well looks like u got the typical rank 1 potato like monto always gets in his vids. i only get the survivors true always gets.
Lol typical. If the killer wins then the survivors are potatoes. If the survivors win it's because they're OP.

Red ranks as survivor. Queue time about 3 minutes.
Game 1: Doc, rank 1, 4k.
Game 2: Doc, rank 9, 4k.
Game 3: Doc, rank 11, 3k with hatch escape.
Edit:
Game 4: Doc, rank 5, 2k.
Game 5: Legion, rank 5, 4k.
Game 6: Doctor, rank 9, 4k.
Game 7: Huntress, rank 6, 4k.
Final game of the day: Billy, rank 8, 1k.
So out of 8 games so far only 6 survivors escaped. 3 of them were me. That makes a kill rate of just over 72%. My survival rate is 37.5%.

You kidding? I've been pipping faster than ever it's crazy easy to win as survivor now.
I've never escaped this much before. I am getting out even solo in a majority of my matches because the ones with new ruin are easier than old matches where there was no ruin.
How many matches have you played? The update released barely over an hour ago including the time it takes to update and you're acting like you've had time to play 10-15 matches. Even IF that were the case, it's gonna take a lot more than one hour of data to figure out what needs to change.
-
I am loving the 3 minute queues today, thanks!
-
No lol. Two Doctor 4ks in a row so far in red ranks. Me as survivor.
-
I believe they've fixed this before. It keeps coming back for some reason

Timer add-ons would have to be stronger than what Tampered Timer currently is if you want to actually make it so the Trap has even a small chance to kill. Increasing search time would only work if they are also stronger than the current Gear add-ons, but then you risk making it too easy to just scare someone off a Box without compromising too much gen pressure. Box spawning further apart would probably do little except on giant maps; it would probably be similar to how Mirror Myers is only feasible on indoor maps. The Ultra Rare sounds not very good with your proposed set up.
I feel like unless you really crank up the add-ons, you risk making the RBTs far too ineffective at killing (and they already don't do that too often, albeit for good reason).
Yes, I meant buffing the current add ons. I've put like 2 minutes thought into it. I'm sure the devs could figure out something better than the current system

So just because you couldn’t purchase them in the past means you should never be allowed to purchase them in the future? But also what’s wrong with making them earnable during this event?
Do we really have to rehash this yet again? The devs have made their decision. Move on.

So true. I’ve played 2 matches so far in purple after update and both doctors camped tunneled and/or slugged. Ugh.
And I played in one against a rank 1 Doctor and ranks 2-3 survivors and he 4k'd without camping or tunneling and only slugging like twice. 🤷♀️
-
This, but unironically.

How do you ensure that the Traps still have some chance (even if small) of actually killing, though?
The add ons would be focused on decreasing timer, increasing length of time it takes to search, making the boxes spawn further apart.. Maybe an ultra that makes the RBTs start counting down once the survivor is unhooked instead of needing a gen to activate it.
-
I suggested this the other day:
"What if, instead of the key being in a random jigsaw box, there are 2 keys you need to get and you can get one out of any box. Her ultra rare add on could require you to get 3 keys. This gets rid of edge cases where Pig gets screwed because you get it off in the first try or you get screwed because you need to search 4 or 5 boxes."
-
Do killers need to get good? No they need old Ruin back.

I accidentally had my game volume up to 100 on my headphones when I hooked her... It wasn't fun
CAN YOU HEAR ME?

I've been maining her and her scream makes my speakers crackle. Even when I have the volume on 20.

Exactly.
But as others have mentioned, they were Twitch challenges that people could host and play. You would link your Twitch account and join a challenge, then play the game and earn emblems to get points. The person who got the most points by the time the challenge ended won. It wasn't used much, so rather than continuing to support it, we decided it was best to shut it down and focus our efforts on other features and avoid confusion.
I used it. :( Can you bring it back for me? Then I'll always be the winner!

Pretty sure the Spirit hate has died down. People have moved on to Billy hate.
You guys are really pushing that narrative, huh?

I heard survivors que times were hitting 30min +
Same 5-10 minutes on ps4.

Peanits specifically said they like to push patches early in the week so if something goes wrong they can fix it that week or early next week. They're more than likely not gonna release it Thursday.

Most of the talk about Hillbilly nerfs seems to come from killer mains lol.
I hope he does get a bit of a nerf though.

For me, Noed can be
- Not a Hex, its a normal perk
- Has 3 tokens, a hit on Healthy Survivor takes 1 token.
Lol that's a massive buff. No.

I just don't understand why you wouldn't spend them as you earned them.

Because ruin is not a simple change, it destroys the gameplay for almost all killers, that have no map pressure whatsoever. Toxic behaviour will even more common in games now, that's exactly how people react, when they feel scammed.
Did I mention Ruin in my post? No.
-
This forum is filled with people who seem to devote their lives to DBD and any change they don't like is considered a personal attack by the devs. It's very cringey.
-
I bet they are shaking in their boots now. Take THAT, Bhvr!!
-
It's not coming back. Get to the hatch first
-
Making a blanket statement not to nerf anything isn't realistic. Especially when nerfs usually come with some buffs, too. Also I don't think maining one side or the other makes your opinion about anything any more valid or meaningful. Balancing this game is complex. Both sides need nerfs and buffs in certain areas.
-
Good one. You can't even quote me.

Get rid of the terror radius and spine chill
Ah so you don't want a balanced game, I see.

She sucks now, basically. The nerf really hurt her.
This is why it's so hard to take many killer mains' complaints seriously. Spirit is still a top tier killer. She's just bugged atm.

No.

So what your saying is that killer's should be punished for being killer's? I'm not gonna keep track of 60s while I chase 2 other survivor's. Not only that survivor's tend tyo DC when they are slugged
It's not being "punished." It's using a perk. Stop playing victim.

@MigrantTheGreat said:

When did I ever say anything about somebody being slugged?
If you don't want to get hit by DS then you slug them... Hence two on a hook and one slugged but for you that situation isn't good enough lol
-
@MigrantTheGreat said:
I would simply make it to where the perk becomes active if the survivor is rescued when the killer is x meter's away from the hook. As a Nurse main, I can literally hook 2 other survivor's within 1 minutes and still get punished by DS for doing what a killer is suppose to do. Even if the killer doesn't tunnel survivor's will go out of there way to burn the perk just to get a free unhook etc.
So in that scenario you'd have two on the hook and one slugged and you're still complaining.
-
Nah.
-
Epic bait bro!
-
Plague, Clown and Nurse when she wears her biohazard cosmetic. Toxic af.
-
Oh and that's 10-15 minutes of actual gameplay, not 10 minutes of gameplay and then 5 of the survivors refusing to open the gate and tbagging the killer or the killer slugging the last survivor and letting him bleed out/get eaten by the Entity.
-
10 to 15 minutes is an ideal game length IMO. The matches that drag on to 20-25 minutes are rarely fun.
-
I'd say Spirit, Ghostface and Freddy would be my first three. They are the funnest while still being very strong, IMO. If you want more of a challenge while still having fun powers and add ons then I'd go for Wraith, Myers and Hag. They are deadly in the right hands. Not as easily accessible as the first three, but a ton of fun when you figure them out, especially because their add ons drastically alter the strengths of their power and what you can do with them.

Actually he had a game that shouldn't have punished him for playing well with horrible mechanics such as "no gen hatch".
You can literally go afk in a corner and spin in circles to avoid crows doing absolutely nothing the whole match just to get an escape at the end because....sure why not.
That's not true at all. You need to move a certain distance to avoid crows. You certainly cannot spin in circles.
-
"Every game it seems that im being dropped to 2 or 3 gens withing the first 5-7 minutes of the game."
What? How long do you think it should take to do 2 or 3 gens? 5-7 minutes is not even remotely fast for 3 gens, never mind 2! If my team hasn’t gotten 2 gens done by 7 minutes then I pretty much accept that only 1 or 2 of us are getting out at most.
If 2 gens haven't been done by 5 minutes that we probably have no chance at all at that point. That would mean either the killer is applying so much pressure we can't get gens done, survivors are overly focused on totems, rituals or altruism or somebody is missing skill checks left and right.
-
Why the complete lack of details here? What platform, what time of day, killer or survivor, did you ever try canceling the search or closing the app and trying again or did you stare at the same screen for 2 hours?
-
Nah Blood Warden does not need a buff. It's very situational because if it wasn't it would be too powerful, especially combined with certain perks. Let's not forget that this is an end game perk, aka insurance. If you're relying on it to secure kills it's because you were unable to get those kills before a gate was opened. That needs to be balanced very delicately. And the idea of "queuing up" BW for any hook in end game is over the top powerful.
If people think DS and NOED are second chance perks then Blood Warden is a third chance perk.
-
Let me just use all the pallets in the first 2 minutes of the match so there's none left for end game.
-
Wraith is very good and my favorite killer to play as. I like that people underestimate him, though. Let them get comfortable 😏

Yes. They sleep upside down hanging from the tree, or from the ceiling of the slaughterhouse. It's weird how you'd call a building where cows sleep a slaughterhouse, though.
