or 228,800.
If you add double bloodpoint events, that's an extra 32,000 (+100%) for 260,800 bloodpoints. There was a triple bloodpoint event back in August 2017, which could make for a theoretical total of 292,800 points.
-
If you are on Xbox or PS4, you may have had that perk show up in your web before Bill was added to the game. Before Bill was added, his teachables were common perks.

Big RIP.
If it makes you feel better, there's a fan theory that The Wanderer from WAR may be Elspeth.
I hope that's the case but I highly doubt it. I think they're setting up a big return to Theros with her as a prominent figure in the underworld.
-
I have a soft spot for Elspeth (RIP). She was the first card I pulled at my first ever prerelease for Theros.

Pickles and insects.
Pickles smell bad and taste bad to me. Insects are creepy crawlies and I don't wanna be anywhere near them.

I assume this is true normally as well when she has a TR but is still to far away?
Yes, as long as you are not within 20 meters, any perk related to your TR will not trigger.

The lullaby does not count as a Terror Radius, so it would prevent Borrowed Time from triggering.

Do consoles even have PTBs for any kind of game? Idk
They don't, because Microsoft and Sony don't allow two environments of the game. Even Overwatch wasn't able to do their PTRs on consoles. It's also expensive to push updates to consoles.
