I'd play more if there was a way to earn auric cells by playing but the progression ######### sucks, i can't even buy them since Epic is bugged as ######### so yeah the game is boring with just the starter killers. I came back only for the Ring update but now i think i'll drop it again.
They have iridescent shards that you can earn while playing which is "free" in-game money you can earn. They let you buy all their original characters, sooooo they already have a system for that.

I know a hook spawns in the house at least sometimes. Not sure if it's guaranteed. Although if they bring breakdown or toolboxes... RIP killer. Slugging time
-
I know they mentioned that this design of the main menu helped with problems where the text for certain languages wouldn't fit in the original design boxes. Not sure if this was their main reason and the solution they made was changing locations like they did, but I don't mind the new menu screen. Change is hard to adjust to, but give it a few months and it won't be bad, plus you aren't looking at the main menu for long hopefully...

I'm a Bill main. I wasn't always a Bill main though. Probably with the first 6 months I was between Nea then Meg. Back when I started, I was the stealthy scared survivor who Urban Evaded when my premonition went off as Nea. I would use Urban evasion to avoid getting chased. I then evolved into being a meg main who would greed a gen with my spine chill going off and sprint burst away in the killer's face. After 6 months though, I started to play Bill. I always played altruistically and I liked the reputation that Bill would sacrifice his life for his friends/teammates. So that's why I main Bill, I usually will always go for the altruistic play and body block for my teammates. Sometimes I die because of it, but that's okay. I enjoy playing the loud old man. Probably I would still main Bill if I was a new player, but I might have chosen Felix because he has some cool skins. I would even main Jeff or Quentin if I wasn't already a Bill main.

She's also getting a free skin for the Anniversary event.

Oh my gosh! All of these flan haters... as a flan fanatic I am devastated. The tweet really got me in the first half though, I felt like a kicked puppy, but then the second half got me really excited.
I can just imagine that someone brought a really good flan dessert to the office and the dev team thought it would be brilliant to spice up the anniversary with this elegant dessert. I approve. I need flan now.

I could imagine seeing NOED reworked (or just a brand new perk) so that it allows you to mori survivors who are on their second hook stage at any point in the game. The condition that would trigger this ability would hooking every survivor once.
Downsides: No more insta down end game perk and not sure how a DC would affect this perk and how the game would compensate.
Upsides: No longer a hex, so it's a little more reliable. Can by pass DS and be a counter for that. Sort of encourages to spread pressure, but can cause some tunneling issues once everyone is one hooked, although it requires the killer to get 5 hooks first.
Also, please don't automatically bash this idea, it was just a fun idea of a perk that allows to mori that is in response to OP. The actual balance of this perk would have a lot of issues, but I just wanted to suggest something that is a little different but follows what the thread was started with.

how would exclusive cosmetics for reaching P3 on a character be any more elitist than the current bloody clothing that we get for prestieging
Everyone is still able to earn the blood prestige outfits, but a P3 reward cosmetic would be limited time and only certain people would be able to get them on all characters. Also, it excludes new players who join the game after the rework. Though I feel like any specific reward is elitest in a sense unless they're only giving shards/bp or not going to be publicly shown. Who knows.

I think the problem that most people have with it and are rejecting it outright without explanation because it kind of feels cheap to not be able to counter play the killer. That's one of the main issues people had with spirit before was that she felt like she didn't have a good counter to her power. You were almost always guaranteed to have to make a 50/50 which didn't feel like a good mechanic. Giving her the ability to make an aura focused build where she is almost guaranteed the down in chase no matter what doesn't feel good from the survivor side. The survivor can't mind game or do anything to prevent the damage or down because they can't see the killer and the killer knows exactly where they are.
Another issue that might arise from her being able to see auras is just the Mother Daughter Ring add on. It's tough enough to play against this add on at times, but add in aura reading during chase, it could just make it more overpowered at getting the damage state.
-
Crow mommy is A tier and that makes me approve your list. Although everyone hates playing her and playing against her, I love her power and will continue to main her. I do appreciate that you didn't just plop Dredge on your list without playing them, even for those who played them on the PTB, I still think it's way too early to assess its true potential in the tiers. I always enjoy seeing how other people rank killers.

If I cannot move for 4 minutes, and just have to lie there, that is being held hostage. I dont care what the game terminology is or what the "devs" label it as. a person -who does not want to be held there- is kept in a position where they have zero control aside from dc'ing.. which can get reported.
could be on to the next game by the time. if this is "ok" to do.. then we need to just be able to end the bleed timer and die because its not fun.. it just feels really really bad.
It sucks that it happens, but it's not something that the game deems bannable offense. If this is happening to you many times in a row, I feel bad for you because that's just super unlucky. You can try to run anti-slugging perks to counter it, but in reality you shouldn't be having matches that play out like this repeatedly. Either find a swf to raise your mmr and get better killers who aren't trolling for salt or maybe take a break and play a different game.
-
You just have to work on your timings. You most likely are not dropping the pallet soon enough. I get the prompt a lot where I'm trying to drop the pallet and I'm spamming space bar but they get the hit. Just happens. It's close hits. Sometimes you can even get hit through the pallet. Keep practicing.
-
In my opinion, 2 of her perks are more gimmicky and can be countered relatively easily once you catch on, and the last perk is pretty good on certain killers.
Merciless Storm: You can use this perk on some builds if you are going for a gen grabbing build (use tinkerer to prepare for them to focus on the skill checks and try to go for the grab using stealth killers). The problem with this perk in gimmick builds is that survivors will tend to catch on if they are not oblivious and you have to be mindful of spine chill users. On its own, not very good perk, it's only one use per gen and the skill checks aren't too difficult on their own. (I think it should be buffed that if a gen gets below 50%, it could activate again)
Call of Brine: Can be devastating on uncoordinated solo queue teams, but isn't that effective because survivors can tap gens. You can combo it with Dragon's Grip, but after a survivor falls for this once, they probably won't again, or they'll tap the gens while injured to deny you any value. Dragon's grip also has a long cool down and short activation period, so it isn't a winner combo necessarily. Pop and call of brine can be devastating to a gen if you pop the gen near the hooked survivor and all other survivors are far from the hook. It'll cause the gen to regress a lot, but can easily be countered from survivors being close. Survivors can also spread out on gens and pressuring multiple which is hard for any killer who isn't mobility.
Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage: This perk is really good on Nurse, Blight, and Plague, also Huntress on certain maps and maybe Artist. This perk can also get some good synergy with MYC and wraith. I've seen someone get consistent instant downs because of using MYC and Floods of Rage aura reading. I think this one is probably her best perk in regards to getting consistent value, but still can be situational at times on it's own.
-
You could also not load into a match. If you want to give up or not play a match, then just don't queue up to ruin everyone else's game. You essentially are asking for a free way to DC from the match which is problematic. If you have to afk or leave because an emergency, just DC or leave the application open (or alt+F4).
-
It definitely seems a little odd and that they should flip it, but you could argue that it's easier to hit the survivor and let them break the chain, for example, at a pallet, you can't hit them, but you can still injure and cause mangled by breaking the chain. It's probably because getting the actual hit is harder than just shooting and intentionally breaking the chain. You also have to remember that there's the cigar, which combos very well with the green add on as well. It's a little confusing, but I can understand their reasoning. They should definitely change the rusty spike description though so it's less confusing for the conditions for it to activate.
-
I will literally suicide myself so someone doesn't die on first hook, especially if they did a lot during that match or carried it. I don't care enough about escaping to let someone die who really deserves a chance at escape. A good teammate who carried the game shouldn't ever be left behind, and as a Bill main, I'll take a suicide mission if that means I can save someone else and let them escape.
-
Mandy confirmed that they will give us enough time to plan for the prestige rework. They aren't able to tell us months in advance of what date they're choosing, but they won't just make it happen without telling us first.
-
As another person has already said, look for certain perk combos that get rid of scratch marks. When you have a match where a survivor seems to pull something weird, read all their perk descriptions to see if you can maybe explain what happened. It could potentially improve your gameplay so that in future games you won't get tricked by sneaky combos.
When I play survivor, I also sometimes try to trick the killer with my scratch marks if I'm far enough ahead and out of LOS. I'll start running up the stairs or run towards and area and then walk the opposite way so that you might follow the wrong path and lose me.
-
I've got my 20K shards ready to buy both Haddie and the Dredge. Looking forward to playing around with the new perks and getting the Steam achievements.

I appreciate all of your responses, but I really hope that a *dev* gives an official statement on this. Logically, I wouldn't expect the prestige change to come out on the 7th, but you can never know for sure. If it does come out on the 7th, and BHVR was negligent on communicating that to us (it's possible), then I will miss out on the rewards for just a few characters that I could have P3-ed (I just need to hold the button) within 1 minute. And if the change comes out on the 16th, then unless I grind maniacally for a week, I won't get Haddie and the Dredge to P3.
A few months before the removal of Hawkins offerings, BHVR mentioned in a patch note that they would be removing them with the mid-chapter update or something, but not everyone read the patch notes carefully, nor did everyone remember about the removal. BHVR could have given us a heads up a few days prior to the Hawkins offering removal in-game and/or on Twitter, but they didn't. If I knew the offerings would have been removed, I would have used them all, 'cause I adore that map and it's a big shame I didn't get to enjoy it more before it was gone.
That's why I am concerned that BHVR will push this change without giving us a heads-up, and many of us are gonna be frustrated. The grind for P3 has been going on for a few years, and it's been a passion of mine, albeit exhausting at times.
Please BHVR, be transparent about this. <3
Mandy replied on a different post confirming that they will notify us before the rework.

Oh, I'm so sorry, it's the first time I've attached an image with names on it. Should I delete the post?
You could probably edit it and change the screenshot. I'm just mentioning it because a mod will probably take it down or ask for you to do this as well. Since you don't have many posts they'll have to approve the edit, but yeah.

BHVR sometimes gives you log in bonuses for various reasons. Currently, there is a community event happening where they are giving away bp, iri shards, and rift fragment over the event. BHVR has also given gifts during log in for holiday events or when they mess up and want to apologize.

You need to cover the names of other players if you want to post screenshots...

yeah daily rituals suck. I play killer and I get daily rituals for survivors or for killers that are locked.
DEVS need to add an option for daily rituals: [both, survivor and killer], and players should get rituals based only on killers that are unlocked.
If you're getting dailies for killers you don't own, this is probably a bug and you should report it. To my knowledge, you shouldn't be getting any dailies for killers that you don't own.

I am definitely talking about crossdressers who are not doing it out of funsies or due to a fetish (which I already clarified) - but I do mean crossdressers that see this as part of their individuality/lifestyle and are probably partly non-binary or at least in some extent queer or part of the + kind the LGBTQ+ community.
as for Drag Queens/Kings I also think they are part of the + , as they are strongly associated with queer/gay culture and are being marginalized for that.
Oh yeah, I definitely agree personally that if you are deciding to cross dress as your lifestyle/fashion choices, you most likely fall under some category under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. I feel like there are very rare occasions where this happens and they don't at least find themselves queer in some aspect.
I also totally agree that Drag Queens/Kings will be part of the LGBTQ+ community. They are generally chastised for doing what they do (even if they don't identify as gay/queer themselves). Plus, usually they are queer/gay so they are just part of that community for that reason. They also usually are beacons for the community, so I personally view them as being part of the LGBTQ+ group by default (as long as they're serious of course).

Bi people who are in a straight relationship can't just delete their mind and suddenly only be attracted to the opposite gender, so no, it is not the same as taking your clothes and makeup off.
Your POV isnt the same as scientific POV. You either are cisgender, or you are transgender. Transgender also including people on the "spectrum" which are nonbinary people. Nonbinary people aren't considered crossdressers either.
I'm not twisting your words though, I literally quoted you, you're just backtracking now. What speaks volumes is again other LGB people thinking it is ok to talk over trans people and compare us to crossdressers. I wish I could say I'm surprised but at this point I am not.
I don't mean to intrude, but I think there's a misunderstanding happening here where the other user is assuming that a crossdresser most likely identifies with more groups than just being a crossdresser and you're just addressing the situation that someone is just a crossdresser. I think the other user is thinking that a good portion of crossdressers do identify with either being queer, gay, or nonbinary, which by this classification would make them a part of the LGBTQ+ group. I can see your point that if someone is straight and cisgender, that if they're just cross dressing for "fun" they wouldn't necessarily be grouped as being LGBTQ+ (unless you consider them an ally if they are). I definitely do not condone the people who just fetishize crossdressing/trans people or crossdress for jokes. I can see why this deeply offends you because it is disrespectful to make light of this situation. The grey area that I see with cross dressing and being cisgender/straight is that this type of person can be marginalized because of taking part in this type of lifestyle, but again, I feel like someone who cross dresses usually will be either queer or somewhere in the + part. It's definitely odd to imagine someone deciding to cross dress who's cisgender/straight because this behavior isn't usually done by someone who identifies as both of those, so I see your point in not including them generally.

I just love the idea of playing a version of this game where I as Freddy no longer have a fear radius, and get to really enjoy the aspect of the movie version Freddy where he gets to play with his victims by increasing their fear. And if you're a survivor main, imagine starting a game where your in your PJs and laying in your bed, at which point the game starts in the dream sequence and your top priority is to find the alarm clock or a way to wake yourself up from the dream world as an escape. I guess its more of a story mode mechanic for the game so its more about the aspects that we all like as opposed to 5 gens and escape or 4k and I win.
I suggest you maybe look into smaller indie horror games or other games that are more atmospheric or story based objectives. If what you are suggesting is the type of experience you want, I don't think DbD could ever give you that type of experience. DbD doesn't really have that type of atmospheric feel to it and I'm afraid it will always be some type of grind the objective no matter what changes you make.
-
I'm pretty sure a lot of survivors and killers love that map. I play both sides and love playing that map from both. Sadly, I don't get that map often during this event, I've gotten a decent amount of maps that aren't boosted and then mostly Ormond (or people sending us to Ormond for some reason).
-
I usually try to theme my charms I'm wearing to whatever character I'm playing. Though for killers I sometimes get lazy looking through the list because queue times are short when I play. My best guess is that people like the glowy ones and that's why you see them a bunch, also if they're free and easy to get (holiday event charms). I love when survivors have the auric cell charm because I can see them from a mile away.
-
The problem with changing the whole game mechanic is that it's no longer DbD. There's probably plenty of people who don't mind the base mechanics of how you escape and wouldn't necessarily want to see the game totally changed into something else. At that point, you can just play a different game, which I'm sure many people would be upset investing time and money into DbD if they would totally recreate the game. It's also not that easy changing code like that. Retroactively changing code to change mechanics would be such a pain and probably easier making a new game from the ground up. If DbD dies and BHVR jumps ship, then maybe you can get a new game with different base mechanics.

" I don't think giving them the hook to be "nice" is a thing I should have to do" - of course you don't have to be "nice", and that's fine, but then it doesn't make sense to complain that killer is not being "nice". You want to give your team time, that's fine if you are having close game or losing. But if you are dominating killer and forcing him into camping, what does it achieve you? Others don't get unhook points and don't get chase points and killer gets no points. What's the point? Best teams don't care about hooks as long as it's within the hook budget. I've seen people giving killers hooks just stop them from tunneling. If you want to get camped to death, that's fine too, but then, just as BHVR said, you have no survival skill and if you can't strategize beyond that. The win condition is clearly defined by devs now. It's not how long you loop or how little hooks you give to killer. It's whether you survive or not. And SBMM is based on the win condition. You are free to make your own win condition, but SBMM is not going to be based off that. It is what it is.
I don't know where you thought that I was complaining that the killer wasn't being "nice," but my first post was completely sarcastic in response to the person who replied to me. Like... I wasn't really being serious at all in my response. There's some truths in what I wrote, but it was mostly just a silly response to the other person.
I do understand your logic about strategically going down so that the killer doesn't need to camp, but it's just not a viable strategy in solo queue when I have no idea what my teammates are like or how the killer will react. I don't want to just give the killer a down after 1 gen pops because I have no idea if the killer will still camp me, my team will just stick gens and let me go to second hook stage, or if my team doesn't know how to save/saves me without bt. There's just too many variables for me to rely on that I personally don't want to go down for the heck of it. I don't care too much about being camped or tunneled, the only time I care is when I'm being tunneled at 5 gens for no good reason or if I'm being camped and hit on hook after having a bad chase (where it wouldn't make sense to camp me). In a perfect world, using psychology could work, but in this game, a misplay can cause a giant snowball, and I rather practice my chase skills than escape. I personally don't care about escaping as my win condition, I'd rather keep my MMR level at what it's at since I get a good variety of killers and not just nurse and blight. Being chased and making good macro and micro plays is what I enjoy doing in the game, so getting camped and tunneled is annoying, but I just wait on the hook to go next game and hope my team leaves me to finish gens. Honestly, I'd rather die on hook and guarantee a 3 man escape than having my team risk the 4 man.
-
Artist definitely placed too low.
-
You also have to remember that DBD is an older game meaning it has more code and content that has to be checked and optimized as they release new content. It's much harder to integrate new content into 6 year old code. Imagine getting hired by BHVR and they tell you to write something that integrates into someone else's code that may or may not be written efficiently and you don't really know that person's thought process when they wrote it. I know they have a team to work on it, but it definitely isn't an easy thing to do, especially having to read through it and try to figure out what is wrong. VHS and Evil Dead are very new, meaning that their code isn't as large and probably fresher for the game developers to fix when a bug pops up.
-
I'd love to imagine the Onryo phasing straight through the oni and making him confused af because he keeps bonking the ground and she isn't actually there. Or her being so short and running around him just slapping him with her hand that he barely even feels something touching him. I would think it would be a funny mash up.
In reality, I'd probably be satisfied by having Trapper trap me in shack basement and just hear oni stepping in a bunch of traps as he tries to demon dash the basement. Just a bunch of oof sounds as he steps in every trap imaginable as I laugh my butt off in the basement awaiting my death. Bubba can probably keep me company and laugh along as he defends his chest and nods.
-
I escaped yesterday through the gates after hatch was closed. It's very hard and not always happens, but it still is possible to escape. Depends on RNG, but I'll take the chance of RNG. Doesn't waste too much time tbh. It can be a little annoying if the survivor doesn't attempt to open the gates at all and just afks in a corner or locker, but no big deal.
-
Could have been a weird internet hiccup that caused them to be stuck in the animation. You probably would have helped them out by finishing the last gen and leaving. Probably would have saved them from having to DC or alt+F4 the game, but to each their own. Could have been hacking, but usually I've found that if it really gets both of them stuck, usually a hacker will get themselves out of that situation.

Yeah... they could have upped the bp amount since that's just an artificial value they can easily manipulate without losing anything really, but I think the 1000 shards makes sense. That's a little more than 1/10th of an original character for maybe 10 minutes of survey time, to me that's not bad. If it was just bp, then yeah I would say it would be barely worth it.

There is nuance to it. I usually play nice as killer, i.e. by survivor rule book. But if I spend too much time on 1 person, and can't find anyone else near by quickly, you will be proxy camped and/or tunneled. It's just how the game works. Sometimes being nice is just not affordable. And yes, it's your skill issue. You need to think strategically. When I'm survivor and 1 gen left and killer spent too much in chase, I let killer catch up to me, so he can feel that leaving me and defending that last gen is good choice, because I know if that last gen is done, chances are I might be camped. In other words, be nice to killer and he might be nice to you.
In summary: skill is not just looping, but also understanding psychology and using it strategically.
You see, the problem with that is you don't know what is too many gens for a killer or if the killer would normally camp anyway. Sometimes I'm in situations where I pop the first gen, get into chase, and then my chase lasts long enough so that 2 gens pop and the fourth gen is almost ready to go. It doesn't necessarily have to be a long chase, but by that point, it would just be the best scenario for them to camp me. I also don't know if my teammates are doing gens or running around the map doing side objectives when I'm in chase. I'm not looping the killer to be mean, and I don't think giving them the hook to be "nice" is a thing I should have to do. I've gotten camped and tunneled for only having a 20 second chase because I won a mind game (or they didn't like Bill). It's very hard to use psychology when this game is not meant to be mind gamed at that level. I try to buy my team as much time as possible because I never know what efficiency they're completing the gens.
I do understand that if a killer invests too much time into one survivor. Their best chances at getting a kill is camping and tunneling that one survivor to death. I can't blame a killer for doing that if they're that desperate for a kill. If you couldn't tell, my response was mostly sarcastic when I was replying to the other person. I'd rather get camped at the end game and have my team escape because I know I wasted enough of the killer's time to merit that response.

You right. My mistake. How silly was I to forget I was playing hockey?
To be fair, whenever I get face camped on the hook because I ran the killer too long I just think, my fault I wasn't skilled enough to run them for 5 gens and escape. If you don't want to be camped/tunneled, just never get caught. Not being able to escape is just a skill issue. 🤣

YOU don't have time to cleanse all the totems, but YOU have other 3 team mates on an MMR based system that provides equal skill players (or at least tries). Try to communicate with them starting from the lobby screen (helps also on solo squads)
YOU have several perks that locate totems on the map and the boon meta. YOUR team mates also share the same amount of perks
YOU with YOUR team mates can have full coordination on the map, or YOU can play soloq with perks that can help with tracking the totems/killer and your survivor team. And not last, you can also take the hatch if you fail everything.
At the end of the day you doing totems is the optimal play to counter a perk that can be de-activated in the end game collapse and complaining about it but saying "I need to do gens" invalidates you saying NOED is a bad perk and goes more "I played unoptimally only doing the gens".
Learning the spawn location can be achieved with experience, but hey... you can also break up your meta build for Small Game (one example).
I never said that NOED is a bad perk. At best, I just call it annoying because sometimes when it procts, it seems like overkill because the killer was already pretty good (still fair because it solidifies the 4k, just feels bad man when you worked so hard to try and get a 1 man out).
Also for reference, I use you as in the general use of you, meaning you as the survivor. Not you personally (2nd person). This can come off as confusing, just wanted to clarify that.
In a SWF situation, or even just duos, there really isn't an excuse to not take care of the totems tbh. I agree with you in that manner that you have complete (or almost complete) control over the pace of the game and if you don't take care of NOED risks, then that was your fault.
I play in soloq 90% of the time when I'm playing. It is incredibly difficult to be able to gauge when I need to start cleansing totems/if I need to cleanse the totems. Also, when it comes to soloq, it can be difficult to locate the totems when people are breaking them at random around the map. Even if you run small game and know there's only 1 totem left, you still have to run around the map trying to find it because you might not have cleansed them all. I personally can find all 5 totems pretty easily (usually) if I'm the only one running around the map looking for them. I just usually do a big circle and cleansing is easy, it's much harder to try and find a solo totem without having references to the ones already broken.
Cleansing totems is optimal play when you think that NOED might be in play. It's not completely optimal when you don't think it's in play/know it can't be in play. I get the sentiment though of "assume NOED is in play always" like how killers "assume everyone has BT." That's understandable to use as an argument, it's just a little harder to coordinate the preventative measures against NOED compared to BT.
Dedicating a perk slot to ensuring all the totems are complete is a way to counter NOED if you see it a lot. That's a fair counterplay to a perk that is free for anyone to use (on both ends). Although, you can't just blame survivors for not always having a totem seeking perk to prevent NOED because in my experience, most killers don't run NOED and the ones that do you can usually predict it. You would basically be asking a survivor to bring a dead perk always, which in SWF is fair, but soloq it's much harder to give up certain perks.
Trust me when I say that I try to prevent NOED whenever I can. Even as soloq I will stop doing any gen until I get the totems complete, but sometimes my other survivors don't know that's why I'm 99 gens or running around the map looking for totems. I have had plenty of games where I'm running around the map and have 3/5 totems done but then gen pops and the killer has NOED. Sometimes I can find the last 2, sometimes the killer hooked right next to the totem. Soloq is incredibly difficult to coordinate, even in high MMR, most survivors just want to leave without thinking about the potential danger.
After playing the game for 2 years and having experienced both sides, I don't think NOED is as problematic as people say. It definitely poses problems because it's a noob stomper perk and teachers beginner killers bad habits sometimes, but it's definitely counterable and isn't the strongest in higher MMR tbh. I've been able to prevent NOED proct many times when playing in Duos.

It's the score you receive on the first page of the end game screen summary (the bp with the multipliers). This means it can be above the 32K if you have offerings/perks.

i would love to know this to... Is it without BBQ or with BBQ as total?
You can put the value down that is shown on the first slide of the end game screen summary. Mandy said they are aware of the visual bug with BBQ, so they'll take this into account and you don't have to worry about doing the math.

I'm not sure what you aren't understanding by what I'm saying. I'll try to explain my thought process a little better. The reason that they are asking for the bloodpoints is that it is an easier way for them to track which SPECIFIC game you played for the survey information you filled out. Let's say you complete survey 1, survey 2, survey 3, and so on. How can they find the results of your match if you only give them your ID? Sure they know who you are, but they don't know how to find the results from survey 1 match 1. Your match history looks the same to them. They wouldn't be able to find match 1 for survey 1 you filled out because they have no idea when you started to fill out the surveys. Having the bloodpoint total as a tracker helps them identify the match because it is highly unlikely you'll get the same score twice in a row (unless you max out your bp amount at the cap). Asking for bloodpoints to identify the specific match helps them collect more data that corresponds with your responses that you either couldn't report because it was hidden or questions they didn't want to waste your time asking (what killer, were you swf, what perks used, etc.).
It's up to you to do the surveys or not. No one is forcing you to complete them. It's nice that BHVR has incentivized them because that wasn't necessary for them to do at all. Giving out iri shards is basically free money considering it can buy in-game content. They're basically paying you to complete a 1 minute survey as you wait in queue for your next match to start. It's not like you are doing their job when they're asking for feedback. The point of the surveys is trying to get more information from the player base (things that a design/dev team can overlook). If you don't want to provide feedback to the game, it's okay. Just because you don't fully understand what they are doing behind the scenes with the surveys or they didn't explain it in enough detail for you means you need to give up on the surveys in the future, but I understand if it's not worth your time (you don't need the shards or bp).

I would suggest reading the emblem descriptions carefully and trying to maybe see what emblems you usually get higher in.
From my experience, it's easiest to get iri emblem for the benevolent and lightbringer categories. Prioritize gens, unhooks, and cleansing totems. Sometimes you just need to keep playing games until you get a good one, it's definitely not an easy challenge, but it's doable.

The amount you get is 1000 iri shards and 300000 bp for completing all 7 surveys. Mandy replied to one of the many posts about this topic saying that the compensation is that amount (not for each). I still think it's worth it because if you were playing those games anyway, it's just a free extra reward considering the survey is super short.
