Spirit change?

A way to make her less oppressive towards newer players and experienced players at times would be to lose 50% of her power charge after being stunned giving players the knowledge that she can't phase right away allowing them to reposition themselves to a better spot.

  • that's actually not too bad, i wouldn't mind if this became a thing.

  • I just want to be able to hear her when she's phasing like how she can hear you when you're breathing/injured.

There's just no information given to the survivor when she phases that it's all guesswork. You're pretty much screwed if you don't have IW anyway.

did you play when you could hear her? there was a bug that made her easy to track with sound and it was also like that in her ptb, it makes her really weak.

like all you have to do is camp the pallet and throw it once you hear her in one direction and just vault it when you hear her going to a side. When the bug was live i faced 3 spirits each of them gave up on chasing me at good loops she was basically easier to play safe against than clown.

  • I like this, but it's not enough.

Should also increase power recovery time, and make seeing when she phases a feature instead of a hard to see bug.

Well she needs to give some kind of information to the survivor when she phases, otherwise there isn't any real counter play without iron will.

It's guess work yeah but making her super unviable isn't the way, with the OP's idea i actually wouldn't mind if her getting stunned completely drained her power but besides a tell for when she is phasing i don't think she should have any info on where she is while phasing as it is just too easy to play safe. especially when she exits phasing since she is a 4.4 m/s killer without a power for a couple of seconds survivors would always be on the other side of the pallet and could even just run to the next one and then do the same thing.

  • I had an idea for a tell at one point.

In an fairly massive radius around her, there would be visual effects that resemble electronic interference, getting ever so slightly more present as she gets closer.

It would be pretty difficult to gauge exactly how far away she is, but you could tell if she was in your area.

  • There is a give when she phases but it is super subtle because she twitches anyways, her posture changes very slightly and you have to have seen her phase about a thousand times before you notice it, think of if clown threw his bottle tell was his nose wiggling for a brief moment.
