I played against Ghost Face earlier and had no problem revealing him. I think it was my first time against him on dedicated servers on ps4. Is it possible that they helped or did I just luck out?

You gave a reason, but no alternatives or suggestions. Which does not really contribute much more than no it's a bad idea.
Lol ok dude.

Neither do you, which was the point.
What? The fact that gates spawn the way they do is a very valid reason against your idea of regression. You're the one who needs to come up with a counter argument to that because you should be defending your idea. It's like you have no idea how debating works.

Thank you for proving my point that this would be mentioned in this thread... and that you did not contribute in the slightest to the main topic that was to be discussed.
It's a meaningless point to make. You still don't have an actual argument.

if you actually did something with out negative feedback it would be one thing, but we give our negative feed back AND NOTHING CHANGES.
Actually plenty changes based on feedback from both roles. The problem you're having is that the changes aren't always exactly to your liking. Or you think with a big enough outcry the devs are obligated to listen to whatever a group of people are demanding. Fortunately that's not how things work.
-
"I am aware gates can spawn on the same side. And yes, I'm aware someone's going to say, "but you think Moris are fine" and/or "killer main" (I am killer main btw) so I'll just steal your thunder in advance."
Just so you know, simply mentioning that you know an argument exists without actually countering that argument does not "steal anyone's thunder."
-
Exit gates can literally spawn on the same wall in sight of each other. Regressing is not necessary and would make that even worse.
-
I mean you can do whatever you want to do. I feel like you know that, though.
-
I feel like people who get warnings or bans probably deserve it most of the time. I'm not exactly the nicest person on these forums and I haven't received a warning. Maybe I've slipped under the radar, though..

As a PSA the term "Willful Ignorance" is deemed as an insult "You're saying so and so is ignorant" even "though the term was originally—and still is—used in legal contexts, the phrase "willful ignorance" has come to mean any situation in which people intentionally turn their attention away from an ethical problem that is believed to be important by those using the phrase (for instance, because the problem is too disturbing for people to want it dominating their thoughts, or from the knowledge that solving the problem would require extensive effort)."

I expect to be banned before March lol
Wouldn't it depend if you were using it as an insult, tho? Developmentally delayed is a medical term but depending on the context can be insulting. Are you claiming that you were having a discussion about the law with somebody? Or did you use a legal term as an insult?

Where are the mobile forums?

By all means enjoy your long queue times, 3 minute matches, and bully simulator
Do you guys go to like a meeting where you go over a script? You literally see the same things in every topic about Ruin. At least come up with an argument.
-
Dedicated servers have been a big improvement for me on PS4. Much more stable connection. Only a bit of lag every 20 or so matches.

That one, i think it's called Anxious Gasp, that just grants some extra BP...
It feels like they just completely ran out of ideas for the last Add-on.
I don't think add ons that give extra BP are a bad thing. I love them on Wraith, Myers and Trapper. But they also have plenty of other great add ons. I never play the Nurse so idk about her.
-
The gens could repair slower until one of the following happens:
- 2 minutes pass
- 2 survivors are put in the dying state
- any survivor is slugged for more than 30 seconds
Whichever comes first. The exact times and quantities can be tweaked but all the conditions are to prevent abuse and make it so if a killer is very good or the survivors are bad then they don't get as much as a boost/penalty because they don't need it.
-
Wraith: The Ghost - Soot and Coxcombed Clapper. The Wraith is all about surprise first hits, IMO, and this can virtually guarantee them in many scenarios. Also a great way to get grabs. The biggest counter is Spine Chill but if they're not paying attention or if they think you're further away than you are, you can still get them easily.
Add in Nurse's Calling and it can be a brutal match. Edit: And Sloppy Butcher, duh!
-
It's just not a priority, I imagine.

I strongly agree with your points, and yes, the thread is biased towards killers. However, I simply didn't have a screenshot/video to argue the survivor's side of things.
Really, all I want is to have both sides at least safety pip in the event of a DC. From the first post it seemed you were attacking me for making any argument at all, which is why I got defensive.
I can see how it comes across as an attack. I apologize. Sometimes I type a message out real quick between matches and don't think it through all the way.
I think they need to rework how DCs affect both sides because they're a pain in the ass for everyone.
-
Yes, great perk. Makes Self Care take literally forever and that doesn't stop a lot of survivors from doing it anyway.

I never said everyone was not punished in my argument.
I can only form arguments in the case of the games I play or other games that people record/stream. If I played a game as a survivor and had most of the team DC, then I'd argue the case that survivors get punished for DCing. In this case, the group was a SWF that DCed so one of their teammates could get the hatch. What am I supposed to do?
Sorry for only being able to speak/argue from my perspective.
First, even if only one survivor DCs unless the killer is bad or the remaining three are God like and the killer is only okay, then those 3 survivors are done for. You don't need "most" survivors to DC for there to be an effect.
Second, if you regularly have a survivor DC as a killer then you should know how much it screws over the other survivors. Why do you think DCs and suicides on hook snowball? Because nobody wants to play a 3 man game, never mind a 2 man.
When people only consider things from their perspective, that's how bias is made.
-
On the contrary, I don't see this to be true at all.
See how that works?
-
Because it's a strong perk that needs more of a counter than sprinting to a locker every 30 seconds
-
Everyone is punished when anyone DCs. Stop focusing on me, me, me.

Does Corrupt Intervention stop, or legitimately hinder 3 survivors sitting on 3 gens while I chase survivor number 4? No, not at all.
What does it do? It moves survivors from the gen they start near to a different gen, and as soon as I'm chasing someone the game is literally no different in terms of pace.
What is the result? All the blocked gens, which are at the 3 furthest points from where I started which 99% of the time means incredibly split up are left the end, guaranteeing a bad late-game setup for me, and a perfect situation for survivors.
I find CI an active disadvantage as nearly every killer.
Then don't chase a survivor to the far end of the map, allowing the other 3 to freely work on middle gens?
-
Rarely and only if I'm making a build out of it (Quick and Quiet, Inner Strength, Head On and Dance With Me/Small Game/etc).
It's neat when it works but IME it's unreliable.
-
Nah. It's not a bad perk but I don't like stressing about whether or not I'm making the most out of it. If I don't down the unhooker I feel like I've wasted a perk slot.
-
It's incredible how everybody attributes this to the newest changes. This has been going on for quite some time. Queue times regularly vary between 1 and 10 minutes depending on whether there's an event, a new patch, new DLC, rank reset, etc, etc. They will pick up again for the mid chapter release, then lull in a couple weeks or so until chapter 14.
Every single patch there's some change that will finally be the one to kill dbd and send killers away in droves! The victimhood will never change.

Where you not around when balanced landing was nerfed or self care ? You didn't see how big survivors threw a fit
I remember survivors saying BL is dead and they're not gonna use it anymore. Maybe a couple overly dramatic posts. Not at all like "Me and all my killer main friends are going to play Last Year because dbd devs hate killers!!! Enjoy your 30 minute queues. But also before i go I'm using all my moris and irridescent hatchets!! 😤😤😤"

Good god, it's a video game. Get a hold of yourself. If Bhvr is worse than your president then you must have a great president considering the state of the world right now.
-
I can't stand him. I roll my eyes every time I see a match is against him. At least 50% of matches he will camp the first hook and as a solo player I have to pray my teammates aren't idiots and go for a save and/or selfish and suicide on the hook. He's neither fun to play as or against, IMO, and his strengths promote toxic and unfun play styles.
Plus he introduced BBQ and Franklin's into the game. Not OP perks now that they have counters but they're obnoxious to play against. I love bringing a brown toolbox, green key or yellow flashlight with no add ons to bait the killer into bringing Franklin's, though.

Congrats!

Agreed, you are.

The only thing keeping this niche perk afloat was the presence of Ruin skill checks. Now that they're gone, I don't see any reason to use Stake Out. It has a precondition to activate, and all it does it turn a good skill check into a great.
Not sure how to buff it, but it officially belongs in the bin with the likes of Deja Vu, Monstrous Shrine, and their dozens of friends.
Can we please can get around to fixing the heaping pile of worthless perks? I'd rather buff the trash than nerf the few decent ones.
A good buff would be to award double progress if you hit a great skill check when you have a token available.

You don't seem to understand.
If Ruin makes it to the late game its all over. Survivors are as good as dead.
How is that related to this topic? Don't derail others' threads with your "woe is me, killers are dead" shtick.

considering how fast gens can be done yes that is fair :p and pgtw only does 25% no where near 50%
PGTW = 25% + his Ruin suggestion (15%) = 40%
-
So you think a single kick should be able to remove almost half of a gen PLUS it regresses at x2 speed.
Seems totally fair.
-
Rarely. Only when I'm doing end game builds or when I don't have anything better unlocked. It's a good perk but too situational. Especially as a solo player.
-
I used to use it but it's too latency dependent. I think it's a good perk but it needs tweaking.
-
Rarely. It's a very good perk but unless I'm doing a BP or altruism build it doesn't make it into my load out.
-
Sometimes. It depends on what else I have. It's not one of my top picks but it is a very good perk
-
Except he got several very good buffs
-
Yes, I love it. One of the best killer perks
-
Attacking the character of the devs (people you know nothing about personally) as well as making weird references to where they're from, is probably the fastest way to get your "feedback" completely disregarded.

I mean if all the killer mains quit enjoy the 25-30 minute que time for a 5 minute long genrush game or the killer beats the crap out of you with moris and noed. its fun for everyone!
Fortunately not all killer mains are self-made victims. There's also *gasp* players that play both sides!

Maybe this is a meta build, but it's unusual and I like it.
Lightborn, Agitation, Iron Grasp and Mad Grit.
Nothing like bearing down on a Survivor while carrying who has a flashlight aimed right in your face and hitting them anyway.
I'm always excited to see a fellow Mad Grit user. Underrated perk!
