Yeah I don't see the point in not letting us straight up delete stuff we don't want.
-
Killers are already 10 to 15% faster by default. That's not including powers that make you faster. You do not need to increase their speed even further.
I would possibly be okay to repair speed decreases but in no way should healing take even ######### longer. Nor should sabotage, which is near useless 90% of the time.

Sad that survivor mains in this thread all admitting they can't play the game without their cheats.
Nice bait.

Yes she's great. If you learn her now with her bug you'll be even better once they fix it.

While BBQ has Aura Reading, it is not that useful on many Killers. Killers like Nurse, Billy, Spirit can make something out of it, Hag or Trapper not so much.
But I would not consider WGLF really that often used. People use it, but not as frequently as BBQ is being used. Besides that, if you want to have more BPs, you should have to sacrifice a Perk Slot for this.
What a load of crap. Every killer can make great use of BBQ.
-
It's not necessary. The game isn't supposed to be a gore fest. And I'm not sure it's even possible. Maybe DBD 2.
-
Somebody call OSHA. Or Canada's equivalent.
-
Sound is important in this game. What if one theme was quieter? I think that's an unfair advantage.
-
More toxic survivors than killers? It's almost as if there are 4 times as many of them!

Yes, actually.
Play lots of high rank killer gameplay against good SWFs. It's not a fun experience. Games that are not fun, aren't worth playing. Fixing SWF to not be so frustrating isn't some ridiculous or ludicrous request.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/446984#Comment_446984
Or you know, they could start finally evening the power between solos and SWFs and buffing killers accordingly to make it less frustrating and overpowered to face SWFs.
If the game was originally balanced with VOIP in mind, and now there's VOIP, common sense dictates that they should balance with VOIP in mind.
Nothing they could do to buff solo players would be as effective as direct communication and coordination. And you know what the solo buffs would do? Also buff SWF. Buff the cases with 3 SWF and 1 solo. Buff 2 SWF teams. Etc.

This is a serious complaint? And you really think pallets shouldn't stun him? Rofl.

if the killers and survivors are evenly skilled generally 3-4 escape... take the best killer in the world against a good SWF team and he’s not getting them. Escaping should be a Woohoo moment not expectation
People say that all the time and yet there's no way to prove it. How would you even know if killers and survivors are evenly matched? Rank is not a good indicator. So you're going on a gut feeling.
Very few people will admit that they're just not that great at the game or that there are survivors who are better at it than them. It's always that the balance is off, perks are OP, some thing's broken.
-
Yeah it's really a nuisance that the game requires some effort and skill from the killer.
-
I mean you're being a little disingenuous. Knowing the approximate location of the killer or another survivor is not the same as seeing their aura.
I'm not sure what your point is. A team that communicates well will do well? So what's the solution? Buff killers until everyone is forced to play SWF because solo survivor is suicide? Remove SWF because sometimes killers lose, making it so friends can't play together and thus losing a massive chunk of the player base?
-
And Pharmacy should get a slight buff or change. Like what if you could only get medkits out of chests with it. A rare one on the first search then regular odds on all other searches.
-
I think it should have the same speed and increase and quieter searching as Pharmacy
-
I also forgot to say that when you fast vault out of a second floor window with Lithe, you waste a good chunk of your burst of speed.
-
Lithe has a ton of places it can be used on every map.
BL has a few great maps for it and plenty with very few drops. BUT BL has a use even when in exhaustion. 75% reduced stun could save you for sure. It also doesn't require a loud noise notification to trigger if you don't want to use it in a chase. Not a big deal, but it's something to consider.
Overall I think BL is better.
-
That's absurd. To compensate for this they would need to buff all killers to top tier.
-
@Akuma said:
Yea. And there should be only 5 gens instead of 7 because you know how to balance and develop a good game.
Are you kidding? 5 gens is OP. Survivors should need to repair 6 but only 1 spawns every 15 minutes.

I only have one rule to be honest; Body blocking = face camp.
To hell with the rest of the game, to hell with rank and pipping, to hell with the rest of the survivors.
Teabagging/taunting....I don't care, you think it annoys me? I swear to you, it really doesn't. Makes me chuckle sometimes actually. It's just you wasting time, allowing either me to get closer or you're not repairing gens. Either way is fine with me.
Flashlights....part of the game, blind me all game if you want. Guess I should have taken "Lightborne".
Perks...DS, MoM, Adrenaline, ALL part of the game.
Looping....again, I played before bloodlust and Entity windows being blocked. having survived serious window juking...it's part of the game.
No, for me, body blocking is the biggest single immersion breaker. I feel 100% confident that if asked:
Is body blocking by survivors part of the design of the game, to be used as part of a strategy by survivors, or is it an unintended consequence of the collision physics in game.
The answer would be "unintended". The developers just can't find a better solution, or don't care about the issue as much as I do. Obviously they could remove collision....happens when a killer hits a survivor. The killer goes into a "weapon pause" animation, which phases the killer out of the world for those few seconds...BUT you kind of need collision to hit survivors. I'm rambling now, bot short of a direct quote from a developer....nothing will have me believe that the devs are fine with fearless survivors running up to the killer with every intention of just standing there.
That's okay. Continue to get flustered over a very effective strategy. It only helps your opponents.
-
Probably because a single use of Diversion takes 45 seconds.

How would dedicated servers increase the hit box size?

Bamboozle should be able to block pallets on Legion

If you lost a survivor after breaking a pallet, then it's because that survivor stopped looping and juked you. Looping, by definition, is just wasting as much of the killer's time as possible, with no intention of actually winning the chase.
Lol you are the king of semantics. This is why I don't debate you.
-
Considering they'll want to see how the numbers do during the event I highly doubt that. I bet they don't do ban waves near events or new DLCs. Just a guess though
-
Easily Leatherface. Not only is he the weakest, toxic players absolutely love him. They go after him like flies on #########.
-
It's crazy how some of y'all take anything the devs say and twist it into the worst possible interpretation of what they meant.
-
A pirate killer would have to incorporate fake chests. Also his mori would have to include a peg leg and a hook.

We want this change to go live.
We see it as a quality of life change for Survivors on hooks (no one wants to be farmed from the hook for a token) and it makes the perk more tactical for Survivors who run it.
This change promotes healthy gameplay and situational awareness from the Survivors who run WGLF. If you have issues knowing if the killer is near, you might want to try approaching the hook more carefully. Positioning and observation are the keys here. Make those Safe Unhooks and you won't see a difference.
As for the token for health states, that's not something we are looking to do at the moment.
I don't see how it's fair that killers get 100% extra BP for completing their main objective (yes, it promotes hooking every survivor and not tunneling, but that's already the most effective way to play in most cases) yet survivors have to go out of their way to stop doing their main objective and compete for those unhooks with 3 others. That is on top of the fact that killers already make more BP than survivors in a typical game. There are also plenty of times I take hits for injured survivors and don't get the token.
I agree that tokens should be dependent on a safe unhook, but I'm not sure why there can't be another way to gain tokens, like heals.
Furthermore, there is 0 gameplay benefit to bringing this perk. You sacrifice a perk slot, which is A LOT, to hopefully get extra BP. Half the time I do not get more than 1 or 2 stacks unless I am going out of my way to ignore gens and focus on unhooks and taking hits.
Killers, who, as said before, already make more BP, get 100% more for doing what they already need to do and get a very powerful tracking perk. Not just on first hook when you get the stack, but every hook.
I just don't see the logic behind how much better of a perk BBQ is when compared to WGLF. I'm not saying it needs to be as powerful, but I don't understand why it has never gotten any love at all.

As it is now.
The EGC is not designed to help with kills, it is simply designed to end the game in a reasonable time frame while allowing some plays, this it does.
It pushes trolls out the match and helps solves the hatch standoff, this is what people asked for.
This. The fact that this reduces the ability to troll is reason enough for me that the change is well worth it.
I think end game builds are going to be a lot more popular with survivors and killers, too. Maybe broaden the meta. I see a few popular streamers using the perk Hope and I'm considering giving it a shot.

Nurse is free and you don't need to play a character to unlock their stuff.
-
Killers: Wraith, Freddy, and Myers are my most played
Survivor: Claudette, David and now Jane

There are ways to avoid this, like not getting yourself cornered.
You seem to be very passionate about this, given how much time you've spent in this topic. I find it kind of strange. 🤔
-
It's pretty wild to me that people are defending this. Pure bias. I guarantee this strategy will increase when the EGC goes live. Eventually the devs will address it somehow.
-
That's the risk you take when you buy almost any game, any DLC. Things constantly change. Often drastically.
-
Probably because, as usual, the knee jerk outrage died down after a week or so. Some of the people on here whip themselves into a frenzy with almost any change and act like the sky is falling.
-
What are the similarities between Ghostface and the Legion other than they are teens and use knives? I don't understand why people keep saying they can't do Scream because they did the Legion.
-
No. Maybe the end game timer could slow down when someone has a trap on. But to completely nullify a major aspect of her power at the end isn't fair.
-
In order to get that 35% bonus you'd need to coordinate. Leader is an OK perk but Wake Up! is a waste of a slot. I can't imagine it becoming very popular outside of meme builds. I think 15 seconds is a bit too short tho. They should space the gates out better.

That would be pretty neat. I like the idea of rewarding people for doing one thing really well (or better than the others).
I went ahead and moved this to the Wishlist for better visibility.
Thanks! Glad you like it.

No one thinks this would be fun?
-
Why is everything a color except for wood? Why not brown?
-
For survivor probably Balanced Landing.
For killer probably Enduring and Spirit Fury.
-
Do you plan on doing anything about killers who trap survivors in the basement by blocking the stairs? With the new end game collapse it seems to be an exploit that could be abused to get easy kills.
-
I see nothing wrong with it.
