Even though mindgames no longer work it just sounds blatently overpowered especially with object since now you can see the killer the whole time and have a 7% speed boost, now rocks are infinites against all ranged killers and every loop is easy to play optimally
-
try other ranged killers and find out if sticking with deathslinger is right for you
-
My only problem is with some of the addons descriptions, the effect of the addon here is just completely unrelated to the description above, ah yes lubricating the parts of a jigsaw box increases ambush power?
-
Trickster, free easy access to knives everywhere, just pallet stun him and go for the Achilles tendon and you are out of there in a cool 10 minutes
-
It already is

So those 10 minute bully fests meant nothing overall...yup killers are going to stick around☠
They meant about 30-40% overall probably meaning you should be around the 60th percentile of mmr so easier matches I don't see how that can be a bad thing now that you are there

At this point, I'm wondering if there is some lore reason that Survivors have to be all from the same Era. Withholding the licensed characters, all of them could easily be from the present.
I mean there is a theoretical reason average lifespan was pretty low so they probably wouldn't have the same feeling of needing to survive to see tomorrow when tomorrow on average brings some sort of plauge or flu with it vs modern survivors whos life expectancy if they were to survive mindsets aren't as limited by those setbacks so their brains can be more emotional about it
so its more about the quality of the survivors and being from the modern area leads with it more emotional survival
-
its both

- No more full lunge after blink (bug since 1.9 update).
- Can be seen through walls while blinking.
- Visually appears to survivors before she is even able to attack post blinks.
- Two or even three (bug that will never gets fixed) cooldowns on her blink.
- Indoor maps and more bugs that doesnt allow you to blink being constantly released.
She is already dead, what else do you want dude!?
Yea but
The first one is explained by the reworked acceleration system where you only gain speed at a maximum fixed rate the lunge still lasts as long as a normal lunge but doesn't go as far due to the first 1-2/5ths being just for accelerating up to 6.9m/s
The third one is not always the case with latency although its supposed to be a basekit mechanic since she has a amount of blink reappearance time based on her blink distance so actually its a basekit mechanic to help survivors that can be circumvented by giving yourself latency
The indoor map bugs are just being easer to blink into a section of wall with no place to reappear and going nowhere an experienced nurse should know not to blink in those cases and to know where to blink instead

Well its strong with certain killers and certain perks its mostly a win more perk where this perk piggy backs off other perks strengths like ruin undying, but as soon as those are gone or the killer is run around properly they usually get no value or much less value out of it, as soon as your remove the supports for example ruin undying killers are left with a much weaker perk, or if your team takes a few good chases and don't get hooked they can't pop a tinkerered gen
-
Based on what I think I know which is about 6% accurate give or take 6% (this is a complete guess)
in the system they have created there is a limit to how much mmr you can have and a limit to how much mmr you can gain and lose in a single match, the way to lose the most mmr is to have a long match where you lose in comparison to a fast match where you lose, so depending on how long it took you to lose those matches id wadger you lost around 10-15 mmr per match averaging around ~12.5 if its an even split between 1 kill and 0 killers meaning you have probably dropped somewhere around 500 mmr on trickster, and since your mmr is based off your best killer if you have a comp squad ready nurse skillset that you played a decent amount in casual your mmr on trickster started 10% lower than your highest killer mmr which was probably max or near max based on your experience as trickster, so id guestimate based on these factors your mmr would probably be 1350~1200 mmr meaning you are nearing an area where you might have some more wiggle room if queues were balanced but since they might not be you might still face better or worse survivors as determined by the mm system
-
Well since it doesn't have that aspect that makes dbd well dbd probably not but it might be decent competition
-
its not meant to be used mid chase, its more of a recover resources after a chase so you have them for use in future chases, plus on a 60 second cooldown forces the killer to wait for you to pick up whatever god pallet you can now spam with this perk would probably be annoying
-
Doesn't seem like bugs to me
-
Honestly I hope its just changed to a lengthy cooldown between picking traps up 60-90 seconds but even if it stays the same it offers a new interesting playstyle
-
His power is high risk and randomly between high and no reward his secondary power is alright
I would say try other killers before this one if you have the option he needs more time to marinate
-
I think overall player mmr is being to heavily weighted, sure it should be weighted up having it be that close to your player mmr is unfair expecting you to lose 30-40 games just to go back to average matches with a new killer is too much, I think playing a new killer mmr should be more volatile so you if preform poorly early on you drop to where you need to be faster

Call of duty cold wars, warzone, modern warfare and Minecraft
Lumping in several games of the same genre isn't the best example, could we have more that are less of the same
-
Ace in the hole, increased secondary addon chance to 50/75/100% chance, at the end of the match you gain a copy of all looted addons to your survivor inventory (doesn't work if you dc or ######### on hook early in the match)
Open handed, (additional effect) having this perk equipped in lobby shows it to all other survivors with an icon over your head, you cannot switch off this perk or switch to another survivor when the timer is below 30 seconds (to prevent trolling)
Up the ante, 3 times per game you can gamble an item while near an empty chest, the gambled item has a chance to increase or decrease in rarity (50%/50%, 66%/33%, 80%/20%, affected by luck each % of luck increases odds of success and decreases odds of failure maxing out at 12% luck) addons on gambled items stay the same, charges are not replenished while gambling an item, once per game you can sacrifice an empty item and send it to your survivor inventory
-
Clown, the knife twirl + laugh is the best and watching him switch into maximum overdrive with the animation with save the best for last is even better on top of the skins from long knives, small knives, thin long letter openers, probably just one of the best animations
-
Well I don't think there should be an option to have an offering for it, it would be nice to see in custom games some options for old / older / oldest versions of some of the maps, kinda like a memento of what was
I still would like to see both a pre remake but also a old old version of the maps like old cow tree, and old swamp where it was just massive with 2 piers, I never got to explore those maps and it always seemed like a interesting thing to do or have as an option for kyf just to flesh out that gamemode more
-
He has collision its just the duration that the survivors lose collision for is long enough that you can start canceling fatigue while they can still move through you, otzdarva pointed this out in one of his suggesting changes videos as it would be a nice change to immediately overide collision loss when you start canceling frenzy instead of waiting for the survivors collision to come back normally so you can try and use canceling your power quickly to your advantage

When a blight is constantly putting someone down, there's no time to look for a totem. By the time you already found it, it's already game over.
so use totem perks or items, the killer is going risk reward you can do the same

Okay, thanks. I thought it was a bug or something, because it just didn't make any sense to me since Exposed status puts survivor into the dying stage only with basic attacks and special attacks do not cause that, which sounds a bit unfair in my opinion. You could have planned everything and kept Devour Hope secret till 5 tokens but not so easily. I mean, having Devour Hope totem up alone is RNG anyways (mostly on weaker killers), so it would be only fair for killers to keep it secret till hit with basic attack. Like, if survivors wanna focus on gens and ignore Devour Hope, let them do so. They ignored side mission and paid the price, just like they'd do when facing NOED.
Well the main reason is because devour hope gives you the ability to kill people, having it reveal itself more liberally makes it much harder to suddenly surprise the survivor team with 5 stacks and instantly kill a survivor with no time to react, killers like blight, huntress, pyramid head, trickster, nemesis, and demo for example would all have an easy time hiding it by only using their power and being able to completely win a match off of something survivors didn't have the ability to react to

Special attacks never reveal the devourer.
..
-
Counterpoint to #4 decrease the aura reading range to 6-8 meters but have a screen border when you are within that range of the box, this isn't really to make it much easier to find the box but its more of a quality of life for people who are hearing impaired or deaf since they have the hardest time finding the box and it would be nice to have a small buff thats closer to quality of life for people who need it
-
Devour hope is revealed by any attack thats not a grab, including basic attacks, and special attacks (which does encompass ranged attacks) what you might be thinking of is noed which only reveals itself on a basic attack
-
I remember those were fun times pub stomping with blight until people realized blight was strong
-
Challenge for groups quad head on stun
Solo Challenge, using autodidact, were gonna live forever, fast track, small game, acquire the maximum number of stacks for all perks at the same time which means 5 stacks of autodidact, 4 stacks of were gonna live forever, 27 stacks of fast track, and 5 stacks of small game for a total of 41 stacks
-
My bad, it will be fixed by next sunday, where map rotation is heavily corn weighted
-
If she had ds active before being sent to a cage it wouldn't drain the remaining timer, and it would still remain active but the timer wouldn't refresh and it would count down while in the cage

At launch it was meg because her perks mathmatically made her a 4.2 survivor
Currently its a tossup for me between meg and claudette because healing perks that directly boost speed are pretty useful and selfcare can save a team in a pinch more times in the match than adrenaline can
-
According to his lore wraith probably needs a hug
Best hug / back break is probably from oni he got muscles and knows how to give a good hug seeing as the renjiro doctrine has so much weird information in it the thing probably has a passage for the perfect hug
-
Emotions are a balance the fact that you feel sad now just means you are able to feel a lot happier later on, so its both a blessing and a curse to feel sad
-
Use devour hope + iridecent head
while a survivor is hooked walk back enough for devour hope to light up (since the perk lights up when 24 meters away) then pelt the rescuer with an instadown hatchet since the achievement only progresses with downs
profit
-
Honestly this is the first time a single totem has led to an entire map being disabled but I feel its mostly just a test to use their new map disabling system to see what boundaries we have as players for the minimum requirement to disable a map
-
Problem, the changing of ambush times and addons turn her from a 4.6 killer to a 4.7 killer with the right addons just for spamming ambush
-
Games not currently disabled and I think that might just be how the game looks on ultra graphics settings or filters to make it darker or some kind of lighting glitch

like 50 tiers of the rift

how many bloodpoints did you earn from rank rewards last month?
475k + the bonus 500k because of outages, I personally took a day off and it was fixed when I got back to it

Thats not how free works, free means no cost, it costs your time for your "free bloodpoints" so they aren't free

Uhhh - Killers NEVER run Sloppy - ok LOL.
I generally run Sloppy + Thana - 20% increase in amount it takes to heal... or don't heal and take that 20% inefficiency to gens.
I usually run: Sloppy, Thanatophobia, Nurse's, and Pop on my Doctor & Legion and it serves me very well :)
why wouldn't you just use the defaced smiley pin on legion and free up a perk slot

or disarm all traps within a certain distance from the hook when a survivor is unhooked

Instead of changing how base mechanics like regression and hex functionality for lower tier killers we buff these killers to have a movement power, better chase, or both (hey trapper and legion) so they can stand their own vs the best teams.
Well since the devs fixes to prominent quality of life and some amount of game improvement are just change perks instead of basekit mechanics he is surprisingly speaking closer to their balancing language, sure its not a good change but its in a direction the devs would probably take
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
No offence but this is one of the worst ideas I've ever seen on these forums.
Elaborate
-
85 Pips for killer only or 170 pips for both sides and you no longer lose rank
but honestly the 500k bp isn't exactly worth the time you might put into it especially on the survivor side since survivor earns much less bp than killer on average
so I would just try and settle for the killer sides 250k bp and play a few matches here and there and you should place decently and gain bp along the way anyway
-
Thats just how dbd downloads go, every bug fix loads for a bit at 100%, every midchapter takes 15-30 minutes, and big chapters can take up to an hour
Honestly its just because of the specs of the devices, if you upgrade your hard drive to a ssd or ssd to a better ssd the times improve substantially since the last of the update after 100% is no longer internet dependent its on the device, personally I have 5k mbs read / write and it takes me 1 minute for a bug patch and 5~7 on a chapter release so its not like the problem will be gone but it will be much faster
