I have a conspiracy theory that this "Built in Kindred" is a big tease for the survivors JUST like the "Close the hatch" was a Killer tease. It'll make it into the PTB and then not into the game so console players like myself are never even gonna see it. You heard it here first folks. #MissCleoKnowsAll

As in the killer is camping and I can see his face. Back in the olden days standing directly in front of the hook guaranteed that no other survivor could unhook them at all. That was dubbed Face Camping. Now u can unhook from the sides so even if the killer is standing there (presuming he doesn't grab u) u can get the save. Secondly, again, face camping isn’t possible because facecamping was body blocking the hook to remove the unhook prompt option. So no, it’s doesn't happen because with the introduction of Swivel Hooks, it’s no longer even possible to do.
You are moaning. And your using the word “facecamping” in order to add a more dramatic tone to your argument because it’s “powerfully foul.” That way you can make it sound much more horrible than it really is, and give your argument more weight.

Fact is that facecamping has been removed from the gameOr, i don't know. You're twisting the definition to suit yourself. If a killer is kissing the survivor on the hook they are FACE CAMPING. CAMPING THE FACE.

There’s White Noise 2 that gets balance and survival horror almost perfectly. Don’t forget Last Year is also on its way even though they’ve been silent. Let’s hope they’re watching DbD get sabotaged by its own developers.
i like white noise 2 but sadly is quite dead around 10 players peak is not playable and imo is a waste of money.
I've seen some gameplay and looks good but unfortunetly bad games tend to be played more than better ones.I agree. The devs of WN2 are just like 5 people with no dedicated marketing team, so yes they messed up big time with the promotion of the game. Just recently I talked with them about having a free to play weekend, which brought hundreds of players, but the fundamental problem with that game is player retention, so all hundreds of those players soon vanished. But none of them had a bad thing to say about the game. The small community is working with the devs to help them market the game better, the free weekend was a small step out of many that they need to take. It's a brilliant game with an excellent lore and actually makes monsters scary and has jump scares even in online mode! Even in that game, the investigators/survivors are overpowered but not as abusive as the ones in DbD/F13!
I know I'm sounding desperate about that game, but when you see a game made with passion, you just have to talk about it with friends and anyone who might find it interesting. Sadly, that same passion was lost with BHVR and it really breaks my heart.

I was playing doc last night (just for my daily) and I was gonna shock everyone and just let them go but there was 2 try hard tea baggers ( a Laurie and Feng) who kept acting like they were trying to bully me so I tunneled them and killed them both.....get a notification that I had received a message and put it off till the end of match. Kill one more and let the other go. I brace myself for the salty abuse and open my messages to a.......Good Game. I was shocked and felt kinda bad for the tunnel and camp i had just done.

As killer my fav perk now is probably Bitter Murmur. It's really great on Freddy and makes people scared to finish gens. It also punishes them for rushing by ganging up on a gen.

Yea I saw a myers with tinkered 2 the other day. I heard his music go off so I knew he went to tier 2 of evil within and then I started playing normal until he rounded a corner and grabbed me off a gen. My chest almost exploded

Yes this happened to me the other day and I kind of thought it was a fluke or somthing cuz I never spawn near the killer but after this update I spawned and he was directly in front of me about 15 meters away but could see me and there was no chance at evasion.

The killer's objective isn't finding the hatch. It's finding the survivor before they found the hatch. That's the point of the asymmetrical game. You are entitled to closing the hatch as much as you are to closing an exit gate or locking a generator: not at all.Here's an easy solution:
Increase hatch spawn requirements by 1 generator.
Two chests respawn with a temporary key.
The hatch now spawns closed even with one survivor left, but makes a quiet noise.
Killer can no longer stand on the hatch.
A survivor automatically opens and enters the hatch when near it using the key.
Survivors cannot be grabbed out of the hatch.
Survivors need to work harder to get, find, and use the hatch. Killers have more time to find the survivor. Neither are able to do a standoff.

@Beardedragon is raging cuz when they play killer they can't figure out a strategy againts survivors getting the hatch (like slugging the second to last one) so they want the devs to change the hatch so they can get their EZ4K.

if i cant grab him in the air and cant block the hatch, then the ability for me to let him out, gone. thats fine. but im given those options, so i will use those options.
but lets not forget that he also has the options to do generators. and right now, you cant close the hatch. so the killer wont move too far from the hatch either. it gives ample opportunities to do the generators.
