Right, even if he isn't campy or proxy camping the hook, he still has the speed to come straight back to it while cloaked. He's a stale killer to go against.
-
Isn't Shelter Woods one of the top 3 killer sided maps? And on top of that, you were playing the Twins. Just improve, and try, try again. xD oh my gosh....
-
They should change it so people won't get confused, like me. Lol

I think I'm one of the only people in the world that likes premonition.
I like it, but only if Spine Chill isn't available on one of my survivors.
-
I think they did these changes to see how'd he perform for the next few months. Trial and error. I am very sure they thought about moving him to 115% movement speed but want to see how he does with these changes first.

Survivors can't tunnel or camp ######### are you on about?
This topic is about killers or survivors? Are you the one that created this discussion?
-
Well duh? A lot of the basement lords come out to play. I find I have a lot of good games before 9pm PST. After that, the tunnelers and campers come out.
-
Honestly, most of my games have been positive. You have to tell yourself to have a good time and not sweat the stuff you consider to be BS. It also pays to at least know what you're doing in your matches. Take breaks if you need to.
-
I came across a Tapp once during the last 50 matches I played, lol.
-
You'd probably end up wasting a perk slot to be honest. I hardly ever see other survivors run Distortion, Poised, or other perks to hide scratch marks.
-
We've all had to run down to the basement to get the save, only to both run up and see the killer on their way back. Thus new changes gives them that immunity regardless of where the killer is.
Plus, killers like to chase an injured survivor across the map, only to come all the way back to tunnel or hit the survivor that made the unhook.
Spirits, Billy's, and other mobility killers be like: Who unhooked my prey? I'm gonna get ya!!! Blargle, blargle, blargle...
-
A wholesome insult?
I hate you. Go to.....heaven?
I'm not good with these on the fly. Hahaha.
-
This sandwich doesn't taste good anymore. Yes, I ate it all but I want my money back.
That's how OP sounds.
-
If survivors have to constantly adapt to changes each patch update, so do killers. Freddy will be fine.
Thanks for the changes, BHVR.

Yup! At Midwich I went through 2 hook phases then death because one guy hid in a locker for the entire time (it was just me and them left). Fortunately, the killer must've found them as when I died I flicked to view the survivor trying to circle around a table - the hatch closed. They died, then had the gaul with his mate to whine at me for not suiciding. I just told them that's karma and blocked them.
It's just that entitlement which annoys me. Unless you're on comms and you agree to sacrifice for the hatch, if someone is gonna wait it out, don't expect any help from the hooked individual to die early. That someone doesn't deserve an easy escape.
Lol, my match was on Midwich also. Never give into their stupidity.
-
@CustomerService said:
I mean you can just stand there. Do you really think a person who would normally suicide is gonna be like “Oh, I can’t instantly die now. I’m gonna turn my life 180 and I will play optimally now!”
... well no.
This reminds me of a match I had a long time ago. The killer hooked me once, tunneled me off hook, then hooked me again. Once I was unhooked the second time, I just afk'd. The killer came back and ignored me. Somehow I was the only other one to escape still.
-
Did you record it so that we can see? Sure she didn't swap items?

no because when you chase them they'll run to the gate and tap it open. you'll never get them and then they twerk at you.
the EGC timer should start when gens are done in my opinion
Ok, but what about perks like Remember Me or the new Trickster perk in play? If the EGC starts once gens are complete, survivors will only have seconds to get the gates open and escape.
-
Yeah, I don't like her either. I made a post about her and Stridor recently and how Iron Will doesn't fully counter it.
She has a small shimmer appear around her body when she's phasing but this can be really hard to see and notice while in chase. They should make her phasing a lot more noticeable.
-
A good Blight on Shelter Woods or any other small, open map, is not fun to go against.

Why are we giving survivors map pressure.. you want the few killers left to completely leave?
Because why not?
It's not like it can be used many times. Like a one time use kind of thing and it'll be an ultra rare item.
-
Lol, it's like, if you didn't facecamp, maybe I wouldn't die?
-
Something to teleport survivors across the map or to any other location. I don't know much about Identity V, but that game has something similar.
-
I love playing against Nurse, even if I die.
I went against two red rank Nurses in a row recently and both times everyone escaped. (Playing solo btw. I don't want anyone to assume I was playing with friends and somehow had an advantage).
-
I bring DS only when I have a pattern of matches where I wish I had it. Since the update, I haven't used it yet.
-
@Reinami said:
I never used it to begin with. DS was and still is a crutch. If you don't like getting tunneled, get better.
Personally i think tunneling is fine because at least i still get to play the game. Facecamping on the other hand...
That's a foolish thing to say. "If you don't like getting tunneled, get better." You can be the best and still have no control over the killer tunneling you.
-
Yes, rarely though. Just depends if the survivor tilted me enough.

Just out of pure curiosity, do you happen to run rather strong, possibly second-chance perks whilst doing the gens as quickly as possible?
I'm not sure what you're trying to insinuate, but if you should know, I was running Iron Will, Spine Chill, Better Together, and Deliverance.
-
@swearingtulip28 Thanks. I'm over it but it's not going to stop anytime soon.
I'm familiar with how she plays and maneuvers but that's not going to stop people abusing Stridor with her power. I hope you aren't a tunneler.
-
Tunnelers gonna tunnel. Must be nice having easy matches from now on.
-
Kill them with kindness or just don't say anything at all. It's the internet after all. They probably can't beat you in a fight in real life so just keep it cute and move on :).

@Kirkylad said:
Spirits a hard one because on one hand as a solo survivor I hate going against spirit especially when she has strider. However as someone that plays killer as well I understand she's a necessary evil to deal with a decent SWF team.
Too bad I was playing solo then.
-
Yes to this!
-
@TheGannMan Yes, you did. I saw that.

and if you got an m1 killer what would you do? run around a pallet and drop? rinse and repeat until all gens are done? or how about run around a window loop 3 times until it's blocked
Survivor isn't exactly hard or complicated.
Did I say survivor was hard or complicated? This post is about how I feel about scummy players using Spirit and Stidor.

Really dude? I understand getting salty because we all get salty at times, but there's no need to call them out like that. I hate playing against Spirit just as much as you do, but it's really not necessary. It's just a video game lol.
You're right, it's just a game. But don't act like you never been pissed at a game before.

She did have Pop.

I play Spirit :(
I have $5 earbuds and a hearing issue due to someone setting off a firework near my ear.
Feels bad for me I suppose
You're an exception, I suppose.

@GannTM said:
While I do agree Spirit doesn’t take much skill, is it necessary to call out Spirit players and make them feel bad?
You'll only feel bad if you take offense to it. I can give two craps about how these players feel.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/240109/spirit-and-stridor-annoyingly-deadly
you have iron will to counter a massive mechanic for killers to track you and you have spine chill to tell every killers even strealth one they are coming before you can even hear the terror radius of non stealth killers, shut the ######### up about spirit and stridor
How about No. I stand by what I said. I guess you're one of the people I'm talking about.
-
@Kellie said:
I hate spirit to a next level, but I'm just gonna assume that you versed a stridor spirit recently due to your wording.
Yeah, I did. You don't have to assume. The [BAD WORD]-[BAD WORD] player tunneled me and I couldn't really do much about it. All they have to do is phase, listen for grunts of pain, and hit. Rinse and repeat. And I'll say it again, she was tunneling people off hook. Had the nerve to be a rank 2 killer at that.
Disgraceful.
-
I think it's a good idea, OP. Killers DO think it's a good idea to tunnel at 5 or 4 gens just because there's no Obsession.
-
What's the rulebook for survivors by Killers? Post that.
-
Can't wait til they take the aura reading off BBQ and Chili because I've read most people use it for the BP gains anyway.
-
If, in theory, there is a "power role", wouldn't that throw game balance off? I mean, the game's balance is already off because no one knows which side has the least fun; Killers or solo queue survivors.
Also, wouldn't people want to play more of the "power role" anyway? Which side holds the most potential?
-
Dead Hard is fine. I don't really use it. Stop complaining about it. It isn't that good to begin with. Thanks and have a good day.
-
Before, yes, played with a guy that got tilted easily. In fact, this happened with a few different people.
These days, I play by myself. Really hard for me to find one other chill person that doesn't mind losing once in a while.
