At the very least, Ruin 1 should not be a Hex Perk.
So tier 1 of Hex: Ruin should not be a hex? But tiers 2 and 3 should be? How does that make sense?

Was it a bad idea though?
What happened afterwards? A massive exodus of killer mains, and from what I recall on the Steam forums, games were flying by, Red Ranked survivors were depipping even after escaping because matches were not lasting.
The response to this? Maps were reworked. So many resources wasted because Ruin was nerfed.
It all started with the Ruin nerf. It was a domino effect.
Again, my theory.
Huh?
1. Where is your proof of a mass exodus of killers?
2. Maps needed to be reworked. They were not reworked BECAUSE of Ruin being nerfed. Even if they were.. that would mean Ruin was nothing more than a band aid to a much larger problem. Regardless, the end result is better. Maps being fairer is better in the long run for everyone rather than keeping a ######### unfun perk like old Ruin.
3. Resources WASTED? But the map rework was necessary and good. How is that a waste? It's the biggest, most positive change they've done to the game since EGC.
-
Seems like it would ultimately be a waste of time. I personally would not want to have to do that every match
-
Trails of Torment would be insane lol. 45 seconds is such a long time. Also no cool down? AND you move faster? Way too strong.
Forced Penance doesn't need hindered. I like adding oblivious to it, however.
-
They might be testing the new system

While I agree, this forum is for the pc and console versions. The mobile team doesn’t come here

Yeah a lot of the time I'll see a post I really like but I don't want to respond just to say "I agree!" so I just upvote them. Would be kind of nice to be able to see but I guess not necessary

What really annoys me is it seem like a small group of FNAF fans got together and decided to coordinate a bunch of pro FNAF posts on the forum. There was one post about it every so often and then in the past few days it's all over the damn front page. It should be in OFF TOPIC.
But, as others have said, they are not good games. There are so many better games and movies and hell even books or TV shows that I would rather see the devs spend money on than FNAF.

What a toxic thing to say 😤😤😉

No thanks.

Your first post on the forums, and this is what you choose to say? Lol. Not even a hello.
So rude, right?! 😤

Same. Plenty of people do totems. It's just that there's no way of knowing all 5 are done unless you search the entire map and personally cleanse or see all totems cleansed. Or you have a 4 man swf. And most people don't play with 3 friends.
But if one totem was missed NOED triggers and some people's immediate response is "wow no one did totems!"

Just off the top of my head let me see:
Forcing a hook grab(Getting grabbed while unhooking a teammate. Easily able to be done with sprint burst + Borrowed time) so you can not only stun the killer but get both you and the person on the hook away from the killer.
Going into a locker and staying in against anyone but the trapper sense the killer has to eat the DS, leave, or stall anyway you put it its a free escape or prolonged stall.
Working on a gen during the time after healing so the killer has to lunge twice(Letting you rush the gen and get time to get away) or do a gen grab which will get them DSed.
At this point I mainly play survivor but these situations aren't hard to think up of and if your paying attention in games with perks like kindred you'd see these stunts being pulled in about ~ once every 3 games even in the current chapter.
Also keep in mind that a single DS can cost the killer the game at higher ranks so any of these situations can out right win the survivors the game from DS.
Yeah, that's not abuse. That's called using the perk.

That or the survivor went into a locker which forces a grab or the killer to leave? Either way the survivor gets away because of DS.
Also you speak as if DS isn't one of the most easily abused perks in the entire game.
How does one "abuse" DS?

Ds is one of the strongest survivor perks in the game. Just because you dont get hit by hit doesnt mean the perk is bad.
Didn't say it was bad, just think it's overrated.
-
Nah, I think they'll keep it. Nobody's getting banned for tunneling or camping.
-
Is it more efficient not to run it? I tend to think so. I don't think it has really anything to do with intelligence, though.
-
It's very possible because bots are in the mobile version. If a survivor or killer DCs then a bot takes over.
Bhvr have repeatedly said they're not really interested in doing it though, unfortunately. Even if the bots are dumb AF it would still be nice to test out perks/powers.
-
Pop. Very good survivors will split up as much as possible so you may never get any decent use out of Discordance. With Pop you should nearly always get several good uses.
Discordance is still a good perk overall but Pop is much more likely to tip the odds in your favor.
-
Glad I'm not the only one lol. It sucks that there's really no way to know for sure it didn't spawn.
-
It's really not that great of a perk. Can't remember the last time I was hit by it as killer
-
I'd rather 100% more BP overall. There aren't enough ways to earn survival BP
-
The only problem I have is that we should be able to see ALL challenges from the start, even if they are locked. People need to be able to make informed decisions about their purchase
-
I think a million gets you to around 35, so probably about 500k?
-
55 or 56. I'll probably spend some of the auric cells on a few tiers at the end but we'll see

That's how survivors make us feel when they gen rush us to death, even if we use all of the game delay perks.
Except we're trying to get away from you! Opposite of smothering. 😓

I hear ya and agree, I doubt its even fixed by mid event. There seems to be something wrong that is not an easy fix.
I was being sarcastic in that its probably celebrated like USA does St Patricks Day, people just go party and get drunk LOL
Every drink is a recognition of the late, great St Patrick. He would have wanted it this way, that old boozehound!

@Divine_Confetti Thank you. I missed this. But, seeing as it's the 25th for me, abit 1:30 am, and I only have the hat, I guess it's at a certain time for the jacket to unlock?
Probably 11am Eastern. That's when the daily bloodpoint bonus would reset
-
It's ironic that you tell him to work for his cosmetic when you got yours for free.
Not that I'm saying he has a point, I'm just saying neither do you.

I've found more from chests in game than bloodwebs

Thanks for the tips everyone! Time to dump some BP in her bloodwebs!

She's a fun Killer. I was in the same boat as you, didn't like her that much at first but checked her out later and I ended up really liking her. I use BBQ, Pop, Thana, and Dying Light with the add-ons Black Incense and Vile Emetic:
- BBQ is a good perk in general. Extra BPs plus information.
- Pop helps Plague with gen pressure. If Survivors are that scared of getting sick, they'll let the gen continue to regress while they look for one that you haven't infected.
- Thanatophobia works really good because how often you'll have Survivors injured. This helps a lot against teams that want to stay injured and pump out gens.
- Dying Light's Obsession healing bonus can mean nothing to Plague because of her power. You can have extra slowdown while not having to worry about faster heals. If the Survivors do cleanse to keep their fast heals, you can use your Corrupt Purge and become a 115% Huntress. Even a low number of stacks works out since it stacks with Thanatophobia. You can easily have a 20% slowdown for a good portion of the game.
- Black Incense gives you a lot of information. You'll be finding Survivors left and right with this add-on.
- Vile Emetic breaks Survivors faster, which is always a good thing. Shortens the chase and gets Thana and Black Incense to activate sooner.
If you somehow can't tell by now, my build hates injured Survivors. Slowdown from Thana + DL combo and information through Black Incense. If you want, you could replace BBQ or Pop with Sloppy and not need to use your power to make the DL obsession bonus useless. Sloppy + Thana = no healing bonus.
Oohh I hadn't even considered Dying Light on her. That's devious. Great idea, thanks!
-
Happy medium: make it 10 seconds across all tiers and give it a secondary effect
-
That's not even much of a difference in DBD. Especially considering how easy it is to hit red ranks as survivor.
-
To everyone saying "if survivors didn't need to escape they'd just suicide," the solution is fairly simple: in order to earn your crown you need to repair for the equivalent of one gen or 1.5 gens. They might suicide after that but at least they'd contribute to the objective for the other survivors first.
As it is now I've seen survivors do next to nothing to contribute to gens or unhooks and they try to play the hatch game. There's no perfect solution to any of this.
-
Because there are soooo many better games and movies to get to first.
-
Why doesn't Claudette "deserve" it? What does that even mean?

Yeah, sure. "Good people on both sides" and all that.
Imagine comparing a multiplayer game to what the US president said about neo nazis. Definitely not a troll, though.

I understand they are trying to make it pretty easy to get them hence the killer requirement simply being acquire and finish the game with a crown. For survivors they don't want to encourage any one particular part of the gameplay except finishing the game. I agree it's not the right solution but I'm not sure on a better one yet. Maybe giving a large point boost for surviving with it but still giving the cosmetic even if you die? To incentive trying to survive with it but not requiring it.
I like your solution. 👍
