It's not that great.
Also, am I crazy or do the lower tiers still have bigger skillchecks even though it was changed to be the same all through.
Or did they increase the skillcheck size for the "Tremendously"? It often seems bigger than it used to, to me.
-
Hold up, Otz made an awesome video talking about this. Please check it out!
-
Sorry Mr good connection, coulda send over some money to improve that? No? Then pass, deal with it. Not everyone can have the highspeed connection you do.
-
Survivor is for sure easier than killer. I play it when I want a less stressful time.
-
Its for gameplay reasons, which is why they made a whole perk out of it. It's supposed to be that zoomed in.
I really doubt they'd do this, but at the least you shouldn't have survivors disappear under you because of limited fov.
-
They're neat, seriously. Wish they just make icons customization so Console players could customize the perks too.
But whoever quits over something like this is just acting like a spoiled brat.
-
So it is faster! I just thought the animations were making it look faster. Gotcha

He was never bad before I agree. Now old clown did require proper bottle placements, and he was still fine, but he was pretty much unplayable without cork stopper.
Very true about the Reload, their choice to reduce it at base for this was honestly one of the best things. Now the addon is not "required" and you're open to more combos.
-
I loved Clown on release, and I'm loving him so much more now.
Baseline he has been BUFFED.
His second bottles have some awesome usage imo.
I personally don't even think he was that bad before, definitely not low tier because well placed bottles lead to short ass chases. Now, we have that as well as some improvements and a new bottle type.

I am still having a lot of trouble not hitting terrain as well. I am used to killers where you can turn and aim their swing but nurse seems to "lock in" on where you looked last.
Yes this, I'm playing Nurse now for the first time and I get this a LOT. Very frustrating.
-
This, or because of the lack of windows, reduce the amount of safe pallets.
While you're at it, pls do something about the dead end pallets, preferably reduce the amount of breakable walls.
-
Kiddos all afraid of change.
-
I'd say neither but I supposed the Twins themselves need some tweaks on their power.
-
I'll never understand this feeling sick or exhausted from looking all over the screen. Such kiddos.
But they said the new UI will freshen things up as well as give them ability to add new stuff in the future
-
How is it difficult? Maybe if you've got poor vision the survivor hud area sucks, but other than that I don't understand the getting tired looking all over the screen. I'm on a 60in screen with the hud as small as possible, and I'm not having this issue.
I'd go for some adjustments but overall most complaints are just too much.
-
I like the new animations, but the emotion they have seem to be too cocky for ppl running for their lives/ staring death in the face.
-
No thanks
-
Music to my ears... or eyes
I'll take some adjustments but I do not want the old one back. Love the new stuff
-
Nope, just someone who doesn't have the same opinions as everyone else.
Wack, this new update is dope and people are just afraid of change.

you cant scan effectively. You either set your hud to tiny and seeing you icons is a strain or you set it to an average size and your FOV is cluttered with Icons that were once comfortably place in the bottom of the screen
I guess it depends on the person. I've got it as small as it can get and don't struggle to see it.
-
Yep, loving Clown, new maps, and new UI! Survivor animations are pretty neat but I still find they have too much of a cocky emotion. Should be a bit more afraid ya think?
Speaking on the new UI, I don't understand why people say it exhausts them. I play on a 60in tv, and have the hud at the lowest and I still don't feel that.
I love the fresh feeling in this update!
-
please.
There's some killers like hag I would like it on but I hate it otherwise. I swear it robs you of more hits than it gives.

They haven't stopped optimizing, you know?
Dude,they didn't even started lmao
How else would you explain that Optimization isn't any better after years ?
lol okay pal
-
If people get exhausted looking around a screen in a game where they should be looking around anyways (if you don't scan the screen as killer then you're prob missing a lot of survivors)
I find that complaint completely ignorant.
They should move a few things closer but I like the new UI.
-
I tend to miss a lot of changes, this will be included.
However, for me at least, it doesn't mean I don't like the change. I really love the fresh feel of the new hud. It needs some adjustments like putting things a bit closer (hook counter, Points) but nice overall. Can't wait to see the new stuff they said that'll come with it later!
-
Hard one for me since I really don't truly hate anyone anymore, but I used to despise Billy so Hillbilly.
-
Sure, for some.
I'm happy with the new hud for the most part, and I generally see improvements in every update.
They haven't stopped optimizing, you know?
-
Ace, all personal reasons.
He's the only one I didnt even level up for the perks, got one through his web and the other 2 on the shrine.

They don't deserve that escape, they ######### died and now used such skill as holding m1 to instantly revive themselves and render themselves invunerable for a minute.
And the killer failed to make sure no survivor could deliverance at the end.
Or, you couldn't down that one who managed to deliverance out.
Hook everyone at least once before the end of the game, and this wont be an issue.
They definitely deserve it if they managed to stay alive the whole time.
-
Most Often: Spirit, Twins, Clown, Doctor, Ghost Face
Sometimes: Plague, Legion, Freddy, Pyramid Head, Demo, Blight
-
As killer, I see no difference. Besides the occasional hacker it's the same as console players.
-
I feel generally, it's really good. However, the healing seems sketchy.
Honestly, it should be only healing yourself.
Just: It's a stealth killer, you wait a sec to decide if you want them to heal you to wait if they come.
Sneaky sneak Ghosty is just watching from a distance waiting for you to heal a bit. Then he strikes.
-
Doubtful, I don't run the perk and even when I'm trying to do bad I'll pip as survivor.
-
Nah.
Also people look lame when they bring up that endgame scenario for Dstrike, at the point where all they've got left is a straight shot to the door, you've pretty much lost em. It's deserved if they manage to save those perk for that late for the perfect scenario.
You had to have never hook that one with deliverance btw, again, they deserve that save and escape.

not sure why any one person's opinion is more valid than others' TBH
after 50 hours the game's mechanics are not rocket science for either side.. someone with 10k hours can come to same conclusions as someone with 60
This.
Tired of the "Scott said this so come looook"
So?

You know, there are just certain things here that people complain about over and over again no matter how often you explain it to them 🤷♂️
Seriously.... same crap with freddy's lunge.
-
Left 4 Dead 2, the Left behind Paragraph is what made me find the game
-
Idk, I feel it's a stupid term since I think you should pick perks based on your personal and your character's weakness.
So I guess all perks are crutch perks to me, if you need it.

So you're telling me big boy Nemesis or Mr X getting hit by a pallet thrown down by a 120 pound soaking wet lady makes sense but a giant like Oni or really any killer not fully human getting stunned does?
It also makes sense that David, a man who gets into regular bar fights for funsy is somehow unable to overpower Amanda, a 5'3" killer (or at least that's how tall her actress is) who just lifts him up over her shoulders while he kicks and screams like he's a rowdy toddler?
Spoiler Alert; a lot of things in this game don't work if you decide to apply "real world" logic to it.

Make it a reversed BBQ and Chili. When someone gets hooked, you can see the killer for 4 seconds and he can't see you unless he has an aura reading perk like BBQ and Chili. It works at any range. It would levigate the hate towards BBQ while also providing a survivor a good perk that can let the person know if the killer is heading their way. Instead of BPs, you get unlimited aura range for 4 seconds like BBQ and Chili. What do you guys think? Would help to know if the killer is coming your way so you can dip. Would combo with Sole Survivor and Distortion so you get all benefit with no real consequence. Might have to remove my post in General since I didn't see this until after it was posted @MandyTalk
Kindred unfortunately would make that perk seem worthless. However, if we used your effect but instead had it activate like, when the killer downs a survivor. To keep it obsessive, change it to if you are the obsession and get knocked down, reveal the aura to all other survivors.
Edit: Forgot to mention this was just a further way to help with the solo gap, it can give info on what the killer is doing once they decide to slug.
-
That'd be pathetic if it does.
I've ran D strike maybe 5-10 times in 3 years and yet somehow have still survived and had fun as survivor?
If people really quit over something like this, then good riddance.
-
I like this, but it's not enough.
Should also increase power recovery time, and make seeing when she phases a feature instead of a hard to see bug.
-
How can you be tired of something that really isint common?
-
Neat ideas! Would love to see a Fnaf chapter and these perks fit pretty well.
-
Either this, or flesh out the tree. There's nothing of note in that map besides the tree, and it's pretty lame. Should be able to get up it's roots easier or even go through it.
-
In stead of a separate key, I'd prefer it to only use a token when the lunge is increased. Holding it and hitting a survivor withing average lunge distance won't consume a token, but if you reach the added lunge distance then it will be consumed.
-
Twins are not weak.
They're not fun.
-
Cats eye ball can make for some jumpscares, but other than that theres just too many sound cues
-
He's not boring. He's strong.
Well, If you're talking playing against imo.
I feel he's kinda boring to play, as little of his power makes me really think or come up with cool tricks.
For playing against, if they say he's boring then it's just more of the case of
"Too strong, I can't win, let's say it's boring because the devs said they want to make things fun"
