Leatherface can be problem maybe but Ghostface is not from movie license. So they can add map for him, they already wrote storyline for him.
Ghost Face is from movies.
-
It could be harder for them to add licenced killer maps, but for their original ones they definitely can do.
-
The game probably can't even handle something like that.
-
Hatch is a bad mechanic.
-
But we have to make up our own win conditions in this game apparently, so that could mean anything.
-
I want an RE1 Jill costume and an RE4 Leon costume.
-
I said before they put the DC penalty in, "Please differentiate between someone pressing 'leave match' and their Internet going out. It's easy." And they didn't do it, so now we have to see several posts like this in a week.
-
What don't y'all understand about smurfing? Players will be able to de-rank no matter what system we put in place, so don't act like it's exclusively MMR that allows that to happen.
-
No. Just no.
-
Probably Nemesis. After I get him 4 purple perks that is.

This getting hit through pallets ######### has been going on for like 4 months, is it ever getting a fix?
What's more common than this is the crazy hitbox on pallets where you stand back as killer to avoid the stun and you get stunned anyway. If the killer is hitting you through a pallet drop, he's either lagging hardcore or you're being greedy for the stun and dropping it late.

When the Comp number of players is so miniscule why bother since the majority of the changes will effect casual players.
If the game is balanced for the top, and is actually properly balanced, then when the noob players become better, they will reap the benefits of it being a balanced game. That's how Tru3 said it anyway.

Just remove overheat. Nobody asked for it.

Bruh.

Yes, he can set/reset traps where you're standing
Also has add-on that will reset random closed trap every 30 seconds. This one got me at a gen I was working on one time. 😂
Except when I'm playing Trapper, because I'll be trying to trap at their feet as they're in a locker or are trapped in a corner, and it always lets them out somehow, go through my body and everything.
-
I just don't like the negative side effects they give you. It makes no sense.

It doesn’t matter though. I could’ve saved up millions of blood points between the mid chapter patch and the Resident Evil chapter, then when the new chapter drops, P3 both survivors and killer, get all perks on them and then I don’t have to play the game. You think they want people to do that after their brand new chapter drops?
Yeah I might’ve played the same hours, but I’m still hoarding bloodpoints meaning that I don’t have to grind for anything when the new chapter drops meaning I’m not incentivized to play the game anymore. Which clearly would not be smart on their part.
I believe the bloodpoint cap should be raised by a certain amount depending on what your devotion level is. Give people who have a higher devotion level a higher bloodpoint cap. So somebody who would only be a level 2 devotion level can’t hoard as many bloodpoints as somebody who will be devotion level 20. It also gives players who have played frequently a nice reward.
I don't know where this narrative is coming from of people who would "hoard" BP and then not play the game for months at a time just because the BP cap would be raised or made unlimited. Who would do that? And who would P3 a character, get all the perks on them, and then not want to play them after? It goes against common sense. And I think if the BP cap is raised, which it should dramatically, it should not be tied to devotion. Everyone should have the same BP cap. Devotion does not equal frequency of play, only time played.

Yes, you could have, but not as easily as banking an unlimited supply of BP.
But you earned that BP, so what's wrong with that?
-
An entitled player is one that wants the other side to not play smart so they can have an advantage. For example, killers wanting survivors not to loop strong tiles, survivors wanting killers to never punish an unsafe unhook, killers wanting survivors not to body block, survivors wanting killers not to force 2nd stage when they waited so long to rescue.
-
Because boosted players who don't know how to play the game want to stay healthy ALL THE TIME, even at the cost of the gens. If they're not healthy, they simply won't touch a gen. They'll Self-care in the corner of the map or run around for 50 seconds looking for a teammate to heal them. High level is meant for you to push gens while injured, and the people who are stubborn and won't do that are the ones complaining. They're bad team players.
-
Almost never.
-
A way higher cap on BP wouldn't hurt a thing, but no. People will continue to defend to the death this pitifully small BP cap that we have, and back it up with entirely nonsensical reasons.
-
@TheClownIsKing said:
Because the devs want players to at least play a little bit of each available piece of content.
If there were no cap it would be possible to P3 50 a character, with every perk at T3, and never have used them, or never use them even after having done that.
Basically it’s to ensure players are exposing themselves to variety, and also to encourage investment in add on and offering stock.
You can still do that even with the BP cap. I P3 all perked my Trapper, and of course I played him which is the reason I wanted to do that for him. But I could have just as easily not played as him and done it anyway. The BP cap is just annoying, unnecessary, and pointless.
-
@CornHub said:
I'm sorry, but I don't want to go against the newest killer who's already P3 with all the perks running ultra-rare add-ons. The cap should be increased, but it shouldn't outright be removed.
But you'll have to go against it eventually, so why wait?
-
@Zozzy said:
Allegedly cheaters were giving themselves insane amounts of bp. The cap was put in place to make it easier to spot if that was happening and also they didn't like people maxing out a killer on release for some reason.
Whatever, dude! Punish the majority for a cheating minority!
-
@BenZ0 said:
if it is so annoying to do that why just dont do it? I personally have over 4k hours but never even did 1 adept achiev cuz I dont give a damn about achievs tbh.
Because some of us are achievement hunters, or we just want to be challenged. But this is not a challenge of our skill, it is trial in error because of the horrendously designed pip system.

Yes, it’s totally selfish of me to not want to play with rank 20s
No, the idea that this momentary downside is too much for you, that you want the devs to cancel it, even though we've been needing a better matchmaking system for years, is selfish.
-

Wait in that case can I abuse the system to get piss easy killer adepts?

Thanks that is what I thought...my trickster should be at the bottom then
Just don't expect it to start working immediately. It could take several matches before mmr puts you in the right spot.
-
This is my thoughts exactly. Impatience, people; Get over it.
-
You have to give the mmr system time to kick in. If you tell the devs to turn it off every time they turn it on because you're that selfish and impatient, we may NEVER get a good matchmaking system in this game!
-
The better you do with a killer, the higher your mmr with them will go. The worse you do with a killer, the lower your mmr with them will go. That's how we'll get more accurate data on matchups.
-
Up, but it usually doesn't work somehow.

Allow me to explain (not agree, just explain).
For starters, Pig is 4.6 while Slinger is 4.4. Because of this, they have differing Terror Radii of 32m and 24m respectively.
Slinger is 4.4 meaning he NEEDS to use his power. Despite being a ranged killer, he's the only one with a range limit of 18m, so he needs to get close. This is why he lacks a lullaby like Trickster and Huntress.
Pig has 3 powers. Her stealth, ambush, and RBTs. She's not meant to be the best in particularly any area but is meant to have a bit of many things. She has stealth, but it comes with a steep penalty since she's not specialized in Stealth like Ghosty, Myers, or Wraith.
Plus, statistically, Pig is broken strong. I blame this on Tampered Timer along with her slowdown stacking with typical slowdown perks.
Pig is not strong.
-
Survivors have way too much priority on Head-On. Head-On goes from a niche perk to almost meta because of how the killer gets hit even when they're actively trying to play around it. Fix it.
-
Here's how I see it. If you don't cleanse all of the totems, don't cleanse any. If there's a hex, that's the exception.
If you won't follow my advice, at least leave up the totems that are in the obvious spots, and destroy the ones in the hard to find spots. NOED will be down in like 30 seconds if you find it in the obvious spot.
-
An underrated perk is Pharmacy.
Chest searches are 80% faster, and the noises they cause are reduced by 8 meters. Pharmacy also guarantees an Emergency Med-Kit on your first chest search.
Ideally you don't want to search chests during a match, for efficiency's sake. But if you have to, I can recommend this perk.
An overrated perk is Self-care.
You can heal yourself at half the normal speed, and your self-heal item efficiency is increased by 20%.
This perk will get you and your team killed more often than not. The heal takes too long, allowing you to be ambushed in the middle of it for a very long window of time. Just do a gen while injured until a teammate comes to heal you. If you're teammates won't heal you, bring a medkit.
-
In before "Play how you want" comments.
-
You can lobby dodge but if you don't, just play normal because if they're gonna screw you up with a key, you can't really stop it.

The book "1984" is about a dystopian society where free will is suppressed, censorship is rampant, and brainwashing is a part of everyday life.
That's what I'm saying. How is "Now go play this game." relevant to 1984?
-
It should be a slider.

Yes it was. 100%. It was pretty good bait though right?
I think queue times were up due to steam maintenance as well though.
But it wasn't clever or even relevant to 1984, so why that title?

First two are attention seeking techniques. You can choose to NOT get upset by it or take it seriously.
3rd one is the killer taking out frustration or being bored. Again, you can choose NOT to get upset by it or take it seriously.
These things are not on the same level as death threats, wishing harm on others, and other things that should be called toxic, so stop using the word for it.
So nothing is toxic and it's all in our heads?
-
Clickbait.
-
How is flashlight clicking and tbagging not toxic? Or hitting on hook?
-
@miketheratguy said:
The only time I ever get mad at anyone on my "team" (I solo survivor) is when I can tell, through perks or otherwise, that they're legit not playing the game. They're just hiding the whole time, staying out of sight, not contributing, letting people die on hooks while they switch between lockers, etc., just so they can get the hatch escape. I DESPISE that kind of player.
Now, do I myself get crapped on by the rest of the "team" because, based on the fact that I prefer stealthy, sneaky gameplay, they simply assume that that's what I'M doing? Yep.
Looping is the safer bet in almost every scenario. There are exceptions, like if you're injured or dead on hook. But if the killer's not chasing you, he's chasing your teammates. So in a way, any time you're hiding, you're making the killer chase your teammates, unless all 4 of you are hiding. The best way to play stealthy in this game is to just play normal but have Iron Will equiped, and there you go, you're stealthy.
