All of them. :) Hardest for me was Demogorgon.
Since you're switching to MMR based matchmaking will it be possible to make getting the adept trophies easier for killers? Not necessarily as simple as a 4k like it used to be, but right now I find getting adept to be extremely difficult.

Survivors: All of them
Killers: Trapper, Wraith, Doctor, Myers, Spirit, Legion

This post is pretty delusional. Survivors went from literally impossible to beat to having the game still heavily favor them even after tons of nerfs. Not to mention the introduction of all the 2nd chance perks and improvements to flashlights that have been seen.
The removal of near instant blinds is an improvement?
-
Haddonfield needs breakable fences. So tired of getting trapped by a mile long fence
-
I really liked the first two and appreciated the improvements they made. I beat those in 2-3 days. It's been over a week now and I haven't even bothered to complete the first challenge in level 3. Level 3 is boring, time consuming and just a slog.
-
You'd think a Huntress main with a Devour Hope forum icon would know the answer to this

I've played about 14 hours of the PTB. Bullying this killer. It's not a "jumping to conclusion" situation. It's based purely off experience.
He needs a buff. He's only really good on his own map, and maybe (surprisingly) Haddonfield. Other than that, he's weak to pallets...like...good luck with him on Blood Lodge or Wreckers yard. OOF.
Why are you bullying killers? What exactly are you doing?

"unbreakable chain" lmao.
2 days and you people already asking for nerfs, give the guy a chance.
Ironic since people were saying he was weak and asking for buffs within an hour of release.

Can you make it so the harpoon can go through breakable walls? 😁

that other game companies have taken the approach of removing "post-game chat" because of player behavior?
Can I safely suggest that you simply hide the chat?

nah fam you all got it twisted and putting hypotheticals on the webs. If a killer deserves a kill ill give it to him. When he slugs the whole team just because he can and he knows we will get penalties if we DC thas not okay and ONE of the MANY instances im referencing which has already occurred since they placed the matchmaking lock on console.
They need to put a matchmaking lock if you DC more than once within the same hour... 👍️
The only scenarios in which a killer does not deserve a kill are when a. he is cheating or exploiting or b. working with other survivors.
-
Simply close it.
-
It took about two months and 4 or 5 emails before I got it. Once I got a response from customer service I got it within days but for the first 6 or 7 weeks it was complete radio silence. I definitely will not be buying anything from the store again.

What about if you literally can't run DBD on medium? The lag I get on medium is game breaking for me.
He's already explained it's a bug they intend to fix

They're not.

I thought they were buffing repair speeds?

Significantly reduced charges, some amount increased repair speed. Sadly I can't get the actual numbers for the speed changes. Seems like everything got a change except the repair speed add-ons and BNP.
Thank you so much!!

You use it as a distraction I believe.

Hey can you explain what's changed with toolbox charges and their add ons?

I swear it's like people sit around gleefully waiting for things to complain about

I can think of 2 scenarios:
1) The person who came up with this challenge is not in touch with the game & the playerbase.
2) The person is well aware and knowingly decides to go through with this challenge anyway.
Is there a scenario 3?
3. They are actually from the future or an alternate reality where keys have been significantly nerfed and somehow they fell into a portal or time machine and haven't realized it yet

Imagine not just waiting another few hours to see if you're anywhere close to being right before posting a bunch of wild speculation.

@Peanits slept through his alarm so they canceled the PTB for today. Nobody else knows how to post it. Thanks a lot!!

It's so satisfying to run mad grit. And my favorite part is when the survivor on your back is like "fine, I commit backpack" and you're running around like "Vrooooom"
Yes, I love it! Especially since nobody ever expects you to be running it haha

but again, I would like ot stress that it merely takes a few seconds, you would know that hook is gone very soon anyway partly because it cant be 99'd.
Idk it just seems like as useless a perk as it ever was, better to just run Iron Grasp or Agitation so you can run for another hook and have better general use out of it as well.
I mean, are you going to run it? because im guessing nope.avi.
You only have 16 seconds to get to a hook. Wasting 3-5 seconds going to one hook just to find out it's being sabotaged then you have to switch directions to a further hook. Hangman's trick will eliminate that waste of time.
Also yes I'll definitely use it in a hook build at least part of the time. My icon is Mad Grit for a reason. Overly altruistic survivors are my favorite part of playing killer.
-
I have stressful matches here and there as killer but I really do not experience the high level of stress that's talked about here on the forums. It's like two separate realities. I get more stressed out playing survivor because things like I get spotted 10 seconds into the match or my teammate does and runs the killer over to me so the killer then targets me or my teammates just generally suck or the killer is a hardcore camper or tunneler with an ebony mori, etc, etc.
Even if I have a bad match as killer I usually get a ton of BP and queues are near instant so I'm onto the next one immediately.
With survivor queues can be 5-7 minutes long, probably 1 out of every 5 games somebody gets disconnected in the loading screen so the match gets canceled, and I get multiple lobby errors which extend the queue times. Then I finally get into a game and I barely make 5k BP because the killer camped and I got hook farmed and then instantly morid or hooked again.
-
The notification from Hangman's Trick tells you instantly which hook not to go to. It would be a bad idea to try to beat them to it unless you were literally feet away from striking distance.
-
Yeah Hag is really hurting and needs the buff 🙄

Killer gate opening animation is just them swinging.
That doesn't really need a whole new animation though. I like to think of it as them short circuiting the switch

Here I will be that guy. Who wants to bet when the killer breaks a wall while someone is in struggle on the hook the fps drops and they die.
You know what would work wonders for this? Making it so you don't have to mash a ######### button for 60 seconds 😁
Like come on. If bhvr can take the time to add a completely new mechanic to the game like breakable walls then why can't they make a simple QoL change that people have been asking for years?
-
I think it'll be a good change. We'll see though

Why are people shocked by this?

Not cleansing it, or just playing safe on pallet loops for the next 60 seconds rather than trying to milk out every possible bit of value and dying for it.
"Baiting it out" only counters Dead Hard if they're using it to dodge hits.
If they're using it to cover distance to a pallet, there is no counterplay.
Except for one hit downs, exhaustion add ons and perks, and catching them out of position. Sometimes the pallet rng will favor them but that doesn't mean you're helpless. You can lead them in a certain direction. There's also been plenty of situations where I or someone else DH past a pallet and still get hit as we're throwing it down.

@Bard said:

It's pretty much on the head.
Dead Hard buys you +1 health state per chase.
Haunted Ground applies -1 health state.
The difference is that you can counter Haunted Ground, while a Dead Hard for distance can only be countered by exhaustion add-ons.
What is the counter to Haunted Grounds? Not cleansing it? Ok so you leave Ruin or potentially Devour Hope up. If somebody else cleanses it, which you have no control over, then there's now an additional totem for NOED you have to find.
I'm not saying Haunted Grounds is very strong. But not cleansing it is not a realistic counter the majority of the time. Unless you and your SWF notice there's no ongoing hex effect AND you know there's two lit totems.
The counter to Dead Hard is baiting it out, catching the survivor out of position so they can't use it to reach a pallet, or using perks or add ons that cause exhaustion. If you're a killer with the ability to one hit down then DH is often made completely useless.

The anti DC penalty crowd is reaaaally grasping for straws now.

No, I mean total in the game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1098522#Comment_1098522
Kinda like ruin? Or nurse? Dead hard denies a down, which the equivalent would be an insta down for killer. How would you feel like haunted grounds went off every time a totem got cleansed, no matter if it was dull or not?
Haunted Grounds is not a good comparison at all.
And calling Nurse bad shows you don't understand the game.

It's all right. Not my favorite. I hate the lack of windows though

This is the reason many people don't take mental illnesses seriously. PTSD is not a joke. IF you have it, it is not because of DBD. And if playing DBD is affecting your health then you can simply.. stop playing. 🤦♀️
-
You are really reaching here.
-
No, killers should not be able to have any effect on completed gens. They are completed. You failed to prevent them from completing it.
That's like giving survivors a perk that gives them 4 hooks till death instead of 3.
